Have you ever met a stranger at a park or on the bus who gave your insight to your situation that helped you to change your mind about the way your were thinking? Recently I met a woman who interrupted my current thought process by sitting down with me to have a chat. OUr converstaion uplifted me and reminded me to take things in day by day. I had been trying to rush the process and feeling frustrated with some areas and she encouraged me. Today's episode shares the experience of how I felt when she sat down with me. What could have been seen as an interruption actually changed the trajectory of what I was doing.

There is so much victory in your transparency. People have to be able to see you and who you are and the word that God is doing inside of you. I don't want you to take my word for it alone. I want you to really take a look at the stories that influence you today. The people in the bible for one are filled with people who lived their lives plainly in front of us to see and yet they are the same stories that we reference today. I want you to think about that. The same stories we listen to were once lived out and written centuries ago.

I can't tell you how many times I have stepped out on faith and have been able to witness God literally go ahead of me and prepare a way for me. The testimony I felt led to share with you on today's episode was when I went on a road trip recently and I had not booked a place to stay. I already know some may see it as a lack of planning and preparation. In my case, it was a move of God. He was showing me that I could trust Hi to lead me to my destination and provide safety along the way. Following His nudges and not getting in the way have allowed me to bear witness to the limitless ways in which God shows up just to let me know that He is still God. Remain focused and steadfast in your business and in your relationship with God. This month's message has continued to be about remaining focused and not allowing distractions to get you off course. This month I have had a lot of different people try to come and interrupt me in the process. As they tried, God remained faithful to remind me about staying focused and staying on track. stay focused. He did not want me to lose my cool over the things that were taking place in front of me. Are you wearing the right armor? The armor that you need need to go up against that next challenge (Goliath) has already been battle tested. Just like with David. He knew the skills he had been given by God and saw God deliver him out of trouble. When he tried to put on Saul's armor he also knew it wasn't a good fit and that he couldn't take it into battle with him. The same is with you. Sometimes people or external influences can cause you to feel like something is missing or that you need something else. The truth is, if God is already telling you that I have given you what you need, then you have to trust that there is grace on you to do it and to be where He is calling you. Seek progress and not perfection. Allow God to mature in the areas that you need maturation in for the version of you that is coming forth. As God removes you from some places, you will have to let go of the ways in which you are used to doing things so that you can see how God wants it to be accomplished. When I transitioned from working a 9-5 to being a stay at home mom, there was a lot of shifts that had to happen and a lot of unlearning that I had to do. In the process, I had to learn not to get so frustrated at myself or the process and understand that there was purpose in everything that was taking place at the time. Picking up your dream can cause you to feel a bit nervous and maybe even overwhelmed. It can possibly make you question if this is the right choice. For starters, take those feelings back to God in prayer. Secondly, trust that if God has given this to you He will be able to cause it to come forward for you. Jumping into something new can cause you to have some reservations, but it's remembering to put your faith and trust in God. I encourage you to read Hebrews 11. The story that was highlighted to me was Abraham and Sara giving birth after the age of conception and how Abraham didn't doubt the promise that God gave him despite how it looked. The same rule applies for the pivots you may be getting ready to make in your life. Listen in now.

Match your faith to the vision that God has given you. I know sometimes we can look at our natural situation and question how the pieces will come together. I want to encourage you to put your faith to work in what God has given you. Listen-just because it does not look the way you want it to right now, does not mean that it is not coming together to work in your favor.

It is time to write, write, write! Listen I thought that my passion for writing died when I stopped writing over ten years ago. I thought that the words would never come back to me the way they used to. God showed me different. He showed me that the gift of writing never left me. Those gifts were just stored up for me until I was ready to walk in them. I want to encourage you today to not give up on the writing project that God placed inside of you. It doesn't matter if it a book, a play, or even a business plan. Continue to write the vision and make it plain. "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." Habakkuk 2:2 KJV
If you stopped writing because life got in the way. I need you to know that God did not forget about. Repent and get back on track.

While you are transitioning from one place to another or from one thing to the next, you can't allow that gap to cause you to grow lazy. the truth is there is too much work to do. Yes, I know this may be a time where you are taking a breather from one area as you get ready to dive into the next and that's great. Take a break and get the rest you need, but do not get lazy in the process. It's easy to stop doing what you are supposed to do when your routine shifts and changes course. Don your best to stay on track and implement new habits if need be so you can bounce back in your new place with ease.

I had to learn that flexibility was a key ingredient when it came to walking with God. I couldn't allow old habits or routines to get me caught up on something stale when there was something new that God was trying to show me. I had to learn that not only did things on my end have to change, but I had to be willing to not stay stuck in one place. As humans, it's easy to want things to be comfortable because it's familiar. The problem with comfortability is that it can also bring stagnancy if you're not careful. That being said, God doesn't want His children to get or remain stagnant. Instead He wants them to be growing in every area of their lives....

You need your body to be in top shape for the plans that God has for you. That means having an essential diet is needed more than ever. Not only does what you put in your body matter, but you must also be seeking God to determine if what you are eating is actually okay to eat. Over the last few months I have noticed in increase in foods that I was been steered away from eating. Some were at stores, restaurants etc. The crazy part is that some of these places were places I was once able to eat from with no issues. Because of that I encourage you to seek God for understanding on what He wants you to have in this hour. What kind of food is needed for you to be able to be fueled up and what are the foods you should start eliminating? Yes, this is a hard subject for some of you, but the truth is preparation is key. God is all about strategy. Seek His strategy for the plans He has for you so you can continue making yourself a priority.

Before starting my relationship with God, I had to rely upon myself and upon other people. Honestly, it didn't help. The moment I started to invite God into what I was doing, I started to gain more clarity in my business and in my life overall. I had to get humbled to understand that yes I may have plans for my life, but God's plans are far better. I had to learn that yes, I may want things to look a certain way, but His process will sharpen me. I had to learn to invite Him into everything. It's easy to invite God into the great parts that are going well, but what about the areas that need planning. By taking the time to allow God into the planning stages with me i was able to start seeing things from His perspective.

Last year I had the pleasure of taking part in different activities that God led me to. In that I was able to understand who God was calling me to be and what He was calling me to do. He used last year as a chance to help me see how much was truly inside of me. I got to do things, I never thought I could do. For those who have been following me for w while now you know that this podcast started from another. Podcasting was something I was interested in, but didn't know much about. Boundaries are a must! Yes, even those of you who have families or a significant other. You should have boundaries set up for your business. It's not enough to just say, Oh I'll work around their schedule. No. You must actually take the time and have conversations about boundaries. By setting them up in advance, it allows you time to stay focused and it also helps those in your household understand the value of time and productive activities.

Being the mom to three children has caused me to realize that no routine causes the day to pass me by. When I add a routine to the mix, things tend to go a lot smoother and I am able to see me getting a lot more work done for sure. How about you? What does your routine? It's easy to get caught up on the glitz and glam of wealth, but that's not what God wants you to be focused on. He wants you to remain focused on Him and understand that the money is just an add on. This is not a time to get caught up and distracted that you miss out on the bigger picture.

Parents are always telling their kids to either get in the house or go outside, but that playing in the doorway was not an option. The same is true when it comes to God. He tells us that He would rather you be hot or cold than to be lukewarm. He spits out those that are lukewarm. I also have to think back to the reasons why we were always told to get out the doorway. One thing that is always said is that your going to get hurt. Your hand is going to get caught. No matter what they said, you still were sent off with a choice that had to be made. This time of being lukewarm is running out and you will need to make a choice. You are either for God or against God. The choice is yours to make.
