Trusting God is not merely an acceptance of divine providence, it is an intentional surrender, a relinquishing of control into the hands of a higher wisdom. In moments of doubt and confusion, trusting God becomes a lantern in the darkness, a source of light that illuminates the path when our own vision falters. It is a silent conversation with the divine, where our fears find solace, and our burdens are lifted by the unseen hands that cradle us.

Our guest speaker, Norm Wielsch, was an agnostic police officer for 26-years and was exposed to many traumatic incidents. He achieved the rank of commander of a multi-jurisdictional narcotic task force. In 1998, he was diagnosed with PTSD and then with an incurable debilitating neuro-muscular disease that caused loss of feeling, muscle strength, and mobility in his hands and feet. This led to his being addicted to opioids which were prescribed to alleviate pain.

A lot of things happened which led him to a 14-year prison sentence. However, he responded to God’s calling through divine intervention and got healed.

He is now an Addiction Counselor, chaplain, and a Christian Mental Health Coach specializing in trauma with the intent to start a first responder ministry after he obtained his master’s degree in theology and Christian Counseling.

I wrote a book called, “Christ-Centered Healing of Trauma: Healing a Broken Heart” and a small group study guide. The book is the primary curriculum for “Hope and Healing for Warriors” which is a veteran and first responder ministry and with more healing ministries to follow.

Please welcome Norm Wielsch.

Is your ego triggering you? Does ego make you feel superior to other people? Why does it matter?

Ego is our false self, the person we become so other people will like us, admire us, and accept us. Ego is also who we tell ourselves we are without question or who other people have told us we are.

Our true self is the “I am.” Ego is what comes after the “I am.” I am smart. I am good looking. I am rich and famous, and so on.

Ego is that part of us that is overly preoccupied with survival, accumulation, and success. It works to build an identity that both sets us above everyone else and helps us to fit in.

In our interview with Brett Shuttleworth, who is a Motivational Speaker & Spiritual Expert, used to be a professional rugby player, billboard supermodel and Hollywood actor. He is also one of the co-authors of our forthcoming Dream to Rise Anthology.

This thought-provoking exploration, we unravel the layers of ego, understanding its role as a mirror reflecting the depths of our inner being. It's a dual force that both shields and reveals our true selves, where the interplay of light and shadow within the ego becomes a pathway to profound insight.

I am so fortunate to have with us Brett Shuttleworth.

Physical punishment, such as spanking, can lead to negative outcomes such as physical and psychological injury, harm to child’s dignity, self-respect, self-esteem, and sense of a positive identity, and damage to the parent-child relationship.

Have you ever been in a situation wherein you are excited with a new project, but it takes you so much time to take action? Why?

Most of the time, people sabotage themselves by letting negative thoughts spiral out of control.

Self-sabotaging behavior refers to intentional action (or inaction) that undermines people's progress and prevents them from accomplishing their goals. Self-sabotage occurs when people hinder their own success.

While it seems surprising, some people undermine their own good intentions and long-term goals. When people take these destructive steps, their harmful behavior can negatively impact nearly every part of their lives including their relationships and career.

Self-sabotage often serves as a coping mechanism that people use to deal with stressful situations and past traumas. Unfortunately, it makes problems worse and limits a person's ability to successfully move forward in a healthy way.

Our guest speaker, who is also a co-author of Overcoming Self-Sabotage, Andrea Hunt, is a world-traveling transformational life coach and Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner. She helps expats and digital nomads conquer their mindset to thrive abroad without confidence blocks to get what they want out of life.

In this episode, Andrea and I will share with you how we were able to overcome self-sabotage through our stories. Both of us are co-authors of “Overcoming Self-Sabotage” and we are here with the objective of making you aware that self-sabotage is truly a blockage towards manifesting your dream.

If you think you self-sabotage, ask yourself:

  • Is your behavior aligning with your goals?

  • If not, what is stopping you from taking action to make your dreams come true?

I know each one of us experience some struggles in life.  Why me?  Why do I have to experience all these things?  Most of us complain.

However, have you ever stepped back and thought about why all these things are happening to us?  Probably, we need to learn something in one aspect of our life.  I consider them as God teaching us something. It might be learning how to be patient.  Then he will give us people whom we think are difficult to interact with.  He gives us the opportunity to learn how to adapt, adjust to certain situations wherein you will be required to use your patience.  Will you consider them as lessons from God?  I believe so.

This is an important thing to do.

