After a bit of a break the sisters are back with the Friends Not Food Bracket. This includes, Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, A Bugs Life, and Ratatouille. Which film of these four is the best? Will we have a winner? Listen to find out.
After our long break, Big and Lil Murph are back, with guests Colin and Ken, for the finale for the Pixar Man Versus the Machine bracket. Who will win? Wall-E, Incredibles 2, or Cars 3?
Big and Lil Murph face the daunting task in choosing a winner from the final sub-catagorry of the Man V the Machine bracket for the Pixar Animation Studio. The winner of this will then up against the best Incredibles movie and the best Cars movie discussed in the previous episodes. Find out who wins.
Pixar has released three Cars movies since the start of the franchise, but there is only one that is the best. In this episode, the sisters discuss which is their favorite, why, and the confusing unanswered questions to the anatomy and biology of these cars and their mechanical friends.
The sisters quickly decide which of Pixar's Incredibles movies is better, I or II, and then go off on to debate ranking the Disney princesses. Pixar started with the dreams of a handful of artists and computer scientist in the 1980s (in addition to millions of dollars invested by Steve Jobs) and has since taken over the screens people everywhere. Although the studio has recently faced a corporate shake up, they continue to impress the viewers as they produce films that many hold dear to their hearts.

Big and Lil Murph discuss Hunchback of Notre Dame Versus Hercules and Tarzan Versus the Rescuers Down Under. All four films hold up to this day and have artistic merit, along side some fantastic musical scores and story lines.
Yes, we are still talking about the renaissance, but nevertheless we continue to enjoy it and engage in interesting conversaitons about the Disney annimated feature films of the era. Lion King and Pocahontas are both iconic movies for the Disney Animation Studios and have fascinating stories both in the film and in the creation of them. Although one may be better than the other, both have merit in the industry and hold up to this day.
Aladdin versus Mulan is yet another loaded discussion for the pod to debate. Hannah is back to help carry on the talk about the iconic films of the Disney renaissance. Ready to feel triggered about winners? There are people who strongly stand behind both Mulan and Aladdin, so there's surely going to be push back on who will be the one winner of this bracket.
The first bracket of the Rennaisance was such a banger that it took up an entire episode. The sisters and guest, Hannah, talk about what it was about Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid that made the films timeless classics. Both films feature Alan Menken and Howard Ashman for the music, both were assumed failures by Katzinburg, and both became record-setting and award-winning box office hits. Although both are fantastic, there can be only one winner.
Alas, the sisters are at the rebirth of Disney Annimation! The new executive board of Michael Eisner, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Roy E. Disney, and Peter Schneider continue to take actions that could kill or save the Studio. This time period for Walt Disney Annimation truly goes to show the resilliance of the animators and creative staff at the studio.
