The It’s MY money show is a weekly podcast offering up a fly-on-the-wall opportunity for listeners to eavesdrop on amateur investors Pappa Tony, a sports coach from Belgium, and Dave Labarthe, a financial advisor from Geneva Switzerland, as they discuss their week's trades and outlook for the week ahead. They have a lot of fun, and the show is moderated by experienced business editor, Andrew Mark. The show concept is to help demystify the jargon around investments and offer proof that it is possible, and fun, to manage your own portfolio. They are not trying to sell you anything, and nothing they say should be construed as financial advice or endorsement of any company or stock. Both Pappa Tony and Dave do run successful amateur ‘investors clubs’ in their home towns where they share their knowledge with club members, some in their teens, who are encouraged to learn how to trade in a safe environment before branching out on their own.Listeners are encouraged to leave their investment-related questions in the comments or email them through to the address in the show notes. If time permits these may be discussed and answered in a future show. This show is a great way to understand the complex investment terms bandied about the stock markets.
