The Real A** Necessary Talks Podcast
We know it sounds hard to believe, but the inaugural episodes of this podcast came to fruition inside a state penitentiary. No, seriously, the first six episodes were recorded in an actual prison cell! This story begins with two friends; one of whom decides to take the big leap, quit his job, and move across the country so that he can pursue his dream of being an entrepreneur, and the other, finishing a three year incarceration stint in an Ohio state prison. These two college buddies find themselves with an incredible story and an itch to tell someone about it. This podcast centers on the evolution and growth of its two hosts, while simultaneously focusing on the very real issues that plague this country and its citizens. The true goal is to encourage our listeners to take ownership of their narrative and find freedom. REAL, RAW, and RELEVANT, The R.A.N.T. Podcast will keep you coming back with nothing short of quality discussions and thought provoking conversation.

Cesar and Jono are two of the most positive guys around! But sometimes that inner hater loves to come out and play. In this homage to an old an comedy skit, we focus our attention on the things that piss us all off! Let's talk about it as we embrace the hater from within.
It's not often we meet people whose lives seem to be based more in fiction than reality. But with the arrival of his new cellmate, Jono uncovers more than he bargained for as he learns more about this strange man with the eerie past.
Sometimes people will scold you for welcoming change into your life. These haters range from family members, to friends, to coworkers, etc. The expectation is that you'll always be the same person you were. Frankly, we think that's BS! How can one get better while staying the same? Welcome to another episode of The RANT Podcast as we discuss this classic question: "Yo, why you actin' different?"
Today, the RANT team dissects a phenomenon that many pundits have been harping on since the pandemic started. A phenomenon that is visible, yet it is not quite understood. We are referring to the very real shift in attitude towards employment. Job loyalty, and the way that people view their relationship with employers has changed. What led to this and how deep does this issue go? Are people burned out, unsatisfied, or not valued? Lets talk about it!
In today's episode, we discuss the issue of recidivism. Over 70 percent of people that get released from prison end up re-offending within 5 years of being released. This staggering statistic is worth discussing. Is this the case in other countries or is this problem unique to the United States? Is the goal to rehabilitate these individuals or to ensure that they come back? We take a close look at this problem and use the R.A.N.T. team's lived experience to understand how complex this problem really is.
We've all had those moments when we feel inadequate. When we feel like we don't belong, regardless of the work and preparation that went into it all. Cesar and Jono offer a solution to a problem that has plagued most of us. Join us and enjoy!
