This episode is for everyone who wants to level up in every area of their life this year. I'll go over the seven non-negotiable things that you need to incorporate into your life to become the most dangerous and amazing version of yourself. Making these non-negotiables a part of your life will make leveling up inevitable.

There's a lot of talk on social media about being “that girl,” which often relates to a skincare routine or external appearance. In our community, we aim to not only look good but also to be strong in our mindset and possess emotional intelligence. As Dangerous Women, we represent the whole package. I'm going to discuss how to take the thoughts and ideas around being “that girl” externally and merge them with the elements necessary to be a Dangerous Woman.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:25] 1. Start incorporating a morning routine. Customize your routine to your life and where you are.
  • [03:17] Slow down long enough to wake up and pray or meditate or journal. Have some quiet time to check in with yourself.
  • [04:19] Get into the consistent habit of starting your morning more slowly.
  • [05:10] 2. Move your body in some way. You don't have to take class or buy equipment, just move your body in a way that's fun for you.
  • [06:23] 3. I want you to take the time, preferably, as part of your routine to journal.
  • [07:02] Start making journaling and writing out your thoughts a part of your life.
  • [07:43] Spend time asking yourself what's going on with you and how are you feeling.
  • [08:02] 4. Eat in a way that nourishes your body and helps you with your goals to be healthy and strong.
  • [10:04] You might need to prepare meals in advance, so you don't just grab whatever's available when you get super hungry. Do an evaluation of how you can nourish your body in better ways.
  • [10:53] 5. Have a schedule. This is what you do 99% of the time on rotation. Following a regular schedule will change your life.
  • [12:49] 6. Get a hobby that challenges you and forces you into discomfort. That puts you at a beginner level and requires you to think in a new way.
  • [15:32] 7. Understand your money. Look at your money no matter how much or how little you have. Know what your numbers are.
  • [16:27] We need to learn how to handle our money in a way that benefits us and our families.
  • [18:14] Focus on these things and make them non-negotiables in your life.

If you've been struggling with your self-confidence lately, this episode is for you. This week, we're focusing on building self-confidence through our inner dialogue. By examining how we talk to ourselves, we can foster a more confident, resilient, and growth-oriented mindset, leading to an improved self-image.

In this episode, we'll explore several practical tips that you can apply today to boost your self-confidence. Remember, confident individuals are formidable. Even in moments of doubt, they know how to regain their confidence.

Don't underestimate the power of positive self-talk and the profound impact it can have on your life. Each step you take towards nurturing your self-confidence is a step towards unlocking your full potential

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:25] 1. Start practicing positive affirmations. I don't mean fake it till you make it. Begin your day believing the words that you are saying in your affirmations.
  • [04:13] Begin and end your day with these affirmations.
  • [04:37] Think about what you wish was true about you. Take this thought and create "but" statements that will become your affirmations.
  • [05:53] An example would be: "I feel like I'm not quite capable, but I'm taking a class and studying, so I feel like I know what I'm doing."
  • [05:57] Combine how you currently feel, add a "but" statement, customize it, and take the action.
  • [07:45] 2. The second thing I want you to pay attention to is challenging negative thoughts.
  • [08:02] When you catch yourself engaging in negative thoughts, start challenging that inner mean girl. Ask if it's true and if you still want it to be true. Look for holes that you can poke in those negative thoughts.
  • [09:00] 3. Using visualization. Daydreaming is an important skill. Start seeing yourself in the different areas of your life being successful. Use your self-dialogue for your good.
  • [10:02] 4. Focus on growth and not perfection. Perfection is a way to protect ourselves from discomfort. Focus on things that help you grow, not be perfect.
  • [12:48] 5. Surround yourself with positivity. Not just your inner self-dialogue but also the people around you.
  • [13:11] Have a go-to friend that really pours into you.
  • [13:34] If you're feeling stuck, look at who you spend the most time with.
  • [14:19] 6. Practice gratitude and celebrate.
  • [16:27] 7. Embrace self-compassion. We have such a tendency to be angry with ourselves when we're not where we believe we should be. Practice having the same kindness and understanding for yourself that you would offer to a friend.
  • [17:39] Instead of beating yourself up for something, you can say "You're so cute."

We'll explore practical strategies for nurturing friendships that withstand the pressures of adult responsibilities. Because let's face it, as we navigate the complexities of maturity, career paths, and personal life, the balancing act never seems to end. • [11:32] You need to be willing to modify the time and frequency of communication without it altering your commitment to the friendship.
  • [12:07] Reciprocate efforts. Everyone has responsibilities. Don't leave the responsibility of maintaining the friendship on one person.
  • [14:10] Foster the relationships that are there for you and celebrate the small things. Also, be present for the hard times. The best friendships stand the test of time and the ups and downs of life.

Have you tried everything possible and still find yourself not where you want to be? In this discussion, I'll address how to determine whether you're being too hard on yourself or too lenient. Generally, people fall into two categories: those who are overly critical of themselves and those who don't realize they are too lenient.

I'll cover several key points, including recognizing the right moments to engage, finding a balanced approach, and providing tips for self-assessment to help you understand whether you're being too easy or too hard on yourself.

I approach the topics of procrastination and perfectionism, explaining how these behaviors can hinder progress. Finally, I'll discuss the issue of limited time and the importance of evaluating whether your goals truly align with your desires

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:42] We want to be in the middle of the two extremes of being too hard or too lenient on yourself.
  • [02:03] Finding middle ground will be very important when trying to establish anything new in your life.
  • [02:16] A talk for those who are being too easy on themselves. Self diagnosis includes asking if you are always making excuses, procrastinating, or constantly switching the plan or the goal.
  • [03:41] Commonly used reasons for not moving.
  • [04:25] Procrastination and perfectionism will keep you stuck.
  • [08:07] The flip side of being too easy on yourself is being too hard on yourself. You are using perfectionism like a hammer.
  • [10:27] For every reason you have to not progress and go further, ask yourself if this is really true.
  • [11:15] We need to know how we spend our time, because our brains will validate not having time.
  • [12:53] Make sure you're very clear about what your goal is.
  • [14:37] Set goals that give you early wins so you don't get discouraged and quit.
  • [15:27] Create a routine that you follow and make it non-negotiable.
  • [17:08] There will be bumps on the road, your goal is to continue becoming the woman who makes the changes and reaches the goal.

If you need a quick push to get into action and create an amazing year, this episode is for you. This week, I'm doing a rapid-fire talk about why you could be in mediocrity and how to start taking action to get out of it. This is a wake-up call, so that you don’t settle into this year like you did last year.

If you aren't paying attention and taking intentional action, this year will look exactly like last year. We’ve talked about this dozens of times in our community, but there’s never a time it doesn’t need to be revisited. If you’re living below your version of your best life, you are officially living in mediocrity. Let’s make this year different.

This podcast revolves around what we'll be working on in our first session of the Dangerous Woman Society on January 23rd. If you would like to join, it's $99 a month for monthly group coaching sessions, monthly lessons, accountability, and a community that's going through the same things you are.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:02] If you're living a life that is below your version of your best life, you are officially in mediocrity.
  • [02:36] How you may have gotten to this place. It could be a lack of awareness.
  • [03:09] If you never take a look at where you are or think about what you want, you'll never even consider making changes in your life.
  • [03:15] Rate your life on a scale of 1-10 in relationships, career, business, money, and health.
  • [04:05] 2024 is a perfect time to revisit your ratings and see where you are.
  • [04:51] Other reasons you could feel stuck are an attachment to your comfort zone and an unwillingness to leave it.
  • [05:14] Unclear goals or waiting for support from others could also be in issue.
  • [06:02] What would you do if you didn't feel fear or any other negative feelings?
  • [06:35] Your homework is to evaluate your life in health, relationships, money, career or business, and identify the Gap from where you are and where you want to be. Ask yourself the reason why you aren't where you want to be.
  • [06:57] Make a commitment to being a woman who takes intentional action with the knowledge of what has been holding you back.
  • [07:23] This is what we'll be working on in the first session of the Dangerous Woman Society on January 23rd.
  • [07:33] Joining the Dangerous Woman Society will give you a community that makes you feel less alone. You'll see women in the same spot that you are and those that aren't even there yet.
  • [08:03] There will be people that you can Inspire and people that you will be inspired by.
  • [08:59] You are not mediocre. You may not be there yet, but being in progress is important. That is this work.

Do you ever struggle with achieving your biggest dreams or goals? Using the art of delusion might be the key to your success. I explain what this means and give steps to take an honest look at your life and the emotions that come up. No more pushing down and repressing those emotions. No more responding immediately without taking a step back.

The next step is up to you. You have a choice in how you’ll look at the situation. It might not be as bad as you think and you can use the art of delusion to look at things in a different light. Believing that things will get better can be life changing and that’s our goal for 2024.

This is the work that we are doing in the Dangerous Woman Society, a monthly membership community that will create a nurturing and uplifting atmosphere, fostering support and encouragement.

You'll get group coaching and lessons. You can ask questions and personalize the experience. You'll also get access to a powerful community of women who are just like you. All for $99 per month, with the flexibility to cancel anytime.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:35] The art of delusion is when you believe that things will be okay and get better even when they aren't going according to plan.
  • [02:08] As challenges and struggles arise in your life, look at them for exactly what they are. Be real, raw, and honest about what's going on in your situation.
  • [03:00] The only reason you wouldn't face the reality of what it would be if you couldn't handle the emotions that come with it.
  • [03:06] This year we are going to focus on learning to handle the emotions that come with being a human being and having a human life experience. This is the year we learn how to do life better.
  • [03:43] Challenges are here to teach us and help us to grow.
  • [04:37] Give yourself permission to feel the emotions that do come up when you look at things as they are.
  • [05:25] Look at the situation from an honest place. Feel whatever comes up. Now you have a choice. You can look at the situation from whatever angle comes up.
  • [06:45] It's not delusional to look at things in a better light. It's faith.
  • [06:54] Faith is believing in something that isn't as if it already was.
  • [08:24] Thinking that things are changing for the better makes a complete difference in your life.
  • [10:03] This year I want you to know yourself at the deepest and most intimate level.
  • [11:12] Take what you feel and connect it to what you believe.
  • [12:32] Have an anchor where you can create your own "but" statement to stop the descent into overwhelm or discouragement.
  • [13:33] Look at things how they are and choose to believe that there are better days ahead.

It's a new year, and I hope you're feeling excited, optimistic, and ready for growth and learning. This episode focuses on redefining kindness, especially in relationships. We'll explore how to overcome the fear of hurting people's feelings, empowering you to make better decisions and confidently follow your own path.

Starting this January, the Dangerous Woman Society is opening its doors. Perfect for those who've been working independently, it offers an enhanced experience with monthly group coaching, challenges, and accountability. Featuring on-demand classes on specific topics, it's ideal for newcomers to coaching looking to dive deeper.

Priced at $99 per month, with the flexibility to cancel anytime. The community will create a nurturing and uplifting atmosphere, fostering support and encouragement among members.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:57] Most of us are certified good girls who don't like to hurt people's feelings.
  • [04:15] Many of us think it would be cruel and hurtful to tell someone how we really feel. We don't want to upset the other person or have them think we're being mean.
  • [05:03] Many of us believe that not hurting other people's feelings is kindness. The problem with this thought process is that we're not responsible for other people's feelings.
  • [05:47] If someone feels love, it's because they're having loving thoughts about another person.
  • [06:11] You must release yourself from the responsibility of making anyone feel anything whether it's good or bad.
  • [06:42] It's not kind to not be transparent or truthful in your relationships for fear of hurting someone's feelings.
  • [07:39] Begin to associate complete honesty with kindness. Associate clarity with kindness. Ambiguity is not kindness.
  • [10:00] Making decisions based on the feelings of someone else will leave you angry and discouraged in the relationship. The most kind thing you can do in any relationship is offer honesty.
  • [11:09] Free yourself from the thought that it's cruel or unkind to be honest.

Do you ever struggle with knowing when and how to ask for help? If so, this episode is for you. We're talking about how to avoid the trap of superwoman syndrome and managing everything independently. This is the 2024 Mindset Makeover Part 2.

Even when busy during the holidays, you likely still have thoughts and dreams for the upcoming year. We are going to talk about how to turn those dreams into reality. We've previously discussed the mindset steps.

Today, we’re focusing on the critically important execution phase. I'll discuss when and whether to seek help after completing the mindset work and formulating a plan of action.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:00] Define what matters most to you and clarify your priorities.
  • [04:02] What is your zone of genius?
  • [05:07] Will the time you save getting support from someone else outweigh the cost of doing it yourself? Identify the benefits.
  • [07:22] Will doing it yourself and learning a new skill set really matter to you?
  • [08:57] The tricky part about deciding whether you should ask for help or not is where you're avoiding the discomfort of a task and just letting someone else do it. Or even if you think if someone else does it it'll be an immediate success.
  • [09:41] I want you to be able to distinguish and catch when you are trying to avoid growth.
  • [14:06] When I signed up for a coaching program, the relief I felt should have been a red flag for me when I thought of not having to do something that is essential for my business.
  • [14:52] I wanted the program to do the heavy lifting and relieve me from the discomfort of doing what I needed to do.
  • [16:11] I want you to be aware of how easy it is to fall prey to taking the easy way out.
  • [17:00] Knowingly choosing discomfort isn't easy. You need to be mindful of how your brain will try to escape from any discomfort.
  • [17:12] Examples of when it's good to ask for help include working with a financial planner, a certified trainer, hiring a housekeeper, or ordering groceries.
  • [18:35] A life coach can see your blind spots and point them out to you in a way that your friends and family aren't going to.
  • [19:52] As a business owner, you need to learn how to deal with the rejection before hiring someone to do the sales and follow up for you.
  • [20:21] Knowing when to ask for help is vital. It's important to know your motives behind asking for help.

Are you struggling with being perceived as 'too nice' when you want to be seen as a strong leader? This interview with Fran Hauser is a must-listen. Fran, the author of The Myth of the Nice Girl, brings a wealth of experience as a media executive, advocate for women and girls, and an investor in over 30 female-led companies. She’s a best-selling author, speaker, and a truly wise and genuine person.

She frequents conferences and organizations, empowering women to build fulfilling careers without compromising their authenticity. Our discussion dives into crucial topics such as overcoming the urge to please everyone, increasing self-awareness, and self-advocacy. Fran's insights shine a light on how to maintain our true selves, stay kind, and emerge as respected leaders.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:06] Being nice has been helpful to Fran's career. She could negotiate with real win-win outcomes. She was able to show empathy, build relationships, and deep connections.
  • [04:07] She also had young women coming to her and asking how she could be so nice yet successful.
  • [04:53] Fran became more comfortable with who she was and was able to list how being nice helped her business.
  • [05:30] Once she became more established, people stopped saying she was too nice.
  • [06:16] There are more corporate cultures that encourage employees to show up in a way that's aligned with their values. There's more diversity, and there's a huge difference in corporate culture today.
  • [07:13] Fran shares how she tried to get away from the nice girl image early in her career. She took bad advice and went over someone's head to get something done, and it damaged her relationship with this person.
  • [08:43] It felt awful to hurt her feelings. That's when I learned that I really messed up, and I'm not going to try to be a person that I'm not.
  • [09:30] As a leader, you can set the tone and work in an environment of respect even if you don't agree. It's more difficult when you're a team member and not the leader.
  • [12:06] People pleasing is having no boundaries and saying yes to everything. Check in with yourself and ask if you're saying yes because this is aligned with your priorities. Am I saying yes, because I feel bad saying no? It's an important distinction.
  • [14:45] Advocating for yourself doesn't mean that you're not a nice person. You can ask for more money or to be put on that high-profile project.
  • [15:43] People-pleasing can show up in many different ways. Fran shares an experience from her early career where she learned the importance of self-awareness and learning from her mistakes.
  • [17:59] Is being a nice girl a superpower? Being kind, empathetic, and warm enables you to connect more deeply and build stronger relationships.
  • [18:43] You need to set boundaries and not let people walk all over you or take advantage of you.
  • [20:27] The importance of getting feedback from trusted friends.
  • [21:56] Fran's head and heart are with helping aspiring authors get their books out.
  • [24:08] You deserve to have a great week. Be clear on what really matters to you. Where do you want to spend your time? What are your priorities? How can you set healthy boundaries around those?
  • [25:18] We have control over our time, energy, to-do list, and to-don't list.

Join me as I guide you through the essential steps to mentally and physically gear up for an outstanding new year. Whether 2023 was a year of challenges or a year where your expectations weren’t fully met, this fresh start is your opportunity to shine.

In either case, we'll navigate these feelings and strategize to set you up for unparalleled success. Welcome to Part 1 of our two-part series, where we'll focus on cultivating a winning mindset to kickstart your journey.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:53] It's time to take this mindset information in and put it into practice. Take action.
  • [03:30] Evaluate your year. Ask yourself the following questions. 1. How am I different now than I was in January? Think about the positives and the negatives. How have the positive changes impacted your life?
  • [04:08] 2. How have I stayed the same? How has this helped or hindered me?
  • [04:35] After answering these questions, ask yourself where you believe that you have the most work to do.
  • [07:03] I've noticed that there were times where I just coasted in my business. I looked at the tangible outcomes and my business and clients have increased, but I didn't hit all of my goals.
  • [09:00] Know when and where you need to push and where you need to pause. This is important as you decide how you want 2024 to look.
  • [10:25] Have a picture of what you want the year to look like before you go out and set your big goals. Envision what you want your everyday life to be like.
  • [11:08] Everything is determined by how you answer the question of what you want your life to look like.
  • [12:44] Allow yourself to dream and listen to the information that comes up in your mind.
  • [13:25] When you capture all the thoughts about your dreams, your unconscious limitations will come up. Challenge these thoughts and fight for the opposite.
  • [15:33] Fight for the possibilities as opposed to fighting for the limitations.
  • [18:06] Practice catching your limiting thoughts and ignoring other people's possible limiting thoughts.
  • [19:52] After you've tackled what you want your life to look like and the limiting thoughts, then it's time to work on the how.
  • [20:40] Really take time and spend it on these two steps and next week we will tackle the action stage.