Because when we sit back and remember what we have learned.  It can have a greater impact on our future.

God is often working in ways we cannot see.  That is faith.

How can trauma be passed down?

There’s a growing interest in the question of whether trauma experienced by our parents and grandparents may impact our mental health.

Our guest, Dr. Maritta Philp, MD, a successful coach, therapist, and author has gone through so many traumas which her parents have experienced.  First, she has a Jewish ancestry and didn’t survive the holocaust.  Second, her mother had a blood disorder.  This led to her separation from her mom.  This directed her to become a loner, feeling she’s not enough, and felt she doesn’t belong to any group.

She has worked as a General Practitioner in the United Kingdom for about 20 years before focusing her energy more on supporting her clients and writing, having published her first book “Doctor’s Choice – A Hard-Working Doctor’s Guide to Creating a Life of Freedom” in 2018. She published her second book “Womanhood – Reclaiming the Power of the Sacred Feminine” in 2021.

Now joining the Dream to Rise Anthology Book wherein she will share how she got healed from her trauma.  Dream to Rise will be published on Dec. 5, 2023, and I am truly honored to have her in this anthology book.

Dr. Philp is now supporting her clients in overcoming obstacles, enabling them to step into a self-directed and empowered life, both personally and professionally.

She is passionate about enabling women to step into their power and create a life they can be in love with, a life that reflects their most important values and hopes.

She sees herself as an explorer of human consciousness and evolution, being interested not only in who we are as humans, but who we are becoming.

Are you having difficulty dealing with your preteens? I believe most of our parents have gone through this challenge as well.

Probably, kids with low self-esteem feel unsure of themselves. If they think others won't accept them, they may not join in. They may let others treat them poorly. They may have a hard time standing up for themselves. They may give up easily, or not try at all.

Kids with low self-esteem find it hard to cope when they make a mistake, lose, or fail. As a result, they may not do as well as they could.

The people in our lives can affect how we feel about ourselves. When they focus on what's good about us, we feel good about ourselves. When they are patient when we make mistakes, we learn to accept ourselves. When we have friends and get along, we feel liked.

But if adults scold more than they praise, it's hard to feel good about yourself. Harsh words can stick and become part of how you think about yourself.

The things you say to yourself play a big part in how you feel about yourself. Thinking, "I'm such a loser" or "I'll never make friends," hurts your self-esteem.

You may have experienced this hence this voice keeps running in your head.

Let us listen to Helen Verroux who has gone through so much while she was young, coming from a dysfunctional family. However, because of her faith in God, she turned this lesson into spreading light to others, especially the parents and teachers, in helping manage their preteens children and students.

Helen Verroux, the founder of the Raising Purpose Driven Teen Leaders Movement (RPTL movement & Academy) defines herself as a teen and young adult leadership expert, a youth trainer, a kingdom entrepreneur, an author, a movement maker and a success/leadership coach. She is also a John Maxwell certified coach and the CEO of “The Keys For Success” that helps parents, youth organizations and schools to raise purpose-driven teen leaders without compromising their moral values. Being an educator for more than 12 years, she strongly believes that now is the time to equip young people to navigate effectively in this new economy with programs that not only revolutionize the educational system but that help teens to gain clarity on their purpose and understand the concept of financial freedom.

Finding a sense of purpose can truly brighten our good days and give us the strength to push through those tough ones. It’s like having a beacon of hope that reminds us of our illness and struggles don’t have the power to define our entire lives.

Even if you’re facing uncertainties or grappling with new limitations due to your chronic illness, remember that your purpose is not confined by these challenges. It has the power to flourish and shine in unexpected ways, no matter what life throws your way.

Allow yourself to explore and redefine what your purpose means to you now. Embrace the journey of self-discovery and growth. You might find that your purpose takes on a new depth, a new dimension that you hadn’t imagined before.

Let us listen to our guest, Jamie Haberman, who discovered her passion for hospice care 16 years ago and love helping patients and families find comfort and peace at end-of-life.

Although she struggles with chronic pain, fatigue, chronic illness, she had her share of personal struggles, she pushes through and not let it stop her from accomplishing her dreams and goals. She believes that God has a plan for her and every experience in her life has happened to make her the woman she is today.

In February 2023, she started an end-of-life coaching, Hospice Buddy. It does not only coach and support services, but also an online store and educational blogs and articles to help people understand and work through the changes and challenges experienced during the end-of-life process.

