TheMiMoCast

Two guys talking about all the nerdy stuff from last week, this week. It's basically best week ever but only nerdy stuff and less funny.

After some delays the team is back to talk wrestling and Avengers Phase 3. In the first act we talk about the release of WWE2k15, the WWE Network's November promotion, Survivor Series 2014, and PWG's next event in December. Then in acts two and three we discuss the Marvel Cinematic Universe heavily. With the announcement of phase 3 last week there was much to talk about and we easily could have done 3 shows dedicated to the announcement. We not only talked about what Phase 3 means for the Marvel Cinematic Universe but comic book movies as a whole. It truly is a great time to be a nerd right now.

For our musical breaks we decided to play some GWAR in honor of their amazing show this past Monday in Santa Ana and Against Me to celebrate the 11th year anniversary of "As the Eternal Cowboy". Enjoy the show!

The pivotal episode before the MiMoCast is old enough to drink legally in the United States. We kept the list of talking points small this week in favor of bringing a more in depth discussion. The two major points this week are Gamer Gate and DC's Cinematic Universde announcement. Of course we do get distracted with a brief yet engaging conversation about Back to the Future for a bit. Also, we discover that Armando is in an abusive relationship with the WWE. Can he get out before it's too late? No one is really sure!

This Week the MiMoCast delivers it’s longest episode to date on the cusp of our 20 episode anniversary. After starting the show with a cold open about nipples, both Micheal’s & Schumacher’s, the team wastes no time diving into topics that range from The Princess Bride to wrasslin’. Yes, we talk about wrestling once again. This time Mike talks about a dream he had earlier in the week. Very similar to the plot of Super Mario 2 but with more clotheslines & goombas or as we like to call them, jobbers.

Also part of the discussion is Mike’s rant about how much he hates the new Flash tv show, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s big announcement for Captain America 3, and our fan casting for the new Ghostbusters movie. Music provided by Dan Potthast and the Bricks. Enjoy!

The dynamic duo has returned. After taking a break last week to recover from an exhausting weekend the show is back and ready to kick ass. The gone but not forgotten Chabolla makes his triumphant return, now with 50 percent more snark! This week our short attention spans get the better of us as we deviate from the show notes more often than we should. However, we still hit all our talking points even if we get distracted by wrestling and gay fiction. This week's discussion focuses heavily on the X-Men Cinematic Universe, The Simpsons crossover with Family Guy, The Long Beach Comic Con and all of DC's upcoming television endeavors

The MiMoCast is back after a quick break last week. Rather than force a subpar episode it was decided that not having an episode would be what's best for business. Super Star September continues as my pal all the way from high school, Cisco Calderon, joins me on the co-hosting duties. This episode is rather DC Comics heavy as we talk about the Gotham pilot, Bruce Timm, Arrow, and The Flash. Somehow we ended up not talking about wrestling for once. Oh it's true, it's damn true! We were also able to sneak in some discussion of Gwar and their new vocalist VulvaTron, The Insane Clown Posse, the upcoming Marvel Netflix shows, and TNT.

Music this week comes from The Pietasters and Hepcat. Enjoy!

The MiMoCast celebrates it's Sweet Sixteen this week with a very special guest. Joining Mondo in place of our missing but still beloved Chabolla is The Nuff! The two amateur pongers discuss video games that will be hitting stores within the next year, John Oliver, and the WWE. In fact, the two went into great lengths about some of current reasoning behind the departure of various superstars over the last few months as well as pitching their own reality show featuring Diamond Dallas Page. We may not have never ending pasta passes but we do have never ending banter and it's a lot less than $99 or $9.99!

Music this week is brought to you buy The Bullets and Chris Murray.

A new episode is here. Once again Mondo is riding solo but fret not for he has plans to bring in some friends over the course of the next few weeks to help him co-host the show. Stay tuned for more news on that front as it develops. Normally there would be some type of witty write up detailing the episode but it’s been a rough few days so we’re skipping that this week. Apologies everyone! Everything will be back to normal next week. Promise! Also, sweet jams from Walter Mitty & his Makeshift Orchestra and Sleater-Kinney are included in the episode. Enjoy!

The latest episode of the MiMoCast has arrived! However, it is much later than 30 minutes so your pizza is now free. This week's episode is a bit shorter than usual as Mondo had to handle hosting the show all by his lonesome. He didn't do half bad. In fact, it was all bad! In all honesty it's actually a rather enjoyable half episode of The 'MoCast featuring discussion of wrestling, Ultimate Spider-Man, Pokemon, and donuts. Hopefully things will be back to normal next week. If anything Mondo might have a fill in co-host for the week or something.

Music provided by Drive Like Jehu and Brother Ali.

After taking break last week your heroes have returned. We Apologize for abandoning you briefly but sometimes life has it's own plans and you just have to go with it. We decided to just wing it and record this week's episode without an outline of any kind and didn't do too bad. A nice experiment but definitely not something we want to make a habit out of. We chatted about Robin Williams, wrasslin', Shaun of the Dead, Star Wars Episode 7, and how handsome Mondo is. Of course we get way too distracted because we have the attention span of kittens in front of a laser pointer but it's part of why you like us. At least that's what we tell ourselves while we lie awake at night way past our bedtimes when we can't sleep. Now without further ado enjoy the episode and thanks for your continued support!

Music this week is provided by Wugazi and The Phenomenauts.

The MiMoCast has not died! At least not yet anyway. However, your dynamic duo have been busy with life being a bit more chaotic than usual. An episode was recorded last week but didn’t get edited until this week unfortunately. To make matters worse it seems like your favorite dum dums just don’t have time to record a brand new episode this week. So instead enjoy this episode dedicated to a convention that happened over a week ago that was recorded last Monday. We apologize for this minor set back but we’ll be back next week with a fresh episode reviewing Guardians of the Galaxy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Reboot. Somehow this episode isn’t too stale and we actually brought our A game banter to the mic so it will not disappoint. Not to mention we’ve got tracks by Onsind AND You Blew It. Really, what are you waiting for? Check it out already! Put down that sandwich, turn off your record player, just drop it all and listen to a couple of dorks for an hour!
