2 - Practice self-discipline:
What part of "APEING IN" spells self-discipline? That's right, NONE.
Instead, develop good habits around work, spending, managing your investments, and your personal relationships.
3 - Embrace change:
I mean, if you're in the NFT game, you're aware of the speed of change in the market, right? Embrace it, pivot when necessary, and always be learning and growing.
4 - Maintain a sense of purpose:
Remember, there's more to life than just making a bank. Strive to create value for your community, make a positive impact in the world, and really believe in what you're doing. If you have a good belief in your project, you will naturally be building and delivering.
5 - Emphasize resilience:
You do not develop resilience in an up-only market, You develop resilience in the face of adversity. Take this bear market as an opportunity for growth and use it to become stronger and more resilient.
So, there you have it! Follow these principles, and you'll be a stoic NFT master in no time.

Web3 and in-game token economies are transforming the gaming landscape, offering players the ability to own and trade digital assets in a decentralized and secure manner. However, designing a sustainable in-game token economy is no easy feat. There are several challenges that must be addressed to ensure its success.
One of the biggest challenges is creating an in-game economy that is balanced and fair. If the token economy is not properly designed, it can lead to unequal distribution of wealth and negatively impact player engagement and satisfaction. Developers must carefully consider factors such as token supply, token distribution, and token exchange rates to ensure that the in-game economy is fair and balanced for all players.
We saw too many gaming tokens that worked great during the Bull-run but quickly crashed down when the hype was gone. We would like to see gaming tokens that grow relative to their growing adoption regardless of the market conditions.
Another challenge is ensuring that the in-game token economy is secure and protected against fraud and hacking. Does the “Ronin Hack” Ring a bell? This is still the largest hack to date, and it happened within Axie Infinity’s ecosystem. With the rise of Web3 and blockchain technology, security is of the utmost importance. Developers must implement strong security measures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure that players' digital assets are protected.
Despite these challenges, the opportunities for growth and innovation in the world of Web3 and in-game token economies are immense. By leveraging the power of blockchain technology, developers can create new and exciting gaming experiences that offer players the ability to own and trade digital assets, participate in in-game token economies, and even earn real-world value.

Building in Web3 can get really tough, especially considering that there are very few examples of concrete use cases that have obtained mass adoption. Another particular challenge when building in Web3 is the fact that there is a lot of hype around narratives that change and rotate much faster than any team can build anything robust enough. This can easily lead to the “Chasing shiny objects” syndrome, which in turn can mean the downfall of a company. At the same time, following the current trends and understanding when it is important to adopt new improvements or ways to do things in Web3 is also critical, so where do we draw the line?
What has been particularly challenging in my experience is how to determine when to pivot and when to just keep pushing with the same product. In our latest Web3 Creators Podcast we discuss precisely that with my great guest Ian Friend from Ferrum Network. Ferrum initially launched a product that was getting no traction, and they decided to try different things. Eventually, they solved their own problem by developing a staking mechanism for their token, which led them to offer that solution to other projects, leading to one of the first “Staking as a Service” products in the market.
We also talk with Ian about the character traits that make good teams and founders, and how most projects have great intentions but fail to match expectations. That is very different from what we generally hear that most of the projects are Rug-Pulls or Scams (although there are a LOT of scams out there for sure). In the minds of investors, whether a project fails or scams makes little difference. The bottom line is they lost their investment.
The good thing is that there is always room for improvement, and having the right mindset and perseverance eventually leads to creating great success and amazing products that people keep coming back to.

Fundraising and Investing in startups is very much like dating. You don't want to have dinner (an intro Zoom meeting) and then go immediately to bed (sign the term sheet). You want to know your date (Investor), figure out if you are more or less compatible, share the same interests, and are willing to begin a long-term relationship. It may not always end up the way you imagined or wanted, but I think this is a GREAT Insight I got from my recent chat with Tomer from Flori VC.
As I reflect on my own dating life, I can definitely make a parallel on how the typical way to screw up a date is. Being too needy is a big turn-off. Another red flag is not being open to questions and willing to receive feedback. Being arrogant and not acknowledging the potential risks of the business or your flaws as a founder/individual is not really conducive to a second date. That said, you ARE Selling yourself when you are going on a date (pitching to investors). You must be CONFIDENT, RELIANT, and CONVINCING. You also need to present a challenge: “I’m also considering you as a (business) partner, and I also need to be sold on the idea that you are a potential match for me (an investor I want to have on my cap table)”.
In our industry, we could easily picture SBF as the “Tinder Swindler” of the Crypto Investment world, and the FTX collapse as that really enticing short-term date that ended up really bad and we ended up regretting. Some investors went as far as marrying Sam in investment terms. It is natural to assume that Investors small and large have been traumatized by the FTX Debacle, and are now hesitant to open up again to romantic flings with exciting new Web3 narratives.

