We all know how important physical habits are - brushing our teeth, locking the door, setting the alarm.
But did you know that mental habits are just as or if not more important?
In this episode, Minson takes you through 3 habits he just recently adopted that changed his life. These habits help him feel his own anxiety diminish and puts him in a position to successfully communicate with others. If you want to help your child reap the same benefits, you can either try to get them to adopt these same habits or similar ones.
For information on how to help your child implement these habits, please visit our website here.

Meet Elijah, a 17-year-old high school senior who grew up being constantly threatened by bullies that were wanting to beat him up.
In this episode, he talks about how he managed to defuse those tense and heart-stopping moments using just his words.
Despite not having a single day of professional training, he has learned - through experience - to apply Crisis Negotiation Techniques to escape these "life or death" moments and make the bully give up and walk out of the room.
If parents could teach their children how to do this, it would be priceless. Not only would it be useful in situations where someone wants to hurt them, but when some colleague approaches them in the future threatening to sue for something they didn't do, it can save a lot of time and money...
Enjoy.

Many parents struggle in the process of deciding how much independence to give their children.
Giving them too much will result in bad decisions, and giving them too little will result in rebellion.
In this episode, Timothy Cao - an old friend who is probably the wisest person that I've ever met at my age - shares with us his story.
He goes over how a child's independent personality is shaped by the people they spend their time around, their parents, and their style of communication. In addition to that, he also reveals the relationship dynamics of his family and how he managed to develop positive values independently despite having an assertive sibling.

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Tumbler are very common platforms among parents.
They are familiar, easy to use, and have restrictions.
Snapchat is different. It is more secretive, messages can be deleted at any time, and drug dealing and threats are extremely common.
Snapchat is like a wildfire. Messages on there spread almost instantly with the ability to ruin a teenager's life.
In this episode, you will learn about the secrets and culture of this platform.

I've seen my friends attempt to kill themselves in high school.
Why? Because of their parents.
Most parents do not know that demands, punishment, and threats can result in children wanting to hurt themselves. It can result in a child that is always insecure, rarely collaborative, and not prepared for being an adult in a competitive world.
How does this happen?
This episode will reveal to you 3 effects of asserting power on children that my team, my friends, and I have seen/experienced throughout our lives in Generation Z.
However, being aware of these issues is not enough. In order to learn how to deal with them from those who have experienced their effects, you can try to apply for one of our limited Counseling Sessions, or, if you aren't ready to make a commitment, you can read our Free eBook first.

Hello there!
My name is Minson, and I will be your host for the Courtier Channel podcast.
Almost every conversation you are in is a negotiation - each time you want to persuade another person to do something, solve a problem together, or help someone recover from negative emotions, you are in a negotiation.
If you are a parent, you find yourself in negotiations all the time (e.g. asking your kids to focus on school, getting them out of bad habits, getting them to do chores, pursue the future you think is best for them).
Not doing good in these negotiations can cost you hundreds of hours of what would have been relaxation, productivity, and extra money to spend (stress and anxiety from dealing with children can directly translate to work productivity, thus affecting a person's ability to get bonuses, salary raises, and promotions).
On the flip side, doing good in these negotiations will help you elevate your life to the next level. Not only will you spend less time trying to convince your kids to do things, but you will also be able to effectively persuade them, and get them to follow through with it in the future. They will be able to discover how to think for themselves, and they will be prepared for the real world that usually smacks ill-prepared people in the face.
Be a part of their success.