If this year and this season have been really hard for you, this episode is for you. Today, I'm talking about what to do when everything doesn't feel okay. It's almost the end of 2023, a year that has been challenging for me personally and in my business. I know that many of you have also been dealing with grief, anger, sadness, and even hopelessness. It's time for all of us to collectively learn how to get through tough times and come out stronger on the other side. Challenges and struggles are normal, and so are the feelings they evoke. I'll share how to work through your emotions and feelings without reacting negatively. Episode Highlights: * [02:00] You are allowed to feel whatever you feel. * [03:15] Release the need to compare struggles or edit and correct the feelings you are having. * [04:07] Most people allow themselves to respond from negative emotions as if there was no other choice. * [05:31] You'll start seeing a big shift when you decide to no longer be a puppet to your emotions. * [05:54] Look at the circumstances that make you feel like things aren't okay. Get out all of the thoughts. These are real and valid feelings. * [06:50] It's okay to not be okay all of the time. We want to feel, acknowledge, and process, but not respond. * [08:19] Talk about the worst-case scenario and what would happen if things got worse. Feel the feelings of what this would mean if it really happened. * [09:04] The light at the end of the tunnel is that by facing your fear, it no longer has a grip on you. * [09:27] What would you do if your worst-case scenario became a reality? * [11:08] After facing the negative emotions, what is your next step? * [13:35] Commit to riding the emotional roller coaster. * [14:06] If you don't feel okay right now, that's okay. * [14:51] Find small pockets of joy and peace and write those moments down.

As the year progresses, the pace quickens with a flurry of responsibilities, demands, invitations, and, inevitably, guilt. That's precisely why I felt it was important to revisit my previously published Episode 9, which delves into the crucial topic of setting boundaries.

In this episode, I guide you through the process of establishing healthy boundaries—a practice that not only improves your interactions with others but also nurtures a more loving relationship with yourself. I'll address the common pitfalls of setting boundaries incorrectly, such as using them to exert control in a relationship or failing to maintain the established limits.

I explain how poorly set boundaries can detrimentally impact your relationships. Then, I show how appropriately set boundaries can promote love, connection, and intimacy, enriching your interactions with others as well as with yourself. You will receive a three-step process for creating healthy boundaries and actionable steps that you can put into practice starting today.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:37] Boundaries are the rules we set for ourselves in relationships. They are a form of protection for a personal, mental, and physical space.
  • [02:06] Boundaries make it clear what you will and will not tolerate in your life. Setting boundaries correctly helps create more intimacy and connection.
  • [02:44] If you set up a boundary trying to control a person's behavior, you are setting up an ultimatum. This is like withholding affection until they do what you want them to do. This is an example of a poorly set boundary.
  • [04:14] Handing over how you feel to another person is a sign of personal weakness.
  • [04:20] Another problematic behavior is not upholding your boundary when violated.
  • [04:45] Not following through with the consequences of your boundaries makes them a request. This can be an issue for people who are people pleasers. They might think that they are being unkind or cruel by following through with the consequences of their boundaries.
  • [05:14] When people violate the boundaries you present to them, you become resentful and feel disrespected because you think they shouldn't do that.
  • [06:44] Resentment by not enforcing boundaries or not having your boundaries expected reduces the opportunity for a genuine loving relationship.
  • [07:02] The most significant damage of not setting boundaries correctly is the damage that it does to you. You're robbing yourself of control.
  • [08:57] I want to teach you how to set boundaries so that you can create healthy relationships with other people and yourself.
  • [09:11] #1 You need to communicate clearly what your boundary is. #2 Clearly communicate what you will do if the boundary is violated. The consequence of a boundary always states what you will do if the other person doesn’t honor the boundary.
  • [11:24] Allow the other person to decide how they will behave moving forward. You're not controlling their behavior. They have the free will to continue doing the behavior, and you have the free will to follow through with the consequences. #3 Follow through.
  • [12:50] Setting boundaries the correct way with the intention of honoring both you and the other person is the most loving, honest, and genuine thing you can do in any relationship.
  • [13:49] Write down the name of the person you've been thinking about this entire episode. Then write down three reasons why that person would benefit from a boundary set from a place of love. Write down one boundary you will set with this person and what you will do if that boundary is violated.

I’m so excited to have my friend and coach, Kristina Knapp, back on the show. In last week’s episode, I mentioned my new show, 'The Breakthrough,' which premieres on October 30th. Kristina is featured in the pilot episode. I connected with Kristina, and we discussed the show, her experience, and her breakthroughs.

Kristina is very confident. However, being confident enough to learn and present a dance performance was a challenge she chose to work through. We talk about the challenges that arise from last-minute changes. We also share some behind-the-scenes experiences and discuss what having a true breakthrough feels like.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:21] We talk about why Kristina said yes to being on the show.
  • [04:30] Kristina always wanted to sing and dance. She loves watching dance videos. Dancing is cool. She wanted that confidence that was connected to her body.
  • [07:10] Kristina is confident in most aspects of her life. She struggled with serious performance.
  • [09:21] Kristina was going to learn salsa and give a performance. The instructor/partner canceled at the very last minute.
  • [11:29] We learn how Kristina felt when her dance was changed from Salsa to Hip Hop, and her male instructor is now a female.
  • [14:00] Did I want to hide or really show up as my highest self and go for it? Kristina wanted it to be the best day of her life.
  • [15:17] Kristina had to learn a dance in 45 minutes.
  • [16:01] Kristina shares her reaction when she met her new dance instructor.
  • [17:35] There were hundreds of people and a few surprises thrown in.
  • [18:42] This was a very challenging opportunity for her to stay in her power.
  • [19:07] After she was done, it was no big deal. Which is an accurate description of how it feels after you face your fears.
  • [19:20] Fear is now a green flag for Kristina.
  • [20:01] She's now being pitched for a show. She's writing a book, and launching a podcast. Feeling the fear means you better go for it.
  • [22:26] She also discovered a huge appreciation for her body.

As some of you know, I'm working on a television show. Today, I'm going to share this experience as a guide to help you in building the life and legacy that you want for yourself. The show is called Breakthrough, and it’s about breaking through old patterns of thought that have been holding people back. Next week, you’ll get to hear from my friend Kristina Knapp who has been a guest on the show before and is featured in the pilot episode.

Being part of this show has been an amazing experience for me. I’m excited to share the breakthrough that Kristina experienced. She had always wanted to learn to dance, but beliefs were holding her back. The exciting part is that her breakthrough was about so much more than learning to dance. This week, I’m going to share with you how this opportunity came about and the power of being present.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:25] I'm going to be hosting a show called Breakthrough on a station that's available on Amazon and YouTube. The show is about people breaking through old thought patterns in order to achieve something that they've always wanted to achieve.
  • [01:48] In the first season, we have a woman who always wanted to learn to dance, a woman who always wanted to be an actress, a woman who has been afraid to learn to cook, and a gentleman who always wanted to learn to play the piano.
  • [02:09] In each episode, you can watch them overcome all of the thoughts and obstacles that have prevented them from doing what they actually wanted to do.
  • [03:46] Getting what you want includes focusing on mindset and being, becoming, and showing up.
  • [04:16] I didn't ask to host a TV show, it quite literally fell in my lap.
  • [04:54] I received an email from my website contact form. It was a producer who wanted me to speak with her about hosting a life coaching show she was developing.
  • [05:27] I was skeptical, but I did some research and responded.
  • [06:02] She had been looking for someone to host the show and found my Instagram. She found me because I was there.
  • [07:13] Is there an area of your life where you are beginning to question what the point is?
  • [09:13] I was approached to do a series for the Calm app from a woman who found me on LinkedIn. This came to me because I was present. I was being and becoming.
  • [10:39] It's not about you. Putting use to your gifts with pure intention is when success comes. It comes without chasing it.
  • [11:20] Homework: Know what your gift is. Write it down. Find ways to use your gift.
  • [12:45] Figure out how to show up brightly. You were not created as a dim light.
  • [13:28] Think of one thing that you can do to make a difference and watch and see how clients and businesses appear.

It’s the time of year when things start moving fast. If you are someone who didn’t hit your yearly goals, this episode is for you. I’m diving into what to do when you're not going to hit your annual goals. It’s time to take a look at where you’re at in relation to your goal. Examine the process, but don’t judge.

I talk about focusing on the things that you have control over and looking at whether you still have a chance to achieve that goal. If it’s still possible, make a revised list of what you need to do and who you need to be to make it happen. I also walk you through what to do if you know you’re not going to be able to reach your goal this year and how to shift into action and solution mode.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:11] We are less than 90 days away from 2024.
  • [02:00] Look at the distance between your goal and where you are now. What did you want to accomplish and complete? Examine the gold process and you.
  • [04:12] When you think about the goal that you haven't yet reached, what thoughts come up about you? Make note of whatever comes up. Write it down.
  • [04:52] Include the things that you have control over.
  • [05:22] Is there a fighting chance that you might still actually be able to achieve that goal?
  • [06:26] If you see a clear path, take your list of what went wrong and turn it into a list of what you should be doing now.
  • [07:12] If there is no clear path, settle in your mind that the goal won't be reached.
  • [08:14] If you won't reach your goal this year, ask, now what?
  • [08:29] Shift your focus off of all of the feelings of sadness, anger, or disappointment to propel you into action and solution mode.
  • [09:00] After asking, now what, it's time to revise your action plan. You're not changing the goal, you're just changing the timeline.
  • [10:14] Look at your why during the examination process and make sure you are still in alignment with this particular goal.
  • [12:28] Spend some time working through these questions and examine your goal and yourself.

Do you ever feel like things aren't going right and nothing is working? If so, stick around for my five-step process on how to move forward when it seems like everything is falling apart. Let’s conquer those struggles of frustration or hopelessness.

Instead of being overwhelmed, follow along as we tackle things like avoidance and how to acknowledge what the problem may be. It’s time to make a conscious choice to respond like a dangerous woman. Let’s work together to regain momentum and take control of what’s going on in our lives.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:53] Some people avoid acknowledging reality and what isn't working in their lives. They distract themselves by being hyper-focused on another area of their lives.
  • [02:34] There are also unhealthy ways to distract ourselves like alcohol or unhealthy relationships.
  • [03:37] When you feel like things aren't working. Define what the problem is and what exactly isn't working.
  • [04:24] List what isn't working and take the time to find the what and why.
  • [05:57] It's time to shift into determination and not accept that this is just how it is.
  • [06:31] Create a list of exactly what things would look like if they were working.
  • [07:33] You know what isn't working. You know why, and you know what things would look like if it were working.
  • [07:43] The next step is to know who you need to be in order to create a scenario where things are working. What do you need to think? How do you need to show up?
  • [08:58] The woman who figures things out is the one who runs directly into it and figures out how to get out of it. The "who" is the most important part when life serves up trouble.
  • [10:38] Embrace your thoughts, and be the woman who pushes through and finds what's working.
  • [11:27] Don't fake it until you make it. Add "but" to the “it's not working” thought. Carry these thoughts as you take intentional action. Don't leave your thought alone without the "but".
  • [13:20] 5 step recap. 1. Identify exactly what isn't working. 2. Identify why it's not working. 3. Identify what it would look like if it were working. 4. Go back to who you say you are. (Check Dangerous Woman Manifesto) 5. Lay out the how and the steps to get where you want to be.

This is the second episode of The Dangerous Woman Interview Series and it’s all about building generational wealth. Generational wealth is homes, businesses, or savings—that are handed down from one generation to the next.

This can give the younger generation a financial boost, helping them to pursue opportunities without starting from zero. Lack of generational wealth can widen existing socio-economic gaps, because not everyone has the same starting point.

It’s time for Dangerous Women to close the generational wealth gap. My guest Sarah Miskelly from HYLEE Capital is here to share how we can earn passive income through real estate investing without being a landlord.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:49] Sarah has been involved in real estate since she was a kid. Her dad had rental properties, and she spent a lot of time growing up working on those properties.
  • [02:15] After college she became involved in marketing. Then she moved into real estate sales. She was not only a top salesperson, but she built her own real estate portfolio in Canada, the US, and Belize.
  • [03:09] She was driven and making a lot of money, but the lifestyle wasn't the type of lifestyle she wanted.
  • [03:29] She went 10x into real estate investing and now she's involved in multifamily real estate investing.
  • [03:45] Sarah breaks down what it was like to be successful in a male-dominated industry.
  • [04:30] Commercial real estate is very male oriented and an old boys club. This has made Sarah even more passionate about getting women involved in commercial real estate investing.
  • [05:13] Sarah shares the biggest misconception when it comes to real estate investing. Lack of confidence and not feeling like you have the knowledge or the ability is really the biggest roadblock.
  • [06:00] Sarah breaks down how to get started as a new investor in real estate. First thing we need to know is your numbers. Then we need to pick a strategy.
  • [08:02] HYLEE Capital works with women of high net worth. What if we don't have as much money? There are definitely ways to get into real estate with smaller amounts of capital. It's important to get into the market at some level.
  • [08:52] You can find cash flow positive investments in less expensive states.
  • [10:32] Passive income is so beneficial. There's a lot of innovative models where things are more collaborative.
  • [12:10] Working with Sarah can be simple. Apartment buildings have a lot of growth. You can invest capital and invest in deals as an equity partner. You'll get cash flow and a share of profits.
  • [13:42] Start allocating a portion of your income for investing. Look at your options and the available deals that align with your goals. What you're looking for will expand. You can also join Sarah's investment community. Education is really critical.
  • [15:15] If you're ready to invest, hop on a one-on-one call with Sarah's group.
  • [16:21] Joining the investment community is the best way to get your foot in the door and start having deals sent to you.
  • [17:30] Sarah talks about The Passive Real Estate Summit that she is hosting and you can sign up for.
  • [18:48] Sarah's future dreams include a 50 million dollar net worth and donating a million dollars to charity.
  • [19:49] Advice includes believing in yourself and having the confidence to do it!

It’s easy to get annoyed. It can bother us. It can build up and make us more and more upset. It’s annoying just to think about being someone who gets annoyed. I’m going to share a three-step system that will help us stop and realize what’s happening so that we can change our thoughts, feelings, and expectations in order to escape from the annoyance trap.

I share a story about one of my clients who was getting annoyed with her co-workers. I share how she changed the way that she looked at things and how she was able to control how she would show up and not other people’s behavior. If you are easily annoyed, this episode will give you tools to deal with feelings of annoyance.

Episode Highlights:

  • [05:40] Annoyance happens to all of us, not just the Virgos.
  • [06:10] Being easily annoyed bothers me, so I don't want to walk around claiming it.
  • [06:34] Emotions aren't inherently bad or good, it's how we choose to respond to them.
  • [07:12] The reason we get annoyed is because we think things should be different than they are in reality. We're holding the world up to our own personal standards, and we get annoyed when it falls short of that.
  • [07:35] When we realize that the reason we're annoyed is because we think people are annoying and stupid is the moment we take our control and power back.
  • [07:55] This realization will get us out of the endless loop of thoughts that keep us annoyed.
  • [08:06] There's no escape when we spend all of our mental energy batting around how we think things should be in our minds.
  • [08:21] Step two is to interrupt the loop when we realize what is actually happening.
  • [08:47] Step three is where we add how we're going to respond in a way that makes us feel proud of who we are.
  • [09:02] You get to make a conscious decision and be intentional about how you show up.
  • [10:40] My client took her control back and took ownership of why she felt a certain way, so she could show up as the leader she wanted to be.
  • [11:13] Getting out of annoyance helps you to set healthy clear boundaries. You don't have to allow others to behave any certain kind of way around you. Getting out of annoyance has more to do with you than the other person.
  • [12:13] When you're annoyed, the way you respond to others will likely do more harm than good.
  • [15:00] You can sit in annoyance and respond to it, or you can learn how to shift your way out of it. This work is for you to respond better. Take ownership, don't assign it to something outside of yourself.

Welcome to Season 2. I hope you had a great summer and took some time to exhale. I’m so excited to continue on this journey of growth and self-awareness with you. Today, we are talking about graceful transitions and the challenges that arise with change and different life seasons.

We talk about acknowledging your emotions and writing down best and worst-case scenarios. We cover focusing on best-case actions while still allowing your emotions to come like a wave and allowing yourself to grieve during times of change. Make a decision to move through it and don’t weigh yourself down with guilt.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:44] I've had some significant changes happen over the summer. I even sent my oldest child off to college.
  • [02:13] There's no right way to go through a major transition. The goal is to thrive and grow through the experience.
  • [02:56] When we start to experience change we are either filled with questions or fear. This is normal. Instead of panicking, lean into it and accept it.
  • [03:55] Our brains seem to gravitate towards the worst-case scenario. Even though it seems counterintuitive, allow your brain the space to go there.
  • [04:40] What would you do if the worst-case scenario happened? What would you do if the best-case scenario happened?
  • [06:09] Life isn't perfect. Humans experience it. If we're wise, we learn and grow from it. The way that you think about life change will drive the way that you feel about it.
  • [06:38] The actions I take when thinking about the worst-case scenario are not going to give me the results that I want.
  • [07:12] If you try to choose the best of what could happen, you'll be able to make the best case when the bumps in the road come along.
  • [07:27] Think about the best and worst case and then make a conscious choice to focus on the best.
  • [07:52] Graceful means that you continue and you don't stop. We often want to skip to the good part where we feel better. All of our emotions are necessary.
  • [08:59] Allow yourself to experience your emotions like a wave.
  • [09:40] When change happens, there needs to be an allowance for a period of grieving.
  • [11:08] We don't have to add guilt into the mix by thinking we are wrong for feeling our emotions.
  • [12:16] I share a client story where she wracked herself with tremendous guilt. Keep in mind that our choices don't negate our feelings.
  • [14:12] I want you to know that it's okay to feel whatever you feel about your life changes.

Jenna Hermans is a Certified High-Performance Coach with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Organizational Management. With over 15 years of experience in HR and having run a preschool for over 5 years, she specializes in helping families and individuals create systems to find joy in their lives and build pleasure back into their world. Jenna's focus is on helping clients own their calm, find lost energy, and do what they love without suffering or losing sleep.

She is also the author of the recently published book, Chaos to Calm, which is a guide for busy parents to streamline their tasks, create more time, and reduce stress. The book covers topics such as efficiency, habits, communication, community, and self-care, and provides simple tasks and how-to guides to help parents lower the frenetic pace of daily life. Using examples from a variety of parents and her own life, Hermans demonstrates that anyone can take control of their busy lives and embrace what really matters while achieving and maintaining calm.

