Quick BIO: Just in case…(People always think they know you cause somebody told them something – Sis. Monica, Brother Jenkins told them something they heard – NOBODY really knows you, but GOD – Momma - my, my, my.
Started in radio at a young age. (I remember the radio stations being in house on Bonaventure rd. true story: My god brother and pastor was hosting show on the air every Saturday and I was like announcer for the broadcast. Well I always knew what I wanting even as a kid. It was a radio DJ or Police Officer. Long, long story – short, short (I can’t remember the exact day) I’m good with names, but dates…I met Gloria (don’t wont nobody to be stalking) Manager “The Angel” of station (and took a chance on this little fellow). I also met gospel legend Lester “Leck” White and we’ve been friends ever since. (Between you and I though) I think they were like being nice to me (pacify people) cue up this record and say something. (They were amazed, it was like this gift inside of me waiting to be unwrap. I have plenty more stories like behind scenes, escapades, stuff that went on a these radio stations. I’ve worked at quite a few of them. I was Mello J Michaels on Urban music, I was “Shoutin’ John” on the Gospel, Jammin J. Michaels, Brother J – well you never want to use your legal name - bill collectors and stuff. Have you ever had a “Oh Lawd” Moment? Now, in our family (Oh Lawd) is used quite enough. We’ll discuss that more on our next episode. We will also have a feature called “Is it just ME”
And I will give you the Mellow Hitter Quitter MIXX (that one’s going to be a tricky, but I think I found a way to give my quick music flash back mix.
When the kids were young, they had to have a story before they went to sleep. Well get mom and dad, for a Bed Stories for the grown and sexy. That’s enough, that’s enough, that’s enough.
