The truth is, we weren’t promised an easy life. In fact, Jesus was very clear about the troubles we’d face here on Earth. [John 16:33]

But the gracious thing about God is that He can use everything if we allow Him. It’s in scripture that all things work together for the good who love The Lord and are called according to His purpose. [Romans 8:28]

The right one podcast is a yes to God. And when our back is against the wall; we’re still chosen, He still sees us, we’re still the right ones. That never changed.

Come receive with me.

Part of dealing with growing pains is recognizing there needs to be a different approach. It's tough because we're forced to view and dissect things about ourselves that are keeping us from growing. What are you doing that's the same thing you were doing last year, that could use a different approach? Especially if that means getting a different result?

I think letting our feelings sit in the driver seat can be dangerous. Because if we only "do" when we feel capable or worthy, we limit ourselves to only being able to perform when we feel good, and we know we may not always feel good!

We're obviously not exempt from having feelings. I just want to offer us another perspective and see what it's like to push pass the feeling to get something done. Not saying the feeling will always go away, but what if we can set them to the side for a minute? What if we didn't have to unpack every feeling we had? What if we just did "it"?

Let me explain and listen to this episode!

But 2 years later, it feels like many lives are changing and so is our world. To the point where it seems like our environments are forcing us to access a different version of ourselves we’ve never met before - not sure if it's just me.

It’s like there’s been a shift, and I feel like it’s not just in my life. I feel like the shift is requiring a side of myself and maybe you too, that we’ve never known before.

I have to admit, it’s uncomfortable. The thought of accessing an upgraded version of yourself seems nice but the work is something that is often ignored. I’m hoping we can talk about it here. But I think we need to start with the undoing…
