It is the belief and teaching of some that a fulfilled eschatology means that individual sin is impossible. Others limit sin to only those who were under the Law of Moses? Is this accurate. Today we will examine some texts which address the topic and offer our thoughts concerning the meaning of these texts. Also, make a note to attend the Memphis Eschatology Conference 2018, which will be held on October 19-20 at the Raines Road church of Christ, Memphis, TN, 33 E. Raines Road. We will have eight speaks from accross the country to discuss eschatology in the Pauline Epistles.
The temple is at the center of all eschatological passages in the New Testament. This centrality is critical in understanding and applying passages related to Christ's coming and the last days. Evidence of the importance of the temple can be seen in Dispensational writer's and in various religious groups focused on the rebuilding of the temple to complete their eschatological paradigms.
In this and future lessons, we explore the interrelated connections between the temple of God and the Parousia of Christ.
The late Curtis A. Cates, former Director of the Memphis School of Preaching (MSOP) wrote a book, The A.D. 70 Theology, subtitled A ReligionThat Overthrows the Faith and Undermines the Hope of Men" published in 1995. This book is considered by some MSOP students and graduates as a refutation of the fulfillment of Christ's coming and all Bible prophecy in A.D. 70. Rather, it contains contradictions, absurd arguments, blatant misrepresentations and omissions and fatal admissions that Covenant Eschatology is sound, biblical and correct. Today, a few of these points will be addressed.

Where are the dead per Matthew 8:11-12? Are they yet in Hades awaiting deliverance from the power of sin and death? Has Hades been destroyed? Who is the seed of Abraham? Many have tried to trace their DNA or lineage to Abraham so that they might be called the people or God. Today much fighting over land in Palestine exists because of people claiming to be the blood descendants of Abraham. Yet, by and large, they reject Jesus Christ. Others in America such as Hebrew Israelites also claim to be the blood descendants of Abraham. Another minor group, called Israel only claim the bloodline descendants from Abraham, or even from Adam, Cain and Abel are Israel or the fathers of Israel. Who are the real sons of Abraham? Who is Israel?
In discussions regarding the kingdom, the Bible says it has no end. Several see the kingdom of God as coming to an end at the very time it reaches the full expression of its reign. In other words, it makes no time to participate in the glory resulting from it's defeat of the nations.
Some of this confusion centers on the word "end" as used in several Scriptures. To some, the end means that everything teminates, ceases at that point and does not go a inch further. We will see that this claim is not based solidly upon Scripture.

The earnest of the Spirit is a key factor in understanding the resurrection the eschatological resurrection. The meaning and nature of the earnest of the Spirit, also called the guarantee is what insured the saints against nakedness, i.e. bodiless state at the parousia. Resurrection is connected to the parousia and the Spirit had an active part in accomplishing that resurrection. Today's message focuses on the role of the Spirit in resurrection.
The role of the Holy Spirit is often overlooked or minimized in the discussion of the resurrection body. The outpouring of the Spirit on the day of Pentecost in fulfillment of the prophecy of Joel is a critical key to unlocking the mystery of the resurrection motif taught in Scripture. The future physical body resurrection cannot harmonize with the first century work of the Spirit. Neither can an ongoing earnest of the Spirit fulfill the demands of sound exegesis on the subject. The controversy over the meaning of the resurrection of the end times is intense. The controversy is three-fold for the most part between futurists who argue for a resurrection of the physical body from the dirt.
Secondly, those who are full preterists who view a completed resurrection/rapture in the first century in 70AD and an individual bodily resurrection at the death of every single believer. This is referred to as the IBD (individual body at death) view.
Finally, the corporate body view (abbreviated CBV) which sees the resurrection as completed in the covenant body of Christ, where all invidual believers are clothed with Christ's covenant body.
Today, we provide more evidence for the resurrection and answer objections based on the views we consider erroneous.
In today's study we continue an examination of 2 Corinthians 5:1-10, but particularly will focus on verses 2-4. These verse specifically address the covenantal clothing of the saints. Our message is Are You Properly Dressed? It is necessary to wear the clothing of God to prevent nakedness in his sight. In the book of Revelation Jesus spoke of those who would walk naked where others would see their shame. This is not about shopping at your local department store or mail order catalogue for your latest fashion. Are you properly dressed in the clothing of God.
From the Body of Moses to the Body of Christ is the focus of our study of the resurrection in 2 Corinthians chapter five. We have worked through chapters 3-4 and continue the analysis of chapter 5. The background context for the resurrection in today's study are Ezekiel chapters 36-37 in the main. All the contextual elements are found in those two chapters that form the basis of the dicussion in chapters 3-7;1 of 2 Corinthians. We continue our studies of the resurrection. Today we view the opposite side of the equation as we examine the "life of Jesus" and the idea of it being manifested in the mortal body. What is the mortal flesh and moral body of 2 Cor. 4:10-12. Many would view it as the biological body of man, that is our natural human flesh. We will build on some of the concepts explored in previous lessons as we connect the dots related to the theme of the life in Christ.
What is the outward man of 2 Corinthians 4:16? Is it the physical body or the earthly tabernacle? Today we examine the view in the light of scripture and research. Many have chosen to follow the path of a physical body view for 2 Corinthians 5. This leads to all sorts of errors and complications in interpreting the text. However, when understood in teh light of temple typology it becomes very easy to navigate through the subject without contradictions.
What is the House Not Made With Hands of Second Corinthians 5? Today's study will focus on part 3 of "Clothed With The House From Heaven". There are more concepts to be explored and to bring to the attention of the reader and students of this text. Often it is given such a cursory gloss that it fades into the background study of the resurrection when it deserves a more prominent position in resurrection studies.

In 2 Corinthians 5, we continue the study of the resurrection from the earthly versus the heavenly house motifs. In this push and pull tension, we also have the element of the Divine Warrior. Why? It's because we have implied in this text, the arch enemy of God who must be defeated. A certain genre of language revolves around the concept of shame and nakedness that also relates to the resurrection theme. These we cover in today's broadcast.
2 Corinthians Chapter 5 is is an intriguing study of the resurrection. Many believe it is the resurrection of the physical body. Can this interpretation be sustained from the text and context? Is it possible that we have ignored vital parts of Scripture to arrive at the Westernized view of resurrection versus seeking the Hebraic mindset found in the BIble? This is one of the most under-represented paradigms in the discussion of the end-timess. Is the millennium of a literal 1000 years taught in Matthew 17:1-13, in the vision recorded of the Transfiguration. Some have claimed this refers to the Millennium of a literal 1000 years reign of Christ on earth. Can this view be supported from the Scriptures? In a series of presentations last week on the DebateTalk4u platform, this view was advanced. It was cited as a reason to oppose the Preterist view of fulfilled prophecy. Today we look specifically at the Transfiguration in Matthew 17.
In this broadcast we will discuss how the Pre-Trib Rapture teaching was surrendered with a single verse of Scripture. In that view, several comings of Christ are taught. After the alleged seven year tribulation, Christ comes to reign on earth for a literal 1000 years. This is the millennium, so called. After this Christ returns to heaven, so he can rain down fire from heaven to devour his enemies. After this he returns a final time for the destruction of Satan and the final judgment. We explore the ramifications of these positions and the trouble it causes for the Rapture teachers.
A few days ago many were saying that September 23-25, 2017 were prophetically significant. They believed a Rapture would occur and that Planet X or Niburu would come crashing into planet earth. Much of this is based upon and Analysis of Revelation 12. This chapter is believed to be represented by movements in the stars, particularly of Virgo, Leo, and Jupiter. Some how Jupiter becomes a child and moves through the womb of Virgo, the virgin which is supposedly a sign that the Rapture would occur.
Does Amillennialism truly have and end of time doctrine? It is claimed that they do, but in the light of the Scriptures this does not seem to be the case. In this discussion we will show how many of the things claimed to have an end do not end or continue beyond the time they allegedly claim is the end of time. This is true for the salvation, time, the earth, the nations etc.
Resurrection in Revelation 20:4-6 is an intriguing topic of study? Does it fall within the parameters of the Law and the Prophets? Can it refer to a time outside of the fulfillment of all things written. When was the law fulfilled? This continues to be a major hurdle for many especially some Amillennialists in the churches of Christ. They have invested heavily in the doctrine that the Law was completely done away at the cross. Yet, they encounter problems with their eschatology which is taught in the Law and the Prophets. But not only do they do so, the Pre-Mid and Post Tribulation theorists have similar issues of grappling with the fulfillment of all things spoken by the words of all the holy Prophets. When Was the Law Fulfilled? A Focus on Resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15:54-55 serves as the foireground text for the prophetic passage in the Law. As Paul taught his gospel was nothing but the fulfillment of all things which Moses and the Prophets said would come. His accusers could not prevail in their claim that he taught anything contrary to the Law and the Prophets. That includes his resurrection teaching. The judgment is a very emotional subject that really gets people's fears and anxiety stirring. Oftentimes it's hard for many to look at the judgment in any rational way. This occurs when discussing the subject or attempting to discuss it. But, in addition to healthy emotion, logic must be used also. We should ensure that we are giving solid answers when speaking about the judgment. In today's lesson you will hear several texts that are often cited with high emotion and where logic gets lost. When was the Law Fulfilled? According to the Scriptures neither the Law nor the Prophets could be fulfiled until heaven and eath passed or till all were fulfilled. This is another way of saying the Law could not pass until the judgment which it predicted occurred. One of the major fallacies made by futurists, is that they advocate a yet future judgment, seemingly oblivious to the fact that they are quoting the Old Testament as proof for there assertions. The logical conclusion is the the Old Covenant has yet to be fulfilled.