Let us welcome Jamie Haberman

The scriptures teach, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (Matthew 7:7). When you turn to God, He promises to answer your prayers—but sometimes it can be hard to recognize His voice.

Sometimes God doesn’t seem to answer prayers right away—or at all. Does that mean He doesn’t care or that He’s not listening? No. Sometimes, God waits to answer our prayers because He trusts us to make the right decision. Other times, God requires us to patiently wait for an answer so we can build our faith and trust in Him. And on some occasions, God gives us answers but they may not be what we’d hoped for. Whatever the answer, take comfort in the fact that God always listens when you pray, and He will give you the right guidance at the right time.

Our prayers may seem to go unanswered because God is keeping us from something that isn’t best. He may answer prayer with a “Yes,” “No” or “Wait.” That might not be what we want to hear, but we see only part of the picture where God sees all of it.

Our guest, Heather Jefferson, is a writer, blogger and photographer with a passion for faith and creativity.  She believes that any gift is useless if she can’t use it to serve others in some way.  Her dream is to use the difficult and traumatic experiences she’s gone through to inspire and teach others how to find the blessings in their own trials and difficulties.

But how did she discover God’s plan for her?  Let us listen to Heather and she will reveal to us how God communicated to her.

Have you experienced trauma in your life? How did this impact you? Your relationships? Your performance?

Trauma is your emotional response to an experience that makes you feel threatened, afraid, and powerless.

A traumatic event could involve a car crash. But traumatic events can also be complex, or ongoing and repeated over time, like abuse or neglect.

Since threats can involve physical or psychological harm, trauma doesn’t always leave you with visible injuries. But it can still linger long-term as this brings back memories.

Trauma can challenge your ideas of how the world works and who you are as a person. This disruption can have a ripple effect on all corners of your life, from your plans for the future to your physical health and relationship with your own body.

Healing from such a profound change often takes a long time, and trauma recovery isn’t always pretty, or linear. Your journey may involve obstacles, detours, and delays, along with setbacks and lost ground. You may have no idea where you’re going or how to get there — but that’s OK.

Let us listen to Melanie Starr, who is an empowerment coach and trauma transformation practitioner whose perspective is rooted in both science and spirituality. She has been a consultant and writer in the medical field for more than 25 years, while pursuing her own deep healing from trauma through yoga, energy therapy and many other practices that engage the body, breath, heart, mind and soul in the vital work of personal development.

Melanie is a long-time yoga teacher, certified Master Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioner, Reiki Master-Teacher, and certified practitioner of Integrated Energy Therapy® and Soul Realignment®. She weaves all of these modalities as well as somatic healing techniques into her woman-centered coaching, to help women heal trauma, release fear and shame, build resiliency and claim emotional freedom. Melanie is the founder of EmpowerYourPotential.ca, as well as Midlife Divorce Transformation, an online support and education group for women going through or seeking to recover from the end of a long-term marriage.

When we help others, we can feel good about ourselves and our contributions to society. However, if we help too much or too often, we can become emotionally drained and overwhelmed. This can lead to burnout, which is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. It occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands.

When you absorb other people’s emotions and moods, you may feel more connected to those around you, which can be a powerful experience. However, your ability to attune may also be like a sponge: You end up inadvertently cleaning up the mess.

This was the case of our guest, Erin Luong, is a Mental Health Literacy Specialist and School Counsellor from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is also the founder of WingsOut.ca, a community for healing and growth.

Erin experienced so much exhaustion, as she was absorbing the problems of her clients. This impacted her health and well-being, her relationship with her children and her performance.  What action steps did she take to overcome this?

Let’s check it out.

Parenting is hard no matter how you slice it. You’re responsible for raising, shaping, and disciplining a small human. The stakes are high, and the consequences are weighty.

You want your child to be healthy, safe, and successful — so it’s no wonder that you may find yourself helping a little too much or stepping in to save the day anytime something goes slightly awry.

But that incessant “helicoptering” could be hindering your kid’s growth and development. Overprotective parents mean well, but they often do more harm than good in the pursuit of perfection.

So how can you identify whether you’re an overprotective parent? What are the potential consequences? And, most importantly, how can you stop the inadvertent smothering now rather than later?

Here’s what you need to know as we listen to Alison Lines, who had amazing parents who’s always there for her. However, it impacted how she dealt with difficult situations, decision-making, and overcoming so many fears.

But as she goes through her journey, with her ups and downs, this made her discover so much wisdom and now living her dream.

