The Southern Expectations, How To Rise Above It!

The southern expectation is...... (if you're born and raised here anyways) a Heritage or a way of lifestyle, that's been passed down from generation to generation. for a very long time. Now some of these are great character builders.

(depends on the family)

work hard, or go home.

Family is the foundation of happiness

Community is important.

With that being said, we do have bad aspects of this as well.

Other religious groups besides Christians are frown upon

Women and men are NOT equal. (Most of the time if the male isn't working while the woman tends to the "household" responsibility. Then this couple is most of the time belittled

Speaking of relationships, the gay community is pretty much non-existent in my area due to documented violence and pure hate, they deal with once deciding to be open about their sexual orientation.

Unfortunately, racism is still an issue

There are many other BAD and GOOD things about living, and being raise down here. We don't have to let those expectations Define us. That's what I'm going to talk about here, that's what I'm going to prove to you guys, With this podcast. I was unemployed about a month ago something changed. My perspective.I can do anything I set my mind too. I know anybody else can too. It takes effort and willpower. Mix it with passion for what you do then you will succeed.Maybe I can Inspire some others down here to rise above and do what makes them happy. if so, when it's all said and done. this podcast, will absolutely be very much worth my time!