This is a previously recorded broadcast from video format. There are some men who claim to be proponents of unity and truth on the subject of eschatology. Yet their views are as diverse as they come. The only point they agree on is a teaching that is not even in the Bible, namely, that it teaches the "end of time". This concept cannot be found in Scripture. Today, controversy continues over what the Bible teaches on the end times. Some claim that the Bible teaches the end of time. Yet, they offer no support for that view. We content that the Bible teache the "time of the end". See Daniel 12:4. There is a vast difference. The time of the end occurred in connection with the fall of Jerusalem in 70AD, when the Lord came in judgment upon the Jewish nation and the inhabited world. You'll find these quotes interesting where men are unable to come to a consensus on the meaning of certain passages.

The millennial debate continues over when does it begin? When does it end? How long is the duration indicated for the millennium? In our previous lesson, we critiqued comments by Milton S. Terry in his books, Biblical Apocalyptics and Biblical Hermeneutics. Seeing that Terry's conclusions were not supportive of his assertions, we have more questions to come in regarding the millennium. In this lesson we discuss some statements made by Milton S. Terry, who authored very popular works on Biblical Hermeneutics and Biblical Apocalyptics. In the latter book, Dr. Terry took the view that millennium began in 70 AD with the judgment of the great harlot. He also stated it would continue for millions of years. Thus, some who have read his works use them as an objection against the preterist view of a short millennium or the time leading up to 70AD. Claims are made that the sacrifices of the Levitical system ceased in their validity and efficacy at Jesus' death. However, this is not the picture we read in the Gospels, the epistles or Revelation. For whom did Christ die, for Israel only or for the circumcision and uncircumcision, i.e. Jews and Gentiles? Many are teaching that salvation was for the nation of Israel only and that only those who are of the nation of Israel can be saved. There are several problems with this view. First, there is no nation of Israel today. Those who claim the land are not the Israelites of the Bible. Those who claim the culture and ethnic heritage of Israel have no land or government. They have turned the gospel backwards and now seek to enslave believers under an abrogated law that has long ago served its purpose.
This past weekend, last Friday, we had a discussion with Captain Tazaryach of ISUPK (Israel School of Practical Knowledge) located in Harlem, NY. That discussion can be seen at BlackNews 102. Mr. Tazaryach took the position that the covenant promise began with Abraham and that for those outside of that promise, i.e. the righteous who predated it, must be reincarnated and become a part of Israel. While he did not fully elaborate on this doctrine, we suggest it is foreign to the BIble. In today's lesson, we examine some of his statements. This will be a continuation study.
On the past Friday, after a presentation on the coming of the Lord in 70AD, Captain Tazaryach and a random audience were allowed to ask question on an off topic of the material presented. It was Captain Tazaryach's purpose to demonstrate the fallacy of reasoning and argumentation in my presentation. Jesus' teaching on Gehenna (translated hell) in the New Testament is a subject of great concern. There are twelve passages used by Christ on the topic of Gehenna (hell). This word has a history in the Old Testament which offers excellent clues to how we should understand it in the new. Does this word mean eternal conscous torment? Is that how the listeners of the first century understood the term when they heard it? Particular attention will be given to Matthew 10:28 and Luke 12:4-5. Does these verses teach that man has an immortal soul? The doctrine of an immortal soul is intricately woven into the common beliefs about hell.

In our previous two lessons, we examined the doctrine of final punishment and the nature of man? We answered the question of man's origin, i.e. was he created mortal or immortal. We demonstrated that immortality is a Divine quality of God alone, and it is he alone who bestows that gift. Those who are Christ's receive immortality. The time of the granting of the gift was the parousia or coming of the Lord not the creation. Today, we examine the word eternal, the Greek adjective aionios to determine whether it supports an eternal punishing in man in hell forever.

Some Christians, i.e. those who claim to be followers of Christ have been mesmerized by the claims of authenticity by the Hebrew Israelites. Most of these Christians are not well-versed in the Scriptures. They fall prey to emotional arguments, hype and cultural influences. In addition, some of the people who are defecting from Christianity fell justified in abandoning Christ because of the abuses found in many Christian churches. They reason, that they should throw out the baby with the bath water. In today's study, we examine several of the baseless arguments made by Hebrew Israelites that catch the uninformed in their hype.
When the subject of the resurrection comes up, many cite Matthew 27:52 as an example and proof of the resurrection. Some call it the firstfruits resurrection. One of the reasons it is strongly suggested is because it speaks of the bodies of the saints who slept coming out of tombs. This seems to support the argument of futurists that the resurrection involves boidies or dead corpses coming out of the ground. Today we will survey the text to see if such a vew can be Scripturally supported.
Does the resurrection view of futurists split the body, the soul and the eschaton? We are told that the salvation of man from sin occurred completely when he was baptized per Romans 6, during the time before the Parousia occurred. It is important to note this timing because during the transition and transformation from the Old Covenant to the new, salvation had to be and was being perfected.
This explains what appears to be "dualism" between the salvation and redemption of the body and soul, with the beginning in the death of Christ through baptism, and the consummation at the parousia. These are not two different souls and two different bodies, but one undergoing transformation as a worm transforms into a butterfly over the process of time.
Today's message will focus on that transformation process while examining the inconsistencies and contradictions of the futurist paradigm which reverses the order of salvation in Scripture.

Deuteronomy 32:35 is a key text used by some to elasticize the time of last days prophecy. They look for ways to circumvent the simplicity of the time statments which mention that the Lord's coming was at hand in the New Testament. their goal is to construe O.T. passages in such a manner that the word At Hand loses all its temporal function for an event which would take place in a very short time.
Much controversy exists over the meaning of the term at hand. Does this term mean imminent, soon and about to come to pass? Or, does it mean something far, far away? Can it stretch for centuries and yet be considered at hand? Can it mean at hand and not at hand at the same time?
How is a text to be interpreted? Can we truly find the meaning of the text by the mere words without considering the context? Does this do justice to the word of God? Some are claiming this is the case. They believe "at hand" is elastic and can cover centuries. One prophecy offered is Isaiah 13 and the fall of Babylon by the Medes and Persians in the 6th century B.C. If Isaiah prophesied this around 740 to 700 BC, then it's almost 200 years for the fulfillment.

