Founded in 2021 by Eric Huang & Aryann Gupta, Fireside Chats is a podcast that aims to introduce new ideas and concepts from experts in their fields to everyone, so that we all are more informed and aware of all the rapid development and change happening around us.
We talked to Ken Welby who currently works at Brewin Dolphin. He walked us through his career which has taken him through many jobs at different banks. We also got to talk about his specific niche, convertible bonds. He shares good advice for those aspiring to be in the investment banking industry.
We were super excited to have Ryan Matta on the podcast to discuss his views on Kadena and other blockchains like Solana and Avalanche. Ryan explains us how he found Kadena so early and why he thinks Kadena as a network will keep growing. We go down some tangents including discussing the intricacies of different consensus mechanisms and NFT protocols.
