Team Tandem recently hosted a number of activations to coincide with the cinematic release of American Fiction, the BAFTA Award winning film based on the 2001 novel Erasure; by Percival Everett. Directed by Cord Jefferson, American Fiction follows Monk, a frustrated novelist who's fed up with the establishment that profits from Black entertainment and relies on tired and offensive tropes.
