Last week we were in Cavallino in time to watch the brilliant Beach On Fire event that they usually do each year. This is an event where there are fireworks set off all along the beach in Cavallino, Treporti and is a great atmosphere.
There are usually large crowds gathering on the beach at the many locations where they set off the fireworks. It started around 10pm and went on for around 30 minutes.
I managed to capture a few impressions whilst enjoying the show that I will share with you today. These are snaps from my phone and hopefully can give you a good view of the event.
The fireworks were really impressive and to see them being set off in a cascade effect along the 13 miles of beach was brilliant to see. Luckily we had some great clear skies to enjoy them.
These red fireworks were particularly great to see.
The range of fireworks was very varied and produced many great things to watch in the sky.
These were some of my favorite shots.
I don't think the photos do justice to how great the display was, but you can see the different colors vividly.
Normally you don't see too many summer firework displays, so it was great to see this one along the beach here.
The crowds were really enjoying the show from what I could tell.
There were some really great fireworks used and the show ran non-stop for the whole time.
There was a real build-up to the finally which I managed to record and share here too.
These are about half of the photos that I managed to snap. I didn't want to spend too much time with the phone and more to live in the moment and enjoy the show.
Here you can see the fireworks going off much further down the coast. It was really like a ripple effect.
This one is abit blurred, but it was crazy colorful.
It was also quite noisey as well as colorful. I think they were making up for not being able to do the event for a while.
It was so nice to see nearby fireworks and more going off in the distance.
This is one of my favorites, it was so colorful.

Hello Gods Unchained Fans,
This week I have continued to play my Anubian deck and the Wild deck that I started building up last week. However, I started to make some changes to it to add more spells and control as it seems that spells and control seem to be dominating right now.
I try not to have many Genesis cards where possible as they are quite pricey and I look for some alternatives. I do wonder what will happen with the Genesis problem as it seems you must have these cards to be able to do very well.
With my Wild and Anubian deck, it has been a serious struggle in Auric Gold and I coulnd't maintain my placing. With my Wild deck I am still struggling to find the right harmony and am having some lengthy battles as you will see today.
I've bought a few cards for this deck including the awesome Ember Oni and I have been having fun with Ornery Goat and the Arkmonian Hydra.

It still needs lots of work and I have swapped out Moonlight Charm for Aspect of the Pangoin who buffs shield instead of the +2/+2 buff.
The harmony still isn't completly there and I need to decide more how I start and what finish I am looking for, but I hope to get there the more I play.

Today's Battle - Into The WildIn this week's battle I start after around 8 minutes as I pull out Ember Oni.
7 ManaI play Ember Oni and he clears the board and leaves me in a good position. My opponent answers back with the Green Giant.
7.3 ManaI add some shield to Ember Oni and try to shield my god with a frontline. My opponent misses his turn and I should finish here.
7.6 ManaI however foolishly play Shines on them All and it puts my team to sleep! What an error. This brings my opponent back into the game.
7.9 ManaHe immediately destroys Ember Oni who has lost his shield and clears the deck too.
8 ManaI play Charging Oryx who then my oppoent takes out on his turn.
8.3 ManaI get rid of his relic. It is hard to play something as it will get destroyed most likely. My goat is taken out but probably this was not intentional.
8.6 ManaI bring out the Arkmonian Hydra. My opponent plays the Charging Oryx and then goes for the Hydra's head which is a fatal move really as it will respawn double. I am down to 7 health, it is close.
8.9 ManaI keep attacking with my Hydra Heads and they keep respawning, its a wonderful thing to behold.
9 ManaWith a full board, it's all over.
SummaryThe Wild deck is fun to play but even some cheap $2 decks keep you playing for over 20 minutes and it is crazy that I cannot finish them off faster or maybe I am just more used to my aggro decks and style of play.
Weekend Ranked Updatesource
The weekend ranking was not so good for me again as my Wild deck and Anubian deck could not hold their own in Auric Gold. This sent me plummeting back down with too many loses under my belt. I know I shouldn't play Fridays, but I still do and this doesn't usually bode well for Weekend Ranking.
My total wins in the last 30 days has gone up slightly again, but really I would like to stay at least in Auric or Solar Gold now.

Since my last update, I have now reached level 200(+8) and have 57(+5) shadow cards and 382(+16) meteorite cards. My collection value has increased and is worth 2113 (1841) GODS tokens and value in fiat of $351($291). Let's see how the value will hold up.

Hello Gods Unchained Fans,
This week I am still battling with my Amazon deck and have made a few tweaks here and there and managed to get back to Auric Gold. To do that I bought a few more cards to play with, although at the moment only Pixielock is my lineup.
Pixielock spawns a Nimble Pixie each turn which can come in very handy, maybe even more so than Beastfury because Nimble Pixie is an Amazonian.
Warrior of Paradise I needed to badly bring back in for more blitz attack and I have also added Amazon Spearsoul for a bit of extra low mana power. I have him at shadow level so far.
Other cards of interest that I didn't add yet are here. I am not sure why or what I could use Mistress Scythia with and that ability. Normally I want to keep my cards with mana 2 or less. Myrto's Daughter and Wizened Warlock seem the most interesting options and possibly Selena.

Today's Battle - The Battle For Auric Gold This week's battle I show you how this deck is flexing and got me upto Auric Gold. Can it hold Auric Gold though?
1 Mana I go first with Nightleaf warrior as he has hidden ability.
2 Mana Next up, I put as many cards on the board as possible. Nimble Pixie helps here. My opponent uses Godblitz and takes out a Pixie.
3 Mana I bring out Warrior of Paradise who also buffs Sanctum Warrior. My opponent takes out Warrior of Paradise with Godblitz doing 3 extra damage.
4 Mana I bring out Beastfury Protege and the awesome Canopy Sniper. I clear the board. Canopy gets taken out by the powerful Orcish Elite.
5 Mana It is time to use Divya who gives 2 extra damage by Amazons. I remove Orchish Elite too. The blitz attack by my opponent backfires thanks to Divya whoh punishes them back.
5.5 Mana It is almost over. I play a frontline. My opponent doesn't have much to answer and has just 6 Godmana left.
6 Mana I bring out Barksworn Hunter who removes the frontline. Victory is here.
Summary When the cards fall right, there are lots of options in the Amazon deck to use. Getting up to Auric Gold has been easily possible. Once there though, it starts to get tougher as your opponent's have more counters to the early dominance of the Amazons.

My win ratio is looking good but I am already finding that it is not going to stay so high in Auric Gold. I will need to make some changes.

The weekend ranking was not so good for me as I was adjusting the deck and got quite a few spankings before finding my flow. 8 wins from 18 is pretty bad and I hope I can do better this weekend.

