believing you are worthy, means believing you are deserving of good things, believing you are deserving of good period, regardless of past experiences or circumstances

everyone, everyone makes dumb financial decisions, literally everyone, however the outcome of these decisions is heavily influenced by factors such as your socioeconomic class, the state of your mental health, whether or not you’re a student, whether you have immigrant parents, your risk threshold (aka how much risk you are willing to take on, which isn't always a good thing) these all play a role in the outcome. This is why I think it’s so important to just do what feels good to you, because when you tell yourself what you should be doing, you start doings things that weren’t meant for you in the first place, and you compete with people who you never should have tried to compete with in the first place (I only condone healthy competition of course). A lot of the time, we are fed information about what’s rational or logical. We are literally always relying on outside sources such as the internet or books to tell us what the right thing to do is. The problem is, these people who you are learning from, they are not you, they do not know your story. I am not trying to negate the power of learning, what I’m trying to do is emphasize the power of you.

I want to be both extremely humble and extremely confident. If you know me, or have known me in one of my past lives, you probably either see me as quite a confident person, or quite an insecure one, or you might see me as I see me, someone who uses exuberant confidence to cover up for her deep insecurities, lol.

for a long time, I took on a very relaxed philosophy, you should just go with the flow, do what feels good to you and take a very relaxed approach to life.
I’ve recently been really questioning that belief of mine
I think some things in this life are worth fighting for, and sometimes they might require us to do some things that push us outside of our comfort zone, and pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zone allows us to break perspective and see ourselves in a whole new light.

you deserve to be loved for who you are, and your loneliness may just be leading you to a path that allows you to be a truer version of yourself.

you put yourself on the path to luck when you make choices that align with what you truly want. luck is just probability. stop thinking luck is magic or God, luck is you manipulating the cards in your favour. It's making the probability of making shit happen for you higher and higher everyday with your god damn fucking choices. you put yourself on the path to luck, let's break the belief that luck isn't something we all come across every fucking day of our lives.

no well behaved woman ever made history lol
we are far more valuable to our family, our friends and our community, when we learn to let them go first
true honour doesn’t come when we cater to the vanity of people and what they deem as right and wrong
true honour comes when we honour and follow our hearts, regardless of how other people may morally judge us
that is true integrity
in many of our relationships, anything less than codependency is considered a lack of loyalty
in todays episode we dive into the stories of Mulan, Moana and Elsa: 3 Disney “princesses” who had to defy their loved ones in order to do themselves, their community and their loved ones right
Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bloombyrhahavy/message
We tell ourselves that what we truly want makes us a bad person, so we settle for less. We tell ourselves that what we want will make others upset or unhappy, so we don’t go for it in fear of abandonment or fear of abandoning our loves ones. we tell ourselves what we want isn’t worth it unless everybody else thinks it's worth it too.
we are worthy of paving our own way, whether other people think that’s a good idea or not.
your job is to follow your own intuition, not other people's opinions

Trying to cultivate an abundance mindset within a culture that promotes us to consume can be quite difficult, but it's doable, even with just a mustard seed of faith

the concept of surrender is imperative in the construction of a joyful life.
to surrender is to trust that the Universe has our back, and that we must let go and allow ourselves to feel whatever it is asking us to feel.

In today's episode I want to speak about why it is important we combine both compassion and honesty to support and facilitate the growth of both ourselves and others. I'll also be talking about why it can be so hard for us to consider both values when it really comes down to it, and how we can make the process easier for ourselves

the difference between compassion and kindness is perspective. while kindness is an act, i think compassion is how we choose to perceive the situation.

"once you've been hurt, you learn to hate, but if you hurt another, you become hated, and you shoulder a sense of guilt. But it is because one understands such pain, that generosity towards others becomes second nature, that's what makes us human. It's a process called growing up" - words from Jiriyai sensei from Naruto

while Love is an Open Door is usually marketed as this Disney movie's main love song, here's my take as to why Fixer Upper is the true love song in Disney's Frozen. Disney magic can have us idealizing romantic love but I think Fixer Upper really showcases real, true love in a beautiful way.

Everyone's path of joy is a different journey. Your road to your bliss is your own unique path that should be allowed to unfold freely on its own. Your life is yours, and you have the right to live as you choose. As long as you get to tune into your peace, then you are in a place to practice true discernment for yourself and really figure out what not only feels good but what IS good for you.

this is a word that's thrown around everywhere, and personally I am no professional but I believe all of us fall somewhere on the narcissism "scale/spectrum". Today I'm talking about how we can prevent people's narcissistic tendencies from getting to us and how we can prevent ourselves from taking the same actions against others out of hurt/fear/resentment, etc.
None of these youtube channels are replacements for clinical treatment or care. this is all just for educational insight and awareness. However, these three people have been pivotal in my path of healing, so I'm hoping you are able to find value in their channels as well.
Dr. Ramani (Youtube: DoctorRamani) - specializes in narcissistic abuse
Patrick (Youtube: Patrick Teahan LICSW) - Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and childhood trauma specialist
Anna Runkle (Youtube: Crappy Childhood Fairy) - (not a therapist or a doctor but I found her videos to be just as insightful) videos on CPTSD/Childhood PTSD

Welcome to another episode of How the Fuck Do I Even Do This. Today, I'm going to be discussing what I think the difference is between Happiness and Joy, and why I think the term "chasing happiness" isn't as nice as it sounds. I think we can gradually mould ourselves to be people that naturally step into happiness when it comes, and naturally step out of it when it goes without holding onto it for dear life and disappointing ourselves when that little high of happiness is over. I'm hoping by the end of this, you and I will be feeling a lot more appreciative of the present.

so forewarning this first episode might be a little out there for you or maybe even a little corny, but I feel like what I’m sharing in this first episode is really going to help me set the tone for everything I’m going to share in this podcast. The meaning behind this episode is hopefully going to showcase my ultimate end goal whenever or wherever, which is joy. Whether that is joy for myself or joy for others.