In part two of our study on the Sabbath of Hebrews 4, a deeper look at the Sabbath in foreshadowing the rest of God will be discussed. How does the weekly Sabbath typify the eternal rest? Are we required to keep the weekly Sabbath? What is the signifances of the rest which it foreshadowed and what does it all mean? Hebews gives excellent insights into the divine purpose of the weekly Sabbath in association with time and the temple of God.
The Sabbath Rest of Hebrews 4 demonstrates the end of the weekly Sabbath. Hebrews develops the Sabbath rest as much more comprehensive than the weekly observance of the Sabbath. What we see is the antetype and somewhat of a combining of aspects from the weekly Sabbath but even more. By focusing initially on God's rest in Genesis, the nature and scope of this rest is demonstrated as having nothing to do with bondage and rest from human oppression as such. This is an intriguing point in the study of the Sabbath.
Today's study will focus on a few key words used in Matthew 5:18 that are the subject of much debate. Some believe they teach a part of the Law was fulfilled while others believe and teach they refer to the Law and the Prophets. In this study we examine the evidence and draw conclusions based upon the immediate and overall context. Since we are told that unless the whole law is kept we are fallen from grace, and since the Law was expected to pass it is important to study and understand the issues.
Matthew 5:18 is the source of much debate on the end of the Law by Amillennialists, Hebrew Isralites and more. A chief point of contention is the interpretation of Matthew 5:17-18. Some of the arguments center on word studies, i.e. "come to pass" and "to fulfill. Today, we will look at the words behind this debate, on both ginetai and pleroo. In addition, we consider some additional poiints which are raised that also are germane to teh discussion. Tune in for a great study.
The Law Prophesied. Scripture clearly affrims this. The eschatologial implications are significant. Not until all prophecy is fulfilled could the Law pass. Jesus said, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfilled. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. (Matt. 5:18-19).

Matthew 5:19 teaches that the Law could not Pass until it was all fulfilled. One jot or one tittle would not pass until all were fulfilled in the Law and in the Prophets. Yet, those who claim to keep the Law have both the Law and the Prophets continuing while claiming that the sacrifices in the Law have ceased. In fact, they claim that only the sacrifices were to cease and that before heaven and earth passed. We see in this a huge contradiction of Matthew 5:18 and an outright denial of the Bible.
Matthew 5:18 teaches that the Law would be fulfilled when heaven and earth passed. For many, heaven and earth means the material universe. Paul speaks of Christ as the Last Adam. In this he shows the relationship of Christ to all humanity, connecting him with Adam through Israel who is the personification of Adam. It is in the last Adam where man finally reaches his destiny for good or bad. Dying and rising with Christ must be seen in the light of Jesus as the last Adam. It is here where the body of Christ begins in the body of his flesh, dying with him and rising in that process for the purpose of receiving life.
One of Paul's main themes is the body of Christ. To understand Paul and his teaching on the body we must understand his mission to the Gentiles. In Paul's mission to the Gentiles, they become fellowheirs with the remnant of Israel. By showing the election of the Gentiles, Paul is demonstrating how those who were not a people become the peoiple of God. He is also showing how those under the Law were not a people and became such through Christ.
What is the relationship of Paul's ministry to the restraining power in 2 Therssalonians. Also what reaction did the unbelieving Jews have to the gift of charity from the Gentiles? Find the answers to these questions and more as we explore Paul's Gentile Mission in Israel's last days.

We began a study of the dying and rising with Christ in Romans 7 by introducing Paul's ministry to the Gentiles. Our purpose is to show that Paul, even in speaking to Gentiles, never left the Jewish roots of his gospel which are the O.T. Scriptures, i.e. the Law and the Prophets. Paul's mission to the Gentiles is that salvation is of the Jews. He is found in a v ery unique historical position in the working out of his minsitry among the Gentiles which cannot be duplicated today. This becomes the basis of his soteriology and his eschatology which leads specifically to his doctrine of the resurrection of the dead.
Romans 7 is a deep and intriguing discussion of the dying and rising with Christ. Paul discusses what it means to die to the law through the body of Christ. It is a dying to the flesh. This shows the relationship of those in flesh who must diie to it with Christ in order to be raised from the dead. Resurrecition allows them to be married to another, even to him who raised them from the dead.

In a rather interesting turn of events during the debate with Brother Josh of Absolute Bible Truth Ministries, the pressure of the time statements in the New Testament compelled Josh to say something about them. Rather than addressing those statements in the New Testament, he chose to find an Old Testament passage which he believed or at least attempted to use as a refutation of Jesus' imminent coming taught in the New Testament.
It was an ingenious argument that was based on a lack of evidence. It was an attempt to play on the ignorance of the audience. However, it backfired on brother Josh and once it was answered it was never brought up again. Today's lesson will delved into the subject a bit more thoroughly.
In a recent debate between William Bell of AllThingsFulfilled and Brother Josh of Absolute Bible Truth, a discussion on whether all Bible prophecy was fulfilled occurred. We submitted evidence that the coming of the Lord was imminent, soon to occur and coming in a very little while from the perpsective of the N.T. writers. In a counter argument, Brother Josh offered the sign of the antichrists as evidence that the coming was yet future and coming in our lifetime as opposed to those who lived in the first century. Today, we will look at a brief analysis of the two positions.
Today, we will examine Matthew 24 and Revelation 19. Some believe this both or one of the texts refer to a yet future return of Christ. We will demonstrate the correlations in both chapters to prove they are speaking of one and the same event. There is no dichotomy between the coming in Matthew 24, fulfilled in 70AD and the Book of Revelation.

In the previous lessons we discussed Hababbuk, chapters 1 and 2, to demonstrate how they were fulfilled historically and eschatologically. Today we examine Haggai 2:6-8 to see again how the prophets applied the text and how the Apostles applied the text in the last days. Each of these examples provide insights for the imminent return of Christ in the first century. Haggai prophesied of a temple that would exceed the glory of the first temple (Solomon's) and clearly Zerubbabel's temple fell short of that goal.
2 Timothy 4:1 breaks down the constituent elements of eschatology but shows very clearly the resurrection of the dead was soon to occur.
Yesterday, Wednesday November 16, 2016, we began a study on Habakkuk 1:5-6. One of the reasons for doing this study is to address the critics of Covenant Eschatology who attempt to cite O.T. prophecies involved in historical Israel as yet to be fulfilled prophecy. Our aim is to show, that where any further mention of that prophecy along with an application for the time of the end is mentioned, it has been fulfilled. When the apostles cite particular texts from the O.T. and apply them to their eschatological motif, they demonstrate the ultimate and final fulfillment of the prophecy.
One of the amazing studies in the N.T. is the Wrath of God. This study clearly shows the unbelieving Jews of the N.T. as the objects of God's wrath and the protection of the Christians (belleving Jews and Gentiles) who were saved from that wrath. The Study of God's wrath shows there is no possibility that it can be extrapolated from a first century context. In today's study, we will examine the wrath of God.

How should we understand the land promise of the Bible given to us in Christ. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth, Matthew 5:5. Is this the physical land promise? Is this the one hope? What are the ramifications of the one hope of the gospel for the land promise made to Israel. Did 1948 fulfill this promise?
The inheritance of the kingdom is the one hope of the gospel. James spoke of being heirs of the kingdom, Jas. 2:5, and the Lord promised the saints they would inherit the kingdom, Matt. 25:34. That means the kingdom is their hope. This can plainly be seen from 1 Corinthians 15:50 where the kingdom is made the equivalent of the resurrection hope. The kingdom must likewise be understood as the hope of righteousness and is a vital part of the multi-faceted hope of which we have spoken.