Hello Gods Unchained Fans,
This week I have returned back to my Amazon deck and after some battles against @thecyberdexter, I just couldn't beat him. I then decided to go back to the drawing board and see how I could buff up my Amazon deck to make it better.
The first thing I did was to try and make my deck more aggro and to do that, I added Nimble Pixie. Nimble Pixie duplicates herself and costs only 1 mana. Combined with Beastfury Protege, she will then almost fill the board with just 2 cards.
Next up I added in a couple of spells to help deal with some troublesome decks to help clear the board and the Arkmonian is also pretty lethal if you have 3 or more cards on the board. Although quite pricey, at 5 or 6 mana this could help bring you back in the game.
Today's Battle - The New Chaos This week's battle I use the Nimble Pixie and bust some moves with my upgraded Amazon deck.
1 Mana I go first but play nothing. My opponent skips too.
2 Mana Next up, I play Beastfury Protege and Nimble Pixie. It is the perfect start. My opponent comes back with a good defense.
3 Mana I make a mistake, I don't maximise my spawning and should have buffed Beastfury Protege. My mistake costs me dearly, I lose Beastfury Protege.
4 Mana It's time to bring on the Canopy Sniper. The board is full, just how we like it in the Amazon. My opponent clears half the board..
5 Mana Lucky I have the Barksworn Hunter who assists to remove the frontline thanks to Canopy Sniper. My opponent almost clears the board..
5.5 Mana It's time to bring out Delia, The Night Gardener! She starts sprawning Injured Sprouts. My opponent should clear the board, but doesn't.
6 Mana I bring out Agrodor, Border Guard. He will help get the Injured Sprouts spawning.
6.5 Mana I take out the enemy thanks to Canopy Sniper and my opponent's God is almost vanquished. My opponent brings out Inferno and clears the board!!
7 Mana I tread carefully and play just a few cards.
7.3 Mana I get Firewine just in the nick of time. I buff my monsters even more and it's all over.
Summary The added options have brought some new life into my Amazon deck but it still has some weaknesses at higher levels and I need to look for some stronger improvements.

My win ratio is currently 50% which needs some improvement to really succeed. I also need to stop making some mistakes whilst playing.😀

Hello Gods Unchained Fans,
Chaos has been unleashed to lots of fanfare and it is a change of gameplay that we are not used to. It has taken me a little time to get used to it and by only slowly making changes to my decks to best make use of this new game mode.
My initial strategy has been to include lots of spells and order abilities to try and stop the onslaught from my opponents. The idea is to hold them off for as long as possible until my bigger mana guns come out later to finish off the job.
Getting used to having order in a war god deck and including some nether legendaries like Chira takes some getting used to. Initially it sounds very exciting but most of my decks are built to have lots of synergy together and when you mix them up, you lose this synergy.
This means trying to find a new way to win without needing very much synergy. I have seen some players using some interesting combinations which can cause havoc to even seasoned players.
For this deck, I didn't need to buy any new cards but maybe am considering to add another Cenure card that can give me more order possibilities.
Today's Battle - The New Chaos This week's battle I use the new chaos battle with a nice mixture of cards to overpower my enemy.
1 Mana I go first but play nothing. My opponent plays a hidden monster.
2 Mana Next up, my opponent plays Dart Maniac.
3 Mana I use Blight Bomb to take out Dart Maniac. My opponent plays another hidden monster to protect from spells.
4 Mana I try to take it out with Canopy Barrage and continue to use my god power to inflict pain. My opponent plays a frontline.
5 Mana I bring out the Watchful Hound with his order ability. My opponent brings out more frontline and reduces the strength of my Watchful Hound.
5.5 Mana I take out one of the frontlines. My opponent brings out Patience Priestess.
6 Mana I bring out Vampiric Skull. Sadly I don't have anything for him to bring back from my void. I take out the last frontline. This buffs his other cards with health. My opponent takes over my Watchful Hound and brings out more frontline.
6.5 Mana I take out the frontline. I bring out another Vampiric Skull. My opponent adds more cards that get buffed with frontline.
7 Mana I bring out some frontline and order. My frontline transforms my frontline and takes out one of my Vampiric Skulls.
7.3 Mana I get to use the awesome Witherfingers. My opponent doesn't have much to answer with.
7.6 Mana I bring out Void Drake. It's all over.
Summary The new mix of cards can give some really cool and fun combinations, but it is not so easy to win as you might think. You really need to think up some new combinations and find out what works well together and what not. I am really enjoying using order and some nether monsters together, it is nice not to have some restrictions that we normally have.

I have also been playing some light and war decks this week. My Viking deck that I was using has been particularly bad so far and needs some more work.

I know we are all excited and waiting for the upcoming Chaos that is coming!! In the meantime I have been having some fun again with my updated War deck.
After Wolf Recruits was sadly nerfed in the Band of the Wolf balancing, it really threw a spanner in the works of my war deck. I loved buffing my war deck so much with Wolf Recruits that I was searching for a way to get around this nerf and stumbled upon a deck that might have the answer for buffing fans like me.

In comes some additional spells that can help you buff up your war deck to no end! Reinforcements pulls in those low mana cost monsters to your deck. Sound the Charge gives a strength and blitz buff and can give your enemy one heck of a suprise! Might Makes Right gives a powerful buff to all cards in your hand too.
Any one, two or three combos of these spells together with Village Vendor can reap havoc upon your opponent. You just need to hope they are not too aggro at the beginning. Using Retribution if they are a low health monster might buy you a little extra time too.

The costs to update the deck were not too pricey at all. I am not sure where that cat came from though?!
War, Buffing Hell - Today's Battle This week's battle I want to show you how I am using this deck and how it can come together when you get a good draw.
1 Mana I go second. We both skip the first moves.
2 Mana Next up, my control magic opponent uses god damage on me. I skip the turn, waiting to buff up.
3 Mana I unlock a mana lock and buff my hand with Might Makes Right.
4 Mana My opponent plays his first monster with frontline. I play Village Vendor and start buffing!
5 Mana My opponent plays Leyhoard Hatchling which is a popular card with 4 damage. He then starts using spells to do even more damage. Luckily, I have high enough buff to survive so far. I do some more buffing.. and clear the board.
5.5 Mana My opponent does some damage, but not enough.. Retribution almost finishes my opponent but not enough, my oponent is down to 1 health.
6 Mana Unless the board is cleared, its all over.
Summary The new buffs can be very good to help build up some tough attacking cards, but against aggro decks it could be more difficult as you might not get the chance to use 2 or 3 buffs on enough cards. Will it get me to Auric Gold? I will find out this week.

I have also been playing this week with a very aggro Light deck that was in the top 50 decks this week. It takes some getting used to and I ddin't get the win ratio yet, but I will keep trying.

Hello Gods Unchained Fans,
It is an exciting time for Gods Unchained with the release into the Epic Games store. I saw that yesterday it was even one of the trending games. This could give some growth to the game.
After creating my first Viking deck last week, this week I have gone back into the light and revisted my light deck. I am making continual tweaks and improvements and think there is still some work to do, but playing light is a fun deck and you have some good combos that you can play.

Four extra additions that I have bought for my deck are Holy Writ, Chaining of the Gods, Call of the Light and Protective Benediction. I hope these will make my Light deck a little more Aggro, but so far I didn't add these spells in yet. I am still experimenting with them to see how they work and might best fit in.
In my current deck, I tried to remove any cards that didn't have great synergy, even if I really like them, such as The Nemean Lion
Instead I added in some Olympian healers as they can heal and trigger buffs such as from Sern or Parthene. I am still stuck which god power I should use. Healing to heal and trigger buffs, or remove strength from attackers. I usually go for that.