We dive into how Jenna defines chaos. She shares her own story of having panic attacks and losing her structured routine. We talk about tools she used to come out of this. We talk about communication and active listening. We learn about how Jenna time blocks her calendar based on energy flows and puts in transitional buffers to own her time. She shares about the "your turn" elements in her book. Jenna wants readers to know that they can achieve any goal, big or small, and to be the role model they wish they would have had.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:24] Jenna has been working on Chaos to Calm for about four years. It feels amazing to finally have it out into the world.
  • [03:40] Chaos to Calm is for everyone, not just parents. Her inspiration was that this is the book she needed.
  • [05:36] Jenna defines chaos as the swirl of things that make us feel out of control and overwhelmed.
  • [06:29] Jenna shares a story about a day when she was having panic attacks and reacting to everything around her. Everything fell apart when she lost her structured routine. On this particular day, she knew something needed to change.
  • [09:19] On this day, she had to remind herself that she had the tools and the education, and the experience to come out of this.
  • [10:25] After implementing the tools in her belt, people started asking what she was doing. She began writing down everything she was implementing.
  • [12:10] One of the biggest intangibles was being better about how she communicated.
  • [12:39] Active listening is one of the things that really helped Jenna improve her life. It's also a chapter in her book. Listening is a huge part of building relationships and trust with the person that we're trying to communicate with.
  • [14:42] The importance of just being present and listening.
  • [17:13] Jenna was able to make her calendar airtight and time block based on energy flows and what she needs to accomplish. She also puts in transitional buffers.
  • [18:10] She began owning her time and getting clear on what she needed to do at any moment.
  • [19:20] The book has your turn elements which asks questions and gives the reader time to reflect.
  • [20:56] Jenna wants her readers to know that they can do any goal big or small.
  • [21:50] One piece of advice is to be the role model that you wish you would have had.
  • [22:50] Part of being a dangerous woman includes being able to turn chaos into calm.
  • [23:30] The one thing we all have in common when it comes to a sense of calm is that our nervous system is calm.

If you're feeling like you're at a crossroads, this is the episode for you. We're going to discuss how to not only reach your next level, but also how to stay there without falling back into old habits and patterns. Sometimes, we need to take a pause in order to move forward.

Making it to the next level can be a surreal and exciting experience, but it can also come with a period of adjustment that many of us fail to acknowledge. I’m going to talk about stabilizing at your new level including grieving and celebrating. It’s time to take a breath and honor ourselves for all that we've accomplished and all that we will achieve.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:37] We all love moving to the next level, but we often miss that period of adjustment that's required when we do finally reach that next level.
  • [01:57] There can be shock and elation when you've finally made it. It can almost seem surreal, especially when you've wanted something for so long. You spent time imagining what it would be like and now you're living it.
  • [02:17] I want you to be aware of all of the feelings that come with this. In particular, notice where your brain slowly and quietly pulls you back or thrusts you forward.
  • [02:51] Out of an effort to keep you safe, your brain will either convince you to move forward or move backwards.
  • [03:07] We rarely take the time to stabilize at our new level.
  • [03:26] Grieving and celebration both play a role in our continued growth and leveling up.
  • [04:20] Take the time to mourn the loss of who you were. Grieve for her.
  • [04:51] Letting her go is part of the process. Without the step, your brain will try to get you back to the perceived normal.
  • [05:20] Write down how parts of you were holding you back and how they are no longer needed.
  • [06:07] With your grieving process, include celebration for who you are now and who you are becoming.
  • [06:27] Hustle mode is moving from one achievement to the next without ever taking a breath or a pause.
  • [07:33] Take the time to honor who you have been, who you are being, and who you are becoming.

It's essential to address lack and scarcity mindsets to understand individual money experiences. We talk about helping people redefine their relationship with money and align their spending with their values. There is no perfect time to make a money plan. The sooner you start, the sooner you'll make progress. Keina also shares some of her client success stories and how taking control of our money increases our opportunities and abundance.

Happy New Year! I hope you've all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to turn it up this year. 2022 is going to be your year! If you listened to the first episode of this podcast, you'll remember that I broke down the four categories of women including the dangerous woman. Each category of woman is struggling in a different area and requires something different to get to the next level. Each week we are going to be working towards becoming dangerous.

Today, I’m going to help you figure out exactly where you stand and tell you exactly what you need to be focusing on for the next month. We are going to take 30 days to begin to move to the next level. I know that you want to feel like you’re truly thriving in every area of your life. That's why we are going to do some self-diagnosing and break down exactly what you've been doing that isn't working. Then I'll tell you what you need to be focusing on in the next 30 days to move closer to becoming that dangerous woman that you are meant to be.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:48] We are all moving towards becoming a dangerous woman. She lives in complete alignment with who she is. She's learned how to set boundaries and overcome people-pleasing. She's built beautiful mutually beneficial relationships. She wakes up in the morning feeling good about herself.
  • [03:38] A dangerous woman embraces her entire range of emotions. She feels purposeful and does exactly what she dreams about doing in her life. She's confident and bold and knows who she is.
  • [05:00] Don't you want to live in overflowing abundance with a life that's bursting at the seams and makes your heart sing?
  • [06:54] The disconnected woman. This stage is defined by feelings of overwhelm, lack of control, and people pleasing. You want to change, but you feel like there's nothing you can do about it.
  • [10:13] Your willingness to be wrong about yourself is going to be the thing that moves you forward. Challenging and questioning those long-standing beliefs will help you move to the next level.
  • [10:38] In the next 30 days, start questioning the thoughts you have about yourself. Write out everything you believe to be true about yourself. Ask yourself where is this not true?
  • [11:06] Write out one goal that you want to achieve. The only thing you need to focus on is believing that it's possible.
  • [12:06] The conventional woman. These are your team players. These women are dependable to everyone else but constantly letting themselves down. You're motivated and eager for change, until you actually have to implement the changes.
  • [13:50] It's not as easy as you thought it would be. One week in and you're already researching plan b. You fall back into being busy and judge yourself harshly.
  • [14:54] Focusing on everything and trying to change everything all at once is doing too much.
  • [15:40] Over the next 30 days, identify a goal that you have been working on and trust yourself enough to choose one path or way to achieve that goal. Commit to moving towards your goal consistently over this one month. Journal about it.
  • [17:04] The motivated woman. This is where most people feel like they want to be. No matter how much she gains or achieves, she can't fill that inner void. She's always in search of something to make her feel complete or whole.
  • [20:29] Things are good, but you're ready for something amazing. You're craving high-level accountability, support, and encouragement.
  • [21:17] 30-day focus: Find support and begin to take decisive high-level action. Your support can be a coach, therapist, or group. Someone other than you who can call you out and keep you in motion. Establish your very own dream team. Invest in yourself and find someone to support you.
  • [22:59] Decide where you are and focus on the assignment for that level. Focus on what you need to do over the next 30 days to work your way through these exercises.
  • [23:17] In the next 30 days, I want to believe that it is possible for me to _________________?

Untangling the self-concept of being a "good girl" and why it can hold you back is an important topic that I wanted to share twice. My upcoming book will probably be titled the same as this episode. I'm sharing this episode from last week again because I want you to challenge those long-standing beliefs you may be holding and break free to create that fulfilling and purposeful life you deserve.

I hope you enjoy this encore episode because it's time to stop pleasing others and start making progress toward your own goals. Don't let the “good girl” in you hold you back. It's time to be a little bad, even dangerous! Break those limiting beliefs and take the limits off your dreams. Trust me. It's worth it. Your future you will thank you!

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:22] Part of upgrading and elevating your self-concept includes the undoing of the cultural indoctrination of the good girl.
  • [03:45] I'm writing a book that will probably have the same name as this podcast. One of the things that I discuss is this concept of society's good girl. I'm going to read an excerpt from my intro.
  • [05:07] Think about the dream for your life that you wrote out in your homework. Did you think about how you would be viewed by society, family, and friends? Does your role and position as a woman prevent you from achieving your dream?
  • [07:13] Are you people-pleasing, pushing down your dreams, and creating boundaries? Treading water is expending effort to maintain one's status, but doesn't make much progress towards a goal.
  • [08:02] It's time to unravel that societal programming that tells us our dreams are only partially possible.
  • [08:25] Look at your dreams and see where the good girl in you is holding you back.
  • [10:40] Look at these thoughts that are holding you back. See them and know that they are optional.
  • [11:03] What would you do if you were a bad girl? What would you do if you were a dangerous woman?
  • [11:52] Go back to your homework and look for those thoughts that tell you why you can't fulfill your dreams. Find those thoughts that are holding you captive.
  • [13:30] Beliefs holding you back whether positive or negative are all under review here. Go back to the scenario in those four areas and take the limits off.
  • [14:22] If you do this work up front, it makes things so much better when you start creating your dream life.

Fake faith is a trap that many of us fall into. It's when we pretend to ourselves and others that we believe in our dreams and goals, even when we don't truly have faith in them. It can be easy to slip into this mindset, especially when we're conditioned to believe that happiness is the only desirable state to be in.

However, pretending to be positive and optimistic when we don't genuinely feel that way is exhausting and counterproductive. Instead, we need to acknowledge our true feelings and work to build up genuine belief in our abilities and aspirations. I’m going to talk about this trap and how not to fall into it by building faith through action toward our goals.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:41] The message of the power of positivity is everywhere. When we don't feel positive, there's a level of shame and embarrassment. So we pretend to be positive even though we don't feel that way. This is not only exhausting, it's counterproductive.
  • [02:29] If you don't acknowledge your lack of belief, you will subconsciously be operating against yourself.
  • [03:26] Thinking that you need to believe 100%, 100% of the time is what's keeping you stuck.
  • [04:04] It's okay to have doubts and by acknowledging them you know what's going on in the back of your mind.
  • [05:12] Doubt will creep in, so it's completely normal to fear that you won't be able to make your goals.
  • [05:46] We need to accept our humanness without shame. The key is taking action with awareness.
  • [06:37] Ask yourself these daily questions. Do I believe that this is working? Do I believe that my dream or goal is actually going to happen? If the answer is no, that's okay.
  • [07:21] Ask yourself why you don't believe it's possible.
  • [08:34] What level of belief can you get to? It may only be 5% or 10%.
  • [10:47] Learn to listen from a place of authority. Sometimes you won't feel like doing things, and you don't need to do things at that moment. Sometimes you still need to do them.
  • [12:29] Gently encourage yourself as if you were parenting a child.
  • [13:18] You build faith through action as you take steps towards your goal.

If you're feeling frustrated, because you can't quite reach your goals or make your dreams a reality, this episode is for you. We'll be talking about how toxic dream entitlement may be getting in your way and how to overcome it. Entitlement is defined as the belief that one is inherently deserving of privilege or special treatment.

There’s a lot of entitlement in our society today. A lot of it leans towards toxic entitlement. Thinking that we deserve something just because we want it is problematic. I’m going to talk about how toxic entitlement is holding us back and how to move beyond the entitlement trap.

Episode Highlights:

[01:44] We are inundated with messages that say we deserve to have certain things just because we want them. We are inherently worthy, but not entitled.

[03:19] Thinking we deserve something just because we want it puts us in a position of entitlement. Feeling entitled can lead us to just sitting back and waiting.

[04:18] Once we feel entitled we start comparing and judging others. This makes it very difficult to see how our thoughts are what are actually getting in the way for us.

[04:57] There is a difference between toxic entitlement and having positive self-worth. We are all entitled to basic human decency and expect it.

[05:25] Toxic entitlement tells you that you deserve whatever you want without any reasoning behind it.

[05:38] The more subtle entitlement is that we are entitled to the motivation to reach our goals.

[06:12] We believe the excitement and hype when we first start a goal should stick around, and we're disappointed when it doesn't. . We're not entitled to motivation. We have to learn how to manufacture it.

[07:01] You can shift yourself out of toxic entitlement by acknowledging thoughts that keep you bound and stuck. You want to create positive sustainable momentum.

[07:42] Think thoughts that will help you become who you want to be. I'm becoming a successful businesswoman. I'm growing.

[08:17] Center your thoughts around the only thing you can control, which is you.

[09:26] Use motivation as a bonus emotion to commitment.

If you've ever felt envious towards another person, this episode is for you. This week I'll help you see where your envy may have turned into being a full-blown hater and how to get out of it.

When criticism turns to hate it can become envy. There are different types of envy, but the hater envy is usually a form of comparison and comes from a place of lack. I’m going to talk you through this with a recent example in my life, so we can all live in abundance and not from a place of lack.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:17] None of us probably want to admit it, but we all get envious or jealous at some point or another.
  • [01:48] Envy occurs when we want something that another person has. Jealousy is when we fear losing a relationship or a valued part of a relationship that we already have.
  • [02:16] Today we're going to talk about how Envy can lead to you being a full-on-hater. A hater is a negative or critical person.
  • [03:03] We're supercritical and form opinions about people without very much information.
  • [06:09] An example of how I went from questioning to being critical to hater envy.
  • [08:00] Envy only comes when we're in comparison.
  • [08:32] There are different types of envy like attractiveness envy, confidence envy, or wealth envy.
  • [09:10] Envy can be hostile, or it can lean more towards admiration.
  • [10:00] Notice where you think that someone having something precludes you from having that also. This would be having a scarcity mindset.
  • [13:50] How do you get yourself out of hater envy?
  • [13:57] When you feel envious, remember that you don't know the background or have the full story. Putting your focus on why someone has something that you don't is a waste of time, especially if you don't know their struggles.
  • [14:47] What I want is my own version of showing up in the world and adding value. I want to test the limits of what is possible for me in my life.
  • [15:02] Don't beat yourself up if you find yourself in hater envy. When you stop focusing on the injustice of it all, you can tap into what is possible for you.
  • [15:37] Take inspiration from what others have achieved.

Do you ever feel that no matter what you do, you just can’t find peace? Do you have that feeling of perpetually being stuck? This show is about getting past the thoughts that cause you to feel this way.

I’m going to talk about how to find peace and how to make sure you never lose it again.

I go into why it is so hard to find peace, keep peace, and whether it’s even possible to find and keep it. I’m going to give you some quick questions that you can use to uncover the thoughts that are preventing you from having the peaceful life that you want.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:25] You may be looking in all of the wrong places for peace. Are you looking for other people or other life situations to bring you peace?
  • [03:11] If everything falls perfectly into place, you might find that peace still isn't there.
  • [04:19] Think about a situation where you just can't find peace. Write down the thoughts you have about that situation.
  • [04:59] Your belief that it isn't possible for you to have peace in your situation is the main culprit of why you don't have it.
  • [05:22] You can absolutely find peace in any situation that you are in. You just have to be willing to put in the work to do so.
  • [05:54] Peace doesn't mean perfection, it's an acceptance of what is the way that it is.
  • [06:20] Fighting and arguing against what is, will be the thing that prevents you from having peace.
  • [07:02] You won't win fighting against reality. It's not what other people or circumstances need to do. It's your thoughts about what is happening that affect your peace.
  • [08:10] Looking at the areas in your life that aren't at peace will trace back to a decision that you made.
  • [08:43] You get to decide whether you have peace or not.
  • [09:34] Create a peace practice that will help you get back into the mindset of peace.

We are talking about girl boss energy gone wrong. I'm going to show you how learning to feel and process your emotions will help you reach your goals faster than ever imagined. I love the idea of being a boss, but as women, we need to be able to embrace our full range of emotions.

If you haven't registered for the Dangerous Woman Masterclass, it's time to pause, drop everything, and register now! You'll learn how to silence negative self-talk, achieve your biggest goals, and create your dream life.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:53] A girl boss is a woman who is self-made and acts as her own boss. The issue I have with the movement is the image that usually accompanies a girl boss. Someone being bossy, overpowering, independent, forceful, strong, confident, but almost emotionless.
  • [03:23] A dangerous woman may be all of these things, but she is also a woman who doesn't ignore her emotions. She's a woman, not a girl, who has feelings.
  • [05:09] We process what we are feeling. We don't pretend that it doesn't hurt. Dangerous women process their feelings and then help the women around them to do the same.
  • [07:06] We can't outrun our feelings. A girl boss can be trapped in the image that she presents to the world.
  • [08:42] Negative feelings are just as warranted as positive feelings. Leaning into your feelings can change your life.
  • [09:16] The more you accept and allow negative emotions, the more you expand and allow positive emotions.
  • [11:20] We can't outrun our feelings. Learning how to identify, manage, and process our emotions will change our lives.
  • [11:47] Processing emotions. This is allowing yourself to feel the emotion and choosing to feel it on purpose.
  • [12:57] An example of processing disappointment. First, allow the feeling to be there. Watch and notice.
  • [15:33] As you watch a notice, your thoughts about the situation will become more clear.
  • [17:21] How can you accept the process with love and grace for other people? Process it and own it. Begin to let it go.
  • [18:18] As time passes, you'll gain more clarity of the circumstance that allowed the initial feeling to begin with.

When we incorporate more rest into our lifestyle, we become more productive and better at achieving our goals, yet it can be difficult for us to rest. I’m going to dive into the how and why of rest resistance and what we can do to become a dangerous and rested woman.

It’s time to stop being so busy. It’s time to stop that vicious cycle of exhaustion and overwhelm. It’s time to discover what our subconscious is really telling us about stopping to rest. Once we know our thoughts, we have to endure the discomfort of taking time out and all that goes with it.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:34] Superwoman mentality. Where we believe that we can do it all and be at all for everyone.
  • [02:00] The list of who we are goes on and on, and we want to make sure that we're the best at everything all of the time. This can lead to a vicious cycle of exhaustion and overwhelm.
  • [03:45] Putting our own heart's desires off year after year, prevents us from the fullness of being who we really are.
  • [04:39] Learning how to rest is an important step that we can't avoid. In order to rest, we need to dismantle all of the thoughts that we have about resting versus hustle.
  • [04:54] What are your subconscious thoughts? What do you think about rest? What do you think about women who rest? What would you think about yourself if you were genuinely to rest?
  • [06:47] Once you understand your thoughts about rest and what it means to you, you can redefine it.
  • [07:28] Burnout isn't the quickest way to reach your goal. Intentionally set aside time to do something for yourself.
  • [08:33] Find something that you enjoy doing that doesn't require you to be or do anything in particular. Practice thinking that rest is the way to achieve even more.
  • [08:57] The more you rest and restore, the more you can do.
  • [09:13] Your homework for this week is to rest. Do not overcomplicate it.

I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday season celebrating. I hope you gave yourself grace and a lot of mercy and kindness. The holiday season can be stressful and sometimes even sad, but we made it through another year, and it's time to create the best year ever.

