This time my dear friend Penelope Klamert visited my living room and we had an awesome chat and a few laughs.

We talked about the struggles of foreign dancers trying to find themselves in London’s dance world. We touched on auditions and how we go about them. We also talked through class etiquette. Amongst other interesting topics of course. 😏 I hope you enjoy it. If you do, let us know! :) @space2elevate on Instagram, see you there!

Penelope Klamert was born and bred in Vienna, Austria and is currently enjoying the journey of a self-employed artist living in London.

If you ask what character trait a dancer or creative has to have, confidence would be most likely somewhere in the top 5. In theory, we know how much power it has but in practice, we all struggle to harness it. I decided to create this episode to give us a little bit more understanding of what confidence really is? What does it give us? Where do we struggle with it? and how we can work on it? I work on confidence with a lot of my coaching clients as well. If you'd like to work on it with me visit my website www.olapapior.com and simply drop me a message through a contact form.

This episode might be a little different from others but I decided to be transparent and share how I feel. Authenticity is one of the most important values for me and I want this podcast to represent that as well. I'm letting you in a little bit more on my vulnerable side to show you that even after 20 years you can have some worries. Everything I said honestly proves how important it is for creatives to actively work on their mindset. Without it, it's extremely easy to get lost in this world. If you want to find more ways to do it check out my Elevate page - www.olapapior.com/elevate

I'm not gonna lie, I had loads of fun recording this episode. I went on a journey with an analogy that connects very well with the life of a dancer. I feel that everyone who does something creative might relate with it as well. Have a listen to find out what I compared dance to. It's amazing how everything at the end is still connected with self-work and self-awareness. I work a lot on this aspect with my clients in every ELEVATE program. If you want to know more check it out on my website www.olapapior.com/elevate.

In this episode I went on a journey with our habits. To be more precise the one when we like to complain. What is the deal with that? Are we trying to cover something? Or we're afraid to be optimistic? I'm gonna try to question this and everything related to it. Hopefully leaving you with another perspective on your conversations. It's a good reminder that what we focus on is what will stay with us. I work on this a lot with my clients in every ELEVATE program. If you want to know more check it out on my website www.olapapior.com/elevate

This time a dived a little deeper into talking about the present moment and questioned if we appreciate it enough? I also took it further and made a little comparison with our creative work. How being present relates to our creative lives? Have a listen to find out. Also I finally managed to compare dance to wine... Enjoy ;)

This episode is a result of a very interesting question I was asked by one of my students. It sparked the whole waterfall of thoughts and I decided it'll be worth putting it into a podcast episode in case anyone else has the same question. Have a listen if you want to hear what was the mysterious question and see how you feel about it aswell.

In this episode I question our internal dialog. Our brain can trick us a little bit but once we know who we are really talking with then we're in charge. Tune in for some stories from my own experience and some ideas on how we can all be friends with these voices.
