It was a last minute call.
A friend called and informed us about a festival happening to a nearby village.
It did not take long to decide that we would go.
So we silply got ready and went
I spent most of the time exploring the village, until people were asking me “What are you looking for Miss”?

It was a beautiful village, that had a long history. The old church had a sign of “1901” and many houses seemed to be very old.
I walked along the village twice, in both directions and still it felt that i had a lot more to explore

As most of you know I live near the beach ...
I always go there to relax, to think, to unwind, to remember or to forget
I have recently been talking to people about the blockchain and about my experience with Leo, hive etc
Everyone is skeptic and wish to change subject
So I am not trying too hard, I don’t want them to feel any pressure
But a few days ago I had an idea
I thought I would create some promo material and let it do its job ... and what easier than rock painting?
Since it is my first effort I am not sure if it is ok but I ll wait for your feedback
I sketched a little person blown away to the sky from the Leo, hive, bch balloons.
What do you think!?
Will it create some interest if anyone finds it?
I painted with permanent markers so it will stay for ever!

I can’t help being outside many times a day, mostly for walking and taking photographs or videos and also for thinking
I would like to ask your opinion about something
I was thinking of creating a few videos that will contain clips from my landscape views and my voice over will be discussing some blockchain themes, in a (hopefully) easy to digest way.
There will be a script
There will also text with them
And possibly some subtitles
I wish to do it in Greek and English
What are your thoughts? Is it too stupid to show landscapes and discuss blockchain?
I am not so savvy in making videos nor do I wish to show myself.
Any thoughts and feedback would be very welcome

What really surprised me is that after I uploaded it to YouTube they immediately sent a message stating that there has been a limitation into what ages can watch this video and that it is limited. Could you imagine why?

I often visit my city, Heraklion ( @aboutheraklion ) to take pictures and videos so that I can share them to my accounts. A few days ago, I visited the city walls and climbed up the stairs.
I always feel an awe when I visit the city walls. The city walls were built by the Venetians hundred of years ago and they are the largest fortification work in the Mediterranean.1
During the lockdown it was not so easy to visit, so imagine my happiness when after so much time, I came back to see that everything around was green and bright!
Before I started filming, I wanted to take a look around, so I went to see some wild fauna in the area.
I was so surprised to see some pretty amazing insect that I had never seen before..
I went near it to take a closer look and guess what?
A little insect that was trying to come on me!
Of course I was not afraid, but I did not want to touch it before learning more about what it was.
What is this? It is called Lixus Pulverulentus (elongated bean weevil)2
How I discovered its scientific name? I am a member in a Greek Facebook group where people can ask information about flora & fauna of their area. But if I received no reply, I would try reverse image in the internet, I am sure I would eventually discover what it was.
How does it look like? It actually is cute to look at! A bright yellow color catches your attention, it has 6 legs, the 2 front are longer and they are used to move around. It has a long (elephant like trunk)
(Of course we always check by the name to make sure that our species' images correspond to the species we have found)
About Lixus Pulverulentus 3
It is approximately 11 to 16 mm long and it is phytophagous (this means that it feeds on other plants). This species is widespread throughout the Mediterranean basin, From Europe to North Africa and it is also found on the Atlantic coasts of Morocco, the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary Islands.
We are also reading that it is considered a pest, known to induce many damages on plants especially to fava bean. 4
Behaviour This is my personal opinion, based only on this encounter. However I admit that this beetle did not seem to be afraid - at all.. As a matter of fact, it was trying to grasp to me! (I would allow it if I knew that it was not dangerous)
Notes It has been difficult to find information about this species. I hope that at least it enlightens you and that we know what we are looking at next time we meet this :)

Oh my, what a looong Saturday it was! Long, a bit exhausting (woke up at 6 in the morning) - but very rewarding in information received, insights and some new friends!
Tipping and giving BEER tokens :) I am not sure if it was possible the day before, but I found out that there were some cool things to do when you clicked on someone's badge!
You could follow/chat/tip/send BEER tokens ..
I tried it with Khal @khaleelkazi and with many other friends attending but I am not sure how to see it in the blockchain :) Anyone knows?
About the presentations .. they were simply amazing! @roelandp Is a great host keeping us entertained (nice voice btw) and always helping out the presenters. Excellently organized, thank you for everything!
@jacobgadikian About Blurt - discussing about this new fork that rolled out last July! There many things about BLURT that hold me (at least 2-3 times a week) active in this platform. Lots to be done, but I see a community who cares.