It's time to make 2023 different in the best way possible. This week we’re talking about how sneaky subconscious thoughts can totally derail you from your goals and from living the life you dream about. I share ways to identify and overcome these stumbling blocks and move forward with confidence.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:59] We all start the new year with the best intentions. It's time to catch any of those old thought patterns that may be holding us back from our goals and desires.
  • [03:08] I want you to learn how to identify hidden stumbling blocks.
  • [03:37] Our dream life is built upon the goals we set. Achieving your goals is the building block of a dream life.
  • [04:12] This is why I talk about failure being the currency of a life well-lived. The more times you fail the more things you have tried.
  • [05:05] I hit every goal on my board, except the one around money. I became curious about what my brain was thinking about that goal.
  • [06:24] Get curious about what your thoughts are about the goal that you didn't achieve. Journal and write out your thoughts about each goal.
  • [07:02] Money thoughts from my childhood were holding me back. I had a belief that anything I make is just extra.
  • [10:07] Subconscious thoughts playing in the background, we're dictating everything I did.
  • [11:19] What thoughts do you have about the goals you didn't hit or the one that you're afraid to try? What do you do once you uncover a subconscious thought that is a stumbling block?
  • [11:46] The awareness alone can completely shift your mindset.
  • [13:07] Purposefully think about thoughts that drive determination and commitment. Connect your goals around your personal vision for your life.

We made it! It's the last Monday of 2022. It's time to talk about how to pick your 2023 BIG Goal! This episode is for anyone who wants to consistently set and achieve goals. We're talking about setting goals and having the mindset to see them through to the end.

What if you spent 365 days focused on solely making your dream a reality? This is what we’re going to do in The Dangerous Woman Mastermind The Year of You.

You and nine other women will spend an entire year focusing on your biggest goals, along with deep-level coaching, support, and massive amounts of action and accountability. We start in January and registration to join the group is open now.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:45] Setting goals gives us focus and intention.
  • [03:05] Consider a few things. The best part of setting and going after a goal isn't in the achievement of the goal. The best part is who you become in the process.
  • [05:07] Step into the mindset of becoming a goal-achieving woman.
  • [05:25] 1. Start from a place of abundance. Never pick a goal from a lack of something or a place of scarcity.
  • [06:03] An abundance exercise where you write things that you now have and things that you want and don't have.
  • [07:05] 2. Think about the 365 days that are available to you in 2023. What would feel amazing to have accomplished by the end of 2023?
  • [09:00] If other people's opinions didn't matter what would you do? Would you choose the same goal if other people's opinions didn't matter?
  • [10:26] Focus on who you need to be before you start outlining your actions.
  • [11:07] Write your big goal out very clearly and specifically. Write it out as if it already happened. If you say it out loud, your brain believes you.

It's time for that end of the year wrap-up. Were there some things you planned but didn't get done? If so don't worry, because it's time to turn your 2022 failures into your 2023 superpowers.

What if you spent 365 days focused on solely making your dream a reality? This is what we’re going to do in The Dangerous Woman Mastermind The Year of You.

You and nine other women will spend an entire year focusing on your biggest goals, along with deep level coaching, support, and massive amounts of action and accountability. We start in January and registration to join the group is open now.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:23] Going into the new year with the heavyweight of failure will hinder your upcoming momentum.
  • [03:14] What went right this year? Write out everything from personal to professional. Dig deep.
  • [04:31] Don't miss your wins, celebrate them.
  • [05:11] Write out what didn't go right in 2022. Do it objectively and from a place of confidence. Everything you put in your answer about what didn't go right needs to be things that you had control over.
  • [07:04] Notice what came up. Is your what went wrong list longer than your what went right list?
  • [07:54] What am I going to do differently in 2023? What will you do differently for each thing that went wrong or didn't work out as you wanted it to?
  • [08:41] Focus on the intention that you will approach the wrong list in 2023. You may remove goals that no longer align or decide to approach something differently.
  • [09:27] List specific actions. You want to create a mindset shift that will serve you for the rest of your life.
  • [10:01] If you look at each year as a building block to the next year, you'll be able to accomplish things beyond your wildest dreams.

It’s the height of the holiday season, and so many of us have so much going on. Gratitude can be one of those things that gets pushed off to the side and ignored. I’m going to share why you should be practicing gratitude and some tangible ways to do so. Practicing gratitude can make us feel more grounded, lead to a more stable life, and bring us peace.

  • [02:47] We're worrying about so many things right now that gratitude isn't even at the top of our list.
  • [03:20] Having a regular practice of gratitude leads to significantly better health over the span of your life.
  • [03:41] Gratitude can also help you improve your relationships. Think about who you love the most and the relationship you have with those people. Don't you want to share time with people you have mutual gratitude with?
  • [04:02] Gratitude strengthens bonds and connections. It drives feelings of positivity, love, and respect. It increases our desire to want to foster and develop those relationships.
  • [04:15] Healthy relationships make your life better and practicing gratitude will do the same.
  • [04:27] Set your intention and think about it on purpose. Decide that you will be a woman who practices thankfulness. Show gratitude to those around you and make it part of who you are.
  • [05:34] Decide now that you are going to be someone who is thankful and grateful for the people who helped you.
  • [05:50] Finding your why and uncovering meaning also leads to more gratitude.
  • [07:20] You can also tap into gratitude by helping someone else. When we spend too much time focusing on ourselves, we become stuck.
  • [08:28] Decide to practice gratitude. Take a moment each morning to visualize what you're grateful for. In the evening, write down three or four things that you are grateful for. This method will constantly keep gratitude in your vision.

This podcast is officially one year old. The first episode aired on December 6th of last year. I'm grateful for each and everyone of you who've taken your precious time and listened to this show. This week I'm talking about decision making.

A lot of people struggle with making powerful concise decisions. I’m going to talk about the three types of decision makers and what you can do to make sure your decision making isn’t holding you back from achieving your goals.

  • [02:30] There are three types of decision makers including the non decision makers, I need to research more decision makers, and the I'm going to do this decision maker.
  • [02:54] We can also fluctuate between these three categories.
  • [03:05] I don't know, has to be one of the most protective sentences that our brain can serve up to us. It's a one way ticket to nowhere until you do know.
  • [03:48] We lean on I don't know, because our brains don't like to be wrong.
  • [04:05] The only way to escape this trap is to make a decision and forge ahead anyway. Fear of failure is what holds us back.
  • [05:24] Instead of saying failure, think of it as an unintended outcome.
  • [06:09] I need to do more research or have more time to think about it. The problem comes in when we use our past to inform our present decisions. If you're looking to grow, you can't make decisions based on the same things that you always have.
  • [10:02] How would you show up differently if you thought of yourself as someone who makes powerful, strong decisions?
  • [11:59] I'm going to do this decision makers. This is where you trust yourself so much that you move forward in confidence. This is where you operate in the do it afraid energy.
  • [12:44] This is a place that you can only get to through time as you build your trust muscles.

There are two questions that you can use to discover limiting factors that may be holding you back. The answers to these questions dictate everything you do in your life. I’m going to share these two questions and discuss different ways the answers may affect your life and stifle your goals. This simple self-discovery exercise of noticing underlying beliefs and the thoughts they drive will serve you through the new year and beyond.

  • [02:17] What do I want people to think about me? What do I want to avoid in my life?
  • [02:34] The answers to these questions dictate how you do everything from your decisions, behaviors, to relationships.
  • [03:14] What do I want people to think of me? All of us think about this at some level. This dictates how you show up.
  • [04:02] You might want people to think that you are independent or a rebel. That also dictates how you show up and what you do.
  • [04:29] Notice how your desire to be seen as somebody nice, kind, sweet, and well thought of is going to encourage you to say yes to some things and no to others.
  • [05:21] If you want to be seen as successful, you might avoid anything that could be seen as a risky opportunity.
  • [06:05] We can want to be seen in a certain way and try to control the narrative, or we can just simply be.
  • [06:49] What are you avoiding in your life? Whatever it is, it's limiting you.
  • [08:36] You may be avoiding discomfort. Doing something new is uncomfortable. If your purpose in life is to avoid discomfort, you might not try something new and do that big goal.
  • [09:37] Whatever we are avoiding is preventing us from living our desires and dreams.
  • [10:16] Gather information and gain a new perspective.
  • [10:54] When you look at your plans for this year and the next year, notice what thoughts come up and your underlying beliefs that are driving those thoughts.

  • [07:01] I caught myself complaining about having to take my children to all of their sports events, then I realized that eventually they'd be out of the house, and I wouldn't have these opportunities. I became grateful for the carpool time.

There is a sneaky underlying thing that could be causing you to self-sabotage, and you might not even be aware of it. It’s an insidious thing that often goes on in our minds without our realizing it. I will bring awareness to this issue and tell you how you can recognize and change these thoughts from stalling your progress and goals.

I noticed myself being critical of my past self and some of my mistakes and poor decisions. I even caught myself being critical of myself and asking what was wrong with you. Why would you do that? Using negative language about our pasts can halt our future growth. We need to love and embrace ourselves where we are and celebrate our forward momentum.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:05] I'm proud of the woman I am now and the woman I'm becoming. The woman I was in the past, not so much.
  • [04:09] Too many dangerous women are pushing away the parts of their story that aren't pretty or packaged up with a nice bow around them.
  • [04:36] You can't grow from your past lessons if you try to bury them. If you avoid looking back, you put yourself in jeopardy of repeating the same things.
  • [05:25] How is it fair to hold shame and guilt against yourself for someone that you used to be?
  • [06:01] Think about all of the parts of you and your story and let go of the parts that don't serve you. As a leader, it's your job to let them go in the kindest way.
  • [07:45] Now you're looking at the past version of yourself with love and gratitude.
  • [09:04] Think about if you accept the past version of yourself for who she was and have gratitude for where you are now. You've done the work to level up as you go to each level.
  • [10:13] Take inventory of your thoughts about who you were in the past. If you have feelings of shame, guilt, or self-loathing make a decision about how long you want to sit with that. It's time to forgive yourself and move on.
  • [11:14] Let it go with compassion and love.
  • [12:19] Doing this work will absolutely set you up for a life beyond your wildest dreams.
  • [12:36] This is the kind of work that we'll be doing in the year of The Dangerous Woman Mastermind.
  • [13:19] Say "Yes" to becoming the woman you were meant to be. Schedule a call and we'll talk about it.

  • [09:37] She blocked out her inner negative dialogue and followed her passion and pushed her way through.
  • [11:31] It's okay to be driven and passionate. You can be a mom and still be passionate about things outside of motherhood.

It’s time to embrace your villain era. Embrace those positive things that conditioning or society has frowned on that makes you your most dangerous self. Society can look down on ambition, career or business success, and even financially successful women.

There are seven steps to get the most out of your life. Today, I’m talking about the one that can help you tear down limiting beliefs that may be preventing you from living the life you want and deserve.

I also want to remind you to sign up for my Live Masterclass. I’m going to be teaching a class called The Biggest Reason Positive Changes And Habits Don't Stick And What To Do To Finally Break Free Of The Start/Stop Cycle. I'll be giving you the system to implement positive habits to make changes in a way that sticks.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:15] If you're over 25, you've probably figured out the big secret that happily-ever-after is a bill of goods that we were sold as children.
  • [04:29] It's acceptable for us to work outside of the home, but it's not acceptable to be ambitious and have a high-profile career. We're taught to temper our dreams and our desires.
  • [05:05] We're also taught that if we become successful in a dangerous way, we shouldn't tell other people about it.
  • [06:15] Seven areas of focus you can't ignore if you want to be a dangerous woman. We are going to talk about one of those.
  • [06:27] If you're going to be the most dangerous version of yourself you must address your self-talk. The words that you say to yourself when you mess up or feel that you're feeling somehow.
  • [07:11] If you talk to yourself in a way that's mean or derogatory, you're going to hurt yourself during the entire journey.
  • [07:33] We spend more time talking to ourselves through our thoughts and sometimes out loud than we do with any other human beings.
  • [07:42] Our words and thoughts running through our brains are extremely important. We can also speak to ourselves in a way that blocks our ability to see the changes we need to make. Our words could be our blind spot.
  • [08:49] When you master your self-talk you become dangerous and create results that blow your mind.
  • [09:21] Become an observer of your own mind and catch the things you say to yourself. How do they make you feel? Do you shrink or hold that? Does your head get big? Do you stop seeing your own shortcomings?
  • [10:32] Observe and notice, so you can begin the process of unwinding and changing the language.

I frequently hear clients talk about how they're tired of having to be the bigger person. The one that always concedes, forgives, or initiates a reconciliation. It feels exhausting. Can you relate to this? Do you find yourself being the bigger person to keep the peace?

If so, this episode is for you. This week we're talking about what to do when you're tired of feeling like you're always the one having to be the bigger person in your relationships.

  • [02:45] The exhaustion you may be feeling can come from having to constantly withhold your feelings and emotions.
  • It will feel heavy if you're trying to keep the peace, ignoring your feelings.
  • [03:31] You're working overtime to distract yourself from those thoughts, not to feel the feelings. This happens when you're not solid in setting boundaries and expectations in relationships.
  • [04:19] When you don't healthily express your feelings, it will not work in the long run. Sometimes we fear what's going to happen if we allow our feelings to come up to the surface.
  • [04:54] You can define who you are and be that person everywhere you go.
  • [05:29] This is an invitation to establish that you are a woman who sets boundaries and expresses and feels all of her feelings.
  • [06:04] When you stop trying to fight the reality of what is and allow it to be, you align your feelings and actions.
  • [06:40] Being the bigger person is more about you and who you want to be. It has nothing to do with the other person.
  • [07:31] To stop bigger person fatigue, stop telling yourself that you are the bigger person.
  • [08:38] It isn't easy to set and maintain a standard. We want to argue our points and prove that we're always right. You won't experience the peace you want operating that way.
  • [09:45] It's not easy, but I promise you that when you do this work, it's worth it. You're going to be so proud of who you have become.

Do you feel like you're at a place where you're just existing? Are you ready to start living your life to the fullest? If so, you'll love this episode because I'm going to tell you the five keys to happiness. When you focus on and hone these five things, you'll stop feeling like you're treading water and start living a life beyond your wildest dreams.

You listeners have heard me talk about living a life you love and creating a purposeful life. If you've listened to this and thought it wasn't possible or possible for you, I would like you to lean into this episode. If you've ever thought that living the best life possible was for other people and not you, I'd like for you to reconsider that today! This episode is about focusing intentionally on the five keys to happiness.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:04] Your life will change if you focus on the five keys to happiness with intention. We are going to spend the rest of the year diving into these keys.
  • [03:22] The first key to happiness is peace. I'm talking about an inner peace of mind regardless of the circumstances that you are in.
  • [04:07] True peace comes from being in alignment with yourself and who God created you to be.
  • [04:37] The second key to happiness is good health both physically and mentally. We often put our health on the back burner. Imagine how productive you could be if you were in the best shape of your life. What if you felt resilient in every way and had boundless amounts of energy?
  • [06:09] Key number three is having genuine loving relationships. Healthy, fulfilling and mutually beneficial relationships with other people is a major key to living a life that you love.
  • [07:07] Key number four is financial freedom. Being able to have the money that you need to live the life that you choose is an essential part of life. We don't have peace of mind when we're worrying about money.
  • [08:05] The final key to happiness is having a clear purpose in life. This is doing what you were put on this Earth to do. These are the things that you're doing that make you feel like you have a clear impact on the world.
  • [08:30] True happiness comes when you are knowing and believing that your life stands for something. There's a sense of fulfillment and purpose with this knowledge.
  • [09:05] This is an overview. For the rest of the year, we're going to look at how thought and action can help us create the life we want to live in these areas.

Goals are hard. It's almost October, and the holiday season is coming. Maybe you haven't quite accomplished what you were hoping for, but there's always next year. After reflecting on 2022, perhaps you are ready to give up for the rest of the year and focus on starting over in 2023. Not so fast! It's time for some tough love.

If you are in an end-of-the-year rut, this episode will help you see why you aren't winning, find a way to start winning and finish the year off right. Your brain may tell you it's time to take the easy way out and start fresh again next year. Dangerous women don't give up. I will tell you why you have these feelings and how to overcome them and finish this year strong!

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:26] Dangerous women don't go with the status quo and the norm. We aren't giving up and starting again next year. We aren't quitting before the finish line.
  • [03:50] This year we aren't quitting, we aren't taking a break, we aren't waiting for next year.
  • [04:03] We're going to go all in! We're hitting the gas pedal when it comes to working towards our goals at the end of this year. We don't hustle. We consistently walk down our goal.
  • [04:40] The reason your brain is offering you a break until next year is that number one your focus is off and number two you don't have accountability.
  • [05:18] Take this as a moment to reflect and gain awareness as to where you are.
  • [05:48] Let's celebrate others and adopt an I'm next mentality. If you feel anger or jealousy allow it, but don't stay there.
  • [06:54] The fight with reality. You aren't further along. You worked as much as you did and this is where you are.
  • [07:31] Think about actions you take from jealousy or disappointment or any other negative emotions.
  • [08:27] It's time to work towards your goals in a healthy way.
  • [09:26] When you find yourself comparing, look at the thoughts and examine them then make a decision about how long you're going to let yourself be ruled by those emotions.
  • [10:06] Accountability is when you tell the whole story. The whole dream that terrifies you. Not having strong accountability can be detrimental. This means someone who will actually hold you accountable.
  • [11:50] If investing in accountability scares you, that means you should do it. When you're paying someone to hold your feet to the fire, you are more likely to follow through.
  • [12:29] Your coach will hold your vision up for you even when you're scared. They'll fight for you so that you won't quit.
  • [13:29] Accountability when you are ready for it is an absolute game-changer.
  • [15:00] Don't be afraid to invest money and time into this process. What is more valuable than your growth, peace, and mind?
  • [15:59] Some of you are ready for the next step of having someone hold you accountable.
  • [16:25] I'm hosting a free virtual class in October. Leave a review and send me a message, and I'll send you an invitation.
  • [16:54] I'm also announcing a game-changing program for a small group of women who are serious about hitting their goals in career, health, relationships, and money. If you are interested in one of the spots, send me a DM or sign up on the waitlist.
  • [17:45] I'm also expanding my one-on-one coaching.

I’m so excited about today’s show. I am talking to a fantastic and amazing guest. You know I’ve been talking a lot about mindset. This episode is about leveling-up your money mindset and ending those limiting beliefs that hold so many of us back when it comes to what we are worth and what we charge. Being a dangerous woman and living the life that you love includes dealing with and understanding money. This means discovering and getting rid of our money mindset blocks. Linda Rosenblum is a CPA and profit strategist.

