Do you believe that if you heal your body, you can heal your life? My guest on this episode of What has changed your life, Beth Manning believes that this is possible. She believes that you need to explore your feelings and how things manifest in the body. Beth is here to dispel the myths about our feelings, especially those of us in Gen X.

Losing her dad at a young age taught Beth firsthand how repressing emotions for years can cause pain in the body. As a teenager, it also led her to her first craniosacral therapist, who explained the role emotions play in the physical body and was the first person who helped Beth see that her chronic headaches wouldn’t magically disappear with a bottle of pills or surgery.

Getting laid off from her stable corporate job forced Beth to realize that she needed to change careers and only then did she enroll in massage school.

Later Beth began to understand that the body is so much more complex than a series of tight muscles and trigger points. As a chronically injured athlete, Beth began to investigate alternative approaches to healing so she could race her bike and lift without pain.

This journey led Beth back to the world of craniosacral therapy, this time as a student. The more immersed Beth became in this work, in this deep listening to the inner wisdom of the body, the more her gifts as an empath and energy worker opened up. Beth began to experience how working with energy caused rapid and more permanent healing in myself and my clients.

Beth is the sum of all these experiences. They’ve shaped her into who she is today and have made it possible for her to guide her clients at a much deeper level. Let's talk about how when we heal our emotions, we heal our lives!

From a small town girl from Jasper, Alberta, Canada, growing up climbing the hills/trees, biking for miles and playing kick the can. There were the typical timeline events which all came to a crashing halt in 2000, when my guest, Sandra Pelley dislocated her pelvis on both sides. This began 16 years of injuries, ending with a minor break in the pelvis, a broken collar bone and a frozen shoulder all in 2016. This period of her life was one of those "Dark nights of the soul" you may have heard about. Sandra struggled with feeling that she was not being heard, by the medical profession, that she was unworthy as a wife and mother and she was physically incapable of doing most day to day activities. There were moments of suicidal thoughts. And the PAIN... the physical pain. Sandra had bottles of pain killer pills everywhere!!!

Sandra decided to reach out to holistic methods and began a journey of self-love.

Sandra is a life coach and author! Let's welcome Sandra on this episode of What has changed your life?

Corbie is someone who has gone through three bouts of breast cancer, two divorces, dysfunction, poverty, abuse.  But the key is what do you do with it and how do you teach with it?

She calls herself a three-time breast “cancer dancer.”  What’s that mean?  Corbie didn’t fight cancer, because what you fight fights back.  Nor does she call herself a “survivor,” because she doesn’t just hang on by teeth and toenails.  A cancer dancer finds out how graceful they can be under pressure…avoids getting their toes stepped on…and can usually get off the dance floor in one piece.  That’s how Corbie lives.  That’s how she got through a lot.  And it’s why she tells everyone “I’m not special.  YOU CAN DO WHAT I DO.”  Corbie wrote this in her CLEAN OUT YOUR LIFECLOSET, and she is our guest on this episode of What has changed your life!
