Maybe it’s time to redefine and shift the paradigm to a 'redefined 2.0 version of an Alpha-Mom' that’s being, doing, and having on our terms based on the truth of our own true identity!
Many women suffer from the ‘Alpha Mom Syndrome’; constantly giving of themselves (which is good until it gets competitive), being the perfect mom, corporate ladder climber/business builder, soccer mom, PTA volunteer, wife, and dealing with the pressures from society of being a woman that’s fit, feminine and beautiful. 'All' at the cost of being stressed, overwhelmed, and burned out!
With the roles and responsibilities of women—often comes the risk of ignoring or diluting their own health, spirituality, parenting, love-relationships, happiness, and success until these elements are disrupted or eventually destroyed.
The side effects of this destruction are causing an alarming rise in medicinal dependencies, suicides, domestic violence, abuse, divorces, disgruntled employees, anxiety, stress, depression, etc.
Join April and her guest Beth Rosen from Goodness Gracious Living and writer for the Huffington Post to find a better way of being, doing & having it all.

The heart of relationship language will allow you to create better communication and interaction by utilizing not only your strengths but others, and being aware of the weaknesses in all areas of your life; your workplace, personal relationships, parenting, and more.

Your host April encourages you to think outside of the box and to expand your awareness, thought process and perception. Domestic Violence just doesn't start and end with the involved spouse. Speaking from April's experience, her mother was a victim of domestic violence however it caused a ripple/domino effect to the rest of the household, hence the little girl at 9 years old (April) who faced emotional, mental, physical and even sexual abuse.
The other domino effects that come into play are; generational role modeling with the youth, health concerns such as: depression, suicide, eating disorders, self-image, anxiety, loneliness, etc.
Join the discussion in this segment with TED talk speaker Dr. Jackson Katz. He points out that violence and abuse are often called “women’s issues” however they are intrinsically men’s issues — and shows how these violent behaviors are tied to definitions of manhood.
Take a stance and BREAK THE SILENCE & CYCLE of violence and abuse. April will be taking your questions live in the 2nd half of the episode. Got life challenges? Call 888-346-9141