She helps busy coaches and experts sustainably scale their revenue and profits by up-leveling their financial systems and strategies and stepping into the CEO role with her signature Cash Flow CEO Accelerator course. She is also a coach and the author of Self-Worth To Net Worth: 12 Keys To Creating Wealth Inside And Out, a book about creating wealth inside and out. Whether you're an entrepreneur or climbing the corporate ladder, Belinda can help. There’s so much goodness in this podcast that I want you guys to listen to this episode from beginning to end and take notes! Then we can discuss how we can all be dangerous wealthy women.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:35] Money is a tool to help us achieve the things that we want. We need to welcome money, not treat it like a burden.
  • [06:10] Even if our conscious efforts are trying to do something different, oftentimes our unconscious efforts will create the same thing. This is frequently true with money.
  • [06:42] Belinda shares how she was overwhelmed with money responsibility when she was 28. It turns out if you avoid bills, they just keep coming.
  • [07:11] She worked on her mindset and her tactics and strategy. She needed a system to deal with her finances and avoid overwhelm.
  • [07:50] The more that we feel we can own our money, the less we are owned by it.
  • [08:57] She figured things out and became a self-made millionaire at 33 years old. She then had a midlife crisis at 35 years old.
  • [09:30] After a sabbatical, she started her business Own Your Money.
  • [09:42] In 2019, she pivoted to help small business owners more.
  • [11:38] Her book is Self-Worth To Net Worth: 12 Keys To Creating Wealth Inside And Out. She really wanted to understand why money is so hard for everyone.
  • [13:10] If we have a belief about something, we want to be right. Our brains will keep finding reasons to keep doing what we believe. We aren't taking money at face value as a means of exchange.
  • [14:11] Money is a way to achieve our goals. It doesn't have to have so much emotion and self-worth on it.
  • [15:04] Money gives us choices and options.
  • [17:07] We need to prioritize profit, not just revenue. When people pay they pay attention.
  • [19:45] We think we're doing people a favor by under charging, but they won't see our worth with low prices. Charging higher prices will make your customers show up differently.
  • [20:43] We layer our limited beliefs onto money. Belinda teaches to find the space where you can be more black and white around your numbers and remove the emotion.
  • [21:07] Put your business revenue and accounting profit on paper.
  • [27:59] We need to become aware of our limiting beliefs around money. Most of the time, we make poor decisions about money because we don't have the facts.
  • [31:28] We need to separate our own worthiness from how our business or bank account is doing.
  • [32:04] We need to decide what we need to earn and what we're willing to ask for. No one else is going to step up for us.
  • [35:18] Step into being a dangerous woman who can be safe with money.
  • [38:23] A part of our money entanglement is thinking that we have to work harder to make money. What if we believe that the less we work the more we make? Do the right things as opposed to all of the things.
  • [40:01] A solopreneur will be the overworked employee in their business until they learn to become the CEO.
  • [41:21] Cash Flow Ceo Accelerator is a 4-month program for female experts and coaches to scale their revenue and profits by upleveling their financial foundation, systems, strategies and role as CEO.
  • [43:40] People who want to make a big impact need the coach, community, and team that goes along with that.
  • [44:14] The program is for people who are on track to 100K. It's for experts and coaches.

You've done your homework. Now it's finally time to put some momentum towards making your goals happen while being loving and kind to yourself every step of the way. We are ready to talk about action. It's easy to get impatient with the whole process and want to jump straight from desire to action without doing all of the pesky mindset work.

Trust me, you are going about this the right way, and you will be so happy. How many times have you decided to do something really big? You created a plan and had all the steps meticulously laid out and put on your calendar. Then sometime around day five or even day three, something happens, and you start to lose steam.

You get discouraged that things aren't happening quickly enough. The problem isn't with you or your plan. The issue is the thoughts that you took with you on your journey. You're holding on to those hidden sneaky beliefs, unaware of their impact on your progress. This episode helps you overcome those thoughts and take real action.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:09] In the last two weeks, you've done the job of uncovering the thoughts that may be holding you back. Your forever homework is managing these thoughts with kindness, love, and patience for yourself.
  • [03:32] Over time, those old thoughts popping up in your head will happen less and less and the impact will be less. The process is to allow it, feel it, and then think of something that better serves you.
  • [04:14] Let's move into action. The dreaded "I don't know how to do it". Your brain is going to inundate you with success's arch enemy, uncertainty.
  • [04:47] Where there isn't clarity, there's fear. The brain wants no part of that.
  • [04:56] You need to know how to overcome these "I don't know" thoughts by forcing your brain to push past them.
  • [05:11] I always figure things out. Add this to your manifesto.
  • [06:41] When you're achieving a bigger goal, sometimes things are going to feel uncomfortable. You just need to accept that.
  • [08:57] You should be at the point where you have answers and something to stand on. You should at least have step one. So much is revealed to you in the process that step one is all you need to get going.
  • [09:39] Figure out two things: 1. What is your ultimate goal? 2. What is your next step? Give yourself a time when you are going to do it. Create milestones and targets. Check in with yourself every day.
  • [11:02] On a scale of 1 to 10, where are you at with your goal happening?
  • [12:16] You also need to know when it's time to legitimately take a break.
  • [13:55] At the end of each week, evaluate three things. 1. What worked? 2. What didn't work? 3. What will you do differently next week?
  • [14:41] If you really want to get fancy, find an accountability partner who is also working towards the same goal.
  • [15:36] Keep the big picture in the forefront of your mind, so that you can choose the next steps that align with your overarching goal.

It's time to untangle that self-concept of being a good girl and how it could be holding you back from doing and being who you are called to be. Last week in episode 35, I gave you some homework we will use for this episode. If you haven't listened to that episode, go back and do so.

We're going to talk about how the good girl mentality is likely stopping you from having the life you dream of. We're going to talk about how to uncover hidden dreams, so you can start taking the first steps towards creating the life you want to live. A life that feels fulfilling and purposeful. A life that you really love.

You might feel a little exposed if you did your homework last episode. You might feel like you're seeing yourself for the first time. You've challenged some of those long-standing beliefs about yourself, and now you have a new vision for yourself. We need to solidify your new vision. You spent years building those old thoughts and beliefs, and we don't want those beliefs creeping back in and holding you back.

  • [07:13] Are you people pleasing, pushing down your dreams, and creating boundaries?
  • [14:22] If you do this work upfront, it makes things so much better when you start creating your dream life.

I've been thinking a lot lately about the things that we accidentally believe to be true about ourselves. When someone says something about us or says who they think we are, sometimes we internalize those things.

Whether these things are true or not and whether we're aware of them, these things can become background thoughts. Thoughts that prevent us from becoming who we want to be and creating the life we would love to live.

I don't want you living your life as a shadow of what it could be. I also don't want you to feel overwhelmed with homework. In this episode, I'm going to give a quick method to discover these thoughts and beliefs, and then next week, I'll dive into what to do about them.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:16] I have a friend who commands a room when she walks in. It wasn't always like that for her. Years ago, someone made her feel less than by making fun of her accent.
  • [02:32] When she realized that this passive statement had become the cornerstone of the beliefs that she had about herself, she was able to create changes in her life.
  • [02:42] Someone told another client of mine that they would only be moderately successful in life. Who does that? She dismissed the remark, but it embedded in her mind as the truth.
  • [03:05] She was limiting her goals to create only moderate success.
  • [03:47] What are you believing about yourself? Who planted the seeds either innocently or not so innocently?
  • [04:13] I want you to uncover the limiting beliefs that are holding you back from creating the life that you love.
  • [06:07] Get out your journal and outline the dream scenario for relationships, career, health, and finances. Begin to dream of what your dream scenario will look like.
  • [07:35] Describe yourself. Are you smart, talented, beautiful, etc. and why? What beliefs have you assigned to yourself? What beliefs are you holding on to?
  • [09:42] Do you want to continue this belief or not? Is it serving you? If it's not serving you, it's time to do something about that.
  • [09:55] Take the beliefs that you want to change and find examples of when they have not been true.
  • [10:41] Find the beliefs that are standing in the way of your dreams. Beliefs you have aren't always true. Poke holes in those beliefs, and we'll go deeper into it next week.

Think back to the beginning of the year. Remember that fresh new year that was full of promises? Even if you don’t set beginning-of-the-year goals, this episode will give you some clues as to why you may not be reaching the goals you want to achieve yearly. If you feel dread when you think about August already here and how you only have a few months left this year, this episode is for you.

Two main reasons we struggle with achieving our goals are identity attachment and goal attachment. I break these concepts down and share an example of how these principles prevented me from reaching my fitness goals. I also share homework that will help all of us break these bad habits and get off of the hamster wheel.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:36] Think back to January of this year. Even if you didn't make a lot of goals and resolutions, you probably thought of the new year as a fresh start.
  • [03:43] Let's consider something that you probably haven't thought of. The two main reasons we struggle with achieving goals that we set are 1. identity attachment and 2. goal attachment.
  • [04:15] Identity attachment is being attached to the way you behave and the outcomes you have and possibly even the struggle.
  • [04:41] Pain becomes unconscious when it's part of the identity that you have adapted.
  • [06:45] If you slowly lean into the thing that you want to do, it becomes who you are.
  • [08:17] I was attached to a woman who is trying to lose weight. I was attached to good enough.
  • [09:02] If you tell yourself that good enough is fine, you have no incentive to strive for excellence.
  • [09:47] How do you know that you're addicted to an identity that isn't serving you?
  • [12:38] I don't want to be a woman who is trying. There is nothing dangerous about trying.
  • [12:52] The second reason we don't reach our goals is because we're attached to reaching the goal and achieving the outcome versus being the woman who is committed to reaching her goal.
  • [13:09] You're attached to your goal when you're thinking that reaching it or not reaching it says something about you.
  • [14:48] Commitment is when you can face down the process of reaching your goal knowing that there will be parts that are hard and parts that are amazing.
  • [15:05] Homework: Go through an identity breakup. Spend some time grieving the loss of who you used to be. Make notes of all the actions you've taken as part of being her. Recognize mistakes.

Dr. Nothando Wohlgeschaffen is a medical doctor and a life coach. She’s also a former client. We will dive into what led her to life coaching and how she helps other busy professionals find balance in their hectic lives. When she was becoming a doctor, people would comment on her soft skills. She developed even more one-on-one and communication skills and started helping other professionals during the pandemic.

She realized that she enjoyed life coaching, but there was only one problem. She was a doctor. She did the work and realized that being true to yourself and your gifts is more important than being wrapped up in titles. We have a conversation about some of these struggles that she had. Then she talks about some of the struggles that her clients have had. We also talk about being driven and giving yourself grace when needed.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:23] Dr. Nothando got into life coaching when she realized that she had great soft skills. She kept working on her one-on-one and communication skills. She realized other people might need support outside of a therapeutic relationship. She began coaching other clinicians during the pandemic.
  • [07:37] We talk about not getting wrapped up in titles, and a doctor can be a couch. Dr. Nothando and I worked together to help her expand personally, professionally, and spiritually.
  • [11:30] As a coach, you can see your main struggles in your clients and identify with them.
  • [12:13] People who see Dr. Nothando want to create more time for themselves and their lives. They want to be as healthy as they want others to be.
  • [14:26] She loves her patients, but also enjoys having time to coach. She loves her job and wants more.
  • [16:07] There's a lot of “should thinking” which is a cognitive distortion. A lot of clients also feel unsure about what they should do. Worry about how things are going to turn out can keep you stuck.
  • [18:12] High achieving clients want to know everything before getting started.
  • [19:14] Dr. Nothando did a cooking class with a client. Instead of talking about meal prep, they just cooked during a session.
  • [21:03] Dr. Nothando shares a client story who wanted dating coaching, but two family members were diagnosed with serious illnesses right when the coaching started. She shares a breakthrough moment where her client realized her goals are important, but she can also be kind to herself and take a step back.
  • [24:49] One tip to take care of yourself is to practice using the same level of care that you would for your patients and clients.
  • [25:54] If we treat ourselves like we treat other people, we would be so much more in tune with what we need at the moment.

Have you ever wondered what the boundary between self-love and selfishness is? If so, this episode is for you. I'll be talking about how to be the shining star of your very own life without making everyone else in your life your supporting cast.

Main character energy is a trend that originated on Tiktok. It's where you see your life as a movie, and you're the main character in that movie. It began as a display of self-love, self-recognition, and self-respect. It's all about focusing on you, your dreams, putting yourself first, and how to create the life you love.

Dangerous women are all about creating a life you love, and I love the idea of the main character energy. Just watch out for the downside. If we assume we are the main character, we could cast others as the background characters or the supporting cast. A true dangerous woman takes care of herself while being present for others.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:27] I 100% believe that self-love isn't selfish. There's no way you can be the amazing woman that you are without taking care of yourself.
  • [02:47] There's a fine line between self-love and selfishness. Dangerous women operate in the space of loving ourselves fully while at the same time being present for others. We don't put ourselves last. We decide how we will show up for others and what type of partner we will be.
  • [03:29] How do you put yourself first without being selfish?
  • [03:54] 1. Learn to find the fun, joy, and peace in the everyday parts of your life. What would make your daily life 1% better?
  • [05:16] 2. Use your main character energy to create positives from negatives. Good and bad things happen, but you don't quit on your dream.
  • [06:11] You take what would seem like a negative for other people and turn it into something amazing. You have the ability to look at life from the perspective of every event happening for a purpose.
  • [06:51] You become more resilient, strong and powerful as you look at everything as happening for a reason to benefit you.
  • [07:08] 3. Main character energy knows when to show up as a cast member in someone else's movie to help its main character shine.
  • [07:33] Dangerous women thrive on helping other main characters shine because we know it doesn't take away from our light. It only creates brighter light by supporting each other and building each other up.
  • [08:18] We are calling all the women we know to be their main character and embrace that woman.
  • [08:32] We avoid toxic main character energy when we use it to find the strength and courage to do the things that we want to do in life.
  • [09:35] Something amazing happens when we use our main character energy to bust through the status quo. We show other women that it is possible.
  • [09:50] Be the main character among the main characters. When it looks like it's over, the theme music is just queuing up for your comeback. Pick your theme music now!

If you get easily offended, this episode is for you. This week we dive into what it means to be offended, why we get offended, and how we can stop being easily offended. I go over the definition of being offended and share an even better example in a paper by two Italian psychologists.

We have so many opportunities to take offense from the media we are bombarded with and by people around us. It’s essential to understand why we take offense and how we can develop that strong, dangerous woman's self-concept to feel less offended and have the ability to dismiss the destructive words or use the insight as an opportunity to grow.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:40] Offended means feeling or expressing hurt, indignation, or irritation because of a perceived wrong or insult.
  • [02:09] A better definition is to be triggered by a blow to a person's honor because it contradicts a person's self-concept and identity.
  • [03:19] When we get offended, it's not the words or actions that cause the offense. It's our thoughts about those words that cause us to be offended.
  • [03:55] Challenged viewpoints. Our brains perceive these as a threat, and in response, we get offended. We get offended when other people don't behave or respond in a way that we would.
  • [04:20] A strong self-concept and knowing who you are will allow you to grow from words and actions that are intended to help you grow.
  • [04:47] Use the words and actions to evolve and grow and better yourself.
  • [05:02] Having a weaker self-concept will cause you to internalize and take offense.
  • [05:16] A dangerous woman filters all of the information through her very solid self-concept and decides what to do with it.
  • [05:29] Give yourself grace, compassion, and patience. 1. Come to peace with the fact that everyone has a different worldview. It's important to accept this. 2. Understand what triggers you and ask yourself why. 3. Examine the intent of the other person.
  • [10:11] Sometimes people say things that aren't in your best interest and aren't necessarily for growth. When this happens you have to stand in your strong dangerous woman concept and dismiss it. Not the person, but the messaging. Consider the source before taking offense.

This week we're going to talk about how you can improve every relationship that you have without the other person changing one bit. Whether it be with a family member, friend, or coworker, relationships are a huge part of our lives. Many times, our relationships even dictate how we view our lives.

If our relationships are going well, we believe life is going well. If they aren't going well, we think that life isn't so great. When we base how we feel on relationships, we are really basing how we feel on other people. Today, I want to help free you from the emotional rollercoaster that relationships can put you on. There’s freedom in creating the relationships you love without the other person having to change.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:35] What's a relationship? We often attribute our relationship to something the other person is doing. We look at our feelings as reciprocal to the other person's feelings and behaviors.
  • [03:19] Relationships are your thoughts about that person and their thoughts about you.
  • [04:10] Thinking loving thoughts about a person no matter what will instantly improve your relationship.
  • [04:31] When you change your thoughts about someone and think loving thoughts about them, you create feelings of love. Your actions will line up with those feelings of love.
  • [05:01] The more you practice these thoughts on purpose, the more you will behave in a loving manner. The other person will also begin to shift their behavior.
  • [07:07] Doing this work can help you make a decision whether you are staying in the relationship or not.
  • [08:11] You manage how you're thinking about your relationships. You make decisions from a managed mind.
  • [08:26] You can set a boundary, because you're no longer trying to dictate or control another person's behavior to make you feel a certain way.
  • [08:48] Think about a relationship that you really want to improve. Write down all of the thoughts you have about that other person. Look at all of the judgments you have about that person and see where you are doing the same thing. Decide which thoughts are serving you in which thoughts aren't.
  • [10:12] Create new thoughts you believe right now about this person and practice thinking them.

It's summer time here in Atlanta. It's been in the upper 90s forever, so I've been spending a lot of time reading, planning, praying, thinking, and journaling. One of the things that I've been thinking about a lot lately are the different motivations we use to get things done. I know I'm motivated in many different ways. Some of them are good and some of them aren't so good.

If you've ever wanted to get back at someone by achieving one of your goals, this episode is for you. This week we are talking about what I like to call “revenge goals”. It's tempting to want to use that I'll show you energy, but using this type of motivation can ultimately be detrimental to you and your future goals.

Episode Highlights:

[01:57] The type of motivation I'll be talking about today is the kind that is fueled by a desire to prove somebody wrong or to make them feel bad in some way.

[02:32] It's when you decide to get in the best shape of your life to show your ex what they're missing out on.

[03:18] It's not that this motivation doesn't work, because it does. I want you to consider the energy you're exerting in order to reach a "revenge goal".

[03:34] Your thoughts create your feelings. Your feelings drive your actions. The sum total of your actions are what gives you the result that you have.

[03:51] When we set goals with revenge in mind, the thoughts you have about the circumstance create feelings of rejection, pain, sadness, anger, unworthiness, or even disappointment. Notice the feelings I've just listed.

[04:59] None of us likes to walk around feeling negative emotions. What do you do when you feel negative emotions and where do those actions lead you? What type of results do you get?

[05:08] The actions you take from feeling negative feelings don't get you to where you want to be. Even if they do get you there, you will feel crappy the entire way.

[06:08] The work is not in you achieving a goal to prove something to someone else, the real work is in you believing that you are enough just as you are.

[08:55] Don't let your brain prefer achieving goals through the miserable process of "revenge goals". Don't give your credit to someone else.