Chaining of the Gods I bought at Shadow level, the price was very close to Meteorite level, so a little more for a better card.
Back Into The Light - Today's Battle This week's battle I want to show you how this deck is working when things work out very well. It is such a pleasure to play light sometimes and you can play many different combos.
1 Mana I start and play Vesper of Concession and Aging Veteran. My opponent takes out the Aging Veteran with order and burn.
2 Mana Next up, I play Chalice Priest to help neutralise any strong opponents that might be played. My opponent plays Aging Veteran.
3 Mana I take out the Aging Veteran. My opponent removes strength from my attack.
4 Mana I clear the board and add frontline. This is then taken out by my opponent.
5 Mana I add some healing to the board. My opponent should clear the board really, but doesn't.
5.5 Mana I clear the board again. My opponent adds frontline and removes one of my healers.
6 Mana I use Light's Levy to remove the front line. Then the attack on my opponent's god goes on. My opponent weakens the attack strength of my line up.
6.5 Mana I give order to the frontline. The god strength of my opponent is 11. My opponent plays a great card Witherfingers that puts most of my deck to sleep and gives burn.
7 Mana I equalise the strength of Witherfingers to 2, which weakens her massively. I then buff my lineup. My opponent takes out a couple of monsters and targets Chalice Priest, putting him to sleep. He then adds a new frontline.
7.5 Mana I put the frontline and Witherfingers in order and it is time to finish this. The god strength of my opponent is just 1. My opponent adds a new frontline.
7.75 Mana Chalice Priest reduces the strength to just 2 of the frontline. I play Asterius who buffs everyone! It's all over now.
Summary The Light deck has many great powers and combos that you can use. Sometimes, it is hard to decide which one you want to focus on. Sometimes I can get itchy fingers to play too many cards at once, instead of holding back a little in case of powerful board clearing spells.

Other than my light deck, I have been playing my Olympian and Viking decks. So far the win ratios have been quite good, but they haven't been able to get me back to Auric Gold.

My weekend ranking was slightly worse than last week after I got 9 wins instead of 10 from 18. I hope for this week's weekend ranking that I will continue to tweak my light deck and try to get me back to at least Auric Gold and get an MJ Rare pack.

Hello Gods Unchained Fans,
After boosting my Zombie deck last week, this week I have decided to create my first Viking deck. After seeing how powerful and fun the Olympians are to play with, I wanted to check out what the Vikings could do. This deck is a work in progress and I am still improving it.

Probably the best Viking card is the Sleigh Master Valka, who has the great Overkill ability, but she is quite expensive. Therefore, I have built a deck so far without her, although I would like to have her for sure.
Instead, I have opted to includ Revered Seer who gives a great buff to all cards, but keeping Revered Seer alive long enough to use more than once is the difficulty.

Most likely you have used some viking cards and they are very Aggro and therefore I have tried to make the deck as Aggro as possible. Get as many monsters out as possible and buff them up for the win. Revered Seer is great for buffing the board and Tamed Mammoth is a good one to try and buff up to deliver the killer punch.
Some things I haven't added for the Vikings are spells to destroy problematic enemies with shield, plus relic removal is not so easy with only one option available.

The most expensive cards that I have bought so far are Leviathan Hunter and Valka's Captain. Although, I did buy them at shadow level. The deck is really missing Sleigh Master Valka though I think.
I am still tinkering with this deck and have one of my first battles. This is with my first variation of the deck battling in Auric Gold, but then things went quickly downhill. After some tweaks, I am building the deck back up and have made some improvements.
I had expected the Vikings to be stronger than they are, but they don't seem to have as much power as some of the other tribes.
Viking Raids - Today's Battle This week's battle I want to show you how far I have got with my Viking deck. This deck is not yet able to compete at Auric Gold yet, but I would like to add mix it up and try and improve it.
1 Mana I start and play Defiant Farmer to give a nice -3 to his god when he dies.
2 Mana Next up, I play a blitz attack to remove the front line.
3 Mana I then buff my defiant farmer to remove the frontline creature. The god mana of my opponent is down to 22.
4 Mana We exchange Valknir Outrider.
5 Mana I bring out the Tamed Mammoth. He gets nicely buffed when you receive damage. My opponent brings out the Ramschackle Hatchet and destroys him, but not without doing his god a world of pain and the health score drops to 16.
5.5 Mana I bring out the Bloodguard and inflict some god damage. My opponent brings out a strong frontline creature.
6 Mana I bring out another Tamed Mammoth before letting the Bloodguard lose. He dies but buffs Tamed Mammoth at the same time. My opponent attacks and destroys Tamed Mammoth leaving just my 1 mana vikings left.
6.5 Mana I then buff those 1 mana vikings ... twice! They attack my opponent's god and reduce is health to just 4... He managed to clear the board, leaving me in a vulnerable position with just 4 health to win!
7 Mana I use my godpower leaving just 2 health to go. I bring out the relic but it isn't useable until the next turn! The writing is anyway on the wall for my opponent unless he has some health from somewhere. He manages to clear the board but with my godpower and relic, he is vulnerable.
7.5 Mana I use my Tavern Brawlers to finish his strong monster before finishing the job with my relic attack.
Summary The Vikings are very aggro with lots of fun combos to play, they do have some vulnerabilities though, especially with those playing spells or being out-aggro-ed with a stronger Olympian deck for example.

Other than my Viking War deck, you can see my main playing with the Zombie Midrange deck has dropped to just 50,8% which is not a great win ratio. I need to make some improvements again there.

My weekend ranking was better than last week after I got 10 wins from 18. Although I was 1 win short of getting the MJ Rare pack. I did make it back to Auric Gold, but after switching to the new Viking deck, have fallen back down to Twilight Shadow. I want to get back to Auric Gold before the weekend.

After riding high with my once powerful Olympian deck, I have had to go back to the drawing board to re-equip some of my decks to be prepared enough against some really tough competition.

First up I have taken a look at my Zombie deck and added Chira, The Spiritspeaker and I am very happy with her powers! Combined with some Perserverance, she can really do some damage to your opponent. I think I need to tweak my deck and add 2 copies of each in there plus maybe insert some low mana monsters to trigger the power and it could become a strong Aggro deck.

So far, with just adding a single copy into the deck, the win ratio is only around 56,3%. So I am thinking to make it more of an Aggro deck that might suit the style of Chira.

