The Presence Posse is a cohort of 6 International Teachers of Presence, who gather to have conversations around the power of presence and mindfulness in our daily lives and in various circumstances. Understanding the messages our mind and body are sending us via our feelings and emotions. Understanding our feelings are not telling us about our circumstances but rather are guidance.
Embracing the Power of Presence and Mindfulness in your daily lives will help you both live a life full of grace and presence, it will also significantly self induced stress in every area of life.
Do you remember the first time death touched your being? For me it was 9 when I lost my grandmother. Too young to fully grasp what was happening and too innocent to understand the pain my mom went through processing the loss of her mom.
Death seems permanent. Life seems temporary. Join the Posse as we explore the subject of loss. Not just from a loved one passing, it could be pets, a job, a relationship, a financial set back. The way perceived loss shows up for us is replete with variety. Each occasion of loss is a wonderful catalyst for Self Exploration and Inquiry.

In this special edition of the Presence Posse Presents, Posse member Bobby Cobb delivers a presentation to the ATOM Metaphysical Library and Spiritual Center. The Presentation is humorously entitled Defense against the Dark Arts and discusses from a Covert Hypnosis standpoint, marketers are using embedded commands and other hypnotic language patterns and how the best defense is tapping into the Power of Presence.
Marketers spend significant amount of money convincing us we are not everything we can be but with their offering we will be Us 2.0. Teachers of Presence understand you are whole already. Nothing Lacking.

As an occasional organizational development consultant, Bobby seemed like a natural to lead this conversation. As is often the case, life happened. His screen froze although is audio still worked, he popped on and back on before being lost "nearly" for good.
Since it was on leadership, Fred suggested someone needed to step up and take the reigns and Malcolm took the ball. How can remaining presence and maintaining mindful help in a leadership role? In short, MASSIVELY! Keeping you head while others might be losing theirs allows you to be the cool head. It also allows you to be more open to what others are going through and increases the likelihood you can response with kindness and compassion rather than triggered by reactivity.

A Zen student approaches his Roshi and claims he is ready for satori, ready to enter Nirvana.
The Roshi asks for his current state of mind.
Student says, "My mind is calm and tranquil.
The Roshi says "excellent, enter Zen from there" and turns to leave. The student asks the Roshi for one last question, "What if I had said my head was active, full of static, what would you have said? "Enter Zen from there" as he continued out the door.
Trauma is a highly charged word these days. Some run from it like it is a natural disaster, others wear it like a badge of honor. IN this exploration we explore the power of presence in helping One deal with trauma, and whether or not trauma can serve as a valuable catalyst for Self Inquiry.

It is increasingly rare to meet someone who has not been touched by dementia or Alzheimer's. As more and more diseases are eliminated or made more manageable, increasingly it is the hardware which begins to simply wear out. Dementia affects a person's ability to access memories. The near past seems to go first. Vivid memories of high school prom are locked and loaded, what you had for lunch a couple of days ago, NOT SO MUCH!
Bobby has dealt with dementia in two rounds. First, with his mother who suffered for 10 years {although actually for her, she was rarely suffering}. Then his mother's best friend growing up, who was also the last of his mom's friends who remained in contact with her.
Dementia is a hideous journey down a one-way street currently. For the caregivers, mindfulness and practicing presence is an invaluable tool. The act of caregiving for a loved one is which with opportunities for personal exploration and growth. If you are dealing with this currently, you will likely find some helpful tools and strategies. These are easily repurposed to other areas of our journey for those not currently dealing with it.

Goddess Andrea Returns this time she visits with the gents. Can being fully present, beyond our conditioning and expectations help with traditional "bedroom issues" that result from overthinking? Can focusing less how what you are doing instead on what your partner is experiencing create a deeper connection.
Once Bobby and Fred recovered from the idea we were going to be discussing "grown up" subjects and got the first hundred or so penis jokes out of the way, the crew settled down to a productive conversation likely to have you rethinking a preconceived idea or several.

When St. Paul wrote his first letter to the Thessalonians he quoted The Christ as having said, "Rejoice always, Pray continually!". What does that mean?
If you are a practicing Christian, how are you doing with this? Is it something you try or do you chalk it up as something to aspire toward, assuming he didn't mean that literally? The book Way of the Pilgrim records one man's journey in pursuing this goal.
If you follow a different religion or classify yourself as "not particularly religious" or "more spiritual than religious" is this something you strive to do? Do you think you would benefit you if you did?
In this episode, The Posse explores the concept of Life as Meditation experiences as mantra.

A good place to start might be with defining EGO. What is it to you? In Latin it means I or I am. To some it is the secret to success. To others it is the bane of our existence. A few see it as an entity to be defeated, for other still it is a figment of our imagination. This is the first Presence Posse Podcast where the team thought we might have some fireworks, or at the very least some disagreement. We all perceived we had such different views.
It is helpful or harmful? Is it even real? Join the Posse for this exploration.

