This week on S&A Lindsay is joined by Preston Mitchell as accident grab quiche when they wanted pie. cause it's a Double of Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners (2013) & J Lee Thompson's From 10 to Midnight (2013)

This is a Artisan and Carpenter Double. Even though both movies are looking into the depths of human depravity. Villeneuve's work is almost an art class - helped by Wizard Roger Deakins. While Journeyman veteran Thompson is pure lunacy and sleaze at times, but just so well made. It's Cannon and it is why we love it.

And on S&A we reach our final episode in this Brian De Palma Retrospective. And on this episode Lindsay is joined by Cinema Drunkie host Robb Antequera as the really get into film with a truly Masterpiece Double of Frances Ford Coppola's The Conversation (1974) & De Palma's Blow Out (1981). As I said Masterpiece Double.

Both of these movies take the very notion of how to capture a narrative and run with it in multiple different directions. And both are brilliant pieces of cinema in their own right.

Welcome to Schlock & Awe's first Brian De Palma series. De Palma is maybe one of the most Schlock & Awe of Directors. All style, all substance always playing with illusions. So Film Feast Host Matt Bledsloe joins Lindsay for a Double Feature of Curtis Hanson's Bad Influence & De Palma's Body Double. Both Hitchcockian riffs but both movies making them there own special pieces of spectacular sleaze.

On this week's episode you are in for a treat. You don't need to get out of your pajamas; so pour an extra big bowl Count Chocula and get ready, cause it's a Hurtastic Special - a 7am Morning Cartoon Special. This week it's a Double Feature of Disney's Aristocats (1970) & Nickelodeon's Rugrats in Paris: The Movie (2001). So of course Lindsay has the host of Inside the Sequel and Hurtastic Reviews , it's the great Cris Hurtado. This is an episode that celebrates animation in all forms, to the beauty of Paris to what ever is coming out of Phil and Lil. This was a blast of an episode to record with a lot going on, more than you would think from two G rated movies: Especially how horny they are.

On this week's episode; Lindsay's Podcasting brother and host The Year's Best Podcast of the is back for the perfect B Movie Double of The Bees from 1978 and M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening from 2008. It's about to get real, real strange. But through Brent's genuine passion for M. Night Shyamalan and 1970s exploitation you get a new point of view on these movies. This was such a great Double to watch and record. It's one of my favourite types of movies. There is a glorious-ness to the ridiculous.