To get the cards, I spent nearly $8. Chira being the most expensive, but I did buy the Shadow version and you could get the Meteorite level for a couple of $ cheaper.
Chira with Perserverance - Today's Battle This week's battle I want to show you the power of Chira in eliminating enemies. You need to have a decent amount of health to utilise her, but once on the board, unless your opponent can destroy her, she is very powerful.
1 Mana My opponent plays first with a 3-2 card that I decide to just destroy to stop him getting a foothold in.
2 Mana Next up, my opponent plays a Bladecaster, I decide to destroy it too. I need the board clear for Chira.
3 Mana My opponent has nothing to play, so out come Chira.
4 Mana My opponent plays a strong frontline creature. I bring out Perserverance. It is not enough to destroy it, but enough to trigger Chira.
5 Mana My opponent destroys Chira.. for the time being. I play a Cursed Obelisk.
5.5 Mana My opponent plays a Feral Shapeshifter and tries to weaken the Cursed Obelisk. Thanks to Vampiric Skull, I can bring Chira back from the void. I just need to trigger her now.
6 Mana My opponent brings out some reinforcements. I clear some space on the board.
6.5 Mana My opponent buffs his Feral Shapeshifter and takes out my Vampiric Skull. I play my Decaying Rhino which triggers Chira. My opponents only monster is destroyed at a cost of 5 health. The door is open to victory.
7 Mana Or so I thought, my opponent brings out the Cyclops Defender. What do I do? I make a space on the board and play my Overseer of Vitality that buffs the hell out of my board but then Chira delivers the killer blow. The Decaying Rhino is no more...
Summary Chira and Perseverance seem 2 great cards to add to my Zombie deck, I still need to tweak the deck to make it more Aggro to really take advantage of their abilities.

After creating my first Olympian deck that I shared last week, I have made a couple of tweaks to it after some suggestions from @kstreet. I took out the 2 Beligigerent Insomicacs and replaced them with an extra Village Vendor and Felid Protector.

The results have been nothing short of spectacular. Of course, also I have been learning to play the deck better and you cannot master a deck in just 1 week, but tweaking the strategy with a focus around Village Vendor and Wolf Recruits cards has paid some huge dividends and given me some mighty battles. It has been amazingly fun to play. I started off by testing this deck on the live stream of @thecyberdexter and managed to finally beat his decent light deck.

More impressive however, I have been able to boost the win rate from a meare 50% to a mind-boggling 71,4% and have reached Solar Gold for the first time and have been edging closer to Etheral Diamond league too. Just yesterday I defeated a $1022 Zombie Control Deck.

To get the extra cards meant to spend an extra $6, but it was for sure worth it.
Olympian Deck - Today's Battle This week's battle is one where I start off trying to buff my deck with Wolf Recruits, but don't quite succeed, but there is still enough power in the deck to pull through. The interesting thing about this match is that it is also against an Olympian/Viking Aggro War deck but with maybe some more powerful cards.
1 Mana My opponent plays the Shale Fire Hatchling that will buff any card played, I shouldn't really play any cards, but wait for Wolf Recruits.
2 Mana However, it works out ok as we exchange for a Blitz card with this round. I play Wolf Recruits. I need to get rid of that pesky dragon.
3 Mana I play my Blood Oath cards to try and buff each other. I also play Ashen Child which will buff another card when it dies.
4 Mana This has played into the hands of my enemy as the dragon now has a 6 attack strength. He cannot get rid of my cards but plays a relic and attacks my go for 6! I take the dragon out straight away. Ideally I would like some low-cost blitz attack.. but go for the expensive one, perhaps I should have not played blitz yet, but I need to use the leech too. My Blood Oaths are now vulnerable as I didn't play any frontline.
5 Mana My opponent manages to clear the board. I put a protected monster on the board and use Godblitz.
5.5 Mana My opponent puts up a strong protected front line monster White Fur Guard who I also have. I use Ranger Firstbow to remove the protection and would like to use my twin strike to attack their God and the monster, but with frontline, it's not possible.
6 Mana Things heat up when my opponent plays Sleigh Master Valka a really cool Viking card. I play the Old Wolf and clear his board.
6.5 Mana With his God only having 7 health, things are looking precarious for my opponent. What else does he have in his bag? He foolishly plays the Woodcutter Imp and this takes 3 further health from his God... it's all over!
Summary The deck has some amazing synergies and getting those Wolf Recruits and Village Vendor buffs in early can give you an unstoppable advantage if you can thwart your opponent doing too much damage to you in the meantime.

Here you can see that my Olympian deck is now right up there with my old Zombie Midrange deck with win ratio. The plan is to keep playing this deck for over 100 matches and see how the ratio looks then.

After my recent adventures with my light deck and before that with the Amazonians, this week I have bought a great Olympian deck and put them to action in the Weekend Ranking.
The deck was originally proposed to me by @daje10 who also likes to play the Olympians. The deck is a low-budget one and costs $22,95 at todays prices. I managed to get some ETH onto layer2 once there was a drop in the gas fees so I could finally get my Olympian deck that I wanted, including Reios The Old Wolf at shadow level.

I have been having great fun with this deck and it took a little while to get used to it and understand some of the strengths and weaknesses. Some of the synergies are pretty amazing and I managed to get the win rate up to 50% so far.

Mostly I try to buff my cards with Wolf Recruits if I can and then when I have a few casualties, throw a big Tartessian Talionis on to finish the job when he gets a nice big buff.
Olympian Deck - Today's BattleThis week's battle is one where I am managing to get a good run and combo with my cards to show you what it can do.
1 ManaI start first and cannot play anything. The same for my opponent by the looks of it.
2 ManaI play Wolf Recruits to buff the cards in my hand.
3 ManaI go for the Godblitz initially to get some damage on the board. I am unnerved by my opponent not playing any cards.
4 ManaI play my first cards. Hopefully with protection one might survive the round. My first card is destroyed but buffs another card in my hand, the other is given order.
5 ManaI play a card that can unsleep itself... my opponent puts it to sleep but it comes back although with burn too.
5.5 ManaI can get a decent attack on my opponents god plus buff my hand with Wolf Recruits again. My opponent trys to send my cards to sleep again, but that doesn't work fully with Beligerent Insomniac.
6 ManaI play another Beligerent Insomniac. My opponent fails to clear the board.
6.5 ManaMy buffed Beligerent Insomniac causes a huge 8 damage to my opponent leaving him with just 2 left. It is almost all over, but he then fills the board with some heavy hitters, 2 front line and Serris!
7 ManaLuckily I have a very buffed twin-strike Wolf-Cult Vanguard who can take out the frontlines... both of them! This then leads the path clear for me to finish him.
SummaryThe deck has some great synergies and buffs if the cards fall right. So far some early aggro can sabotage my plans but when it plays right, it is really fun and satisfying.

You can see after 26 games, I have managed to build up a 50% win rate, which was good as it started at around 40% for me as I didn't know what I was doing.
Compared to my Zombie and Nature deck, it is a little under but I hope to increase it with some more play.

After all the fun with my Amazonian deck last week, this week I have finally seen the light and built my ~~first~~ second light deck. The plan was to buy the light deck proposed by @elcholitosanto in his post but with the high gas fees on ETH, I will have to wait for another day to buy it completely or earn enough GODS tokens that I can buy it. Currently, I earn around 1 GOD token per day, so that could take a while.
Inititally I have been using only half the cards proposed from this deck but after a good start, it started losing badly withouth the good harmony of all the cards. I was surprised that the deck held out a good while against a $413 Olympian deck for as long as it did.
In the meantime, I took what cards that I already had from that deck and bought the rest except for the following two:

So far I have been having some epic games with Light and with my final adjustments, I hope that I can start to turn things around ready to battle in the weekend ranking.
My deck is worth 0,0061 ETH ($11,04) so is pretty budget friendly at the moment but I need to get the 2 missing cards so that I can get back to Auric Gold.

