Decided to switch it up a bit and cover something different than the usual style of music I like to jam to, and went with this classic alt metal track from Deftones. Definitely out of my comfort zone in terms of recording and trying to match sound with all the effects they use, but, it was pretty fun albeit not perfect.

Fun fact of the day, if you try to upload a Chiodos guitar cover to Youtube, it gets blocked worldwide by their archaic, dilapidated fucking system. Apparently it wouldn't matter if I changed from playing over the original track to a backing track either. So, fuck Youtube. Thankfully there's 3speak, so there's at least one place I can host it. I finally decided to not be a crusty virgin and actually did a full cover of a track for one of these riffs of the week, Omerta by Lamb of God. The very first LOG song that I ever heard back when I was a teen. The second guitar in some parts is just an improv I came up with, to give it more of my style which is basically metalcore to the bones.
