Yes, we are still talking about the renaissance, but nevertheless we continue to enjoy it and engage in interesting conversaitons about the Disney annimated feature films of the era. Lion King and Pocahontas are both iconic movies for the Disney Animation Studios and have fascinating stories both in the film and in the creation of them. Although one may be better than the other, both have merit in the industry and hold up to this day.

The first bracket of the Rennaisance was such a banger that it took up an entire episode. The sisters and guest, Hannah, talk about what it was about Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid that made the films timeless classics. Both films feature Alan Menken and Howard Ashman for the music, both were assumed failures by Katzinburg, and both became record-setting and award-winning box office hits. Although both are fantastic, there can be only one winner.

Disney, and Peter Schneider continue to take actions that could kill or save the Studio.