I’ve been struggling to make this episode since it is so personal and it also comes at a crucial turning point in my life. But today It really hit me when I was sent some money I filed the request to withdraw my retirement pension fund, which is like a major No-No for a long-term retirement plan, but I really have no other choice, and my family always comes first. I am married with a sweet 6-year-old kid and a gorgeous smiling 8-month baby. I love them deeply and will do whatever it takes to provide for them and be there for them.
I also feel a moral duty to write this story because people tend to assume that because you are involved in crypto for years you must be already well-off. I know that there are many young YouTubers showing off their luxurious lifestyle in Dubai after “making it” in crypto, but I think my story might resonate with a lot more people. Or maybe it’s just me and I am just the biggest loser in the whole Industry. I couldn’t care less how this will make me look, this is me telling my truth.

The big challenge of building a long-standing business in #Web3
If I would have to name a single characteristic that would help me determine if a Web3 Project will endure a rough bear market (like the one we are living through right now) and thrive during the Bull Market, it would without a doubt be RESILIENCE!
We may think we know what people want, but the reality is we never truly know. Everyone of us has his/her unique life experience and understands the world differently. Here is when VALIDATING AN IDEA is a crucial part of building a successful Web3 business. And this is no trivial feat, hence why we see so many copy-paste projects of Ideas that have been validated by the market.
Here is the story of my friend and great entrepreneur Erez Ben-Kiki, founder and CEO of Dcentralab. Initially, he built 2key out of an understanding of where the referral and peer-to-peer marketing were going, and although he was right on the approach, he didn’t account for the rising gas costs on Ethereum making his business not sustainable.
Learning from his experience and taking a new approach, he went on to build tools that would help his company improve its product and grow its tech stack, and there is where the magic began happening.
They since have gone out and built Hord, TokensFarm, and Chainport, which still remains one of the largest inter-blockchain Bridges by TVL (Total Value Locked). The difference now? The approach they’ve taken into building those. They first identified THEIR OWN need for similar tools, and then examined the cost of acquiring these as stand-alone services or building them themselves. After they reached the decision to build it themselves, the natural next step was to package the products and offer them to other projects in the space.

There can be NO #Freedom without #PRIVACY. Especially in #Web3
Privacy is the basic ability to say "Mind your own Business". Whether this means closing your windows to your neighbors or obfuscating your blockchain transactions, I consider this to be a basic human right.
It's not enough to find a few bad actors that utilize privacy to launder money or perform other nefarious activities to go "See? This is why we can't allow you to have privacy".
Yes, I'm looking at you: Governments and Central Authorities.
Join us as we chat with Guy Corem and Alex Romanov about Privacy and how they are trying to provide a solution with Beam. We were trying to figure out why this topic is still being roughly ignored even after Edward Snowden's efforts to bring awareness to this issue.
My conclusion is that until now we have been made aware only of the "READ-MODE" of Private Data Mining. Meaning, we already know that most of the internet platforms we use on a daily basis are tracking our every moves to the point where their algorithms can determine which room in our house we spend the most time in or even how much time we spend on the toilet...
So far, the Killer App for Data Mining has been mainly Selling us Stuff.
But recently, we've been witnessing more and more cases of our Data being used to hinder our very ability to transact, see the Trucker's Protest in Canada, or what's going on in China for quite some time.
In all fairness, this was a concern of mine, but it had never become so acute in my awareness until I began to understand the power that the WEF, Central Banks, and Governments are about to unleash with the use of #CBDCs. Using the facade of "Convenience", "Efficiency" and "Sustainability", Governments are getting ready to enforce the evilest form of mass population control humanity has ever witnessed.
Central Authorities are increasingly willing to utilize #blockchain technology as a true weapon of mass submission, and we are falling willingly into this trap so long as they allow us to trade #Crypto and buy #NFTs.
Once #CDBDs are released, all other forms of money will most likely become Illegal, especially private-preserving currencies. It is up to all of us to opt out of their all-encompassing "You'll own nothing and be happy" system.
