A podcast dedicated to discussing technical issues in welding, including but not limited to welding codes, metallurgy and welding defects. Basically it is a podcast where welding engineers discuss the ins and outs of welding codes.
Episode 24 A focused and somewhat rambling conversation on filler material control. How important it is to keep filler material under control in welding operations in the field and also in the shop.

Clause 6 - Inspection is a very detailed chapter with a lot of material so it has to be broken up into a few episodes. This episode covers Clause 6 Part A General Requirements, Part B Contractor Responsibilities and we start in on Part C Acceptance Criteria. Clause 6 Inspection is a cornerstone of the AWS D1.1 code, and as such it has a lot of material to cover so it will take us a few episodes to cover the material.
