I just got out of a wilderness season with God and I am so moved by the love and intimacy we have built. A lot of people hate when God isolates them for a season and they often look at their wilderness season with lots of contempt and negativity. However, there is beauty in the wilderness and I was able to see that beauty and meaningfulness of the wilderness when I was isolated with the Lord for 43 days. Listen to hear more!

Episode 6 with Chanelle Price (Haynes). The 2014 800m Word indoor champion, 3x IAAF world relays 4x800 champion, NACAC 800m world champion, U.S. Olympic trials finalist. The list goes on with the amazing accomplishments this beautiful women has had throughout her career in the sport of Track and Field.

As human beings we often say this is my calling, this is my purpose without actually knowing who placed that calling or purpose in our lives. We often call ourselves to jobs, relationships and places God never ended us to go and therefore we mistake our voice for his.

In this episode I go into what it means to be called versus being chosen from my own understanding of a specific text: Matthew 22:14. As someone that has often placed my own calling and my own purpose on my life instead of the calling God intends for me, I share this so that others can strive to understand what is means to be called as well as be chosen. I share this so that we may all overcome the self insertion of our own will, in the place of God's good and perfect will for our lives.

Questions mentioned:

What does it mean to be called v.s. chosen?

What does the calling look like in our lives ?

Verses Mentioned:

Matthew 22:14

Acts 13:2

Isaiah 54:17