She’s an inspiring entrepreneur, empowerment coach and Image consultant. Her vision is to empower women to become the very best version of themselves by combining the unique qualities of coaching and styling. Helping women to work through their past patterns, beliefs, and traumas to become who they are meant to be and by creating their own individual style through the process. Thus, embodying the true essence of who they are. She truly believes that style is not just what you wear, but who you are. Because when you feel good on the inside, you look good on the outside and vice versa.

Let’s check it out.

“Why do I keep doing this?”

“How does this keep happening to me?”

You might ask yourself these questions when you feel trapped in patterns that create problems in your life and keep you from achieving your goals. Although you try to make changes and disrupt these patterns, somehow you end up in the same place, again and again.

If this sounds familiar, you could be sabotaging yourself.Self-sabotage refers to behaviors or thought patterns that hold you back and prevent you from doing what you want to do.

This is what many people do: They stop before they even start, or they start something new and don’t continue to follow through, and this is because of our “emotional glue.” What’s emotional glue? Unresolved issues “buried” in us; it’s where our energy patterning is frozen in time, and it’s from where we’re filtering and dictating our lives.

Let us listen to Katie Tschida, a military veteran, who was sabotaging herself because she’s not sure whether she’ll make it at the Army even though she did farm work.

Here's Katie.

Have you experienced fear in your life?  How did this impact your health and well-being?  Your relationships?  Your performance?  Are you happy?  Do you feel you are always in the dark?  Why?

Fear is something that can paralyze a person. However, anyone can learn how to deal with their fears. The main problem that people face when it comes to their fears is that they want to cling to the fear because it has become a part of who they are. If you are not ready to face your fear, you are not going to be able to get over them quite yet.

There is nothing wrong with this as everyone does things in their own time.

Listen to Susan Baston, known as Eliora on how she is able to help come up overcome fear with the tools she came up with.

Eliora is both an author and energy healer who specializes in how our emotions have the power, both negative and positive, to frame our lives. It has been her mission to guide others to see what is blocking them from living lives filled with love, kindness and compassion.

Her new book, Drink from the Well: A Guide to Recognizing Your Fears and Letting Them Go provides a pathway and the tools to recognizing thoseblocks and to releasing them.

Have you experienced being raised full of anger within the family?

When we’re angry, it’s possible to experience other feelings such as fear (of inflicting harm to ourselves or others) or disgust (for the person or thing blocking you from your goal). If you were taught that feeling anger is “bad”, you might even feel embarrassed or shameful for having felt the emotion at all. Furthermore, if you were angry and it led you to do something you considered to be inappropriate, you may feel regretful.

You might think anger should be suppressed, but it can be a motivating force.

Each of our emotions, including anger, plays an important role in our lives by providing us with information. To fully experience and tap into the wisdom of our emotions, we must learn how to experience discomfort. Without discomfort, there is no change and no growth.

Let us listen to Rick Hartley who comes from a very violent and unstable background.  His upbringing was very violent and belittling and spent his entire childhood in fear.

As he grew, the problems were obvious, but the reasons were unclear.  He spent the first of his life destroying himself and hurting the people around him. But later on, he was able to find a reason to make significant changes in himself.

So, can anger be helpful?

Let’scheck it out.

Have you experienced a loss of a loved one who has been veryclosed to you since childhood? You feel that he/she was your twin or others might even say their soulmate.

Grief has the power to change a person. Profound grief can change a person's psychology and personality forever. The initial changes that occur immediately after suffering a significant loss may go unnoticed for several weeks or months after the death of a loved one.

As we learn to cope with our losses, the way we perceive things, how we act, and how we interact with others will see a gradual shift from what we used to be to the new person we've become.

How can grief change your mind or personality? How can it change you in the short run and in the long run?

These changes are irreversible, and we must learn to accept the new version of the person we now are. Allowing the grief journey to take shape without relying on timeline for grief and, instead working towards healing helps us transition into this new existence and way of being.

Let us listen to Naomi Gobits, our guest, who lost her sister, whom she admires so much. It took her some time to accept the fact that she’s gone. She was in extreme anger, avoidance, disbelief and in pain.

It took her some time before she made the shift and worked on herself. Now, she founded the Aloha Spinal Flow, wherein she uses a technique that is designed to enhance your body’s natural healing ability. The technique works by removing blockages on your spinal cord. This is something new and interesting.

