hey guys!

I hope you're enjoying summer and maybe enjoying some holidays!

I've been working a lot since May, but its actually really good! We're having a great season so far.

I am a bit worried how I'm going to cope with work during July and August as they're our busiest month...

But anyway, I know somehow, between muy mom and I, we'll get it done! :D

So on today's video, I'm showing you all the bikinis I bought last month for this summer season :)

All the bikinis are from oysho except for the blue one which is from Zara (same as the green dress).

Hope you enjoy the video and see you on my next vlog!

By the way, you'll make me very happy if you follow our finca page on instagram @cancapdebou or facebook: Agroturismo Can Cap de Bou.

Thank you for your support!

Have a good one :D

Hey guys!

Hope you´re all doing great :)

I´ve just been doing my normal thing the past few weeks, which is working at the finca all day every day :D

On today´s vlog you´ll see the new pets I bought in Sineu´s market (is very popular here in Mallorca, as they sell animals),

so I had the brilliant idea of buying 2 guinea pigs XD

(I am planning on buying 2 rabbits too, but first I need to build a cage... that might be my next vlog ;))

And then you´ll see something I wanted to do for the past 2 years, which is paint the tennis court! It finally happened!! :D

I have to thank Asher for helping me so much the first day, (actually he did almost everything the first day; I was

running up and down all day as we had gas inspection and some issues that needed to be fixed that same day), so it was nice

to see such a huge progress in one day, which motivated me to finish it ASAP.

Without further ado, I hope you enjoy the vlog and see you all next time,

Take care,

Isabel

Hello guys,

On today´s vlog I´m going to show you a bit of DIY project; fixing old sunbeds.

I bought them last year on market place (they were a great deal), but do need a bit of work so they can last another 5-6 years.

As you will see, the end result is not the best, but I am planning on buying sunbed mattesses (whenever I can ind a good offer), so I just need the sunbeds to be stable an strong, which I think they are now :)

At the time I´m writing this, we have already opened the finca, we were super busy for the past 2 weeks (as you can imagine, running a place like this between 2 people is a lot of work), but we did manage to get everything ready on time (except for the last minute incident that happened when the boiler in one of the houses got so heated up that it ended up burning the pipes in the kitchen...so that meant I had to relocate 8 people in 3 other apartments that where not ready... :´)

We did manage to do it all in time, and guests are happy, and so are we.

See you all next time :)

Take care,

Isabel

Hello guys!

Sorry I´ve been MIA the past few days, but I`ve been super busy working almost 24/7 at the Finca.

We are opening 1st May, and There´s still a lot to be done.

Luckily we (when talking about ''we'' I mean my mom and I, as we are the ones running the Finca), but we`ve had the help of my sister Cristina, and is always nice to have extra hands helping around.

As you can see from the video, There is a lot to be done in just 3 weeks, but I'm sure we'll get there,

The swimming pool itself is going to take us another 2 weeks (to fill it up and then another week to clean it), and on top of that I still have to paint the tennis court, deep clean all the houses and clean the surroundings... is a never ending job!

Just as well I love my job and I don`t mind spending 12 hours a day here...but it is a bit exhausting at the beginning.

hope you like the video, and I will try my best to do another vlog for next week. :)

Thanks for watching and see you next time.

Take care,

Isabel

Hello everyone!

Hope you´re doing great :)

I know last time I told you this week's vlog would be a bikini haul, but my parcel (with all my bikini orders) got lost, so unfortunatly, I couldn't make that video this week.

But as you can see from the title, on today's vlog I'm going to be doing the garden, which I still haven't finished, but it is looking much better than before, and I also bought a new tool which I'll be using a lot from now on.

I don't think I explain myself very well on the vlog, when explaining what I want to do with the old bedside tables...

So if you remember from my kitchen reno vlog, there where 2 bedsides tables (that I ended up selling on market place ;)),where I basically left the natural wood colour on top, the draws, changed the door handles to gold ones and painted the rest black.

And that's what I sort of want to do with this ones, but in this case, I would sand the top part, sand the doors, paint the door handles in gold colour, and paint the rest in white. But since the tables are in still such good condition, I'm not sure if I should leave them as they are, or just do another DIY, so it matches with the rest of the furniture better. :D

Let me know what you guys think ;)

Hope you enjoyed the video, and I just realised that I didn´t say goodbye on the vlog... ':) sorry!

But anyway, have a great week and see you next time!

Thanks for watching :)

Hello guys!!

Hope you had a great weekend and that you have a great start to this week :D

I know I said I’ll be uploading on Sunday, but I had some issues with the Wi-Fi at the finca (internet is not very fast when you live in the countryside, surrounded by mountains and the sea) , so I had to wait until I had better signal to upload.