[09:43] Never set a goal with the mindset that you have to prove something to someone else. You are worthy.

[10:22] Focus on why you want to achieve your goals.

[11:08] Focus on who you want to be, not who you were.

[13:32] Achieve your biggest, scariest goals. Make your dream a reality and celebrate every step of the way. Do it for yourself.

It’s time to go beyond therapy with Laurie Dierstein, a licensed clinical social worker and the owner of three integrated health clinics. She began Virginia Beach-based Reboot Mind-Body Health and now also has Reboot Functional Health and Reboot Intensive Programs. Each clinic serves a specific need of her patients with a mission of going beyond traditional styles of treatment by marrying them with holistic approaches. The goal is to motivate clients to become active participants in their overall health.

We discuss something most high achievers have experienced, dealing with chronic stress and burnout. We talk about therapy and going beyond to heal the mind-body connection. Laurie is a past client, friend, and a fantastic guest on the show to talk about going beyond therapy and helping women live the extraordinary lives they were meant to be. Stay tuned until the end, when Laurie shares how everyone can start living a healthier and easier life and stop putting themselves last.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:59] Laurie owns three clinics based in Virginia Beach including Reboot Mind-Body Health, Reboot Functional Health Care, and Reboot Intensive Programs.
  • [03:20] Each clinic is slightly different to meet the needs of their patients. They are focused on a comprehensive approach to healing.
  • [04:03] Laurie works with women who are high achievers and burnt out with chronic stress. They work on things like sleeplessness, irritability, mood changes, and infertility.
  • [04:34] Laurie is also a mom and wife and has experienced many of the things that she treats women for.
  • [06:38] Early on in her career, when Laurie was working with people who were dealing with mental health issues, she saw how burnt out the families were, especially the moms from dealing with all of it.
  • [08:03] She also experienced her own difficulties with chronic stress. This has led her to look within and help heal herself.
  • [09:43] During grad school, she experienced panic attacks while on the subway system in Boston. She had to figure out how to prevent this.
  • [10:36] She also experienced infertility. Through IVF, she was able to have two lovely daughters. Unexplained infertility can often be a symptom of chronic stress.
  • [13:40] Identify what you would do for a child and flip the script and do them for yourself. These are things like nutrition, sleep, and exercise.
  • [16:12] We have so much information coming to us, we need to decide what information is right for us. Good information versus bad information. What does your body need?
  • [18:30] People really need proper information about the nutrition that is right for them. Lab work can be very helpful. Sleep is also very important.
  • [22:40] It's not normal to feel depressed and tired and sick all of the time. There's a better way.
  • [25:53] Laurie shares one of her favorite client stories. It revolved around IVF treatment, anxiety, and eating gluten. She became more in tune with her body and foods she ate. She felt better, lost weight, and became less anxious.
  • [30:36] Start tuning into the connection between your brain and your body. Slow down and spend time with yourself. Find a provider that can guide you towards the best direction for you. Find someone who has experience in holistic wellness or integrative practitioner.

A lot of times when people turn to self-help they feel like something is broken or something needs to be fixed. I’m going to give you steps to approach coaching and self-help in a healthy way where your thoughts are your friend and guide you to positive improvement.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:35] One of the biggest issues I see in the self-help and coaching industry is that there can be a lot of people that prey on other people's insecurities and perceived inadequacies.
  • [01:54] A lot of times people will turn to self-help when they feel like they need to fix something. This means you have underlying thoughts that something is broken.
  • [03:21] The first thing to do when looking for coaching or self-help guidance is to consider the source. Is this person walking the walk and not just talking the talk? Are they actually following their own advice?
  • [04:10] Does the guidance make you feel bad about who you currently are or does it make you feel empowered?
  • [05:41] Does your coach hold you up and stand in the gap for you? You want a coach who will cheer you on, support you, and hold you accountable.
  • [06:25] Ground yourself in grace, love, and compassion.
  • [07:04] Connect the thought that you truly believe, that may not make you feel all that great, to an empowered future thinking thought by using but statements.
  • [08:19] Shift your mindset around your perceived inadequacy and insecurities. Don't be in denial that you don't need to make any improvement in your life, but also don't use those things to beat yourself up.
  • [08:51] Make up your mind to work on things one day at a time. You want to live up to be everything that you're put on this planet to be.
  • [09:11] Practice forgiveness and worthiness. Forgive yourself for things that you messed up on and practice believing none of those things make you any less worthy.
  • [10:03] There is a purpose for you and you are worthy. Practice speaking affirmations about your worthiness.
  • [11:22] Don't just be a consumer, put it into action.

My friend and former client, Rachael Seda, is here to talk about empowering women in all of the right ways. Rachael is the CEO and co-founder of Mix + Shine Marketing, a seven-figure Virginia Beach-based marketing and PR agency. Rachael and her business partner, April, built this business from the ground up while being amazing wives and mothers. We learn about the agency's founding and how they were able to create success in their own lives while bringing along as many women as possible.

We kick off the show talking about how and why Rachael and April first met and how they started talking about opening their agency over dinner and drinks. Rachael wanted to create an agency that empowered herself and other women to work hard but still have a life outside of work. We also talked about her first coaching call and how mom guilt was an issue. Rachael has been able to rise to the occasion as CEO and live a life where she makes time for things that matter to her, like family and tennis. Rachael breaks it all down along with some great parting advice.

Episode Highlights:

  • [04:45] Rachael had followed April on Twitter and met her in person at a job interview. Rachael ended up getting the job and getting engaged on the same day.
  • [06:50] They worked together for two years at an agency. During this time they started working on a plan to launch their own agency.
  • Starting the business was the best decision, and they haven't looked back since.
  • [12:34] Rachael wanted to leave a legacy and create a work environment where having children was valued. As a CEO and leader, she wanted someone to talk to and discovered she needed a life coach.
  • [17:21] A lot of her first coaching calls were dealing with mom guilt.
  • [18:42] She has dinner with her family and has great conversations with her kids. Dinnertime creates an environment to raise responsible human beings.
  • [20:25] Managing your mind helps you respond in different ways. We can't control what other people think. We can only control where we are coming from.
  • [21:37] Instead of being annoyed, she tries to come from a place of reaching the goal of having a happy client. Be empowering and solve the problem, sometimes mistakes happen.
  • [22:35] I enjoyed seeing Rachael rise to the occasion of being a CEO and getting out of the weeds. She now does things that are important to her like playing tennis. She needs to make space for herself.
  • [27:10] Sometimes we find value in being busy. We have value just because we are human beings. Rachael let go and leaned into her role in the business.
  • [28:20] She is passionate about female empowerment. Her business is female-owned and has a lot of beautiful female employees. It's a safe environment where they have fun and get stuff done.
  • [29:32] As a team, everyone comes together and helps out when someone has an issue and needs time to deal with it. It's a safe place to have something outside of work that you care about.
  • [35:03] The work that Rachael did in coaching made her an example to show people what's possible. You don't have to choose family, mom, or wife over work.
  • [36:21] Trust your gut instinct. Ask for what you want.
  • [38:57] Find out what song would make the best theme song for Rachael!

Charmaine Platton is a certified life and weight loss coach. She is also a registered nurse who spent eight years working as a nurse at UCLA. She was doing well and making money, but she didn’t feel happy or fulfilled. She didn’t want to treat illness; she wanted to get to the root cause of the problem. She was interested in fitness and started working as a personal trainer. She was struggling with self-doubt and noticed similar patterns in her clients. She looked for information and answers on Google and discovered a podcast that changed her life. She now empowers busy women to find the self-love they need to succeed.

If you have ever struggled with weight loss, emotional eating, or thinking that your body isn’t good enough, this episode is for you. Charmaine is a fantastic guest, truly beautiful, and a dangerous woman. She walks us through her struggles and how she became a coach. She explains why it’s essential to work on self-concept instead of just food and calories. We learn a little bit about her three-month program and how it focuses on helping women become friends with their bodies and trust their own choices after a reset. She is so fun and bubbly that you will enjoy this inspirational episode.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:56] Charmaine was a registered nurse at UCLA for eight years. She didn't feel fulfilled, and she also felt like she wasn't making the impact that she wanted to make. She wanted to help at the root level.
  • [04:03] She was also dealing with some personal struggles and Googled self-doubt and ended up finding a podcast that helped her realize that she wanted to be a life coach.
  • [08:23] Charmaine experienced self-doubt when she was a personal trainer. She still felt bad, even though she had left her nursing job. She started exploring the reason why she was feeling insecurity and doubt.
  • [10:00] After becoming a life and weight loss coach, Charmaine started helping women entrepreneurs who want to lose weight. Many of the women don't feel confident, because they've gained weight or suffer from emotional eating.
  • [11:43] What makes Charmaine's coaching different is that she focuses on self concept as opposed to just weight loss.
  • [13:04] Do I really love my body? When you don't love something, you don't treat it well.
  • [14:54] Charmaine shares her frustrations with diet culture and how it makes people that they can't trust themselves with food choices.
  • [17:05] Her group coaching program is a three month process. In the beginning, she does make recommendations about what to eat. She also wants people to be friends with their body and be comfortable with their body.
  • [18:20] A one-month reset of cutting sugar and starch is helpful to discover what hunger and fullness feel like, then it's time to do the work on how clients feel about themselves.
  • [19:58] See how you eat as choices that you're making that are not right or wrong. Decisions have outcomes. When you make a decision, accept the outcome that comes with it. Be kind to yourself.
  • [23:39] If Charmaine could change one thing about diet culture, it would be for everything not to be so externally driven such as weight or looks. Stop depending on external validation.
  • [24:14] Validate and love yourself internally. Love what you have now.
  • [25:17] Charmaine shares one of her favorite client success stories. By the end of the three months, this client had changed her relationship with herself. She learned to love herself more and lost weight.
  • [27:25] The biggest quick tip is to do an audit of how you think about yourself. Decide how you want to think about yourself. Are you a Ferrari or a Corolla? Decide to be the Ferrari and see how it goes.

Logan Speaker is a coaching client, a friend, and an amazing wife and mother. I’m happy to have her on the show today to talk about her coaching experience, mindset shift, and how excellence no longer became optional for her. For the past five years, Logan has been a realtor and is already in the top 10% and still moving up. She is also friends with my client and previous guest, Kristina Knapp. If you haven’t listened to this episode, check it out. It’s a great one.

The transformation that Logan has had is truly inspirational. She stopped living as if her dreams were an option and now operates in mandatory excellence. She lives life as the best version of herself, which makes her a dangerous woman. She has had a mindset shift that has made her personal life, family life, and career life a dream life. She now feels powerful and strong. If you are ready to love your dream life, these concepts can work for you also.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:32] Before Logan started coaching, she felt defeated, stuck in a vicious cycle, and stagnant.
  • [06:46] Logan noticed changes in Kristina Knapp due to her life coaching, and it sparked her interest in finding a dream life coach.
  • [10:11] When you start changing your life and mindset, people see the changes, and they want to start doing the same thing.
  • [11:15] Beginning with her first coaching call, Logan poured out her heart about what the dream life looked like to her.
  • [12:32] The dreamlife that Logan has received through her work with Krystal includes life flowing easily and not feeling forced. Everything comes to her naturally. Her mindset is clear and she's not hung up on certain emotions or people.
  • [13:24] She's also focusing more on herself and has better flow and work balance. She also shows up and is a better mother now.
  • [15:30] Logan didn't want excellence to be optional, she already had too many options in her life. It's okay to have feelings, but make what you want not an option.
  • [19:06] A lot of the things that Logan wanted to do became success, because they weren't options.
  • [20:26] Krystal's aha moment was when she was able to not get annoyed or go off on her husband. She would let the feelings bubble up and then say "so what" and move on.
  • [25:19] What makes you dangerous is when you're aware of the mindset behind what you do.
  • [26:02] There's a trickle down effect. When you respond differently, other's respond differently. Change your mindset.
  • [27:37] When you do the work, it starts to rub off on people. Nothing has to change in order for you to be happy or at peace.
  • [29:14] Logan's advice would be to talk to a coach and remember that excellence is not an option. Having what you want isn't an option, it's actually your choice whether you want to create it or not.
  • [30:54] Having a renewed mindset and being able to think about things and process them makes Logan feel powerful.

Candle Lockett is a good friend, a client, a real estate master, and someone who has kicked her inner mean girl to the curb so much that she has become the boss of her inner mean girl. I’m so honored to have Candle on the show to talk about how her inner mean girl was holding her back and how she finally overcame the negative thoughts she was listening to and became so powerful and confident that she built a real estate empire. Candle is a real estate investor, consultant, rehabber, and teacher.

She is the host of the Lighting Up Real Estate podcast. This is the perfect name because her mom said that she was the light of her life and named her Candle when she was born. She is very successful with her business, but she is also super passionate about learning and teaching. She is even going back to school to get a Master’s degree in real estate. She also freely shares knowledge and loves teaching. This is why she started the Real Estate Investors on Fire learning community. A community that focuses on building wealth with real estate.

We dive into many of the challenges that Candle was facing. She looked successful on the outside, but her inner mean girl was dragging her down. It even affected her physically so much that she named her inner mean girl Christopher. We learn how journaling and writing down her thoughts first thing in the morning began the process of recognizing and positively processing her thoughts. She walks us through her journey, including a bout with imposter syndrome and how she came out on the other side loving life and being happier than ever.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:19] Krystal and Candle go way back. Candle is the OG Dangerous Woman.
  • [03:48] Candle is finally at a place where she is living authentically and unapologetically. She appreciates pressure and setbacks because the lessons only make her a better person.
  • [04:34] Learning to focus and get aligned has made a huge difference.
  • [05:17] Prior to her growth journey, Candle was struggling with mold allergies. She also had a negative attitude about herself and didn't realize that her criticism was making things worse instead of creating an opportunity for improvement.
  • [06:23] Now she wakes up and celebrates the wins.
  • [07:30] Results of inner mean girl self-talk ended up sabotaging Candle's efforts. Everything she would speak would happen.
  • [08:27] She began journaling and writing everything out, first thing in the morning. This was a really eye-opening experience. She had to get uncomfortable dealing with everything that was within her.
  • [09:06] Candle named her inner mean girl Christopher.
  • [11:54] We don't want to be mean to our inner mean girl, but we want to change the thoughts generated by her with love. We need to know that these are our thoughts and we can control them.
  • [14:12] Ego was one of the biggest things that Candle removed and allowed herself to become vulnerable.
  • [17:06] To let go of who she thought she was and become a better person, Candle had to see herself physically better. Her burden is easier and she wakes up lighter.
  • [17:48] Prior negative thoughts had affected her physically. She was just so tired all the time. It took a toll on her body.
  • [19:20] Now she wakes up excited and jumps out of bed and all that physical weight is gone.
  • [20:05] Imposter syndrome is real. She didn't feel worthy enough or deserving of all of the awesome things she was creating. She kept coming up with excuses.
  • [21:48] She had every excuse possible to avoid launching her course from her platform to getting her podcast off the ground to equipment.
  • [24:31] It's okay to raise your hand and say you need some help and support. This is the first step in your growth.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to work with a life coach? For the next few episodes, I will be talking with some of my clients about what it's like to have a life coach. You get to hear first-hand what it's like working on mindset and changing lives. My first guest is an amazing, dangerous woman, Kristina Knapp. She's the founder of Elixir Media Co, a multiple six-figure business run with a staff full of amazing, dangerous women.

Kristina has been working with me for the past year. She's put in the work to be the best version of herself, and the transformation is nothing short of phenomenal. We have a conversation about all the things coaching. We talk about the struggles that all of us have, including overcoming unworthiness. We talk about living our best lives on our terms. Please listen, take notes, and follow Kristina and the other incredible women I get to speak with. Most importantly, I hope you walk away motivated and inspired to become that dangerous woman you know you are.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:11] Kristina is one of my most favorite people. We are friends and each other's clients.
  • [05:58] Even though it looked like everything was great, Kristina was miserable on the inside. She felt lost in terms of direction.
  • [10:22] A great life coach can see things that you can't necessarily see.
  • [11:52] Krystal helped Kristina realize her income goals. She was making around $100,000 and wanted to make at least $350,000 by working on mindset, she was able to hit that goal.
  • [13:34] Kristina also started to move differently through her everyday life when she began coaching. After a few months, she felt like she was on vacation every day, and it was all because of her thoughts.
  • [16:52] Define what the dream life is for you and work towards it every day. Kristina kicked boxes to the side.
  • [20:07] Kristina would write things on sticky notes and put them in places as reminders. The old programming was so strong that the reminders really helped her.
  • [21:51] Growth isn't about always being happy. It's about how you come back from things that could bring you down. Flip the script quickly.
  • [23:26] The negative feeling may be there, but it's learning not to respond to it and just kind of process it and bounce back instead of wallowing in it.
  • [27:11] It can be painful to let go of pieces of yourself. Even if you don't like who you are, it's comfortable where you're at. Letting go can be painful.
  • [28:17] You may have to mourn those pieces of you that you used as a shield. Once on the other side, you can love and appreciate those parts of you, but you don't have to go back.
  • [30:23] You have to shed those parts of you that don't serve you.
  • [33:18] So what! Can be a favorite saying to apply to things. So what if you fail or people think you're weird or whatever.
  • [38:34] When you do work on you, there's a ripple effect. It trickles down to your family, your clients, and everyone around you.
  • [39:04] Being willing to grow leads to amazing results.
  • [40:24] Find a way to accept and love the darkest parts of you. This was a big game-changer for Kristina. She became the best wife and greatest friend and best mom.
  • [43:22] Commit to being a student of yourself and understanding yourself. Make a decision to be better today than you were yesterday.

You know I talk a lot about setting and achieving goals. This episode is a bit different. I'm going to talk about knowing when it’s time to give up on a goal and move on. How do you know it's time to stop pursuing a plan or pause it? I’m going to talk about three things that are reasons to end or place a hold on that goal.

