Hello and Welcome to Woman of Letters. Freedom Church’s first Book Club Podcast. The podcast where we will be going through books by women, for women. My name is Breena and I will be your host on this pursuit of wisdom and true identity. Being women of letters, we uphold a standard of growth and love. We strive for knowledge, and we do not give up when things get hard. So go, grab your coffee, a notebook, maybe something to write with and let’s get started.
This week we discussed chapter 6 of Without Rival by Lisa Bevere. In this chapter, we learn that sometimes we have to risk being rejected and turned away by men in our churches in order to be obedient. You have been chosen and anointed to preach, teach, and encourage! The only opinion of you that really matters is that of your Heavenly Father.
We are halfway through Without Rival by Lisa Bevere! This week on Woman of Letters, we discuss chapter 5. We learn how rivals have helped us become who we are today and how to view them as a way to help us grow into who God has called us to be.
This week we discuss chapter 4 of Without Rival by Lisa Bevere. We learn the dangers of comparison and look deep within ourselves to find where the root of our insecurities are.
Chapter 3 of Without Rival by Lisa Bevere digs deeper into the story of Abraham and Sarah when God revealed his promise to them and they worked to make it happen. We discuss this and so much more in this week's Woman of Letters.
This week, we discuss chapter 2 of Without Rival by Lisa Bevere and get to shed light on the areas where we've misunderstood God's Character and made idols for ourselves to cope with our pain.