Today's study will delve into Ephesians chapters 1, 2, and 6 to discuss the age laid out in the Epistles of Paul. The meaning of the end of the world or age is often hidden through mistranslations and traditional applications of Scripture largely based in futurism. The true meaning of end of the age is rarely understood. Yet, the Lord and the Apostles spoke of it in connection with the fall of the temple in 70 AD. From where do we get the modern idea that the geo-physical world is ending? It is not from the Bible but from erroneous concepts passed down from men.
In which age do Christians live today. Most would call it the present evil age. They will take cues from the evil they see around them and then ascribe that to the age in which we live. This is a bad reflection on the work of Christ. The age in the Bible called the present age is the age of the Moses, which was ruled by sin and death. Are we yet under the age of sin and death, under the power of Moses?
Today we reach the final of 10 Countdown signs by John Hagee. He has given us his roadsigns to the end. However, instead of the the end of the world, these signs have left his philosophy on the sign of the road. As we conclude today, we demonstrate there is not one truth in the premises he gave that support the conclusion of an imminent end of the world. We have reached number 9 in the examination and analysis of the 10 Countdown Road Signs to the Final End per John Hagee. Are these truly signs of an imminent end? According to the Scriptures, there are earthquakes which were signs of the end, but what are the conditions for those earthquakes.
According to Matthew 24:6-8 there would be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places as a sign of the terminal generation coming to an end. Again, the Biblical and early historical references are overlooked to teach a futuristic theory. We examine the evidence and source to demonstrate that Jesus drew his prophetic utterances in the gospels from the Law and the :Prophets. All N.T. eschatology is a reiteration of what was written in the Law and in the Prophets.
We have now progressed to sign number seven in the series reviewing John Hagee's 10 Signs of the Final End Are We The Terminal Generation. In this episode we cover the Days of Deception. This is the sign that many would be deceived in the last days. Hagee cites the examples given by the Lord in Matthew as the evidence that such signs exist today as a precursor to an imminent return of Christ. We examine this sign in the light of Scripture and the proper contextual setting.
Today is a continuation of the study of the 10 Roadsigns to the Final End by John Hagee. These are the signs that supposedly point to an imminent coming of the Lord in our time. He has offered many attempts to prove this conjecture since he published the book, "Beginning of the End, The Assination of Yizhak Rabin and the Coming Antichrist. But not of his trees have produced any fruit regarding the end times. Thus, he changes to a new theme and new set of prophecies each year.
John Hagee's fifth sign which he claims leads to the Countdown to the Final End is the fulfillment of the prophecy, the times of the Gentiles, in Luke 21:20-24. According to John Hagee, the Gentiles are yet the rulers of the world. His claim is that one day Jerusalem will no longer be under Gentile rule. However, Hagee claims that dominion continued until the six day war in 1967. Thus Jerusalem is no longer trodden down by Gentiles or ruled by them but by Jews! Why weren't all things fulfilled in 1967? More problems for Hagee's Countdown.
On last week we began a series on the 10 Roadsigns to the End, Are We the Terminal Generation where John Hagee has written 10 signs which he claims are the events that lead to an imminent end. He is yet today teaching that the end is about to happen and has been doing so for decades and nothing happens.
Today we look at the promise to enter the land. Is it with or wiothout the Messiah. We will demonstrate that 1948 has nothing to do with the land promise of the Bible.
John Hagee claims the nation of Israel and by that he means the current Jewish settlement in Palestine is the only nation created by a sovereign act of God. In this, he has confused the current settlement of the Israelis in Palestine with the ancient people of the Bible. But he has also shown his bias for Zionism over the true nation which now exists in the Scriptures. We will cover that subject today.

Accoding to John Hagee's Book, Beginning of the End, The Assassination of Yitzhak Rabin and the Coming Antichrist, he lists 10 reasons why our generation will see Christ's return. We examine these 10 reasons in the light of the Bible to see if this countdown to the end is correct. What we find are glaring contradictions and missapplications of Scriptures by John Hagee. Hebrew Israelites are recognizing they have some serious problems with their interpretation of Deuteronomy 28:68. It is a very fatalistic interpretation that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy of defeat and despair. It leads to fighting against God to alter the effects of their interpretation of the prophecy. How can one claim it is a divine edict and at the same time try to resist it?
Today, we show why the prophecy in Deut. 28:68 is fulfilled and cannot possibly refer to the TransAtlantic slave trade. It is time to decide if you want to be a part of the remnant or the reprobates.
A direct result of the fulfillment of all Bible prophecy is the gift of eternal life as a present blessing of the saved. Yet many Christians and others do not believe that eternal life is a reality. They view it as a hope. Why? It's becasue they continue to project the return of Christ as a yet to be fulfilled Bible prophecy. They fail to properly read and exegete Bible texts and turn the assurance of God's word as a fulfilled blessing into a deferred hope.
A continuation of our study on the Last Days will demonstrate the manner in which Last Days is used in the Bible. In none of the examples has it every been used for an example of the end of time. Yet, this is paradim is the view of the masses. When the Bible defines the last days, it does so in a time frame consistent with the generation to whom the prophecy was originally given.

Are We Living in the Last Days? Ask the average person on the street or in the churches and they will answer without hesitation yes we are. Then they will point to signs they believe are evidence of the last days. But, have we paid attention to what the Bible says and to the signs the BIble gives for the last days? What are the implications for us if we are not living in the last days? And, if not, then in what days do we live?
In almost every interview and presentation of the Hebrew Israelites, they cite Isaiah 14:1-2 as the prophecy to be fulfilled in the last days. Added to this is the concept that they will rule over Edomites who will be their servants.

Who do you follow the Remnant or Reprobates is an important question to ask the Hebrew Israelites. They cite a paradigm of slavery and curse by God. Most importantly we will discuss the paradigm of slavery for people living today and it's upcoming deliverance.
We want to examine this slavery preoccupation of the Hebrew Israelites and determine if we should follow it as a pattern for our faith. It's quite an accusation to claim that Black people are under a curse and slavery. We do understand economic disenfranchisement, Jim Crow and White Supremacy. However, claiming it is God's will and purpose are two horses of a different color.

Did every eye see the Lord coming in A.D. 70? A common objection to the return of Christ in the first century is the assertion that evey eye did not see that coming. By that, they mean they did not see it with their own eyes. This being true, the Lord could not have returned in the first century.

The central teaching of John, the Immerser and the Lord Jesus Christ was the kingdom of God. They taught that the kingdom of God was near. The Apostles taught that the kingdom of God began on Pentecost, and would be consummated at the Parousia. Many do not teach the kingdom of God. They teach a hope in the kingdom. They turn the kingdom now gospel into a kingdom yet future gospel and major in looking for a kingdom not taught in the Scriptures. Today's lesson will address these errors and show that the kingdom of God should be preached today as a reality.

Today, we will analyze the argument made by Dr. David Hester, of the East Parkside Church of Christ on 2 Corinthians 5:10-11. Dr. Hester asserted this text was a New Testament prophecy and thus offered it as proof for a yet future return of Christ. He never offered any proof that this was in fact a New Testament prophecy. He only made the claim.
The argument revealed Dr. Hester's lack of understanding of the basic principles of Biblical Prophecy, particularly end times prophecy. He also betrayed an ignorance of the Scriptures in general on judgment texts.
In this study we will demonstrate the fallacy of Dr. Hester's argument and show clearly the true interpretation of the text in its proper contextual setting. We will show the orgin of the text for 2 Cor. 5:10-11.

Today we will study in a brief overview the prophecy of Gog and Magog. Usually this prophecy is spoken of to mean Russia or some other European nation. However, we will see that to take a literal interpretation does violence to the text. Join us for the study.

We are continually told that Deuteronomy 28:68 is a reference to the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. However, there are some temporal problems which do not add up with the facts. First there is the problem of the "land Israel went to possess". Secondly, is the question of Egypt, literal or figurative. Thirdly, we must deal with the time frame set in the testimony for the last days of Israel in both the Old and the New Testament. These are the issues which are overlooked in the current paradigm.
On yesterday, we had a tremendous amount of interest in the study of Israel's last days. Many questions were submitted and we engaged in a real time response to those questions. Much is said abbout Deuteronomy 28 and the curses upon Israel but not much is said about the end of Israel. We are led to believe that the curses are just one additional event in a long series of curses that Israel faces. For almost 2000 years there has been no revelation, no judgment, no prophet, no oracle from God. Why is this? The claim by Hebrew Israelites continues to be a point of contention and debate about which enslavement is mentioned in Deuteronomy 28:68. Since resurrection was the hope, it is important to understand the statement in Romans 8:24. "For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?

On Sunday afternoon, I was invited to a live forum where Hebrew Israelites would ask questions about the Preterist view for about 3 hours. If you've been told by mostly honest but ill-informed preachers that one day your body will be raised out of the ground, you have been grossly mislead. Physical resurrection while taught in the Bible, is not the "eschatological" or "end times" resurrection for believers.
The resurrection spoken of for believers in the N.T. is called the "out resurrection" or the resurrection out from among the dead ones. It is a very unique term used in the Bible that made those who originally heard of very angry and upset. Are there two separate laws for two people joined together in Christ? If we study the New Testament, we will notice that clearly one group of believers are excluded when the question of keeping the law came up. Yet, they are joined together with the remnant in Christ. How can we account for one group keeping the law and circumcision and the other not.
Daniel's prophecy are hotly contested in time of writing and fulfillment. One school of thought holds these prophecies to be fulfilled in the second century in the period of the Maccabees. It is believed that the desecration of the Temple by Antiochus Epiphanes fulfills the vision.
On the other hand, there are those who believe that the prophecy is fulfilled in the time of the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD. Today we will examine these views in the light of the Scriptures and some historical evidence.

