This episode we're joined by Jean Widener, a 3rd grade teacher at BESIC. Mrs. Widener shares with us her passion for education, what it's like to be on a new grade-level team, the reasons she's focusing a little more on social-emotional learning and 21st Century skills this year, and some of her class's writing projects. It was so much fun talking to Jean about how she got into teaching, and listening to her talk about her students, and we hope you enjoy it, too!

In this episode, we talk with Cameron Schneider, 8th grade social studies teacher at Baldwin Junior High. Schneider and his class recently had the chance to talk to some students in Norway who stayed up at school following the election results in the United States. Schneider talks about the experience, the positive power of social media, and the importance of connecting with others.
