This podcast is about a blended family with a son that suffered a traumatic brain injury while running on a pool deck. While recovering from the brain injury he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, OCD and ODD. What ensued was a 14 year battle to raise a boy while dealing with educators, doctors, siblings, family and friends. During this time he also attempted suicide three times The millennial will join into conversations regarding his mental state, doctors, medication and addictions. We will also interview friends that have their own bipolar millennial and discuss the issues that they face.
We are not doctors, psychologists or professional therapists but do offer a look into how we have dealt with the emotional rollercoaster ride that is our lives.