Good things cannot be stopped. Thanks to the Team who organized the whole thing, proving that there is always a way when there is a will and a plan.
Great Fest, I wish I was better prepared - would have taken the opportunity to meet more people.
I would kick out my family from my house
I would take VR equipment - or rent it
I would have read in advance about some of the projects - to have more questions
I would not wake up so early in the morning to feel sleepy early at night
But it's ok! I would not change it for anything!

Hi everyone, how did your weekend start?
I still carry yesterday's excitement, it was the first time I could attend a HiveFest and I don't care if it was VR - I was among people who do a lot for Hive, who I respect and admire - I got to watch live presentations and I got to meet hive friends and talk to them!!!
@anggreklestari @priyanarc @steliosfan @yann75 @cleanplanet @cryptospa I even got to see that there is a real person behind @hivebuzz (the bot that always reminds us of achievements and dates to celebrate)

I have to say that everything was planned very carefully and smoothly, @roelandp makes an excellent host and is always keeping us entertained until the next speaker comes to stage!
Unfortunately I used my tiny laptop so it took me about 3-4 hours to understand how to move properly, where to go, how to interact with other people + i had some mic problems. All these don't change the fact I really enjoyed it!

There you will find a teleport station where you can go

At the end of the room, you will find another teleport spot where you can go .. * to the PhotoBooth to take a selfie reminding you of these fun days! (What an amazing place is this .. Sometimes even though there is a thoughts-war in your head, it is difficult to have a specific outcome.
Sometimes it takes a bigger effort to clean up your head, to tell the voices to shut up and start over.
I again have a lot of things I want to do, Christmas is coming, the new year is just around the corner and I just need to set things straight
Going out in the nature helps me a lot. On the day that the video was shot, I was lost in my thoughts as I was on my car going to the market ... when I just stopped the car and was staring at these birds who were so close to us!
The few people who were there, had taken their cells and filmed the birds. So did I.
I immediately thought that this video should be added in hive!

Hi everyone
It’s Friday, a stressful one for me. Tomorrow I have my final exams for my Course “Blockchain Economy” and today I planned to study. A lot.
But instead of that, everybody had different plans
Some people wanted again to clean the mud that is still out of the house
I also had to shop, cook, clean
And there in between
I should study all the presentations one more time
But at some point I did a short break and I noticed that on this beautiful flower, some little baby snails had woken up feeling hungry
I stayed at least 5 minutes to take some shots and videos
Guess what, it made my day and gave me some extra energy

What a natural disaster can do to a place is unbelievable. To us, there have been disasters, houses and roads destroyed but I admit that some points have a certain charm.
The sea has left some extra dry spots and it felt intimidating to be standing at places where there were deep waters just a few days ago.
This video was shot 2 days after the big flood and is the first time I publish it.
With this video I would like to ask something!
Do you know that there is a hivestockimages ... what about creating a video stock images community? I know there is a lot of requests for them, let me know what you think! Is it doable? Is it something that we could build upon? I know that there are some amazing content creators on board!

I thought I would stop discussing about the flood but how can I? My days are still filled with it. Today most of my day I was trying to find which of my (covered in mud) books could survive, which I would try to dry and what was luckily not so much affected... Amidst the book and the photo memories, I was lucky to find some of my old sketches back in 2005 ...
My style has not changed but ... I stopped doing this activity that I very much loved
Maybe these finding can serve as a motivation/reminder?
Time will tell!
