I talk about Clobber Swap, a swap, buy and sell pre loved fashion group on Facebook. How and why it started just before Covid and what it brings to its members. It began as a small group of 32 women swapping in my local village and now it’s a community of 7000 liked minded fashionistas, of all shapes, ages and sizes who swap, buy and sell across the country. We are growing the group across the UK and spreading the clobberlove. It’s Easter ladies so whilst Clobber Swapping we are stuffing our faces with chocolate and enjoying time with our families. I discuss some thought provoking topics such as manifestation and God - what do you believe? I also discuss my sister Janine it’s her 60th Birthday today (31/3) and she was my saviour as a child, find out why!
I couldn’t have wished for more visiting Montmartre in Paris, it was absolutely fantastic. The culture, the cafes, the bars, and of course the fashion. I was able to take all of my amazing and favourite outfits from my dear Clobber members, and I felt fabulous.

I wasn’t expecting to hear so many clobber members feeling under the weather this week. It reminds me why we have to ask our friends and family members if they’re actually ok? Don’t accept a “fine” answer we know women aren’t fine when they answer using this non descript word. I asked a male friend if he was ok this week and I wasn’t expecting his answer! Q - Do we need more testosterone ladies? Hear the pros and cons for taking this alongside HRT! Lee said I definitely don’t need testosterone as I’ve already got enough!! Lol Cheeky! I actually agree with him. Finally, it’s the season for cardigans and chunky knits, there has been some fab items on Clobber Swap so please don’t forgot to tempt people with your wardrobe; let’s aim to keep the pennies in our purses and “swap”! It’s guilt free shopping that way!
“We love our Winter wardrobes don’t we, we love snuggly jumpers, teddy coats, pleathers, capes and hats. Long boots, maxi dresses and gilets make the perfect Autumn outfit. I also discuss the importance of good skin care when you go through menopause; Vichy serum is supposedly the best. I also discuss fabulous women who decide “enough is enough”. We have some real warriors in our group and we like nothing better than to help get them get through the tough times. I met our latest warrior this week, I was so excited to see her. I talk about our wonderful Queen, and the sadness of losing her as monarch. I also talk about new members being a little too giddy and annoying older members for not reading the rules. Giving prizes away and finding out a members father, lives next door to the house I lived in as a child. I also have a plea for members to help a lady who has started up on her own with nothing but her kids to give her the strength to survive. She has endured a difficult 7 years and has escaped mental abuse and I would love us all to help her.
Aww I’ve Missed you, but needed to prioritise what’s important at home but so pleased I’m back. Omg clobber swap has increased significantly over night by nearly a thousand people, so lots of love and kudos to style Queen Heidi Ondrak and her TokTok fame. What else have I been upto, a bit of wild swimming perhaps… errrrr well let’s see if it was me and let’s live in the moment to help our mental state and bring joy to your life by being positive and lifting others.
I’ve loved talking this week, I chat all things fashion, holiday clobber, the wonderful Ikos resorts Greece and why we got stranded in Kefalos. I also share my six magic beauty tips and why I can’t live without LV lash lifts.
I have loved this weeks clobber cast; it’s been so amazing on clobberswap. There’s so many items of clothing and for me I realise I have too many beach cover ups, so don’t let me buy anymore. Being grateful for my sisters and my mum being so wonderfully glam, present and strong. Packing for Greece and what I will wear and finally how to battle daily challenges be more Moira.