Today we examine the resurrection in the New Testament focusing mainly on the dying and rising with Christ. Msany believe the Bible teaches two types of resurrection, one spiritual now, one physical later.
Our aim is to demonstrate that it is not two different resurrections but two parts of a whole view from different perspectives or time frames. The out resurrection is clearly one that had begun but at the time of writing the epistle where it is found, it was not fulfilled or complete.
What does 1 Corinthians 15 teach about the resurrection? How could this text be fulfilled in 70AD?
Has the great tribulation occurred already or is it yet to come? Why is there so much controversy around what appears to be a very simple subject in the Bible. Jeremiah's prophecy of the time of Jacob's trouble and Daniel's great tribulation dove-tail in Matthew 24.
The answer to this question has quite and impact on the time of writing and the fulfilment of the book of Revelation. If it can be proven that the great tribulation has occurred in the past, it would also mean that the book of Revelation was not only written before 70AD, but was also fulfilled in that event.

This is the common fallacy of using "subjective hermeneutics". In other words, the person attempts to prove or disprove a Bible topic using their own personal experience. Yet, the Scriptures tell us that all things must be proven by the word of God.
Almost every time someone objects to Christ's first century return, they use subjective hermeneutics, i.e. something either they didn't see or experience. According to Stephen Sizer's Book, Christian Zionism, Ronald Reagan's Dispensationalist views affected his political outlook. "In 1986, when tensions grew between the US and Libya, James Mills, by then President pro tem of the California State Senate, claimed Reagan expressed strong animosity towards Libya because he saw it as 'one of the prophesied enemies of Israel and therefore an enemy of God's. Mills noted the logical consequences of Reagan's pessimistic and deterministic dispensational presuppositions for American politics:
"Certainly his attitudes relative to military spending, and his coolness to all proposals for nuclear disarmanent, are consistent with such apocalyptic views...Armageddon, as foreseen in the books of Ezekiel and Revelation, cannot take place in a world that has been disarmed...It is contrary to God's plan as set forth in his word...The Presidents's domestic and monetary policies, too, are in harmony with a literal interpretation of the biblical prophecies. There is no room to get wrought up about the national debt if God is soon going to foreclose on the whole world. ..Why be concerned about conservation? Why waste time and money preserving things for future generations when everything is going to come to a fiery end with this one? ...It follows, that all domestic programs, espcially those that entail capital outlay, can and should be curtailed to free up money to finance the development of nuclear weapons....

According to DIspensationalists, three passages are cited for the teaching of the Rapture doctrine. In todays broadcast we will survey the passages and examine them from a Bible perspective.
The relationship of Political Zionism and John Darby's dispensationalism was being developed from the very beginning. Darby began his millennial teachings in 1830 in England. He traveled to the U.S. holding seminars and evangelistic conferences in 1870. In the U.S. he met Charles Moody who formed the Moody Bible Institute. Here, the dogma of dispensationalism spread even further.
Morgan Edwards (1722-1795) preceded John Darby by about 40-50 years. He offered a millennial system well before the Roman Jesuit, Manuel Lacunza (1731-1801) offered his 1790 document under the pseudonum, Ben-Ezra (Manuel De Lacunza Y Diaz, which is the apparent basis of modern millennialism. (Death of the Church Victorius, by Ovid Need, Jr., p. 7)
In 1788, Edwards began to lecture throughout the Middle Colonies on two of his writings, titled: Millennium and Last-Novelties. His millennial ideas were based upon taking Scripture sliterally, except when such understanding leads to contradictions or absurdity.
Edwards also exalted a restored Jewish nation over a the Blood-Bought Church, a veiew that was not new. Already in the air, he may have simply offered the old Jewish hope. Many years before Edwards, Trapp said concerning Isaiah 11:11, shall set his hand again a second time. Thus, these doctrines were taught by Trapp, then by Edwards, then Lacunza and popularized by John Darby.
Dispensational Premillennialism began in the 1830's in England among the Plymouth Brethren. It was popularized by John Nelson Darby. Darby introduced Dispensational millennialism to America in 1870. During those times Zionists were formulating plans for the hostile takeover of Palestine, although early attempts had failed. Somehow and in some way, American Dispensationalism and Zionism marry through the efforts of Samuel Untemeyer and C.I. Scofied. The Scofield Reference Bible, a pro-Zionist Bible, published in 1909 served to promote the interests of the Zionist quest to take over Palestine. The Scofield Reference Bible, published by the Oxford University, was heavily promoted to Christian churches and pastors in order through the doctrine of the Rapture. It's covert mission was the support of the acquisition of land through the support of Christian Zionists who favored the so-called Bible view of Israel's prophetic destiny. With the advent of the popular Left Behind books and movies by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins, and organizations like CUFI (Christians United For Israel) led by John Hagee, the average Christian ZIonists have no clue where or how the doctrine became rooted in the Christian churches. Revelatoin 9:1-11 describes the locusts of the Apocalypse who launch an attack on a class of men. In an attempt to respond to the imminence statements in the beginning, (Rev. 1:1-3) middle (Rev. 12:12) and end of the book of Revelation (Rev. 22:6, 10, 12), we were told by the futurists that Revelation could not be fulfilled in the first century because their were no military aircraft such as those in chapter 9 in the first century.
This is the argument advanced by the Dispensationalists and others in the past. Did Jesus include this in his statement of of all things being fulfilled before that generation passed?Explain how there is no killing in Jerusalem in light of the massacre which occurred in 70AD by the Romans?
Matthew 16:27-28 is a prophecy of the Lord that is denied when futurists speak about the non-presence of the kingdom. We want to discuss the text to help others understand what the problem is that futurists are having with this passage.
Why do they deny the kingdom when the Lord spoke of the kingdom arriving before some died? Can they prove these people are yet alive and walking on earth today? Also, what is the source of this text. Is it a new prophecy or does the Lord quote from the Old Testament?
What other events are included in Matthew 16:27-28? How does the fulfillment of these verses impact the fulfillment of the book of Revelation? Can a period of 1000 years be inserted between verse 27-28?
Isaiah 11:9 prophesied of the Holy Mountain of God. The prophecy is directly related to the last days. During this time, the earth would be full of the knowledge of the Lord. In other for that to occur, the knowledge would have to be taken to the world.
Did the apostles fulfill the words of the prophets and the commandment of the Lord in taking the gospel to all the nations? In t his broadcast we will demonstrate that the holy mountain is Zion and that the word of the Lord has gone forth from Zion and filled the earth as the waters cover the sea. We will demonstrate this occurred within the first century generation.
Since this is a constituent element of Isaiah 11, it serves to demonstrate that when this occurs, Isaiah 11 is fuflilled within the same generation. We encourage the audience to reveiw Habakkuk 2:14 and Isaiah 2:2-4; Daniel 12:4 in preparation for the broadcast.
If Two-Thirds of Israel Are Destroyed, The Remnant Is All That Is Left
When we discuss the gathering of Israel for the second time, it is clear that the prophets spoke of the salvation of the remnant. Why is this? It is because they likewise spoke of two-thirds of the nation would be destroyed. That means the entire nation would not be gathered or saved. According to Zechariah, the majority of the nation would be "cut off". This harmonizes with the teaching of Christ that "few" would be saved.
"ANd it shall come to pass in all the land," says the Lord, that two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, but one-third shall be left in it: I will bring the one-third through teh fire, will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people'; and each one will say, 'The LORD is my God.'" (Zech. 13:8-9).
Why Is There A Problem With The Salvation of Israel?
Does not the prophet make it clear that two-thirds of the nation will be cutt-off and die? Compare this message with Christ's teaching concerning the Branch. "If anyone does not abide in me, he is cast out as a brnach and is withered; and they geather them and thwow them into the fire, and they are burned." (Jn. 15:6)
Joel prophesied that in the last days, God would save a remnant of Israel. Joel 2:32. In the N.T. the remnant is also called the elect. They had obtained the salvation the nation sought. Yet, because the nation rejected their Messiah, Jn. 1:11, he rejected those who refused to repent. However, he was faithful in bringing the one-third through the fire, refined as gold and saved in the time of the end. 1 Pet. 1:5-13.

