The ark of covenant, the temple of Jerusalem, the brazen serpent, and the cross, are some of the many symbolic tools used in scripture to convey higher spiritual truths of the logos. One of the oldest debates in Christianity is Faith and Works in relation to salvation. It’s a debate that has divided Protestants and the Roman Catholic faith. It’s a debate that further divides worshippers within the same denomination. The Apostle Paul makes it clear to the Ephesians that salvation is of Faith alone.