I’m going to talk about acting like a scientist and approaching things from a place of curiosity, so you can examine your thoughts without judgment and make sure your current goal aligns with who you want to become. This episode will walk you through how to decide if you should continue with your goals or pause or reset them.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:39] There are three instances where you should stop or pause your goal. 1. When you're beating yourself up all the way to reaching the goal. 2. When the goal no longer aligns with who you want to be. 3. When you're okay with not achieving that goal.
  • [02:00] A lot of women struggle with setting a goal and judging themselves on every misstep. You're not getting there fast enough or doing it right enough. There's a whole list of reasons that are wrong.
  • [04:13] The difference between feeling good and encouraged and the difference between feeling discouraged is the difference between reaching your goal or not.
  • [04:37] Pause and rewrite your narrative. Create a process that notes both the good and the bad. There's a way to see both sides of the coin without beating yourself up. Honestly evaluate where you are now.
  • [06:00] Look at what is working. Look at what isn't working. Define what's working and what is potentially in the way. Look at it like a scientist and decide what is and isn't working.
  • [08:11] The second reason is when you become more aware of what you want your goal may not align with that person any longer. It's okay to give up a goal that doesn't align with who you are.
  • [09:59] Give yourself permission to do what really lights your heart up. Imagine what it would be like.
  • [11:37] If you're okay with your goal not happening, you're already setting yourself up for failure. You're giving yourself an out before it even happens.
  • [13:08] Dangerous women need to be on fire about the goals that they set. Be committed to making it happen!

If you ask someone what they want most in life, they will say they want to be happy. We all want happiness. I’ve talked about how our thoughts create our feelings, and these feelings create our actions which produce the results we get. Problems arise when we are chasing happiness. If only I get that promotion, find my true love, or get a fancy new car, I’ll be happy. It doesn’t work like that.

Happiness isn’t external. Other people aren’t the ones who have control over our happiness. It’s time to maintain that dangerous woman lifestyle and live a life of fullness, joy, purpose, and, yes, happiness. We need to feel our feelings and open ourselves up to expand our ability to receive. I’m going to share how to do this and enable you to find happiness regardless of your life circumstances.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:39] As a society, we have been conditioned to think if we're not happy there's something wrong.
  • [04:17] Holding on to the belief that other people affect your happiness will keep you stuck.
  • [04:47] We often think we need people to act a certain way for us to be happy. That isn't the case.
  • [05:23] No matter what you may think, none of us has the power to control anyone. In the long run, trying to control people creates toxic relationships.
  • [06:00] Your thoughts are what drive your feelings.
  • [07:14] Everything we do is because of our feelings. The Compound effect of our actions will be a result of our feelings.
  • [08:11] Examine your thoughts about whatever's making you feel unhappy.
  • [08:49] Think about a part of your life that you are attributing unhappiness to and write out all your thoughts. Every aspect and don't get it.
  • [09:07] Examine each thought. Is it true? Does it matter? What are alternatives to this thought? Is it helpful? Is it serving you?
  • [09:32] Decide on your intentional thinking and take action from there. Intentional thoughts create feelings that create actions. These actions give you the results that you want in life.
  • [10:38] An example where your thoughts can create feelings of resentment that results in actions of dismissal and disdain.
  • [11:41] Examine which thoughts aren't actually true.
  • [13:02] Our brains go all in and focus on whatever we give them to focus on. They are very efficient.

If you're going through your life with a long list of regrets, this episode is for you. This week, I'm talking about different types of regret and how you can use your regret to create and live your best life. It's time to live a life with no regrets. You might be struggling with regret in some parts of your life. You may feel sadness or disappointment over something that has happened or has been done.

We will talk about four types of regret as categorized by Daniel Pink. These include foundation, moral, connection, and boldness. We will talk about each type and how it affects your life, and how you can use regret to move forward. I will give you a three-step method that will make you bolder when taking chances, so you can honor yourself while going after your deepest God-given desires. You'll have stronger relationships and tighter connections, and you'll love yourself more.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:49] Foundation regrets are the regret you feel when you feel like you haven't done the work. This is when you don't have the necessary foundation such as saving for retirement or completing your degree.
  • [02:20] Moral regrets occur when we feel like we've done something wrong. Examples of this can include cheating on a test or stealing or even telling a lie.
  • [02:31] Connection regrets are all about relationships. These are the feelings that come from fractured relationships or relationships that have drifted apart. Not feeling loved or not spending enough time with someone can be classified as a connection regret.
  • [02:51] Boldness regrets is probably the largest category. This is regret from missing a chance or an opportunity. This is the chance that wasn't taken.
  • [04:58] Step 1: Forgive yourself. When you live a life with regret, it's because you haven't let yourself off the hook for making the choices that you made.
  • [05:36] Accept that you made a choice that you're not proud of and keep in mind that the decision does not define you. Accepting what is the only way out of the loop.
  • [06:48] Step 2: Reframe your regret with a but. We are trying to create new feelings from the thoughts we have that are currently causing us to feel regretful.
  • [09:24] A helpful way to create a reframing thought is to add a but, a small but very powerful word that connects sentences. In this case, it connects your current thought to your new thought that you would like to believe.
  • [11:27] Step 3: Practice thinking your but statement. It seems like nothing is working, but all things work together for my good.
  • [12:32] This method will work for all of our negative emotions like regret, discouragement, and anger.
  • [12:48] Repeat these steps for every area in your life that you are feeling regret. The more you practice, the more you will forgive yourself.

We're rounding out the first quarter of 2022. If you're like me you've had several breakdowns over this time. Everything is going fine until it's not. Suddenly, you get extra work at your job, or your kids act out, or you're struggling with your business. You become frustrated and paralyzed. You know you want to move forward, but you're not doing it. You've become critical because you're not doing what you know you should be doing.

You're in a full-blown rut and getting out of it seems insurmountable. It’s not that you don’t know what to do or that you’re lazy. It’s just that you are stuck with old subconscious programming. This programming is playing in your head without you even realizing it. Today, I’m sharing a process that will pull you out of that rut every single time.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:47] You end up stuck in a rut. You're just going through the motions and you can't figure out how to do anything differently.
  • [03:07] The problem that causes this is old subconscious programming.
  • [03:47] It's time to learn how to bounce back from setbacks.
  • [03:51] When you feel stuck and unable to move forward I want you to do these four things: 1. Ground yourself. This could be praying, asking for guidance, or meditating.
  • [04:47] 2. Write out all of the thoughts that you had. Allow the thoughts and feelings and write them out. Just allow it to be there.
  • [06:03] I was in a rut last week, and I did the exact process I'm sharing with you today. I grounded myself in prayer and knew that I was in a rut because nothing was working.
  • [07:45] 3. Identify the feeling that's created when you think that thought. You can interchange two and three. We just want to get to the root cause to get out of it.
  • [08:26] Allow yourself to ask the question of how that thought makes you feel and see what comes up.
  • [09:25] 4. Ask yourself what you do or don't do when you feel the feeling that you've identified. Recall how you've behaved or acted when you were feeling this feeling.
  • [10:37] 5. Challenge those thoughts that are holding you back. When you see what action you take when you have those thoughts or feelings, you see what those thoughts or feelings create in your life. Your thoughts will always show up in the results that you have.
  • [11:49] Leveling up your mindset is all about asking yourself high-quality questions. When you challenge thoughts, you do so by looking at the thought from a place of curiosity.
  • [12:43] Push past your I don't know and figure out what it is. Find what's working.
  • [13:55] You get to make a decision based on who you want to be and what line or decision you are going to choose.
  • [14:55] Find that next believable thought that you can build on to get out of the rut.
  • [15:51] Create a new thought to counter the one that isn't working for you.

If you're in a chronic pattern of starting and stopping when trying to implement new changes in your life, this episode is for you. We will get out of the start/stop cycle and stop quitting for good. Have you ever envisioned your perfect day? The one where you get up early and read, meditate, exercise, and have me time before everyone else is up.

You read about it, plan it, schedule it and wake up with good intentions, but it never gets off the ground or is short-lived. Do you need motivation, inspiration, or more information? You might, but the mindset and self-concept really prevent us from following through with what we want. Today, I will walk you through leveling up your self-concept and getting rid of negative beliefs.

Episode Highlights:

  • [04:26] You have big plans to get up early and have the perfect routine that results in the ideal day, but you end up falling back into old habits and going through the cycle of starting and stopping your excellent new practice.
  • [04:40] You spend money on self-help books, YouTube videos, and even buy courses. You might even hire a coach. In theory, having someone holding you accountable should make a habit stick, but it doesn't always work that way.
  • [05:23] If you don't believe that you're the person who actually does these habits you want to implement, your self-concept won't allow them to happen.
  • [06:04] As soon as your accountability partner isn't around, your old programming will kick in.
  • [06:48] The real work is not in the action. The real work is leveling up your self-concept to match that of a woman who embodies the habits you want. A woman who does these things because of who she is.
  • [06:55] It always comes back to your self-concept and who you believe you are.
  • [07:33] Pick one habit that you want to work on. Ask and answer these questions. How does a woman with this habit behave? Write down the answers. What's the mindset?
  • [08:31] What thoughts do I have now that are the opposite of what I want to think, and how do they impact my behavior?
  • [09:18] What are the challenges to these thoughts? Line them up like a defense attorney.
  • [10:40] Your goals aren't optional. You need to challenge your negative thoughts and remind yourself how to rebut those thoughts.
  • [12:04] After you've done your mindset work, then you get to decide how you're going to build these habits into your day.
  • [12:37] It's not Magic. It's not a miracle. It's the mindset. It's you finally leaning into your version of a dangerous woman.

If you’ve got big dreams and goals but aren’t working towards those things or don’t believe they are attainable. You could be suffering from optional excellence. This is where you set big goals but give yourself just enough room not to fully commit to avoid feeling fear, discomfort, disappointment, and failure. You make it optional to be everything you were called to be. This is a mindset led by emotions.

You're allowing emotions to be your compass to guide and direct you as to what you should do next. Your actions from optional excellence will be rooted firmly in your comfort zone. Don't be just enough. It might even look from the outside in that you are motivated to achieve your goal. It’s time to stop counting yourself out when there is a purpose only you can fulfill. I'm going to guide you on fighting through year fears and avoiding that trap of the optional excellence mindset.

Episode Highlights:

  • [05:15] I don't want you spending any more time trying to outrun the call of your soul.
  • [05:28] Your emotions should be used as a diagnostic tool that shines a light on what's going on inside of you. They can give you a clear picture of why you're taking the action or not.
  • [06:01] If your action and intention aren't in alignment with your biggest dreams you need to challenge that. I'm going to show you how to break out of the optional excellence mindset.
  • [06:54] You fill the void with everything that you were meant to be and allow yourself the possibility that you were wrong or miscalculated the excellence that is within you.
  • [07:18] I'm going to give you some guidance on fighting through fears. Fear keeps us from doing what we've been dreaming about.
  • [08:01] The path to where you are and where you want to be is filled with different flavors and varieties of fear.
  • [09:29] Look at your vision board and journal and ask these questions: 1. What exactly am I afraid of and why? 2. What negative outcomes am I imagining? 3. What negative thoughts am I pushing away or trying not to think about? 4. How are these fears stopping me from keeping my goals? 5. What will I miss out on if I don't face these fears?
  • [10:23] Really think about the answers to these questions.
  • [10:42] Would you rather live with the fears and not have the life you want or would you rather face the fears and have the life you want?
  • [11:02] If you decide that facing your fears is worth it to you, you've got to commit to yourself.
  • [12:00] Coaches are what bring the vision to life for you.
  • [12:30] Stop treating your dreams as options. Weigh your fears against your dreams and challenge their validity.
  • [13:24] Do you work and share it with your girlfriend!

You know those monumental goals, the ones that you put out there for someday. Is it possible that they are so big that something is holding you back? Could that something be you or, more accurately, your mindset? This week, I will help you overcome any drama you feel about setting those big goals.

We will dive right in and do the work to discover the gaps and thoughts that may be preventing you from getting there. I have a four-step process that you can repeatedly do to hit your goals and have the confidence to create and live the life that you want. It’s time to sit down with pen and paper and make those big goals real and within your reach.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:26] Take an inventory of your life. Get out your journal and think about your career, your relationships, your health, and your money. Rate these areas on a scale of 1 to 10. Write out your rating and why.
  • [02:47] Look at it as information from a very neutral place. This is your starting point.
  • [03:05] Go back to the area and think about what would need to change to make that area a 10 out of 10. Allow yourself to dream. The sky's the limit.
  • [04:01] We're going to focus our time on the space from where you are to where you want to be. Don't let negative thoughts stop you from taking productive action.
  • [05:27] Challenge your thoughts that might be holding you back. We're going to systematically dismantle them. Think about it like climbing a ladder. You take one rung at a time.
  • [06:09] Find your next believable thought that moves you from impossibility to perhaps or maybe. Test the limits of your belief and seek examples that help you move up the ladder.
  • [07:45] To become a dangerous woman you have to be willing to test your limits.
  • [08:08] Think about the feelings that you think you're going to feel once you reach your goal. What feelings are going to be important in your journey?
  • [09:04] All of the feelings we want to feel come from our thoughts. These feelings are within our reach when we find the believable thought that drives that emotion.
  • [10:19] Vision boards are great because they give us a visual reminder. Don't let your vision board become a glorified instrument of procrastination. You need to put the necessary action behind it to make it a reality.
  • [11:09] Define how you would show up and embody those characteristics. How do you show up in boldness? What thoughts exemplify boldness? How do you display confidence, etc?
  • [12:38] Look at characteristics you admire in others and create your own version that aligns with who you are.
  • [14:13] Do this work and share it with your girlfriends.

You need to be able to reframe how you think about failure and your fear of it to be a dangerous woman and tackle those big vital dreams. I’m going to uncover some of why we have these fears. Then I’ll show you how to capitalize on any fear of failure that you experience from this point and move forward. It’s time to accomplish the important stuff and not let anything hold you back.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:44] If you can't reframe your fear of failure, you'll never be able to accomplish the things that you have been dreaming about doing.
  • [03:25] It's time to learn how to fail forward to create the life of your dreams.
  • [04:05] Failure is an unavoidable side-effect of living. Wouldn't you rather fail at trying to create the life of your dreams than just fail at trying at all?
  • [04:24] The big reason we feel we need to avoid failure is because we make it all about us. For some reason, we make failing mean that we are a failure. Your inner mean girl is going to blow this thing up.
  • [05:15] It's possible to make failure mean something so negative about who you are that you could take it personally and use it as a character flaw. Of course, your brain will want to avoid this at all costs.
  • [06:48] Decide right now what you will make failure mean. Fully experience all aspects of going through a failure and learn from it. Don't let it shut down any possibilities of you getting up and trying again. You get to decide that you'll have your own back.
  • [07:46] You are growing wiser and more experienced and this failure is making you grow even stronger. Write this down somewhere.
  • [09:04] Decide what you will do if you fail. That could be as easy as deciding to keep going.
  • [09:50] You get to feel any way you want to. Don't try to avoid your feelings. Feel it without reacting or saying negative things about yourself. Give yourself space and make your decision about your next step.
  • [10:27] Find your support system. Surround yourself with people who will support you and encourage you. You also need people to hold you accountable. Your crew of dangerous women will not allow you to wallow.
  • [11:09] Dangerous women don't call their girlfriends out, they call them up to what they know they can be.
  • [11:43] Stretch yourself to think of what did work and write it all out. Write out the facts and write out what you will do differently the next time. Find evidence that you are resilient and have gained wisdom.
  • [13:13] What are you proud of this week? What is one thing that makes you want to celebrate yourself? Honor your growth and find ways to celebrate yourself.

Have you ever worried about not being liked by other people or being rejected? If so, this episode is for you. We are going to talk about rejection and how you're going to bounce back from it better than ever. When's the last time you felt rejected? Was it from a partner, a friend, maybe a potential client?

Maybe the thought of rejection brings up memories of being picked last. Whether you label it as rejection or not, rejection is very common. I think it's one of people's biggest fears. Rejection is defined as the act of pushing someone or something away. Being rejected can make us feel like we aren't good enough.

We'll question ourselves or wonder what we need to change about ourselves to be accepted. It can actually feel painful. Researchers have actually found that the pain of rejection gives your brain the same signals as physical pain. Avoiding rejection can prevent us from following our dreams. That’s why today, I’m going to show how to avoid that fear by bouncing back better than before.

Episode Highlights: * [02:54] Desperately seeking to avoid rejection at all costs can be a problem. The cost of showing up in the world in the way that your heart is begging you to do. * [03:34] Being in the background isn't an option for a dangerous woman. * [04:46] Have you noticed a time in your life when you felt rejected and then things turned out even better than you thought they would be because of the rejection? Such as a job opportunity that leads to an even better one. * [05:55] What if you decide that all things work together for your good? Always. Have the faith that it will eventually make sense. * [06:38] The next time you're feeling rejected, consider the source. All rejection is an amazing opportunity to really look at yourself, but not all rejection is a reason to try and change yourself. * [07:31] When someone's being intentionally cruel, you don't need to take in all the hate or change something about yourself. * [08:05] If you dismiss every rejection or every person who rejects you as a hater, you could miss some amazing growth opportunities. * [08:33] The second thing I want you to do is be very kind, gentle, and loving with yourself. You don't want to get stuck in the wrongness. You want to create a positive growth opportunity. * [10:07] Being gentle, kind and loving will give you the confidence you need to make any changes that will enable you to grow in your life. * [10:12] Do a reality check. Be real with yourself, because rejection is a part of life. * [10:44] Rejection is going to happen no matter what. Wouldn't you rather face rejection going in 100% on being you and fulfilling your biggest dreams? Who wants to suffer for something mediocre or less than? * [12:13] What would you stop avoiding if you didn't fear rejection? Take the time to reflect on rejections from your past that you still feel the pain from and see how you could use this as fuel.

Have you caught yourself comparing yourself to others recently? Maybe you were scrolling through social media or minding your own business at the grocery store when suddenly it happened. You notice someone that appears to be in a place in their life that you would like to be, and the comparison starts.

Nine times out of ten, you end up on the negative end of the comparison. Somehow you aren’t measuring up the way that they are. You start to question whether there’s something wrong with you or what you’re doing wrong. It happens suddenly, and then that wave of insecurity hits. Studies show that 90% of women view themselves negatively compared to other women.