Thomas was a doubter. The Lord satisfied his doubt by asking him to reach his finger and look at his hands and put his hand into his side and be not unbelieving but believing. He satisfied Thomas' doubt. Why? To give us testimony. Now, should we demand that we not believe the Lord until we feel his hands and his sides?
No, he said Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. Why do Bible believers say if they have not seen a thing with their own eyes they cannot believe? Why can they not believe the testimony of God?
Many events related to the Lord's return that are not visible to the natural eye. Should we reject them because we did not see them?
Is it Biblical to reject a kingdom we cannot see? Should we reject the coming of the Lord because we did not see it? Are we rejecting the historical proof the Lord gave to demonstrate that his return occurred?
This broadcast will show how God reveals Himself and his Divine acts to people who do not believe or who are slow of heart to believe all the prophets have spoken.

During the previous week, we discussed the Law of Moses and the change of that Law to the Law of Christ, i.e. the Gospel of Christ, based on Hebrews 7-10 and Romans 4. Todays' study will continue that discussion as we delve specifically into what constituted the Law of Moses, and its fulfillment.
Was it fulfilled partially as some futurists, Dominionists and Hebrew Israelites claim, or did The Most High fulfilled all of the law? What does he mean by the statement in Matthew 5:17-20?
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets, I did not come to destroy but to fulfil. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled." Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven."

In light of fulfilled Bible prophecy, we continue to receive questions about what happens in the kingdom age? What is the life that we live as a result of Christ having returned? A study of Matthew 25:44 in the light of the practical minstry of the body of Christ. Matthew 25 is often separated from Matthew 24.
However, several texts show the continuity of both chapters. In addition, Matthew 25 has three kingdom parables related to judgment.
The first is about preparation with the 10 virgins. The second is about stewardship. The last is about service. Each of the parables focus on a particular area, but all are kingdom parables.
As such, the time statements governing the kingdom, govern this text also. The laws of figurative or apocalyptic language should be understood when reading the chapter.

Today we will resume our focus on G.K. Beale and his Inaugeration of the resurrection, the new creation and the kingdom in the New Testament. So far we've noted that Beale has a dual concept of resurrection with the spiritual first and the physical later. This is a common paradigm for most futurists because they acknowledge the spiritual salvation/resurrection in Scripture.
However, the above concept is problematic in that the Bible teaches very emphatically that the spiritual is NOT first, but the natural, then the spiritual. Thus, Beale, along with many futurists have the resurrection out of proper order and seem to have no solution for this delimma.

We are having some exciting studies on the "inaugeration of the resurrection, the new creation and the kingdom of God" a position advanced by G.K. Beale. He sees the resurrection of the end times, i.e. the eschatological resurrection as already having begun through Jesus Christ and the teachings of the apostles. But is an inaugeration of the resurrection sufficient to satisfy the language of the apostles in the N.T. who affirms the words of Christ's ministry?
These are the questions we raise in critiquing Beale's work. We also open the show for live questions and will continue the discussion from yesterday where we began answering questions about Acts 1:11 in relation to the coming of the Lord and the new creation.
We established that Jesus' words, "I AM the Resurrection and the Life are radical to the thinking and teaching of modern day Christians in the main. Yet, those are his very words which are glossed over and almost never understood. Resurrection is a person. How radical can that be to those whose focus is on body bags and dirt?

There is but one hope in the BIble. It is express in many different ways and concepts. The following are some ways in which that hope is expressed: Eternal life, Tit. 1:2Righteousness, Gal. 5:5Christ in you, Col. 1:27Resurrection, Acts 24:15; 26:6-8Likeness of the Son of God, 1 John 3:3-4Entering within the veil of the Most Holy These are a few ways in which the many-faceted hope is expressed. Beale refers to this as the diamond of the already-not yet, endtime. We agree with this assessment. However Beale does not go far enough in his analysis. It is not only the already but not yet, it is equally the altogether which immediately followed it. This, however is his dichotomony of the body, which he separates from the already but not yet of the gospel message.

Welcome to our study of the resurrection, new creation and the kingdom where we critique Greg Beale's work on the same. Key issues that drive the resurretion of Beale's paradigm is the time parameters he placed on the end time.
He argues for an end of history (time) scenario and asserts that the resurrection will be at the end of the age. Yet, Beale does a great job of connecting dots from the already but not yet in the New Testament.
Were we to grant that end of the age means the end of the Christian age, he might have a case. But it does not The implications for a resurrection of man's body at the end of the age, i.e. Jewish age is a posit Beale would not wish to defend.

G.K. Beale has written a massive volume, "A New Testament Biblical Theology" in which he discusses the Resurrection as Israel's hope and in its unfolding in the New Covenant Creation. In the next few weeks, we will examine Beale's view of the resurrection and determine how consistent he is with the text.
In the three chapters devoted to the subject in his book, he argues that the resurrection has already broken into the New Creation as the "already but not yet". However, Beale appears to have quite a bit of "not yet" remaining for his resurrection paradigm.
The reason for this remaining "not yet" is his emphasis on the biology of man. Yet, he acknowledges that in Jewish Old Testament resurrection centered on a restoration of Israel to their land from exile versus a reversal of bodiliy interment in the ground.Beale rightfully notes that the new creation, the the kingdom and the resurrection are the central themes of the New Testament.

We have shown that this is kingdom was God's purpose. It is the kingdom prepared from the foundation of the world, Matthew 25:34. Therefore, Yahweh never had an eternal purpose higher than the kingdom of the Messiah.
The intermediary kingdoms of man would come to an end. They were abberations from the very beginning. They represented rebellion from the Lord and a deviation from his Sovereign authority. He tolerated it for a time, then shut it down. Not until Christ came to rule in the realm of the Spirit would the kingdom be restored to Israel. There is no other king or kingdom anywhere spoken of in Scripture for any man who would ever rule upon earth again representing the tribes of Israel.
God made all believers kings and priests to reign with Christ upon his throne. That includes both David and Abraham.
The prophecies in the Old Testament clearly demonstrate that Jesus, the Christ is both the Messiah and the Seed of David's own body who would sit upon David's throne. Christ now occupies that throne as he reigns over all heaven and earith at the right hand of the Father.
Today, we examine the time and place of Jesus' birth as further fulfillment of the prophecies relating to the Messiah. In an upcoming book, Jesus, the Prophet Like Moses, The Second Exodus, we delve even deeper into the evidence for Christ as the Messiah and King who not only reigns on David's throne, but also who is the undisputed and incontrovertible Prophet like Moses.

Today we continue to answer the question of whether Messiah sits and rules upon the throne of David. In the previous lesson we demonstrated that the reign offf the Most High began at the creation of man and continued without interruption until the time of Samuel.
When Israel rejected the leadership of the sons of Samuel to his grief the nation asked for a king who was like all the nations around them. The thing displeased the Samuel and angered the Lord.
Yet he granted their wishes and warned them of the consequences of a human government. He stated that in so desiring a king on earth, they had rejected his Sovereign rule over them.
We also discussed the reign over David's throne would be by one who is both king and priest. Is this literal David. If so, if would require changes in the Levitical priesthood of which Moses spoke nothing concerning the tribe of Judah.

