Knights of Peter Claver
The Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary is an international Catholic fraternal service order. Founded in 1909 by the Josephites and parishioners from Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Mobile, Alabama, it is the largest and oldest Black Catholic lay-led organization still in existence.

Tim Colbert is the Director of the Office of Adolescent Catechesis & Evangelization for the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston.
Mr. Colbert has been working to address and increase awareness of the importance of Catechesis and evangelization in the African and African American Community of the Archdiocese.
In working with the Catholic Youth of African Descent (CYAD) , Mr. Colbert is using his office to bring awareness to those issues that need to be address in the young African and African Americans in our Archdiocese.
Community Conversations is a monthly zoom meeting that discuss issues that are important to the Catholic community of African Descent in the Archdiocese of Galveston - Houston.
