In this session she discusses about Yoga & Ayurveda tips to deal with seasonal concerns that come with the onset of Autumn season. Ayurveda & Yoga associate us with nature & its functioning, nature being the macrocosm & we are the microcosms. Any energetic shift in nature replicates itself within our body & mind.
During autumn season, the energy in nature is gradually shifting from the heat of summer to the dryness & roughness of autumn. Autumn is the season of abundant air (vata) energy & we see how rough wind dries & blows the leaves off trees, creates dryness & roughness in the atmosphere & creates similar effects of dryness in our body. Mind also gets equally impacted by the vastness of vata energy, feeling a sense of emptiness & spaciness.Deepti is the deeply passionate about awakening and empowering people on how to live their best life ever. Breath may sound like a disconnected area with our physiology and psychology, the ancient Yog️is knew this little secret that breath is life and life is breath. Thus, who is once a Yogi is always a Yogi, rather keeps getting deeper because the secret to regulating health at the very root level lies in the art of breath. While working on health front for any health concern, when we do everything that is needed be it diet control, lifestyle changes, exercise, supplements, medications or any other efforts, no-one ever told us the role of breath for anything from cold, cough, weight, gastric issues, constipation, inflammation, high blood pressure to even cancer. Most nutritious foods may become poison in a body that lacks enough breath, most effective exercises may not work and weight may not get touched until breath pushes all toxins out. However, knowing how to create right breath is a science and an art. The same breath that flows freely gives us everything from lean attractive body to beauty to a stress free mind.
Listen to this phenomenal session by Anchal Pilani on how breath is at the root of biology, chemistry, physiology and psychology. How body functions has a huge dependency on how one breathes.

What you studied about body systems in biology is equally applicable to how you look and feel!
Physiologically your body systems are your beauty systems as these control deeply how your skin and mind behaves irrespective of what you eat, exercise or live. When it comes to beauty, what you need to understand is that your beauty systems are fueled by foods or exercising regimes. If you learn how to optimize these beauty systems, beauty, energy, vitality can be attained at the eternal level.

Kerry Loeb is a Barefoot Shiatsu expert for more than 20 years. Barefoot Shiatsu is an ancient Japanese acupuncture art of healing the body through self-massage. In Japanese, Shiatsu means finger (shi), atsu (pressure) & this modality is based on the 12 meridian paths of energy on the body. Shiatsu can be effectively used for relief for body aches and pains and stress conditions. It is an excellent way to boost immune system, energy, muscle tone and flexibility.
This technique focusses on using your feet to very effectively free up energy. The technique is based in Eastern Medicine that believes if the energy is moving unimpeded through the 14 meridians and the correlative internal organs, then illness, health imbalances, disease, and even chronic pain cannot exist. This technique demonstrates how we can release any stuck energy in another’s body, simply by using out feet on various parts of the body. This helps to achieve increased energy, a reduction of stress, a reduction or elimination of pain, increased possibilities for the prevention of injuries, and the ability to heal faster if injuries should occur.
Kerry learnt the classic Barefoot Shiatsu technique 35 years ago during a 7-year apprenticeship with Shizuko Yamamoto, the developer of this style. He has taught this very popular class for over 25 years at his center, The Macrobiotic Shiatsu Resource Center, in the San Francisco Bay Area, and in other locations. He was a health/lifestyle counselor for 20 years after two 7-year simultaneous apprenticeships with Shizuko Yamamoto and Patrick McCarty. He continues to teach Barefoot Shiatsu classes on Zoom and has developed a comprehensive online health programs on this practice.