I am still fairly new to the light deck so am still finding my feet. I am still not sure what god power is best to play, +2 heal or -1 strength to my opponent. Mostly I am playing -1 strength to incapacitate my opponent.
My current strategy for dealing with enemies is so far a combination of 2 things. Try to build up Empyrean Pacifist, (previously Aging Veteran)and try to buff the weak cards with extra strength and health whilst destroying my opponent with order. Previously, I was trying to use extra shield as a buff to help me attack my enemies but this was not working out so well in the end.
To counter my enemies attack, I am trying to use Chalice Priest to reduce the strength of my opponent and also using order cards like Censure to disable them before destroying them with for example the Divine Judgement cards.
Light Deck - Today's BattleThis week's battle is one where I am still warming up the deck and have made the final tweaks mentioned above and am just missing the 2 cards. I am taking on an Aggro War deck.
1 ManaI start first and play Empyrean Pacifist. I can also buff him straight away thanks to Humble Benefactor.
2 ManaI continue buffing Empyrean Pacifist with Humble and Spiritual Benefactor. I was not sure if I should have used my god power here. My opponent removes all my 1 mana cards.
3 ManaI decided to transform their strongest card and take out another of their 2 strength cards. My opponent focuses on attacking my god.
4 ManaI continue to buff Empyrean Pacifist and use my god power to good effect.
5 ManaI get a good chance to use order and then obliterate a high health front line card played by my opponent.
5.5 ManaThe power of Radiant Dawn can be used with my almost full deck. Empyrean Pacifist is now over 10 health and becomes front line.
6 ManaIt's pretty much over for my opponent as he has no answer and should really look to clear the board.
SummaryI am having some great fun in the light aggro deck, getting those good early cards is really important. I think the 2 cards I am missing are pretty important for the deck but I will continue playing this deck until I can add them.

You can see after 18 games with my 2 light deck variations, my win ratio isn't so amazing yet, but it is also a learning process from my side. Compared to my Death deck, where I have played the most, it has lots to catch up on.
So far I have played Death, Nature and Light decks and enjoy playing all 3. My worst opponent to play against is the Deception because of some of the annoying buffs that they have and it can drive me mad. LOL

Blocklords is an Age of Empires/Settlers type of strategy NFT game that has been released in the beta version. You can now register and play a little for free to get a feel for the game until you get to the requirement for a lumbermill.

After installing the game, you first get to choose where you want to build your kingdom.

Once selected, you can start to build your farm. This seems to be the main focus at the start of the game and reminds me alot of The Settlers but with more realistic graphics.

Many of the tasks and controls are intuitive. Clicking on the Villagers team and getting them to select berries was easy to figure out. They have a health score before they get tired. So I then sent them to rest in the house to recharge.

What was not so intuitive was to click on the shield and claim the Might that increases your Upgrade Status so that you can unlock your level and progress in the game. I asked quickly in discord and could then proceed. The FAQ was also a little sparse on helpful information to get started in the game.

As you progress in the game, you get small challenges and quests popping up for you to make a decision on. Do you turn a blind eye to things or take a hard line. Your decision can have different outcomes.

I quickly established two new teams. One of villagers to help gather stone to complete a new mission. The second team was of builders who built me a new house as you can see above to expand my kingdom. Soon my Might or Upgrade Status was increasing and I could also unlock more buildings including my next task.. a lumbermill. With the lumbermill, I can then build many more things theoretically.

The game has some great graphics and the many levels encourage you to want to progress further. There seems many farming opportunities to unlock but the fighting part is something I would like to check how it is working. The battle graphics show sieges of castles and it reminds me of my Amiga days with Defender of the Crown - less the catchy music.

To play further, I now need to buy myself a hero that can cost anything from $4 upwards. You can apparently buy on Polygon or ImmutableX, although I opt for ImmutableX usually, but you need to first transfer your ETH to the layer 2 and the gas fees can be more than the costs of the NFT!
As I was on a shopping spree with Gods Unchained last week, I need to add more ETH to my wallet, so will buy a Hero NFT and continue playing the game and give you a further update next time.

This week I have decided I need to get serious and get myself back up to Auric Gold. To do this I need to start understanding the different decks better and finding monsters that compliment each other.
Thanks to the help of @daje10 who gave me some tips and suggested an Amazon deck. I have managed to get back into Auric Gold and so far managed to stay there.
First of all I could not get all the required cards so played with what best I could and then used my trusty Zombie Deck on the weekend ranking. Then from Sunday I managed to fully equip my Amazon deck and battle my way back to Auric Gold.
My deck is worth 0,0051 ETH ($9,44) so is pretty budget friendly too.

1 ManaI start first and consider to risk playing Beastfury Protege or my hidden monster that shouldn't get destroyed easily. My opponent plays a spell giving me control of the board.
2 ManaI play the Beastfury Protege who could have been played in the first round. My opponent plays his first card but it doesn't look so strong. Is he luring me into a false sense of security?
3 ManaI play Gersermi and he gives Regen +1 to my board. My Beastfury Protege is attacked and killed. :(
4 ManaI play my Backsworn Hunter who takes out my enemy. My opponent just covers his god with some shield and plays no cards.
5 ManaI bring out Divya who strengthens my attack but he then gets turned into a rat... I really hat that rat card.
6 ManaI should have finished my opponent here, but it matters not as he does'nt have any answer to my attack by now.
SummaryThe Amazon deck may not be the strongest, but it is a fun deck to play with many synergies between cards being activated. I have been caught out a few times if my opponent plays heavy magic or a very strong Light deck with cards that manage to control the board early on. I could beat the nature deck of @thecyberdexter, but his light deck was too powerful, even with me giving him a lot of aggro.

You can see after 16 games, I have a nice win ratio. Let's see how that holds up now in Auric Gold. Before I had my current nature deck, the win ratio wasn't so bad either. I made a few tweaks to my Zombie deck again and it is still 50/50. I need to try and think about how to improve it abit more.

What an amazing ride it has been the last weeks playing Gods Unchained. To say that it has been challenging has been an understatement. I have been riding the wave to touch near Auric Gold but then have been battered back down again with some crazy strong decks.
I have been mostly playing with my Zombie and Nature decks, but also I setup my first Deception deck but it was really tough to get used to playing this so far.
This week though I have been experimenting with the Deadly ability and the powerful Flamecaller. The idea is to trap my opponent with Flamecaller killing all cards as they are played.
In my Zombie deck I have been using Apep's Doomcaller to give Flamecaller the deadly ability.

Once he is killed he passes on deadly to every friendly creature including Flamecaller who then deals 1 damage to each enemy creature at the end of his turn.
In my Deception deck, I am using him too plus there are some more options like:

Adding two Uncanny Rogues into the lineup can increase the chances of being able to activate poison on Flamecaller.
Weekend Rankedsource
I am still struggling in the weekend ranking, I pulled off 11 wins from 18 last weekend and ths was 3 wins short of getting the coveted MJ Rare pack.
Somehow I had 10 pack openings today which was great to see. Here you can view my pack openings. I was happy that I got a few cards that I wanted.