It is clear from the Old Covenant Scriptures, i.e. the Torah, that David would have a seed to sit upon his throne. Is this David himself or one who is a descendant of David? Is the heir to the throne of David the Messiah? How should we view the Scriptures in the Torah that speak of David who was to come? Were these prophecies of David himself or were they prophecies of Israel's Messiah?
Did David lead the people back into the land today known as Palestine? Are we looking at the Israel of the Bible who are the people of the Davidic king who was to come. Daniel 2:44-45 teaches that in the days of these kings, i.e.the fourth and dreadful beast of Daniel 7, the Messiah's kingdom would be setup. Most scholars and Bible expositors view this time to be the days of ancient Rome. This kingdom would never be destroyed. There is great controversy over the nature of this kingdom. However, the text gives us a clue. It is the stone cut out of the mountain without hands.
The phrase without hands means it is not made with the hands of man. Thus, it is a kingdom that is not built by man or ruled by the hands of man. Messiah himself is king over his kingdom.
Also, Messiah's kingdom is a priestly kingdom where he is a priest on his throne. Zech. 6;12-13 teaches "Then speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, saying: 'Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! from His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the temple of the LORD; Yes, He shall build the temple of the LORD He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne.
He is a king after the order of Melchizedek who was both king and priest, Psa. 110:4. In Hebrews Christ is said to be the High Priest seated in the heavens at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a minister of the true sanctuary which the Lord erected and not man. (Heb. 8:1-2)
This is the temple-throne prophesied in Zechariah 6:12-13 and Daniel 2:44-45. Note that it is erected by the Lord and not by man, . Any other temple, whether 3rd, 4th, or 5th, especially if built by man, is not the temple prophesied in Daniel 2:44, nor is it the temple of God.

Has the Messiah come? Zion Lexx and Preterists agree that the Messiah's kingdom would be set up during the days of the Roman Empire. The image of Daniel 2:31-45, is the metallic representative of the kingdoms of the world versus the kingdom of Go They are: BabylonMedo-PersiaGreeceRomeNational IsraelKingdom of Christ (Spiritual Israel) Since the Scriptures cannot be broken, an admission that the Messiah would come and set up his kingodm during the days of the Ancient Roman empire is fatal to the non-Messianic Hebrew Israelite paradigm. The reasons given so far are that allegedly, Israel did not receive her land, her temple, her redemption and her Messiah. We do not agree with this assessment and will present reason from the Scriptures to demonstrate the view that the Messiah has in fact come and set up his eternal kingdom. Recently, Zion Lexx was asked a question by Brother Pitt Boss, concerning the coming of the Messiah in Daniel 7. The question focused on the detail of the prophecy which placed the coming of the Messiah within the days of the 4th beast which is Rome. Mr. Lexx with the language of the text, that the 4th beast is Rome. He also agree that "logic" and sound reasoning would place the appearance of the Messiah within the time of ancient Rome.
So, we ask, since Mr. Zion Lexx, does not believe the Messiah has appeared, yet he does believe that the Messiah would appear during the days of the 4th beast which was ancient Rome, does he believe the Torah?

They are listed below: Temple had to be rebuilt.(?) Many who oppose Preterism (the teaching that all Bible Prophecy already has been fulfilled in 70AD (Lk. 21:20-22, 32) apply "The Great Tribulation" of Matthew 24:21 to 70AD and the destruction of Jerusalem.
This latter viewpoint is correct. However, what they do not realize is that the great tribulation is spoken of in the book of Revelation. This has great and profound significance for the timing and dating of the book of Revelation.
Actually, it should settle the question of the earlier versus the latter date. Of course, those who opt for the A.D. 96 date would never apply the book to 70 AD, since it speaks of future prophecy.
Nor, can we assign the meaning of the great tribulation to another period. We have dual testimony from John, the Apostle that the great tribulation was present. We will examine this evidence in the broadcast.
Understanding the significance of the above teachings we can help to remove the wool from off the eyes of the masses and stem the tide of the deception fostered upon them by some well-meaning and otherwise unscrupulous teachers.

In today's broadcast we examine the great tribulation as another sign the Lord gives leading up to the destruction of the temple in 70AD. Daniel shows that the great tribulation is inseparably linked to the resurrection of the just and the unjust, (Acts 24:14-15; Dan. 12:2-3).
By connecting the dots between the great tribulation and the resurrection, we have likewise idenfifed the time of the sounding of the last trumpet and the gathering of the elect. See Matthew 24:31, 1 Cor. 15:51-52; 1 Thess. 4:17; Rev. 10:7; 11:15-18.
In addition to the above, we have the testimonies of John, the Apostle, and the Holy Spirit that the church was in the great tribulation at the time the Apocalypse was written.
The Great Tribulation has been subjected to much discussion and controversy. Many believe that it is yet to come. Others say have multiple views about the great tribulation. Some believe the alleged Rapture will precede the great tribulation by 7 years, others by 3.5 years and others in which the saints will not experience the tribulation at all. Which of these are accurate? experience tribulation.
Are we to in fact experience a tribulation or a Rapture? How does a future Rapture and a future great tribulation align with the Lord's words in Matthew 24:34?
As the disciples saw the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, they were commanded to flee from the city of Jerusalem and the surrounding country of Judea. Many have acknowledged this flight as occurring within the first century generation. In fact, they cite it to distinguish between an alleged coming of the Lord and the past Roman invasion of Judea.
However, we suggest that there is an inseparable connection between the flight from the city and the day in which the Son of Man is revealed. Today's broadcast will provide the evidence that the revealing of the Son of Man occurs within the same time frame as the flight from the city of Jerusalem.

In Matthew 24 following the requirements for world evangelism in the first century, the next sign given to the Apostles was the sign of the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet. Some claim this event has not occurred. Others claim it has, yet they continue looking for a future coming of the Lord. What is the abomination of desolation and when was it fulfilled?
Is this the prophecy spoken of by Daniel? Some say no. What are the implications for this event being the subject of Old Testament prophecy? Why do modern futurist expositors refuse to accept the simple statements of the Lord regarding the time of the occurrence of these events? Since we have noticed in previous lessons that the time of the Mystery corresponds to the sounding of the 7th or last trumpet, Rev. 10:7 and 11:15-18, then the mystery of God, i.e. the union of Jew and Gentile occurs at the sounding of the last trumpet.
What then of the Scriptures which teach that before the gathering wouldd occur the gospel would be preached to all the world before the end would come? In fact, the gospel of Mark says the gospel "must" be preached, Mark 13:10?
Has the gospel in fact been preached to all the world is does that mission yet lie ahead of us? This is a critical question which helps to shed more light on the time of the Gentiles. We encourage you to read the 24th chapter of Matthew in preparation for the study today.

Matthew 24 is a hotly contested chapter because it contains many end times things which are believed to be in our future. Those who believe this often will do everything possible to either ignore or explain away the meaning of the term generation. Often passages are lifted from the context of Mathew 24 and arbitarily placed in our future. At other times the word is said to mean someting other than a group of people all living about the same time in the first century.
This is a major cause in failing to understand the the gathering of the elect which occurs "in Christ" who is our New Temple. He is also the foundation of that new temple, Isaiah 28:16, Acts 4:11-12 and therefore he is our land. So, the end times is the transition from the "land" to the Man. Everything for Israel under the Old Testament was centered "in the land". Today, everything in the New Testament is centered "in the Man". Truly Christ is our all in all.
In this broadcast we walk through the several indicators in Matthew 24 which speak of the events that would be fulfilled in the first century generation, the earthquakes, famines, abomination of desolation, the great tribulation, and the darkening of the sun, moon and stars.
The gathering of the elect from the four winds is the completion of the mystery of God. This is the mystery which had been kept secret, namely that the Gentiles would be broughti nto the gospel in the last days. Isaiah 27, Matt. 8, 24 speak of this gathering.
Isaiah 11 also speaks of the gathering of Israel from Assyria and Egypt in the time of Christ. Are these events fulfilled or must we continue to look to the future?
In todays' broadcast we show the correlation of the gathering in connection to the demise of Israel's former temple.
In continuation of our study of the Mytery of God from Revelation 10:7; Ephesians 1-3, Colossians 1:24-26 and Isaiah 27:12-13, we encounter three major end times events which were prophesied to be fulfilled. These events are said to occur all within the same time frame. We identified the time in the Bible known as the fullness of the times, namely as the time in which Christ was born of a woman under the Law (Torah), Gal. 4:4. This identifies the phrases "fullness of the times" as the last days of Torah of which the prophets spoke.
Jesus' ministry was in the last days, (Hebrews 1:1) which of necessity must be the last days of Israel, for it occurred before his death, Heb. 1:1-2. This is what the modern day prophets and profiteers and woefully missing in their exegesis (interpretation) of the end time.

