In light of "The Slap Heard Around the World", I wanted to talk about a topic that's been an issue for women for ages . . . Alopecia. In addition to this broadcast, I'd like to have more, live, conversations about the issue that bring awareness, and help find solutions for women who are losing their hair, specifically black women.

Hello Dashers! Today's episode is very short. Mr. Bryant and I did a video where we conduct a Q&A to see how well we know each other. That will air on Valentine's Day, February 14th over on our YouTube platform. I want to wish everyone a very happy Valentine's Day and even though my team did not make it to the Super Bowl, I hope your team is the winner!

As "Dashers" we have lived a lot of life. Parts of it may be good, while others may be bad. We have laughed cried, experimented, made mistakes, made some wise choices, and have a lot of knowledge and experience to pass along to younger generations. One way of doing that is writing a memoir. We'll talk about the basics of how to do that on today's broadcast.

As we settle into retirement and as we begin to celebrate our golden years, many of us, grandparents, find ourselves "Raising Our Children's Children." There are several reasons we are called to task, i.e., loss and death, abuse, and abandonment, just to name a few. Whatever the reason is, there is a high percentage of grandparents raising their grandchildren, and oftentimes, many feel alone and don't know where to turn to for help. Today, I discuss this situation, share a little of my own grandparenting situation, and provide a few resources that may help. Find some of those resources below.

Hello, all my fifty plus and fabulous ladies, and guests. Welcome to the pilot episode and intro to my podcast, Other Side of the Dash. This podcast was created for those who are living their best lives or trying to lives on the other side of their dash. As a woman living on the other side of my dash, there are many things I have experienced, love, life, joy, and pain, and learned a few lessons along that way. I want this to be a community where we celebrate the time we have left, grow and live our best lives before we expire on this side of the dash. It is my hope that everyone who listens (or watches if you choose to view on YouTube) walks away more inspired, more informed, and more excited to make their lives, on this side of their dash, the best!

Always feel free to leave a comment and join in on the discussion.
