I was inspired by radio growing up. I went to school for radio and worked in radio for the early and late parts of my career. But radio has changed....and I don't think for the better. Living in New Brunswick I just don't get the local flavour I want anymore.

Will you join the Exceptional Life R-Evolution?
What will you say when you look back on your life? Will you think, “I lived an exceptional life?” Or do you find yourself struggling to have exceptional work and life experiences?
Who doesn’t want to live an exceptional life, filled with exceptional work and life experiences? As she writes, "I know I want to be like my 90-year-old grandma who told me, with a smile and tears in her eyes, “I truly feel I lived an exceptional life.” My life’s purpose is to help people live their best life— an exceptional life—and this book is meant to help more people!"
After reading this book, you will know how to create these exceptional work and life experiences so you can one day echo my grandma’s words. To do so, we must first understand why evolving our performance is needed to reach our peak performance and climb our personal performance mountain. Next, we need to apply the lessons learned from our experiences, especially during challenging times like those we faced in 2020. Then, we will follow the guide for reaching our peak performance using the four keys: expectations, feedback, development, and accountability. Finally, we will apply these keys to the roles we serve in our workplaces, homes, and communities.
Everyone can live an exceptional life, and the resources in this book will provide you the guidance necessary to do so successfully. As we learn, grow, and evolve our performance, sharing the success of our experiences along the way, we will ignite the Exceptional Life R-Evolution!

Sean Tyler Foley (or STF as he's affectionately known) loves helping people find their voice so they can get their message out to the world. It is the focus of his book, "The Power to Speak Naked", and it’s what truly makes him feel alive. As a performer, speaker, and a general seeker of attention, he knows how hard it can be to get in front of an audience. Facilitating that, even in the smallest way for others, is what he was put on this earth to do.
STF is a husband, father, son, and performer, in that order. Some days he feels like he has dabbled in every industry on the planet, from oil and gas, to aviation, to film and television, but that diverse experience is what has made him so versatile!
Regardless of the industry or the titles he has held, what they all had in common was promoting and encouraging people to be heard and understood. The skills and resources he has garnered along the way have enabled him to become an entertaining professional speaker and a knowledgeable trainer, who aspires others to reach for their dreams.

Today on The Next Phase Podcast, Brent Giroux, Owner of the REST Centre in Whitby.
Like many people who try floating for the first time, he was desperate to find relief to the chronic pain he had been living with following a serious motor bike collision in 1987 that left him in a coma for two weeks and paralyzed for two months after he awoke.
He had been an athlete and was ranked in basketball but following the accident, every step he took was painful. He says while he may have appeared fine on the outside but like many other people living with the debilitating effects of a head injury, he had difficulty concentrating and thinking. Going to places like a shopping mall or gatherings with high stimuli was so draining, he began to withdraw from society.
He was working for a psychiatrist as a behaviour therapist for people with head injuries when he first heard about floating. He wanted a non-addictive way to manage pain and decided to give it a try.
He shares his inspiring story with me today.

A third generation Whitby resident and 24 year Whitby Chamber of Commerce member, Brian grew up working at "Pallock Orchards'' the family's farm, but also had the usual part time jobs at Canadian Tire, General Motors and the Whitby Parks department. Attending Durham College he earned a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and certificate in Adult Training, subsequently working in process engineering for Shawflex Wire and Cable. During this time Brian also became a certified scuba diver, motivated by a love of the water and the explorer Jacques Cousteau.
The 1990's spawned a serious recession in Ontario and he found himself back in farming, expanding the farm market and crop production in both their Whitby and Courtice farms. During this time he also had the greatest success of his life, marrying his wife Tanya and starting a family. Then in 1996 Brian took his passion for scuba diving and became a scuba instructor, while also opening Dive Source in part of the farm market at Rossland and Brock, before expanding and moving to its present location in Oshawa.
Dive Source is now in its 25th year of operation teaching scuba diving, selling and servicing scuba equipment and offering adventure dive travel locally and abroad. This experience base and passion to learn, grow and adapt to change has made Brian a respected business person in Durham, who strongly believes "You never stop learning " and that Whitby is a very special place to live, work and raise a family.

John Lee is creator of https://custommobile.app/
Why do you need or want an app for your Podcast?
According to John, your mobile app is your own direct channel to your listeners (just like your website, email lists, and patrons are) not just for distributing content, but for engaging and monetizing your audience.
3rd party apps like Spotify only distribute your content, allowing no opportunity to nurture and convert listeners into engaged fans, patrons, and customers.
Your content should be distributed far and wide through as many 3rd party channels as possible, but it’s your own proprietary channels that act as “nets” in which your listeners can land and convert to financial supporters – enabling you to build a financially sustainable business.