I am sure you’ve had countless times in your life when you wanted God to speak to you, but you almost went deaf from His silence. And I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve blown your top in frustration more than once, waiting for a response that never seems to come.

Maybe you’re there now. Praying for clear direction—a vision, dream, or word—so you can know exactlywhat to do. And waiting, waiting, waiting for an answer that doesn’t come.

Unfortunately, you may wait forever. Because God often doesn’t respond the way you want or expect. So, you miss Him altogether, then wrongly think you're not special to God and He’s ignoring you. Or maybe God is trying to get your attention, but you keep missingthe ways He’s speaking to you.

Let us listen to our guest, Penny Ann Watson, a published author, who will share with us how God communicated with her.  It took her several years and had to go through some health issues which made her focus on Him, built that relationship and now doing what she felt was God’s message for her.  She is now living so much joy spreading God’s message through her books:  Peddlers, Dream Spellers and Havana.

How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as just a follower because you are unsure if you’ll be able to achieve what is expected from you? Are you doubting yourself?  Are you having difficulty changing your self-image?

Self-image is how we picture ourselves of what we want to become. So how can we change that? Try visualization. Hold the image of the person of what you want to be. Look at yourself in the mirror.

Whenever I am asked to do something new which I am uncomfortable and feel that I am being challenged, I usually go to the mirror to see who that Cynthia is. When fear and self-doubt come into the picture, I see myself like a cat. A cat who would just hide and stay in one spot and be comfortable. But when I tried visualizing myself like a lion which shows courage, confidence and with a stronger personality, I begin to change how I see myself. Accompany that vision by talking to yourself aloud that “I am going to be the best person I am today because I know there is one person who needs my help.”

Your self-image is not permanent. It will vary as you grow, evolve, and as the way you view yourself, it changes. So don't allow yourself to get stuck living with a negative self-image.

Have you been in a situation wherein you were scared to speak the truth because you are scared of your life or someone else’s life?

Most of the time, we would just keep quiet and turn into habits which in the long run would destroy our well-being and our life completely.

Research shows that trauma survivors suffer more illnesses. For example, the Adverse Childhood Experience Study found that survivors of childhood trauma are some 5,000 percent more likely to use drugs, attempt suicide, and suffer an eating disorder.

Trauma has such a severe impact because of the way it affects, and ultimately, rewires the brain. When the brain goes into stress or is stuck in stress, it leads to physical changes and a complicated ripple of life-altering symptoms.

Let us listen to our guest, Jacqueline Williams. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, grew up in Amityville, Long Island and attended Long Island University and George Washington University, attaining a B.A. in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Education and Human Development. Now retired from her career, she worked as a Special Educator and Advocate for children diagnosed with chronic and terminal illness. She published a book, which is a memoir of her survival of childhood trauma. It is designed to show readers that they are not alone in their fight and can act as a stimulus for conversations that will encourage others to open up about their experiences and help them heal as a result.

Let’s listen to her inspiring story.

Based on the study conducted by AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving, they found that 43.5 million Americans provided unpaid care for a relative or friend during the prior 12-month period. That’s more than 13% of the population — a lot of caregivers. And numbers are growing.

But how does it feel to become one? I have heard a lot of caregivers, especially taking care of their elders, felt totally alone. They were overwhelmed by emotions—anger, guilt, despair, sorrow, confusion, anxiety, then later on fell into a depression.

Let us listen to Debbie Compton, who will share with us her experience of taking care her parents and how she was able to cope up with the obstacles and now have become a caregiver consultant and advocate.

What happens when you think you have lost your purpose?

While we were still young, for sure, we have always created our dreams and some even have discovered their purpose. All their life, they have visualized themselves already living their dream. What happens when suddenly your dream is starting to show uncertainty?

When your passion gets tough, your entire life — your choices, your values, your very sense of self — can suddenly take a hit. And unlike a typical job, a passion is much harder to compartmentalize, and even harder to give up.

So how do you keep going when your purpose starts to pull away? What do you do when the one thing that gives you meaning also makes you miserable?

Listen to our guest, Nini Veloso, who volunteers doing outreach program whom she founded, the Sunshine Club and works as the Corp Secretary of KALFI, a foundation providing integral formation to high school and university female students in the Philippines.

She visualized her dream by being a mother before she got married but was not given that opportunity. However, with God’s overflowing love and blessings, she was able to manifest her dream in a different way of being a mother.