So as you can see from the title, on this Vlog you’re going to see what a normal day looks for me. From waking up to doing little jobs here and there.

I would also have to add that I play basketball, and we train every day except Wednesday’s, but I didn’t film that part as I forgot the camera at home

But you’ll see my day looks sort of normal… maybe not the average 9-5pm, but similar. Although with the benefits no stress, no boss, no schedule (you do things as you go), and working mostly outdoors surrounded by nature and animals

Hope you like the vlog and see you next time with another clothing haul (this time only bikinis and swimsuits); bring on summer!!

Take care,

Isabel

Hello everyone!

Hope you’re all doing great!

I have something different for today’s vlog…a clothing haul :p

Not sure if any of you would be interested in this topic, because I’m basically showing you the bikinis, tops, and trousers I bought on a spree shopping spontaneous trip I did last Monday, and just try them on in front of the camera for you guys.

Of course, I didn’t need to buy any of these items (first because I can’t even close my wardrobe properly from all the clothes I have, and secondly, because I’m trying to be a minimalist… I’m trying, but haven’t succeeded just yet), but I did, and I’m going to keep everything I bought except the green bikini you’ll see on the video, that has a very strange design and doesn’t suit me very well.

So let me know if you like this type of vlogs, and I’ll do them every time I buy a bunch of stuff, (now that summer is coming along, I might just buy bikinis, so I will only do bikini hauls), but I also buy many things from Facebook marketplace to redecorate the finca, so you’ll see a few of those vlogs too.

Hope you have a great week and see you next Sunday!

Take care,

Isabel

Hello everyone!

Hope you’re all doing well.

On today’s Vlog I’m going to show you a kitchen Reno (without any sort of construction), that I’ve been working on for the past 10 days.

I love doing this sort of things at the finca, and whenever I can renovate something, I get my hands on it straight away.

If I knew how to change tiles, place a countertop, install taps, etc. I would definitely change the whole kitchen myself, but since I don’t know how to, and the best I can do is paint and put new door knobs, then that’s what I’ve done with this one.

Is actually not the first kitchen I’ve renovated, I did the same thing for another kitchen in one of the apartments last summer, (half the size of this one), and also a bathroom in one of the houses, and because I liked the end result so much, I decided to try the same on this house.

At first, I was just going to paint everything in white and change the door knobs, so I was expecting it would take me around 3-4 days, but as in every other project, you have new ideas while you’re working on it, or some things don’t go to plan (like the microwave metal shelf; which is why I had to buy those posters, which ended up looking very nice), or having to cut the original door handles and making holes for the new ones, so I ended up working on this kitchen for more days than expected.

I have to say, I’m very happy with the result, and might do another kitchen reno in one of the other houses, as its well over due for a makeover! :p

Hope you have a great week and thanks for watching! ;)

Take care,

Isabel

I’m Isabel, I’m 29, currently living and working in Mallorca, Spain, and living my best life lol.

Before you start wondering where my accent is from, here’s a mini-introduction about myself:

I was born and grew up in Mallorca, Spain, dad Spanish and mom Aussie. My mom always spoke to me in English and my dad in Spanish, but I used to talk in Spanish most of the time, which I regret now because I would probably have a British accent if I hadn’t spoken in Spanish.

I went to Australia for the first time in 2016, after I finished University, in theory just for a gap year, but I loved it so much that ended up staying there until March 2020.

Then, my mom told me to come back to Mallorca because we didn’t know what was going to happen around the world, so I packed most of my stuff and returned home to Mallorca for what I thought was only going to be 6 months.

I really wanted to go back to Sydney in September 2020, but things didn’t go to plan (I think we all know why) and I ended up staying here much longer. So that’s when I started working full time at the finca (professionally known as an agrotourism).

Ever since I was little, I used to help my parents at the finca, either taking the guests horse riding, cleaning the pool, or doing some gardening. Now though, I can say this is my full-time job, and I really enjoy it - No schedule, no boss (well, my mom is my boss but we get along really well), and working for myself :)

The finca has been in my family for 300 years, and they established it as an agrotourism in 1990. As for my parents, this was always a hobby, but now I’m trying to turn it into a proper business. There are many things that need changing, renovating, and generally turning into a more professional outlook.

So, if you’re interested in what is like running an agrotourism, most of my content will be based on this topic. I might do other vlogs that have nothing to do with the finca, like clothing hauls, furniture flipping, and travel vlogs… so let me know if you like them, and I’m very excited to post more content and to get to know you all.

Take care,

Isabel
