Hey friends! Welcome to our podcast! Our mission is to help give insight on deep topics through the lens of God's Word! We hope you enjoy :)
-Kennedy and Emalee
Welcome back! It's time for part 2!!! This is a good one! Today we're talking about swearing and using the Lord's name in vain! Both are super exciting topics! ALSO! Don't miss our "Oh my ___" substitution off! We can't wait to get into God's word and see what he says about these topics with you!
A new year means new goals! Jump in with us as we discuss how to love others well with our tongues and be encouraging and loving with our words! The topics covered are slander/gossip, speaking out of anger, and how to be encouraging!
Do you ever struggle to feel content with where you are at in life or to find joy in hard circumstances? Us too! In this episode, we want to unpack a little bit of what God says about joy and contentment. We live in a world that does not actively promote contentment. We always want the newest, biggest, best, and we don't feel like what we have is cutting it. What if God says what we have is enough because that's not where we get our joy? We hope you find some encouragement and application as we walk through what the Bible has to say about contentment. Reach us with questions or comments on Instagram at: @the_reflecting.christ_podcast
Hey guys! We are very excited about this episode! This episode is full of facts and statistics that support the fight for life. We have linked the websites for those quotes, facts, and stats in the description for your reference. We wanted to go over the same categories we did in the Biblical Lens portion of the abortion series. We talk about conception, murder, and we also go into the affect abortion has on the mother. The fight for life is so important and we want you to be passionate about fighting for God's creation. We hope these facts will urge you to learn more and be intentional about fighting for life and inspiring others to do the same. Maybe you are on the fence about this argument. If that is the case we hope to convince you that lives in the womb are worth fighting for. To sum up this podcast in three words it would be this: Shift your perspective. The world is trying to tell us lies about abortion and the babies inside the womb. Don't become numb to the reality of this horrifying topic. Open your eyes, ears, and heart to be wrecked by what this is and moved to act on it. We love you all, and again feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns.

In this episode we are going to be looking at abortion through a Biblical lens. This is a very prevalent and important topic, so there is no more important lens than the most prevalent and important guide: the Bible. What does conception really mean? Why is abortion wrong? What does God have to say about it? The Bible is our greatest authority, so before looking at what science and facts contribute to the argument, we wanted to look at scripture. This topic is one that God has heavily laid on both our hearts, and we are really eager to share God's word with you regarding it. We hope you enjoy this episode and we want you to reach out with any questions you might have. The best way to reach us is through direct messaging us on Instagram: @the_reflecting.christ_podcast

We encourage you, listener, to open your hearts to a new lens of what beauty truly means!!
Feeling truly beautiful is so hard in today's society. The standard for beauty is so unreachable and narrow that no one seems to fit the unreal standard. In today's podcast, we will discuss how we attempt to attain worldly beauty, our personal struggles with body image, and the small and unattainable scope of beauty that the world gives us. We hope you enjoy :)

We have loved going through this series with you all and we can't wait to bring it round circle in this podcast!
We welcome you to listen to part 2 of how we respond to the gospel and actively live our lives for Christ! This week we're going to talk about some of the things we don't do because we love the Lord and want to serve him. This includes the 10 commandments, lying, cheating, gossip, homosexuality, drunkenness, and more. We're super excited to talk about these topics and learn about what Christ calls us to turn from and pursue a life solely for Him!
Now that we have discussed what the gospel is and how to accept the gospel into your life and Jesus into your heart, we are going to look at how we respond to that in the way we live our life. We have broken it into two parts. Someone once said that people often know Christians more for what they are against than what they are for. We don't want that to be the case! In this first episode we are going to be talking about what Christians are for. What are the things we, as Christians, value and implement into our daily lives? We will explore this through our conversation of our response to the gospel! Join us for part two as we discuss the things we don't do as Christians because of the gospel and Jesus' work on the cross.
Do you want to take the next step in your faith or learn more about how to be saved? Then listen as we talk about why we need salvation through Christ, and the steps we take to accept his WONDERFUL gift!
Romans 10:9-13
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Join us as we look into the beautiful and powerful love story that involves us and God! That's right, we're going through the gospel!