Everyone goes through adversities. However, not everyone grows through them. In the face of adversity, growth is not an exclusive experience for the strong-willed. It is not an issue of how strong or how weak a person is, but about how willing they are to grow stronger or to outgrow their own weaknesses.

When I asked someone going through struggles, I asked him these two questions: “How do you feel?” and “What are you going to do about it?”

While the former question helps us assess our current condition, the latter encourages action and points us to our desired destination.

I would like to call it “the shift”—the transition from where we are to where we want to be.

So how do we make the shift? Let us listen to our guest speaker, Randy Brown, who is an inspirational speaker, author, and transformation coach.

He is known as “That Rebound Guy” based on his history with adversity, comebacks, and the art of rebounding. His message, “The Rebound Effect,” unveils a dramatic plunge to the depths of depression, two daughter's deaths, depression, addiction, divorce, prison, and a career lost forever. His goal is to help others realize that their best life comes through the storm. His transparency allows others to learn from his poor decisions which keeps them free of the drastic consequences he witnessed. In his own unique inspirational way, Randy brings hope, second chances, and a road that leads to an amazing life.

Why do some people choose fear instead of courage?

It takes courage to say No. Courage, contrary to popular belief, is not the absence of fear. Courage is the wisdom to act in spite of fear.

So, don’t be afraid to say NO to any opportunity that you meet in life. We never know what we can accomplish until we dare to try. It takes courage and determination. Knowing what we want, having goals and not being deterred by others’ opinions gives a special force to our existence. Having courage provides our lives with momentum and we discover our capabilities to live our purpose.

But what is usually stopping us? It’s our attitude and our mindset!

If most of our daily thoughts are negative they will reflect how we experience life. We can take our power back.

Listen to our guest speaker, Cheryl Verrett, a businesswoman, a coach, an author and a motivational speaker, who will share with us how courage was able to help her escape from depression when her business was hit by the real estate crash.

Know that it will take time, and use this time to create art, to better yourself, to work through your pain. Do anything that will let you exude those feelings elsewhere, and when you find happiness, do not let it go.

Loving yourself after trauma is a new beginning to love others. It is taking these emotions, these heartbreaks, the physical pain of endless nights of tears, and then channeling this into loving someone else.

Learning to love yourself is also learning how you express emotions for other people. It is a new beginning to loving healthy, to loving happily, to loving wholly. It is learning how to give pieces of your life away, to give yourself to someone else, to make the world a better place. The world cannot be a better place without you, and you must share everything you are with the world.

Let’s listen to Sara Adams, who is a Transformational Coach who was a victim of domestic abuse and how she transformed her life from pain to success.

According to Hale Dwoskin, "Emotions are just emotions.  They are not you, they are not facts, and you can let them go."

Did you know you create a lot of unnecessary pain in your life?  Each time you lock on to a thought, or hold onto an emotion, you suffer.  A great example of this is how you react to physical pain.  When you do so, you generate negative thoughts, and these thoughts create mental suffering.

  • What if it gets worse?

  • What if I fail?

  • With this pain, today's going to be challenging.

  • I don't have the money.  How will I pay hospital bills if things get worse?

This internal dialogue creates suffering but does nothing to help solve the problem.

Listen to this episode and you will discover how my suggested steps and tips can lead to the creation of strong emotions.  You will see what you can do to start letting go of emotions that aren't helping you achieve the life you want.

How do you see challenges in life? Would you consider them as threats or gifts?

Challenges are defined as those things, issues, or situations that seem tasking and difficult to handle. They are issues or situations that move us to our limit often. Hence, we can say that challenges in life are situations and issues that we find difficult to handle in life.

Are we able to transform our fear into an enthusiasm to engage with the new challenge and learn from it? How can these challenges help you manifest your dreams and live the life your love?

Can autism stop your dream?

I’ve read someone mentioned that she has to live in her own little world - daydream all the time. For a long time, it was a huge problem, because living in her imagination would often cause her not to pay attention in class. Don’t let your condition stop you from creating and manifesting your dream even at a very young age.

Listen to our guest speaker, Michael Ankers, who is 18 years old from United Kingdom. He shared with us his dream and what action steps he took to make it a reality. He even shared with us some tips on how to overcome those blockages that stops you from moving forward.

There are so many lessons I wish I had learned while I was young enough to appreciate and apply them. Have you heard the phrase “faith that moves mountains”?