Since my last update, my collection has grown to 820 (717) plain cards and 183 (158) meteorite cards. The value in $GODS tokens is 294 (274). In USD$ this is 66,53. Still quite far off from reach triple digits yet, but we are still in a bear market.
My current level is 91 and I am still playing each day to try and get the 3 wins at least.

Here is my latest acquired cards, I pulled an Uncanny Rogue when I just bought 2 copies recently.. these things happen though. I will pick out a few cards to forget and sell on the market to boost my $GODS token amount. I have been spending them like a drunken sailor on the market but I have my eye on a couple of expensive cards.
The Flamecaller Deadly Trap - Today's BattleAfter last week getting collared in a match where they turned their Flamecaller deadly, I have been trying to optimise my decks to implement this trap. A few times players have seen this danger straight away and try to avoid it. Today I manage to implement the deadly, which trapped my opponent until he got a damage spell to free himself. Unless the monster has armor, usually playing any card would get him obliterated by Flamecaller 😃

Flamecaller is not an expensive card at 0,404 $GODS ($0,08) but can be useful to inflict repeated damage for as long as you can keep him in play.
He costs 5 mana and the deadly card I combine him with costs also 5 mana, so they need to be played one after the other somehow. I usually play Flamecaller first in case Apep's Doomcaller would get destroyed first.

You can see also here that my recent tweaks to my nature deck have not been good and I can't find a win anywhere. I also was not able to win with my Deception deck yet.
Token earnings seem to be lower and it is getting harder to earn those $GODS tokens.

In my last update you have seen that I managed to bounce back to Auric Gold but it has been a constant battle. I have been bouncing between Midnight Shadow + and Auric Gold, depending on the luck of my hand and the strength of my opponents.
I have been buying cards and experimenting with my Nature deck that has become my second deck, although it still does not perform well, it can be fun to play. Some additions that I have recently made are:

Dalia, the Night Gardener. I saw her in action against me and thought she could be a great addition to my deck. If I could get enough heal action going, this would cause her to rain down Injured Sprouts to kick my deck into action. At nearly 6 $GODS tokens, it wasn't cheap.

Next I purchased the Wilfire magic spell that could help me deal some damage to any zombie or nature hoards that start overwhelming me. This was a bit cheaper at early 3 $GODS tokens.
Weekend Rankedsource
After my great 12 wins last week, I managed to pull of just 10 wins from 18 this week. I started with my nature deck and then switched over to my zombie deck after my first win with the nature deck.
Just two wins less meant 2 less packs and no coveated MJ pack. Here you can see my pack opening.
I feel that most people are equipping their decks with defences for the zombie onslaughts and it gets tougher to win once you get to Auric Gold.
My Collection and Earningssource
In my last update, my collection was 151 meteorite cards and 667 plain cards. The value last week was 241 $GODS tokens. This week I have 158 meteorite cards, 717 plain cards and a value of 274 $GODS tokens. I am sure in the next bull run, this collection value in fiat will be worth quite a bit.
I have reached level 74, which is up from 67 last week. Each time you rise up a level, you get a pack to open which is good.

Here you can see some of my recently acquired cards from pack openings and purchases. I also need to look at forging some of my plain cards and looking for some cards to sell to boost my $GODS token holdings. Arch of Amenmose - Today's BattleLast week I decided to purchase the Arch of Amenmose, a cool structure card that gives me some more options with my zombie deck. In today's match I show you him in action and how it is a torment to my opponent.

The Arch of Amenmose is a legendary card and cost around 16 $GODS tokens. It is one of those cards that can be helpful for you to finish a game. Often I have had the board cleared and therefore cannot play End of Times or something similar, so in steps the awesome Arch Of Amenmose.
At a 6 mana cost, it is not a card that you can put early on in the game, but when you can play it, as you will see it is very powerful and provides you with lots of zombie counterattack that helps tip the edge in your favor.

At first, I was thinking that I had made a mistake with this card and that I had to much zombie spawning in my deck. But once you start playing him, it is so much fun that I cannot live without him, similar to my End of Times card.

In my most recent games, I even managed to defeat an expensive midrange death deck. I should have had a full sweep of wins really as I made a few silly errors when not fully concentrating.

You can see how well this deck is performing with each tweek and it has a win-ratio of 59,1% which is nice. Previously, I couldn't win over 50% two weeks ago, so it is a good improvement.
This last week has been pretty good for $GODS tokens earnings. I try to get at least my 3 wins per day, but sometimes it can take a few matches when you are in Auric Gold or near abouts.

StarHeroes is a free-to-play shooter game that is now in alpha. I caught the stream of Bulldog and he was playing this game and told me the alpha was still open, so I decided to give it a go myself. And boy am I glad I did.

After installing the game from here I also cranked up the volume of AC/DC - Shoot to Thrill and then prepared myself for some blasting fun!! Any excuse to turn up ACDC to full volume and then fly around shooting I do as much as I can. My wife was complaining about not being able to hear Chicago PD on the TV, but I couldn't quite make out what she was saying.
It all installed very smoothly and although it seems to take up quite a bit of space, I encountered no problems installing and playing just on my laptop which isn't the best spec. I even sat on my trusty headphones and they are barely holding themself together.

Some info I garnished about the game is that they are focused on providing a good game with gameplay being their main focus before earning. That being said, there will be the possibility to earn the $STAR toke, but this will be a free-to-play game.
What will make it fun though is that it is also play2own as it is important in games to own your own gaming assets and be able to transfer them as you wish. There will be StarHereo NFTs and skins available.

As you can see from the timeline on their webpage, they are behind schedule on their roadmap but it is a great milestone to reach their alpha launch already.
Crypto
The game is going to be launched on Immutable X, which is an Ethereum feeless layer 2 solution. My experience with Immutable X is that it is quite good but the fees moving from layer 1 to 2 are prohibitive and it is a shame they didn't consider using some of the better solutions available like Hive or Wax.

You can see even with my low budget graphic card that the visuals are fantastic. I was struggling against my opponent because I was using a mouse and keyboard but otherwise it was flowing really great.
Most of the players seemed to be based in the US which isn't good for European players lag wise, but I hosted my own game and things ran really fine. The 1 on 1 game that you see here was good fun, but when it moved into 3 vs. 3 it ramped up an extra level of fun.

Some of the tactics I was trying to use in the game was to travel fast in the vast openness of space to not be detected, flying through asteroids to provide me with cover and fast racing duels against each other trying to get the most shots off.

What a difference a week makes. After riding high from my previous 12 wins weekend ranking and crushing some high-value decks, I have fallen back to earth with a bang.

I managed only 5 wins in the weekend ranking, I started with my nature deck but switched to my zombie deck when things were going sour. Even with my zombie deck, things have started going pear shaped.
With the zombie deck, usually I try to get a 1 mana card out that respawns something in the afterlife so that I can then play my zombie spawning relic (Necrosceptor) or Cursed Obelisks.
This then allows me usually to keep spawning zombies and overwhelm my opponent. However, things have been going Pete Tong (wrong) and badly because of the aggro decks.

