Berlin ,after the fall of the Wall, has become one of the most vibrant places for contemporary artistic production with over 200 contemporary art galleries , 175 museums and collections and an estimated 40,000 independent cultural workers and artists.
Today I m going to introduce you one of these artists that I had the opportunity to get her known during a walk in Berlin(that’s exactly the beauty of this place, you can find art everywhere)
With her I went through the differences between fine art and visual art.
We will talk about her personal vision of art and all phases of an artistic career
From the choice of schools till the experiences in different countries
we will know more about
▪️ the creative process.
Wallas (1926) outlined four stages in it: preparation, incubation, illumination, and elaboration.
▪️Which elements identifies an artist
▪️The importance that a space can give to an artworks.
Space, as one of the classic seven elements of art, can be positive or negative, open or closed, shallow or deep, and two-dimensional or three-dimensional.

Artist Bio
Felicitas Butt (* 05.04.93) studied art and cultural studies in Bremen and Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Her first solo exhibition took place in 2016 at the Paula Becker House in Bremen. This was followed by national and international group exhibitions, for example in the New Bridge Project (UK), Kultursommer Oldenburg (D), Fusion Festival (D) and Garbicz Festival (PL).

About FLOWERS:
In the three-dimensional spatial production FLOWERS the artist Felicitas Butt explores the field of tension between the organic and the artificial. She opens a visual dialogue that testifies to longing and the encounter between man and nature. Dried, pressed and partly artificially re-colored, flowers and plants in transparent acrylic glass even seem to float in space. The enclosed blossom splendor extends through the different levels and develops a new depth. In the delicate reflection of this abstract landscape, Butt explores the search for the original
