We started watching scary movies together 7 years ago, where we would get together and stay up until the early hours of the morning getting fear induced heart palpitations. Everything was fine though because we had each other! Now, we live on opposite sides of the country, but have continued our tradition and moved our horror nights online.

Honestly.. this movie had potential but it just sucked in a lot of ways. It wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t good. Not one person in this movie was even remotely likeable or worth rooting for - except the dog of course. There were way too many plot holes that made the movie seem confused and illogical, and actually made me really mad during my second watch. It was basically a drama, trying to dress up as a horror movie, what a flop! THANK YOU, NEXT!

An interesting and quite original concept that tackles modern day issues around influencer lifestyle, and how parenting mistakes can hatch a monster. We were definitely GROSSED out, but at the same time were engrossed and intrigued about where the story was going. The movie was already on the short side, but we felt like it could have easily been cut down to 30-ish minutes and still had the same effect.

Tinja is a 12-year-old gymnast who's desperate to please her image-obsessed mother. After finding a wounded bird in the woods, she brings its strange egg home, nestles it in her bed and nurtures it until it hatches. We had high hopes for this movie but struggled to stay engaged and the plot twist wasn't nearly as exciting as we wanted it to be. We can't get past the fact this wasn't actually the story of her first kill... like, what??? Tune in to hear our thoughts!

Not going to lie, we were HYPED for this movie - We were sold on the atmosphere, the mystery, and the idea of a different approach to typical vampire movies. We weren't totally let down, and we quite enjoyed the movie - but this was definitely a one time watch. Tune in to hear our thoughts!