Here I have been defeated by a $2,56 magic deck!!! Specifically, what has been doing me in are the aggro decks with lots of blitz and some really powerful cards that keep wiping out either the whole board or key cards!

Looking deeper, the 5 mana cards are the ones killing me the most and I am finding it hard to come back from if my cards don't line up so well. Perhaps I need to add some of these into my deck too!?
Crystal rain does 2 damage to each creature.. Flamecaller 1 damage.. and then I drop a powerful card down and it gets turned into a rat!!!

I am not sure how I am going to counter this just yet. Sometimes I can recover with my zombie deck and I am more cautious about having too many cards out, but it is pretty tough with my nature deck to recover from this type of blow. And look at the cost of those cards?? Not even $0,20 in total for ALL 3! Man-o!
It is a similar story against the light god. These three cards have been causing me a few problems when dropped at key moments in the game, I just can't recover from them.
The first Call of Light card summons 3 2/2 Acolytes which seems pretty strong for just a 2 mana card! Trying to regain board control with them there, isn't easy. Next his 3 mana friend Light's Levy is turning my Cursed Obelisks into an Acolyte and disrupting my plans! Not only that, it takes control of it and attacks me, taking out 2 cards at least!
The final card that seems to also cause me some havoc, is the Aggressive Superior. This insane 2 mana card, when empowered to 5, turns a deck of creatures into 5 health and strength!!! This is totally brutal and this card costs just $0,05!!
Where to go from here?
After some deliberation, if you can't beat them, join them! I will start to use them in my decks and see if I can improve my performance!

The value of my cards in $GODS tokens is now 228 and less than last week despite having 22 more meteorite cards. I have been forging as many cards as I can. It would be nice to get some shadow or gold cards forged, but I don't have enough copies yet.
I have reached level 60, so 4 levels higher despite my losses.
Here you can see that I have been acquiring new cards too to try and strengthen my decks. Particulary, I have been buying some Light and Nature cards, but there is still room for improvement I think.
Nature Deck - Today's Battle
Todays match is where I decided to add the awesome Firewine card to my deck.
This card really gives my deck the final push similar to my Over The Top card in the zombie deck. Today you can see how I managed to put it into action. I will try focus my efforts on getting to this card with as much of a full board as I can. Maybe I need to add a second Firewine card to my deck to increase the chances?
As I mentioned, since last week I have made some updates to my nature deck to become more competitive. I was really struggling to get the killer punch in and found myself getting to the higher rounds and not having enough cards to play. I am still thinking to add in the Bladefly card which can spawn 2 more Bladefly cards at a cost of 4 mana.
I am also wondering if I should switch to a more mid-range nature deck instead of an aggro one?
The next card I am thinking to add to resolve my card shortage problem is Grove Summon, a 2 mana card that can add 3 creatures to my hand..
The main thing is that my cards are amazon focused, and I don't want to remove any of these cards because of the great synergy.

Since my latest tweaks, my win ratio is 55,6%, but only over 9 matches. I will save my current deck and then add in these new tweaks and see how it goes for this weekend.

With my current zombie deck, the win ratio has dropped below 50% which shows the extent of my losing streak. Possibly I need to switch back to my old zombie deck that has the higher win ratio. I'm not sure what the best thing to do here is as I like the cards that I have, but it seems the synergy is lost and I should go back to the drawing board.
Even though I am usually bagging 3 wins per day, The amount of won fragments has been dropping and also my amount of won $GODS tokens. I am not so happy to be winning less $GODS tokens and hope I can still keep getting at least 1 per day.

It has been a really eventful week in Gods Unchained for me. First of all, I managed to reach Auric Gold finally. With some fine-tuned tweaks to my Zombie deck, it gave me the needed push to Auric Gold. The cost of the cards was also very cheap and didn't need any big expensive purchases too.

You can see that I started the weekend ranking in Midnight Shadow but ended in Auric Gold after getting 12 ranked wins from 18. This also gave me the awesome MJ Rare pack which I will show you the opening below.
After getting into lots of trouble against some strong nature decks, it was also really great to bring some nature deck opponents to their knees as you can see here.
Pivotal to improving my performance has been to move away from some of the higher rated cards, even though they are fun to play, but instead to focus more on the lower mana cards like Undead Roach and getting that advantage to overwhelm my opponents with a marauding zombie army!

Looking through my previous matches, you can see that I had many not a huge amount of high value decks but there were a few high value ones that slipped in there and you can't help but enjoy beating a high value deck with my lower value one.

The value of my cards in $GODS tokens is now 229 and growing nicely each week. I have been spending my $GODS tokens on building my deck and not waiting to win the cards as I can be an impatient bugger sometimes and it is not just about earning crypto, but also having some fun along the way.
I have also reach level 56 and I think that is quite good progress for the time I have been playing.
My pack opening from the weekend ranked was very good as I had 6 packs to open. Here in this video you can see 5 of the packs that I opened, it somehow froze for the last pack.
Nature and Light Decks
Since the weekend I have been building myself a nature and light deck and you can see in my main video the nature deck in action. My deck is worth just $5 and my opponent has a value of $687 and you can see that I nearly brought him to his knees with just 3 mana to go.
I started well and almost secured victory, but then couldn't finish the job. The deck is based on an amazon set and they seem to combine well together and give each other good buffs. I just need to find some good higher mana cards to help provide some good support as I keep running out of cards.
I initially bought the blazing talisman which gives burn to those who attack my god, but I have found this doesn't fit in so well really, and have now opted for the moonlight charm relic that would give +2/+2 and strengthen my attack.
This was not expensive to buy at around $0,40 and I will experiment with it and check it out. After a little tweak with the new tailsman, I then managed to secure my first victory this week with my nature deck.

Sadly, I didn't record this match, but the tweaks worked very well and I managed to dispose of my opponent who had a $230 deck against my now upgraded $6 deck! One of my favorite cards in this deck is marsh walker who looks like a giant brocolli.

With my light deck, I have managed to get a victory, although the deck does still require some more tweaking as it isn't so strong. The hard thing with playing with new decks, is that you also need to play them and figure what works and doesn't work and this takes up time from your daily ranked matches.
I have however been trying to play at least 1 or 2 games a day using the new god decks that I have created and then finish off with my zombie deck that I am more used to and feel the most comfortable playing.
With my strategy of trying to get 3 wins during the weekdays, and playing more at the weekends for the weekend ranked, I have been bagging at least 1 $GOD token per day. I have noticed that we are now winning less fragments each day and did not notice so far much effect on the $GODS token pool for winning yet though.

I have been playing Gods Unchained now for just over a month and I wanted to give an update on my progress in this great game. Having looked around and tested out a few of the card games, I have found Gods Unchained tricky to get started in, but great fun to play.

You can see that I have been playing with the Zombie deck. Up until 2 weeks ago, I tweaked my deck a little with the Cursed Obelisks which has enabled me to compete at my current ranking of Midnight Shadow, but not enabled me to get fully into Auric Gold. Just as I almost reach Auric Gold, I get a crushing defeat that needs me to start again.
I have also started to build my Light deck but as you can see, the first results are not promising. I have some ideas for my 2nd/3rd deck, so will see what I can put together in the coming weeks.