As we continue our study of the Mystery of God based on Revelation 10:7, with the sounding of the 7th trumpet, we find a source text for the sounding of the trumpet in Isaiah 27:12-13. As we note the text in Isaiah, we learn that the gathering of Israel out of Assyria (the northern tribes) and those who were the outcasts in Egypt, those of the Southern Kingdom, occurs at the time the trumpet sounds.
Our study today will focus on the time, the gathering and the place or more properly the Person into whom Israel is gathered. We'll talk about what this gathering means for Israel. Paul connects the gathering of Israel to their salvation which helps us to define the nature of the salvation and the gathering and that to which it is directly related. In other words, we get three birds with one stone.

The Apostle John, in the book of Revelation, said the mystery of God would be finished, as he has declared to his servants the prophets. Isaiah prophesied that God would gather Israel from the nations where they were scattered.
"And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord will thresh, from the channel of the River to the Brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, O you children of Israel.
So it shall be in that day:The great trumpet will be blown; they will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria, and they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem." (Isa. 27:11-12).
The gathering from Assyria and from Egypt is the extremity of the borders to which Israel had been scattered in the North and the South. In that day, the eschatological day of the Lord, at the sounding of the last trumpet (Rev. 10:7) the gathering would be complete. Thi sis the great mystery of God. The Curses and Plagues of Deuteronomy 28
In today's study we explore the meaning of the curses of Deuteronomy 28:68 and the prophecy of 200 Million Horsemen in Revelation 9:3-19. Are these soldiers who will come to defend the Hebrew Israelites and deliver them from the struggles of oppression and white supremacy? Is this another false hope and brainwashing with which people are being persuaded that could lead to disastrous consequences?
Suppose a national disaster of such magnitude as Katrina hit and the message to the people was, Jesus Christ is coming on the clouds with 200 million horsemen to deliver them from the disaster. How traggic it would be. Yet, this is the nature and consequence of the dangerous message of the 200 million horsemen doctrine.

Are You Waiting For A An Invasion From Outer Space?
Most eschatologies are focused on wating for some extraterrestrial deliverance to come and save them. This is largely the result of futurist paradigms for end times teachings. People are waiting on the kingdom to come, waiting on the coming of the Lord, waiting on Armageddon, waiting on the end of the world.
The reason people are waiting is because they have been indoctrinated into a future perspective. In today's discussion, we will discuss the errors of futurist eschatology and its fixation with unfulfilled prophetic paradigms
If the Bible teaches that Jesus' coming is as a thief in the night, how is it possible to teach that he has already come? Doesn't the concept of coming as a thief in the night negate the probability of knowing the time of his coming and the fact that he has come? In today's broadcast we examine the scriptures related to the Son of Man coming as a thief in the night.
What do these Scriptures tell us about the return of Christ. How do they fit within a fulfilled perspective? How do they intersect with the cross currents of futurist eschatology? What clues are there which may impact the dispensationalists view?

Matthew 8:11-12 is an interesting and powerful text that sums up Jesus' end times teachings in just a couple of verses. Not only does it address the positives of the kingdom of heaven, but by implication, it also addresses the doctrines which have infiltrated the church. Many Christians are unaware of these doctrines and even fewer Christians understand how they impact our churches and our world.
There are Chrstians today who believe it is a sin to murder other innocent Christians. Yet they support a doctrine that commits those acts daily, many of which are occurring as we speak.
Other's labor under the notion that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in front of their eyes or half way across the world in the Middle East. Our studies are designed to correct these errors to help deliver people from the bondage of sensationalism and mistique in BIble prophecy. Todays, lesson provides such opportunity in discussing the Patriarchs and the reception of their ultimate hope, the kingdom.
Zechariah 12 presents is a discussion of two Jerusalem's which is often overlooked in the study of eschatology. Failure to see these two Jerusalem's creates a lop-sided view of Israel and over-emphasis on sensationalism inherent in futurist eschatology.
By a careful analysis of the text, both Jerusalem's come clear not only in identity but also in their mission and patterns so that they are distinguishable to the average reader without much effort. The text can be a challenge but with guidance it is definitely discipherable.
Replacement Theology is the view that God terminated his program with Israel and replaced it with the church. Dispensationalists believe that God has two separate programs. One is where he fulfills an earthly land promise to Israel, and a second where the church gets what some might call the "pie in the sky" promise, called the heavenly promise.
For this reason, they believe God's covenant with the nation of Israel revealed in the Bible is irrevocable. They conclude the church is an accident or side program that does not alter God's relationship with the covenant nation revealed in the Bible. In this study we examine a brief segment of End Times Controversy; The Second Coming Under Attack edited by Tim LaHaye and Thomas Ice. The book seeks to establish a Dispensational interpretation of the Little Apocalypse in Zechariah. The author of that segment, Arnold G. Fruchtenbaum takes the approach that the prophecy refers to the modern state of Israel.
Some assumptions which he makes is that the "sheep" who are scattered upon the smitten Shepherd (Christ) refer without qualification to the nation of Israel. In other words, he does not see this as a reference to the church.

Transfiguration of Jesus Coming in Judgment?
Christian Zionists and others teach Matthew 16:28 refers to the Transfiguration of chapter 17. In the upcoming broadcast, we will examine Matthew 16:28 in its context to determine whether it speaks of an event which occurred six days after Jesus spoke to his disciples or whether it is an eschatological text that belongs to the end times.

4 Blood Moons: John Hagee Verses Joel and the Apostles
John Hagee has written a book that is currently a NYT best seller called "Four Blood Moons" Something Is About To Happen. In the book he begins by citing a verse which Dispensationalist Christian Zions have used for years to say refers to the coming of Christ in 70 A.D. In fact, they have rather used Matthew 24 to teach a future coming by distinguishing between Matthew 24:15 and Luke 21:20-22 saying the former refers to something future and the latter refers to something past.
Luke 21 A.D. 70 or Future Return of Christ?
Hagee now uses the Olivet discourse in Luke 21, contrary to other dispensationalists such as Thomas Ice who apply the text to Christ's return in judgment upon Jerusalem in 70 A.D., because of his presuppositions about the Four Blood Moons.
In today's message we examine the fallacies of the Christian Zionist view advocated by John Hagee and demostrate how the Bible is being manipulated to teach a doctrine which had detrimental consequences for the church and worldview.

According to Christian Zionism, Christ will return to reign on a literal throne in Jerusalem. This teaching is so ingrained into the minds of the masses that many do not even question it. Others are so ill-informed that they have no clue whether it is the doctrine God or not. They are simply attending churches or accepting the words of ministers who say that the kingdom of God will one day be established on earth in Jerusalem.
According to Chuck Colson, The Dispensational Bible supposedly written by C.I. Scofield was a successful attempt by the Oxford University Press to weave Christian Zionist theories into the Bible. These are permeated through the Scofield Bible with notes in the margins and at the bottom of the page. They are largely responsible for Dispensationalism as it is known today.
Will Jesus return to reign on earth? There are several prophecies in the Bible about the return of Christ and some a specifically focused on whther or not he will reign on earth. We will discuss these in the upcoming broadcast.
Will There Be Sin After Christ's Return?
If Christ has returned why is there sin in the world? As more and more theologians and Bible students become aware of Jesus' return being fulfilled in the first century, some question why sin yet exists in the world.
If Christ Has Returned Shouldn't The World Be Free of Sin?
Christians who believe Christ's return is yet to come believe that if Christ has returned, sin should not longer exist in the world. This is an important point to consider. Are we open to what the Scriptures say about it?
Would we be shocked to know that it may not be what we traditionally have been taught? Are we so wedded to our traditions that we are not willing to look at even the Bible to be our guide but trust in our own confidence that we are better judges at the mind of God that the Holy Spirit?

D.L. Moody (D.L. Moody Bible Institute) and C.I. Scofield were influence by Darby. Darby is the father of dispensational theology made popular by the Scofield and Ryrie study Bibles. The Dallas Theological Seminary and The Moody Bible Institute were founded by the principles of dispensational theology.
Zionism's founders believed and stated that Palestinians are less than human.
