The week is over and work has progressed on the comic book. Which is worst, poverty or working at a job you despise. Looking forward to advance the work on the comic next week with an extra day off kept through great pains and an ultimatum. I might get interviewed next wednesday and I'll try to follow the news a little more. A note on theh christmas crazies, buy nothing day and a buy nothing christmas.

Friday, I almost quit my job yesterday. A bad day at the day job isn't inspiring for work at home.

Thursday, keeping on track working on the comic. Getting tired of working all the time and looking forward to next week where the work load will be lighter (hopefully).

Enter Festival, the text to speech open source program. In this episode I talk about a nazi rally in Toledo, the EFF having uncoded the printer tracking system, I discuss Linux on my Ipod acting up and juggling too many contracts interfering with the time it takes to work on the comic. Avoice mail system is set up and I offer a badge to the first caller. I end the podcast with a unique interpretation of Beethoven's fifth.

Setting up a structure for the show ahead of time with background music and three songs. Today I read an article on RFID chips and talk about finishing up the 'Watched' illustration and anticipating starting chapter 3.

The microphone head set arrived this week and I have an clip from TWIT where they discuss the latest Big Brother tactics of Google and I include my first podsafe song. I discuss installing Linux on my new ipod mini and the “Watched” illustration of Winston Smith I'm working on.

The show is starting to take shape in structure at least. We're still using a cheap mic but we've got content. In this podcast we take a look at Google as a potential Big Brother threat, we announce the release date for the comic 6 months from not, 'till then we'll cover the whole process in the podcast, we have our first Orwell quote as part of the show and we call for volunteers who wish to collaborate on the website.