Last week I managed to get 8 wins from 18 that got me 3 packs earlier in the week. Ideally, I need to get at least 11 wins to get an MJ Rare. So far this weekend, I have started off with 3 wins from 3, but it is still early doors yet.

It was a shame that I didn't record it, butmy last battle was an absolute corker I must say. For the first time in a match, I ran out of cards.. it was crazy and I managed to get my opponent down to just 1 mana. He had cards in his hand and could increase his god health on the next turn. I was COMPLETELY out of cards to play, none in my hand, none on the board, what could I do?

With 15 health myself, the game was surely mine, I just needed to clear 1 mana of his health. Luckily, my god power was Soulburn which would make us both lose 1 health point and I managed to claim a victory, but that was very close.

On closer inspection, it could be seen that my $17 deck beat a $345 deck by the skin of my teeth! With this in mind, it made me sure that it was time to make some further upgrades to my deck that will hopefully carry me through to Auric Gold and beyond.

Looking at my current deck, you can see that it has a 52% win rate and I have clocked up 102 wins with it. I can honestly say that this deck is a lot of fun to play with and is great as a starter deck if you are looking for one.

I bought them using GODS tokens because I have so far won 33 GODS and these cards didn't cost very much. The most expensive was End Times that cost 1.1 GODS (~$0,28). Once my cards were all purchased, I then imported the deck using the code into the actual Gods Unchained game and was ready to play.

I noticed an improvement in my deck straight away with more options opening up to play. The new Corpse Explosion and End Times cards are just so epic.
Today I have recorded a game with me playing the Corpse Explosion card. I played it a little too early, but it was still very effectivie. The first time I played the card, I didn't have any Zombies on the board. LOL.
Now was the second time that I have used the card and I figured out that I should have first attacked with the cards on the board and then done the explosion to get a double-whammy attack and really finish my opponent, but anyway it still worked.
With the new upgrades to my deck, it has given me a couple of more options to finish off some of my more powerful opponents and I am looking forward to putting into action.

Like in many play2earn games, there are many ways to earn in Gods Unchained. I have been playing regularly and stacking the $GODS tokens and have accumulated 33 so far. I also have been winning packs and when I get two copies of a card, I can then "forge" it and either keep it or sell it.
So far, as you can see, I have 523 plain cards earned in the game and my minted cards on-chain are 76. These are worth $34,29 and is, $37,13 if I forge the cards. I did however buy my first zombie and light deck though, so this is also included in the $ value.
I have forged a few cards and listed them for sale to boost my $GODS tokens. Usually two or three cards per week, which will add up over time I think. I will keep an eye on this and see how it works out.

As I mentioned earlier, I have also bought a light deck. It is this one created by Patch. So far I have only played it three times and didn't manage to win yet. I am not used to playing light and need to play around with it a bit more and possibly make some changes.
I am not sure if a War or Nature deck might be more suitable for me, but I will check this one out first and try and see if I can bag my first wins. After some chatting with @cyberdexter on his stream, I think I have a couple of cards that might be worth upgrading, but I will cover that in a future post.

Hello Play2Earn Gamers,
I have almost reached the Auric Gold level in Gods Unchained thanks to a key upgrade to my deck. Let me introduce to you the Cursed Obelisk.
The Cursed Obelisks is a cheap card at only $0,78 at the meteorite level but it can be quite powerful. It has only a 3 mana cost but will produce a zombie each turn, two even if you are frenzied! This is often very handy to overpower your opponents.
The great thing about the Cursed Obelisks card is that it is a backline monster, so is not so easily destroyed. I am often trying to get this card out as soon as possible to start building up my zombie army.
Also, if it gets destroyed, I also have other cards that can bring the card back to life causing more havoc for my opponent!
Since upgrading my deck with this card, it has enabled me to shoot faster up the rankings.

I have her currently at a level 2 gold foil and this is usually good enough for the main purpose which is to cleanse the tank with poison matches.

This is a mid-level mana attack and I have used the new water summoner Possibilus the Wise for the extra health ability.

The last time I wrote about Crypto Shots I was reviewing it here. Since then I have been back and completed more levels but now that the game is released, it is time that I go back and start earning some crypto.
First of all I went to the Crypto Shots market place and opened my first Crypto Shots pack. This is unboxing my Starter Kit NFT :
It was very exciting and I got the following screens show up:
After a few approvals with Keychain, the unboxing was completed.
I know how much of a good feeling I get when I do pack openings, even though I know what was in it and I wasn't dissapointed here either. In my box were 2 Avatars:
I might see if I can sell the woman one, I'm not sure yet.
I also had 3 weapons and some ammo. This should be good for me to get started and play. Once I clicked play, I collected further goodies for free.
I collected my crew meal and space ship and proceeded to battle.
I did the easy level first as I was most familiar with this one. At my current level, I do not lose health so there was nothing to worry about in this respect.
I did need to keep an eye on the clock though so that I completed the mission on time. You need to win the game to earn crypto.
After winning, you can see that I earned some $igBOOM tokens which are tradable on WAX on the Alcor Dex and also in the Hive Engine called $DOOM tokens.
When I was not playing, the game makes a wind-type sound and my wife was asking me if I had left a window open or something. Then she realised it was coming from the computer and got mad. Being the wife of a full-time crypto gamer isn't easy.
I didn't tell her about my plans to become a full-time crypto gamer Digital Nomad in Chang Mai yet, I hope she will take it well. 😉
Once I had won a couple of rounds, I could see that at my current level, I can earn up to 62 igBOOM per day. There seems to be the option to unstake but you would need to burn a % that you have withdrawn. This would then encourage you to stake more and not withdraw.
How much is 62 $igBOOM you might ask?
Well according to the Hive Engine, the ASK price would be 0,787 Hive and the BID price 3,88 Hive. The spread is quite wide so I checked Alcor where the spread is thinner and the BID price gave me 7,248 WAX which is $0,4134 with a quick check on the livecoinwatch website.

I was earning around 1 $igBOOM per round, so that would be approximately 62 rounds that I would need to complete unless I increased the difficulty. The games last around 2 minutes each or less depending on how quick you are.
I noticed quite a few Wax players already on the top 50 players list and hitting the grinding hard. The top boy there has 43651 $igBOOM already!! This is 5103 Wax (~$290).
This game is still fairly new so I think there could be plenty of opportunity to stack some crypto here and the time/effort ratio looks to be acceptable. The main thing is that you need to probably like playing FPS games like me to enjoy it.
I quite like to play music from Panda Beats Music whilst grinding and it makes it more fun. There are many playlists that you can choose from too.

It has been a great few days in Rising Star, I have been doing my missions and added some more fans to bump me up a little.
My current stats are:
I've managed to climb 1 place to level 75 and have got a new total of 468 NFTs, which is over 30 more since my last update.
My player ranking has dropped back to 705 from 563 which is a big fall compared to the last time and I keep doing my best to buy uniques and add fans as much as possible.
