Courtney Lang, JD is a strategic communications and health justice expert whose primary focus is advocacy, activism, and grassroots mobilization. She is the principal and founder of Langco + Partners, a public affairs firm recognized for mobilizing constituencies to achieve impactful business goals aligned with equity in healthcare and public policy.

Courtney consults with organizations on access, affordability, structural racism, and the importance of systemic change. As an accomplished change agent, she is a demonstrated leader during a crisis or transition, a national champion who promotes the fundamental right to health.

Before founding Langco + Partners, Courtney served as senior director of federal alliance development for Pfizer Inc. (and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals). Additionally, she held corporate affairs roles with Eli Lilly & Company, supporting the c-suite on elevating minority health as a strategic vertical for advocacy and having the distinct honor of serving as the company’s first U.S. public affairs liaison.

Courtney serves on the board of directors for Trinity Health and Mental Health America, where she chairs the ad hoc committee on anti-racism, equity, and social justice. Previously Courtney served her alma mater, Pepperdine University, as a board member of the Alumni Association and an adjunct professor of media law and leadership communications.

Courtney earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Pepperdine University, her juris doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and studied comparative health law and policy at St. Anne’s College, Oxford University.
