  • Rape of males. A CDC study found that, in the US, 1 in 71 men had been raped or suffered an attempt within their lifetime. The same study found that approximately 1 in 21 or 4.8% men in a survey had been made to penetrate someone else, usually an intimate partner or acquaintance.
  • Men die by suicide 3.53x more often than women.
  • 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner. Teenage boys are four times more likely than girls to drop out of school and represent more than 75% of the children referred to special education in the U.S.
