Mountain Human: the podcast for all who love mountains

Our podcast, Mountain Human, connects you to the voices and stories of people, who perhaps like yourself, feel the power and pull of the mountains -- for recreation, for spiritful connection, for ecological understanding, for refuge from the gyrations of a civilization in collapse, for connection of many kinds...We found going to our favorite mountains, and then a whole expanding range of mountain places we didn‘t know, broadened our experience during the last months of 2020. We sought expansion of our feelings and understanding in the mountains of the Western half of North America, during the isolation and confusion over the pandemic, and as we started to talk with people who work, live and play in mountains, the idea of this show was born. The archetype of a ”mountain man” was popular in the last century. We seek a deepening of our connection -- to become ”mountain humans” in the full range of our human diversity -- and we discuss everything: life, sex, ecology, spirit/religion, politics, culture -- as these topics intersect with the mountains that soar above us, and challenge always our sense of what is possible...Join us.. and change your altitude!