This beloved phrase comes from Matthew 17:20: “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Faith removes them from our way, it makes them plain and they become as nothing before us. For nothing can stand in the way of a man or woman of faith.  It is really about trusting God and His will.

Listen to Eric Julien Sr., who experienced his rock bottom and how faith helped him stand up again and continue making a difference, not only to his children and grandchildren, but also to his clients and community.

Kids are hardwired to be negative. We all are. Back in our early evolution, there was so much detail and information in our environment that we focused on the negatives…the threats.

However, we can start at an early age to teach our children to manifest their dreams but eliminating those negative thoughts.  How can we do that?

Listen to Alli Arms Arney, a career coach and the founder of Buffalo Diamond Consulting, whose main goal is to help individuals face their career storms with confidence.  She also manifested their family farm for eight years that will help sustain their family's daily healthy food requirement, as well as other people's needs.

How was she able to be a model to her children and what strategy did she use to teach her children eliminate negative words in their vocabulary?  When you focus on positive thoughts, then that becomes a reality.

How does manifestation work?  Others would say that when you think about something, it can come true.  Others believe that if you're a good person, good things will happen to you.  Are they true?  While both of these are components of manifesting your dreams, they are missing a key element. Your beliefs play an influential role in manifestation.

Your beliefs, that is what you value about yourself and believe to be true, influence everything from how you see the world, how you react to others, the words you choose, and every decision that you make, truly leads to dream manifestation. If you are trying to manifest something into reality, you must first begin by looking at the beliefs that may be limiting your ability to do this as well as those that color your actions and choices.

For awhile, things seem to move along fine. You may even start to see small changes taking place that seem to confirm you are on the right track and making progress.  You may encounter some obstacles that threaten your belief and your life may seem to “fall apart”.  How will you handle this?

Listen to Dagmar Bryant, from LIncoln, UK, who will share with us how she was able to manifest her dreams by believing.

How would you know if your belief system is working for you or against you?

What have been running in your thoughts? Are those positive or negative thoughts? Are they making you excited or dragging you from manifesting what you want to manifest in life?

Belief systems affect every area of your life. Beliefs affect most of your emotions, thoughts you think, productivity, relationships, and attitude.

Why should you take notice of your belief system? Your belief system will determine what kind of decisions you make for yourself in terms of health, food, exercise, performance, financial freedom, happiness, lasting relationships or create drama in these areas. If you feel that your life, emotions, or your mind is out of control then what is it that has control? It is your beliefs, most of which are unconscious that have control of your mind. Unless you become aware and begin to take charge of your beliefs your beliefs will continue to have control of your thoughts and emotions.

Your belief systems affect every area of your life, most importantly they will affect your happiness and misery. They are behind your emotional outbursts, anxiety, depression, insecurity, financial decisions, intimacy issues, commitment, and how effective you communicate. It will direct you whether you feel worthy enough to be happy, or whether you feel it is even possible to make changes. If your belief system is programmed with, “This is just the way I am, and I will always be this way,” then it will prevent you from considering options that would help you have a life you want.

Listen to Andrea Rice how she became a seeker of knowledge after going through so much in life. She believed now that that she could do more for others hence, she started her business, "Our Daydream" (seeing life in different lights).

When we mention about gifts, it reminds us of something we receive during our birthdays and Christmas season, which can come in many sizes and shapes. I am sure, there is nothing better than seeing the gleaming eyes and joyful expression when someone opens what we have given them! It really is a feeling that is difficult to describe in another way besides joyful.

Gifts may not only come in the form of material things. Gift is another term for the talent that was given to us by God. This may be in the form of being a writer, poet, musician, artist, and many other forms. How will you know that is a gift? If we enjoy doing it. It gives us so much life and passion. When we use what has been given to us, share this to others, and see their smile on their faces, how do you feel? I am sure it always makes you smile and gives you an extra boost when someone compliments your work. There is no better feeling.

We are all humans with a unique purpose, but in the hustle and bustle of the world, it is easy to forget how much we matter and mean to others. We all try the best we can to live up to our purpose, but sometimes, we fall short. This is no fault of our own. Sometimes, pressure can take over and make you believe even the wildest misconceptions about yourself.

We are often like puzzles. Sometimes, life makes sense and fits together perfectly. In other instances, no matter what we do, we cannot seem to find where we fit.

Listen to Lafonda Blackmon how she was able to use her gift to benefit others. We know that we are not perfect, and sometimes, our attempt to help others may fail. What matters most is how we use our God-given gift to rise again. It is not how you fall but how you refuse to quit and always dust yourself off. That's what makes our life more enriching and fulfilled.

