We want to give a voice to things that you think but may never say or even things that are just not talked about.... mental health in the black community anyone? While many are affected by suicide, unfortunately it is not a topic of conversations in a real way. Some people struggle with the idea of suicide, some hold their religious views tightly on the subject and others choose to not address it at all. With this episode we hope to start the conversation for those that have never had it and tackle how this subject impacts the African American community. We previously talked about the 90 day rule with a male journalist who provided insight that he did not believe in it. I wanted to get the perspective of a woman as well. Also, I did some research to find some studies that proved (or disproved) the effectiveness of waiting and will also share the general feedback that I received by taking a few polls.