This episode will show why the comparison trap is never helpful and how to break out of it. There’s no reason to compare yourself to others and make yourself feel less than. It’s time to catch yourself when the comparisons begin. You can control your thoughts. It’s time to focus on all of the good and abundance that we all have. It’s time to take back our thoughts and be the dangerous women we are.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:32] Why do we compare ourselves to others? It's a natural tendency. By comparing ourselves to others we're actually getting information. We're looking to others or the mouse has to tell us how we're supposed to think, act, feel, or believe.
  • [04:02] Comparing yourself to another person is a no-win situation. You can only base that comparison on the part of that person's life that you have access to.
  • [05:59] Social media and Instagram are just one big highlight reel. These platforms aren't showing you the parts of people's lives that don't feel good.
  • [07:00] The flip side of underestimating yourself is over-exaggerating who you are. These thoughts foster a place of jealousy and envy that comes from a place of scarcity and lack. Underlying lack and scarcity can push us to a place of judgment.
  • [08:17] Have you ever looked at someone and thought they were doing too much? This could be a trigger that you're not doing enough. This is really a distraction from the thoughts that you think about yourself.
  • [09:22] How does it make you feel when you compare yourself to other people? What emotions does it bring up? What actions do you take or not take?
  • [10:10] Catch yourself when you notice that you're going down the comparison route. Stop and shift your focus. You control your thoughts. Find something positive that you are doing now.
  • [10:51] Face the facts. Comparison is a game that you won't win. Someone else being beautiful or successful does not negate your beauty or success.
  • [12:52] When I see someone winning I allow it. I don't do things from a place of envy. To be a dangerous woman, we have to allow our feelings while not responding and reacting to them. Especially, when it causes us to act out of alignment with who we are and who we are becoming.
  • [13:36] Validate why your success is next by pulling out your successes and all your growth and potential. What would you do if you truly believed that you were next and you didn't have to compete with anyone?
  • [14:48] Come up with a list of things that you are proud of achieving. Come up with a list of things that you're grateful for. Be grateful for what you have now. Be in abundance.

If you want to have healthy, fulfilling relationships, you must set boundaries correctly. I'm going to teach you how to create healthy boundaries that will increase your relationships with other people and help create a more loving relationship with yourself. I’m going to talk about the pitfalls of setting boundaries incorrectly, such as setting them to get your way in a relationship or not following through with what you’ve set.

I’ll also talk about how poorly set boundaries can adversely affect your relationships. Then I’ll show you how setting boundaries correctly can help you create love, connection, and intimacy in your relationships with others and yourself. Then I will give you a three-step process to create healthy boundaries that will nurture and honor your relationships. There are also action steps to help you start the process today. Let’s get going.

How is your past affecting you? Have you thought that your life would be different if you had made different choices at one time or another? Our pasts affect our lives according to our thoughts—the results we have in life start and end with us. We may blame things on events from the past or choose to ignore past events that affected how we perceive ourselves.

I’m going to go through how we deal with past thoughts and share a method to inventory how our beliefs about past events affect us and how to choose a new, better path forward. Even if you think the past is over, it’s possible that you could still be acting subconsciously from those events and subsequent thoughts.

These practical tips will help you repurpose and change your perception of the past in a way that helps you take steps towards a positive future. It’s time for you to create the life you want and deserve and are meant to have. It’s time to decide that you will determine your future and change your mindset to live the life you were meant to live.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:11] People who believe their past is negatively impacting their future either ignore the past altogether or blame every unwanted result on the past.
  • [02:23] People who ignore the past avoid any acknowledgment or impact that the past has had on their life. They push away any thoughts of the past because they fear what will happen if they allow those thoughts.
  • [03:28] Your thoughts create your feelings. Feelings drive actions and actions create all of the results we have in life.
  • [04:01] There is absolutely no shame in seeking out help when you're dealing with the thoughts that you have about the past. Seeking out a therapist is one of the bravest things that you can do.
  • [04:13] The second group of people blame everything wrong on their past or on somebody from their past. This keeps you in a constant battle that you can't win because you can't argue with the reality of what happened.
  • [06:07] Decide from this point forward that no matter what your past was, you will determine the path that you take in the future. Do the work to change your mindset.
  • [07:04] Write about some of the defining moments of your life. Then go back and list just the facts. A powerful way to do this is to remove all of the adjectives from your story.
  • [08:27] Compare the two stories. You get to decide which version you want to use the build on. The thoughts driven by those adjectives that caused the feelings are what keep us stuck.
  • [09:26] Look back over the parts of your life story that you thought disqualified you or made you less than and come up with three reasons why going back through them has equipped you to achieve your biggest dreams.
  • [10:25] This will release you from the self-imposed barriers that you've placed on yourself from the past. When you learn how to repurpose and change your thoughts about your life, you become a different caliber of strong.
  • [11:05] Let this be the year that you take care of yourself and ask for the help that you need. This allows you to be the woman that you were meant to be and gives you the capacity to do more for others.
  • [12:33] I'm grateful to my past for teaching me __________________ fill in the blank.

We all have big dreams. We can picture the fantastic result, but we don’t usually imagine the hard stuff. When discomfort and frustration start to creep in, we discover it’s not so easy after all. Many of us throw in the towel and give up at this point. Feeling uncomfortable isn’t part of the dream. We think if it’s going to be this hard, we might as well give up.

This episode is for you if you've ever taken discomfort to indicate that you should stop pursuing your goal. Sometimes, we have expectations that everything should be comfortable and easy. I even felt this way when I first began coaching. I was so excited to help people. I knew this was my calling, and I jumped right in.

I started my Instagram account, which I knew would take off immediately, but it didn’t. I figured the easiest way to fix this was to hire someone already successful on Instagram to take care of things for me. This may have been comfortable and easy, but deep down, I knew I needed to be the one sharing my message with my audience, and I was right.

Episode Highlights:

  • [01:41] I had big expectations when I started my coaching business. My Instagram account wasn't growing, so I hired an "expert." I also ignored that small voice telling me that I should be the one writing my message to my audience.
  • [06:57] I share when I knew that I shouldn't have ignored those feelings. I knew that no matter how uncomfortable it was, I had something to say that needed to be heard.
  • [08:03] I needed to be an example. I couldn't talk to women about doing all of these things if I wasn't doing them first.
  • [09:46] What you think about yourself internally is expressed and exposed in what your life is like externally. Unless you change or alter this programming, you cannot think, feel, or act differently.
  • [10:25] Your negative thoughts about yourself will always show up in how you behave. If there's a place in your life where you feel you're not as successful as you should be, it's due to a poor self-concept.
  • [11:03] The way to overcome these problems is to upgrade your self-concept. When you change your inner thoughts, you will see the benefits in your outer world.
  • [12:01] To improve your self-concept in any area, you have to first know what the goal is. You need to know the woman you desire to be.
  • [12:21] The Dangerous Woman Manifesto will give you a blueprint. Download it and study it.
  • [12:52] Visualize yourself being this woman. Visualization will activate your subconscious mind. Picturing yourself being this woman will align your thoughts with the idea of your ideal self.
  • [13:32] Speak positive words and affirmations over your life. Speaking positive affirmations that you believe to be true will override your old self-concept.
  • [14:10] Become the woman now. Please don't wait until later to become her. Use your knowledge of who she is to take on her characteristics. When you do this, you'll feel confident.
  • [15:21] Everything shifted when I began thinking, feeling, and acting on purpose as a successful, powerful coach.
  • I made sure I looked and felt the part of a successful, powerful coach. I became what I visualized.
  • [17:25] Go be a dangerous woman. Start today!

Have you ever looked at your calendar and wondered how can I ever get all of this done? Do you feel like you have too much to do or don't have enough time to get it done? These feelings of inadequacy and anxiousness can be a result of overwhelm. This episode will help you overcome those feelings of overwhelm and be the dangerous woman you are.

I'm going to talk about how our thoughts affect our feelings and actions. I'm going to explain how two people with similar circumstances can each have a to-do list with ten items, and one person is overwhelmed, and the other doesn't think it's a big deal. I will explain why we have limiting thoughts and how to challenge those thoughts.

I will give you questions to ask to help you change your thoughts and change your actions. I'm going to help you understand that you do have the time to do what you need to do. I'm going to give you suggestions to help kick overwhelm to the curb and schedule your important tasks while getting rid of the things that aren't important. This new year is the perfect time to improve your thoughts and improve your life.

Episode Highlights:

  • [04:25] When you have thoughts that create feelings of stress and feelings that you aren't enough, you will always feel overwhelmed and burnt out. A to-do list is neutral until you attach thoughts to it.
  • [05:30] The Model explains that we have circumstances which are anything we consider to be a fact. We are taught that our feelings are created by things outside of us. We're told our feelings are caused by circumstances.
  • [06:58] The step between our circumstances and our feelings, that many people never consider, is our thoughts. There's a circumstance. We have a thought about that circumstance. That thought creates a feeling.
  • [07:31] Your life as it is right now is a result of your past thoughts. If you really want to change your life. The only thing you can control is your thoughts. It's the only thing you can control in this world. You can't control other people. What you do control is how you respond to that.
  • [09:00] If you feel like the same thing is happening to you over and over, it's because there's a thought driving every decision you make that is keeping you stuck.
  • [09:59] If you want to make overwhelm optional start to pay attention to your thoughts. Challenge your thoughts. Ask questions.
  • [10:43] Is this true? What else could also be true here? Is it true that I have so much to do? Is it true that I only have so many hours? Is it true that I don't know what to do? Is it true that I don't know what to say?
  • [12:09] Overwhelm causes inaction. Challenge and question your thoughts that are causing overwhelm.
  • [14:43] Write out every task you need to complete. Schedule the things that you need to get done. Write out a date and time. Ask what is necessary. Do a life edit and delegate or delete things that aren't necessary.
  • [15:43] I have the time to do what I want and need to do. It's scheduled and it's going to get done. This is your weapon against overwhelm.
  • [15:54] I'm doing the best that I can with the time that I have. I am enough. I am capable. When I focus and prioritize, I have time to do everything that's important to me. Don't let overwhelm stop you from becoming a dangerous woman.
  • [16:37] Your thoughts create your feelings which drive your actions and ultimately give you your results in life. Your results in life are a direct reflection of what you have been thinking. In order to have different results, you have to think different thoughts.
  • [16:58] When you feel overwhelmed ask yourself a series of pointed questions. Have an internal dialogue that questions the validity of your self-imposed limitations.
  • [17:11] Homework: Continue working on your 30-day Focus according to the stage that you're in. Continue to monitor what you're thinking about and journal about that.

It's the last week of 2021. It's time to think about what you are proud of accomplishing. This may have been the year that you started setting boundaries in your relationship or developing healthier habits. It might be the year you finally started your business or hit those long-awaited career goals. You can be proud that you just made it through the year without losing your mind.

I want you to have a positive attitude as you wrap this year up so that you'll look at next year with more positivity and abundance. That's why today we're going to talk about the one decision that will change your life once you learn how to make it. Doing this will help you reach goals in half the time, and it will pay off repeatedly throughout your life.

Episode Highlights:

  • [02:30] Your life will change when you make the decision to not try and do everything on your own. It's time to choose to ask for help.
  • [02:59] Many women find it hard to ask for help, because they think they have to do everything themselves. This is why so many of us struggle with superwoman syndrome.
  • [04:48] Another reason women feel like they shouldn't ask for help is because it makes them feel like they are somehow losing control.
  • [05:30] There are times when you might not ask for help because you like being a martyr. You may also feel like you're being a bother or your pride could even get in the way.
  • [07:22] You also may not truly be able to express what your needs are.
  • [08:51] Challenge your perspective. Strong women ask for help. Challenge any negative thoughts that come up. Ask yourself how asking for help can be the most powerful thing that you can do?
  • [09:47] Figure out exactly what you need and ask for it. What would make your life easier? What would you give you extra time in the day to do the things you've been talking about doing forever? What would give you time to rest or spend time with their loved ones without feeling stressed or overwhelmed?
  • [10:51] Once you know what you want, communicate clearly what your needs are. Don't be vague. Don't apologize. Dangerous women know when to raise their hands and ask for help. Make yourself available to help others.
  • [12:31] Learning how to ask for help will change your life. Some of the reasons you might ask for help include feeling like you should be able to do it by yourself, fear of losing control, wanting to play the role of a martyr, or feeling like you already know how to do everything.
  • [12:53] Challenge your beliefs about what it means to you to ask for help. Figure out what you need and clearly communicate that to others.
  • [13:15] Look at your schedule and find one thing big or small that you can ask for help with.
  • [15:03] If all your wildest dreams come true next year in 2022, what would you be thankful for? Write it out in your journal and start being grateful for these things now.

December and the year are both almost over. Isn't it funny how we start looking back at how things went when we get near the end of something? I hope you're looking back at this year with a lot of pride. 2021 has been rough for a lot of people. Take some time to look at the things that you did right. I hope you're looking back with pride and not judgment. It's okay if you didn't achieve all that you planned. If you blame procrastination on laziness, you may be surprised by what we uncover in this episode.

There are so many things that can stall our goals. Today, we will talk about two pervasive ways that plans get delayed. We are going to talk about procrastination and why we procrastinate. Then I'm going to share five steps to overcome procrastination. I'm also going to talk about having shaky values and genuinely understanding what you value the most. You can overcome shaky values by acknowledging what's happening and creating a blueprint on how you want to live your life. I also share action steps to do the work and become the dangerous woman you're meant to be.

Episode Highlights:

  • [03:19] One of the ways we tend to stall our progress is by procrastinating. Procrastination isn't always caused by laziness. It can be caused by negative feelings and task avoidance.
  • [04:37] If you aren't aware that thoughts about the tasks are the root cause of your procrastination, you won't be able to manage it.
  • [05:29] Feelings of self-doubt can be created by thoughts of not being good enough. Doing it later gives us relief, but later it intensifies the negative emotions.
  • [07:14] Productivity hacks aren't always effective against procrastination, because it doesn't always address the root of why it's happening. We need to address the mental root of why we are procrastinating.
  • [08:26] Give yourself grace. Challenge those negative thoughts that remind you of how you're procrastinating are putting off the important things.
  • [09:11] Think of your brain like a search engine. Make a list of all of the times that you accomplished your goals. Remind yourself of how you can get things done.
  • [10:30] Take the toddler approach and ask yourself why. Once you know the thought, you can deal with it. What would I do if I didn't think this was difficult?
  • [13:25] Take the next best step once your brain is unlocked.
  • [14:21] Now you can build your productivity muscles. Schedule the tasks and follow through on what you say you're going to do.
  • [16:19] Another way people stall their progress is by having shaky values.
  • [17:17] Honestly look at your values. Do you value other people's opinions or your image over what you truly desire? Are you waiting for someone's seal of approval?
  • [19:06] Are you valuing comfort overreaching your goals? Where are you choosing comfort over your goal? The first step is admitting that this is true.
  • [21:57] Create a standard for who you are becoming. Look towards the future and the life that you want to create.
  • [22:57] There is a reason why journaling, affirmations, and vision boards are so powerful. Take the reality of what's in our mind and bring it into existence.
  • [24:42] Print out the Dangerous Woman Manifesto and put it on your mirror. Put it everywhere. If there's something specific you want to work on, add it to the manifesto.
  • [25:48] Do the work!
  • [26:49] Are you willing to be wrong about yourself and what you think is possible for you?

Are you ready to have your best year ever? If so, I have two things that we should all cancel to have the best 2022 possible. This is the time of year when a lot of us start focusing on goals and plans for the upcoming year. Is it finally time to lose that extra weight or follow through with those workout goals? Do you want to make big career changes or earn more money? Are these some of the goals and plans you had for last year, but life got in the way, and the important things were never finished or even started?

I’m going to talk about two things that many of us do to stall our progress. I’m also going to talk about why these two things are so detrimental. I’m also going to share three affirmations that can help you overcome pitfall number one. I’m also going to share three important questions that will help us get over those mental hurdles. I’m also going to share three questions that will help us get past the second thing that we all need to cancel in 2022. We are going to practice envisioning what life would be like without these roadblocks. We are going to look at what life would be like when we are confident, dangerous women who are doing what we were meant to do.

Episode Highlights:

  • [00:02:33] It’s time to stop saying yes when we want to say no. It’s time to stop people-pleasing. It’s not selfish to put your needs first.
  • [00:03:32] You are not responsible for other people's feelings. Changing your actions to make other people happy reinforces the belief that you are the cause of their unhappiness.
  • [00:04:29] People pleasing will burn you out. Trying to make everyone else happy creates exhaustion and frustration.
  • [00:06:07] Resentment comes when you continually deny yourself and put your needs on the back burner. You've relegated your entire future to someone else's needs.
  • [00:07:45] Don't neglect and abandon yourself. Don't put yourself last in every scenario. You have to fill your cup first before you can fill the cup of another person.
  • [00:08:04] It's completely normal for us to want to make other people happy. It's time to start acknowledging our own worth. If you are here there is a purpose for that. That alone makes you worthy.
  • [00:09:23] Acknowledging your own worth can be the most difficult step for some people, but it’s time to start.
  • [00:10:29] Affirmations for self-worth: 1. My needs matter. They are just as important as everyone else's. 2. I am allowed to and deserve to be able to express my truth and my feelings without fear of repercussion. 3. I am worthy just as I am.
  • [00:11:26] Ask yourself: 1. By saying yes to this, what am I saying no to? 2. Am I basing my answer on how I think they will respond? 3. If I were to be true to myself, what would I say?
  • [00:12:38] Consider how often you say yes when you really want to say no. What would you say if you were really true to yourself?
  • [00:12:51] The second thing we are going to be canceling in 2022 is avoiding change because of fear. When we start doing things differently our brains send out signals that there is danger ahead.
  • [00:13:41] Changing requires a stretch. It requires our brains to think in new, sometimes uncomfortable ways.
  • [00:14:42] With uncertainty comes a loss of control. We don't like not being in control. We also avoid change because of fear of failure and fear of rejection.
  • [00:15:43] The way we think of failure is what makes it so bad. If we think something terrible is going to happen if we fail, we will beat ourselves up and be afraid to try.
  • [00:16:39] Ask yourself: 1. If I weren't afraid, would I still do this? 2. What is the worst thing that could happen? 3. So what?
  • [00:21:42] What would your life look like if you canceled people-pleasing and avoiding change in 2022? Really think about this question and journal about it.

Welcome to the very first episode of How to Be a Dangerous Woman. I'm Dr. Krystal Conner. Since we're friends now, you can call me Dr. K. If you've tuned into this podcast, it's probably because you're all about self-improvement. You want to become the best version of yourself. You know you're capable of more and want to break through all of the obstacles standing in your way. You can picture what you want, but you don’t know how to get there.

I'm a certified life coach who helps female business owners go from frazzled entrepreneurs to confident CEOs so that they can be dangerous in life and business. I started as a pharmacist. I was also the CEO of my family's ground maintenance company. I had a great life. I had the degree, husband, two kids, and all the things. I still couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing in my life. I went through a personal life crisis, and thanks to the help of a fantastic life coach, I found my calling.

This podcast will walk you through all of the steps to create the life you want and enable you to live in a healthy, happy, harmonious, joyful way. We aren’t going to blame other people or circumstances for our results in life. This journey won't be passive. Each episode will contain actionable steps to get you closer to becoming a dangerous woman. I start off explaining the four levels of women and how to get to the fourth dangerous woman level. I also share a bit about myself. There’s also homework. Let's get started!