"We all know people who garner a great sense of meaning even in the most unpleasant circumstances. …Their pain is real; their sense of doing something truly meaningful is substantial. To move past trauma, you must begin to shift your belief from a victim mindset into a creator mindset. A creator believes that they have the power to turn their mess into their message and move past it, creating a new outcome for themselves. Although you may have been a victim in the incident, you do not need to continue to choose to remain a victim by living in the victim mindset.

When you are living in a victim state of mind you are not taking responsibility for your life or your emotions, you are blaming others for the way you are & feel sorry for yourself. When you are living in a creator state of mind you are stepping up to take the necessary responsibilities and actions to improve your life.

Can trauma lead to a successful life?

Major life transitions include a wide range of events. A life transition is a large move, going back to school, a breakup, grief, or having a child, and many more. These transitions often lead to past traumas rearing their ugly heads. Women are frequently faced with the struggle of going through a life change. They are expected to balance this while recognizing after-effects of previous abusive experiences. After-effects that are both physiologically and physically effective.

Even trauma from childhood can continue to cause stress and mental health challenges later in life. Recognizing these connections can often help reduce the fear that comes along with previous trauma transitions.

Trauma has many negative effects, yet some people find meaning.

Listen to Olivia Bolt's story on how she changed her way of thinking when she learned how to love herself despite the bullying and the negative treatment shown to her by other people.  This boosted her self-confidence, increased her self-worth, had more meaningful relationships, started her own business and now impacting other people.

How would you feel if your goals are still kept a fantasy and unable to achieve them?  Do you feel frustrated?  Unmotivated?

Most of the time, we just quit and move to another goal whenever you experience struggles.  Why do they quit?  Because they don't want to experience pain, hardships and would prefer to stay within their comfort zone.  Going through the struggles, which include fear, will make you the person you want to become - full of confidence, growth mindset, positivity and more fulfilled.

Teresa King will share with us how she was focusing on her business that is doing very well, then suddenly her son got shot.  Fortunately, her son survived but is now paralyzed from waist down.  I truly understand how it feels for a mother to experience such trauma, especially if it involves their children.  But what did she do that made her view life in a positive way?

All her business plans had to pause for a while so she can focus more on her son.  According to her, "A delay is not a denial.  Don't ever think that you cannot manifest whatever the universe has planned for you.  You can!  You may have to pivot your life a little bit.  But don't ever quit!"

May I ask you .  Do you quit easily?  Do you consider it as an option?

According to Eckhart Toole, “The present moment is all you ever have. There is never a time when your life is not “this moment”. The moment you become conscious of it, it’s over.

Thinking and reflecting about the past allows us to learn from our mistakes. Without dwelling on this, we would never develop into intelligent beings. The same idea is true about planning for the future. We wish the future to be promising, and the only way to achieve that in our busy schedule is to plan accordingly. This will relieve us from whatever is pressuring us and be in a better situation. Only you can live in the moment.

What is procrastination? Procrastination is the action of unnecessarily and voluntarily delaying or postponing something despite knowing that there will be negative consequences for doing so.

It is a common human experience involving delay in everyday chores or even putting off relevant tasks such as attending an appointment, submitting a job report or academic assignment, or broaching a stressful issue with a partner. Although typically perceived as a negative trait due to its hindering effect on one's productivity often associated with depression, low self-esteem, guilt and inadequacy, it can also be considered a wise response to certain demands that could present risky or negative outcomes or require waiting for new information to arrive.

Fear restricts your growth by limiting your potential. When you hold on, you trap yourself within a circle, your comfort zone. So, what happens when you constrict yourself in that circle? Unhappiness, dissatisfaction and lack of peace. Your body feels the effect of fear; fear stresses your entire body, mind and soul.

Fear is often the key factor when people run away from their problems. When we confront our fear, we learn not only the challenge that we face, but also the process of confronting and overcoming it. We need to understand fear. Learn about it. Connect with your fear, learn to solve to overcome and not escape from it.

So let go, give yourself space to grow, breathe and be free. Allow the light in to help you grow to your full potential.

We have the power and capacity to create the dream by design or by default.  The point of power is within, and what is within us is far greater than anything in our surroundings.  It means that the power of our lives is not in the circumstances and conditions that we see all around us (like fears, past pains, paradigms, etc.).  Each of us has a true power within us.