That sense of knowing what is about to happen just before it does is phenomenon we have collectively labeled Intuition. Can Intuition be developed and refined? Can we become more psychic? In this episode of the Presence Posse Presents we are joined by Guide and Channel Joy Kingsborough
IN 1999, Joy found herself floating out in a vast space surrounded by streams of light that looked like they were moving incredibly fast, but everything felt slow and safe and full of love. The streams looked like the inside of electrical wires, if you could see what energy looked like as it traveled between distances. She was moving with it and became aware that she was a stream of light too. She was merged with the streams and returning to the One, the Source, to God. Alng the way, she met a being identified as Jonah.
Since the out of body experience in 1999 Joy's life has completely transformed. Synchronicity, peace and prosperity are normal. Over the years "Jonah" has helped her impact the lives of thousands and create several programs to help people free themselves from their Karmic patterns of lack, shame, unworthiness, judgement and so on. Her signature program, Mastering the BrainGAME is now taught by coaches all over the world. She has helped to train people to channel, to trust their intuition, and to live in higher frequencies. Today, Joy channels Jonah to audiences online, at private retreats, on on stages, helping people experience radical transformation!

"You can buy their labor with money. Winning their hearts, having them become part of a movement is a completely different ball game." ~Steve Jobs
In a recent survey by AARP executives approaching retirement {55 and above in the survey} reported the workplace had changed so dramatically if they were starting their careers over again, they don't believe they would thrive in today's workplaces. "It is simply too stressful" "There are landmines everywhere these days" we 2 quotes that resonated from many participants.
In a separate study, 72% of key employees who switch companies but maintained a similar career path said they left due to "perceived indifference of my supervisor".
In an era where AI is increasing performing routine functions, and HR is placing more rules defining how to conduct ourselves, it is getting increasingly difficult to create deep bonds. Join psychotherapist Miriam Segal and Peace of Mind Practitioner and HR consultant Jan Harte in the exploration: Presence in the Workplace.

Do Our feelings tell us about our circumstances? That is the way it looks, for sure. Is it the truth? In this episode, we consider the meaning of embodying presence and using "our feelings" as an Inner GPS guiding us and delivering knowledge of our inner working.
How can remaining presence and maintaining mindful help in you tap into your innate inner guidance? Keeping you head while others might be losing theirs allows you to be the cool head. It also allows you to be more open to what others are going through and increases the likelihood you can response with kindness and compassion rather than triggered by reactivity.

Presence Posse Presents: 016 Presence and Anxiety
Anxiety is defined as fear, worry, or apprehension about an event that has not yet occurred. This means to "be anxious" requires conjuring a figment about something which might happen in the future and allowing the imagination to trigger a neurotransmitter cascade and the re-interpretation of the events must constantly reinforce the feelings so that a prolonged state of anxiety or an anxiety state is achieved.
Once we realize the meaning of embodying presence and using "our feelings" as an Inner GPS guiding us and delivering knowledge of our inner workings, it is a short step to begin situations differently.
What if we simply began to understand the feelings as guidance?
How can remaining present and maintaining mindfulness help you tap into your innate inner guidance? We explore that question in this edition of the Presence Posse Presents.

Presence Posse Presents: 015 Presence Can See Everyone is Doing the Best they Can
Once we realize the meaning of embodying presence and using "our feelings" as an Inner GPS guiding us and delivering knowledge of our inner workings, it is a short step to begin to see others differently. The look on one's face no longer tells us merely "they are in a mood", it also begins to suggest how they are possessing and interacting with the human experience. With this realization, we often find, there is suddenly an infusion of the perfume of grace. Space is created, and permission is given. Presence is the safe space we seek.
How can remaining present and maintaining mindfulness help you tap into your innate inner guidance? Keeping your head while others might be losing theirs allows you to be the cool head. It also allows you to be more open to what others are going through and increases the likelihood you can respond with kindness and compassion rather than triggered by reactivity. How can remaining presence and playful help in you tap into your innate joy? In short, MASSIVELY! Keeping you head while others might be losing theirs allows you to be the cool head. It also allows you to be more open to what others are going through and increases the likelihood you can response with kindness and compassion rather than triggered by reactivity.
The Presence Posse is a free wheeling conversation with 6 International Teachers of Presence. We focus on strategies and ideas around making your way through the human experience more mindfully, calmly and full of presence. One of the foundational ideas that is a recurring theme is our emotions are not telling us about our circumstances, rather our emotions and feelings are guidance from consciousness telling us about our current inner state.

The dynamic atmosphere is rich for exploration into our True Nature, and from those operating from that perspective, a truly fascinating undertaking.
The Presence Posse is a cohort of 6 International Teachers of Presence, who gather to have conversations around the power of presence and mindfulness in our daily lives and in various circumstances.
