Friday co-writer Patrice Wilson, a co-founder of ARK Music Factory, explained that he "wrote the lyrics on a Thursday night going into a Friday. I was writing different songs all night and was like, 'Wow, I've been up a long time and it's Friday.' And I was like, wow, it is Friday!"*[14][15]*
An ARK Music Factory client told Black's mother about the company's production services in late 2010; Black was 13 at the time, and living in the Anaheim Hillsplanned community in Anaheim, California.[16][17] Black's mother, Georgina Kelly, paid ARK Music $4,000 for a song and accompanying video that included a choice of two pre-written songs "Super Woman" and "Friday". According to Kelly, the payment covered one half or less of the production costs of the music video, and Black's family could have paid nothing in exchange for giving up all rights to the song.[16][18] Black chose "Friday", as "Super Woman" "was about adult loveβI haven't experienced that yet". "I felt like it was my personality in that song".[19][20] ARK Music extensively used the pitch-correcting software Auto-Tune.[21] Although Kelly had some doubts over the quality of the lyrics, Black assured her that "she sang it as they wrote it."[17]

Dr. Warren Chapin is a pathologist who regularly conducts autopsies on executed prisoners at the State prison. He has a theory that fear is the result of a creature that inhabits all of us. His theory is that the creature is suppressed by our ability to scream when fear strikes us. He gets a chance to test his theories when he meets Ollie and Martha Higgins, who own and operate a second-run movie theater. Martha is deaf and mute and if she is unable to scream, extreme fear should make the creature, which Chapin has called the Tingler, come to life and grow. Using LSD to induce nightmares, he begins his experiment.**

Plot:
A global war began in 1940. This war drags out over many decades until most of the people still alive (mostly those born after the war started) do not even know who started it or why. In 1966 a great plague wiped out most of what people were left but small numbers still survived. One day a strange aircraft lands at one of these communities and its pilot tells of an organization that is rebuilding civilization and slowly moving across the world re-civilizing these groups of survivors. Great reconstruction takes place over the next few decades and society is once again great and strong. The world's population is now living in underground cities. Wes and Nick watch and talk about the Crossfire TV commercial from the early 90s and talk about its impact on millennials.Crossfire is a board game created by the Milton Bradley Company in 1971.[1] The object of the game is to score goals by pushing one of the two pucks into the opposing player's goal. This task is accomplished by shooting small metal ball bearings at the pucks using the attached guns. The earliest version of the game featured a flat board, whereas the 90's release board is dome-shaped. This causes the ball bearings to roll into the players' bins more easily but can cause the pucks to indefinitely rest at the edges of the board. The 2010 rerelease changed this to being sloped with a shallow grade, preventing the pucks from sliding on their own as much and making it easier to get them away from the borders.

Plot:
The Park Plaza 2000 Shopping Center is implementing a new nighttime security system developed and monitored by Secure-tronics. While part of that system is fortifying the interior with impenetrable doors timed to be secured from midnight to 6AM, the core of the system is three 101 series Protector robots who are programmed to neutralize any non-authorized personnel until the police arrive. On the first night of this new system, eight (four pairs) of the younger shopping center employees are secretly planning on an after hours party at the home furnishings store in the mall, so chosen for the beds and couches for more intimate pursuits. Set up on a blind date, Ferdy Meisel and Alison Parks are the two somewhat reluctant attendees, mild-mannered Ferdy worried about the state of the store after the fact, it where he works, and proverbial girl next door Alison, who has only worked at the mall for a week, not knowing anyone at the party besides her coworker Suzie Lynn. Their party takes a turn when the robots begin to malfunction and decide that their collective mission is to kill anyone in their way. Making the situation worse for the eight is that they are caught inside the shopping center after midnight meaning they are trapped with the killer and seemingly indestructible robots at least until morning, that is if they survive until then. Complicating matters is that they are surrounded within a mall full of merchandise which may work for or against them.

Plot:
Professors Dexter and Gilmore have successfully reawakened a tramp that had been frozen for four months. This was a preliminary stage for a more ambitious attempt at bringing a prehistoric man back to life. After a lengthy search, the two researchers find a body frozen in a block of the Arctic. Back at the lab, they revive him but he is unable to communicate with them and quite violent. He manages to escape his holding cell and kill a policeman on the street. Dexter decides he must replace part of his brain to make him more compliant and capable of talking. His first choice of a brain donor is the fiance of Gilmore's niece, Anne. This upsets Gilmore so much that he pulls a gun on Dexter, threatening to shoot if he continues. Dexter is so angry that he schemes to use Gilmore's brain instead. Once accomplished, the modified ape man escapes and heads to Gilmore's house.

I'm a man of many hats and MANY interests!
I became obsessed with music and singing when I was five years old and knew I wanted to do something involving entertainment. Being a first-generation American from a working-class, immigrant family, I didn't think that would ever be a reality. It wasn't until I had to choose a major in college that I decided to go all-in and start my path as an actor and entertainer.
Since then, I've worked on multiple network television dramas including ABC legal drama "For Life", and NBC's FBI thriller "Blindspot" as FBI Agent Woods from seasons three through five, as well as commercials for major brands, and worked in dozens of theatrical productions across my home state of Connecticut.
I refuse to give in to the "starving artist" mentality or work as a waiter or bartender to get by (though there is NO shame in that!), so my day job is working as an entertainment journalist, podcast producer, and host of my two podcasts "Multicultural TV Talk" and "Actors With Issues".
Between the two, I've interviewed over 150 rising and established actors from film, TV, and Broadway, discovering their stories, and the lessons they've learned throughout their careers and gotten insight into the entertainment industry from their perspectives.
Having worked across multiple areas of entertainment, I'd love to share my many experiences and stories with you on your podcast. Hope to talk to you soon!

Alvin Cowan is a veteran actor, writer, and producer from Austin, Texas, who has worked with legends like Clint Eastwood, James Caan, Bradley Cooper, and Bruce Willis.
Alvin has a passion for sports, and his football prowess led him to become a record-setting quarterback at Yale, where he was inducted onto the All-Era Team. He then briefly played professional football with both the NFL and AFL.

Alvin is heavily involved behind-the-scenes, currently writing a feature film with producers Eric Tannenbaum and David Beaubaire and pitching a sports/war feature based on the #1 Amazon bestseller, The Cloudbuster Nine. He also is in development as a producer on the TV series βDisposable Heroesβ with Basil Iwanyk/Thunder Road and the TV series βNext Seasonβ with Monami Entertainment.
During the pandemic, Alvin moved into the podcast space, writing and producing the #1 rated documentary podcast, βAmerican Coyote: The Legend of Elden Kidd,β which reached #22 on the overall charts on Apple Podcasts.
