I learned many valuable life lessons in my transformation journey, and my goal is to share my experiences, thoughts, and knowledge through this podcast to help someone going through a similar experience I had in the past to overcome their challenges.

So, if you have been pondering if it is time to give up on something, let us find the answer together in this episode. My eBook "Change Your Mind, Change Your Life": https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097L6LR5J

Did you know that a biographer made up the story about George Washington confessing to cutting down the cherry tree? However, it's easy to believe because of his character.
This story has also been used for generations by parents as an example of taking accountability. When you were a child, you may have learned that it's more honorable to own up to your actions instead of blaming others or making excuses.
Nonetheless, holding ourselves responsible can be scary. Admitting our shortcomings or mistakes may threaten our self-image and open us up to criticism from others. Therefore, many people find it safer to focus on external circumstances rather than looking at themselves.
The truth is that you are most likely missing out on happiness and success by trying to avoid responsibility.
If you desire to regain control of yourself, this episode is for you.

Do you jump out of bed every morning, all fired up with enthusiasm and motivation to conquer your goals? Or are you someone who lays in bed every morning and wondering why on earth you should bother to get up?

Even a kid can answer this question. Imagine the difference between waking up thinking, "It's a brand new day with a fresh start and lots of opportunities," or thinking, "It's another day to clear the shit I have at home and work." Each sunrise brings more problems, more struggles, more trudging, more frustrated attempts to manage our never-ending burdens.

So, today's topic is about beliefs. I kid you not. Your beliefs are probably the key deciding factor of whether you're successful or not. Why? Beliefs drive your attitude and behaviour. If you have a self-limiting belief, you'll most likely develop self-sabotaging attitudes and behaviours that prevent you from getting what you want in life. Henry Ford once quoted, "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't – you're right," which beautifully emphasizes how much our beliefs determine success or failure.
Therefore, the first step to lasting change and self-transformation is to change your belief system. Without it, nothing else you do will help achieve a permanent, positive change in your life. And this episode teaches you exactly what you need to do to eradicate your old, limiting beliefs, and replace them with new, empowering ones that will take your life to the next level.

Today's topic is about Turning Fear into Power.
In today's world, change happens in the blink of an eye; and it has certainly been amplified by the COVID-19 virus, where people all over the world had their lives turned upside down, both in their personal and professional lives.
One of the things I have learned from others and my own development is that things change - whether you like it or not. And yet many people dislike change. If change is inevitable and a prerequisite for personal growth and you hate change, you have a bad recipe that won't bring you a good life!
One of the main reasons people dislike change is that they are afraid of it because change implies that you have to charter into unknown territory, which causes uncertainty and discomfort.
While it's natural to experience fear, think about how your life would change if you move into what you fear instead of away from it. I think it would be pretty amazing - in fact, I know it from personal experience!
This episode teaches you how you can use fear as a fuel to help you get unstuck and take advantage of the opportunities available to you.

Let me introduce any regular employee working for a company. After doing the same things day in day out, the fun and excitement are starting to die out after the first month. As time goes by, gone are the days when they used to be overjoyed with that first deal closed, the first promotion, and the first award clinched, and many more. Work has become a drag, and it doesn't offer any more 'surprises' and a breath of fresh air the way it used to. But you know what? You can remove this feeling by changing your mindset. Your life is an exquisite piece of art, so live it and paint it!
Confucius once said the day you start enjoying your work would be the last day you ever worked.
If you're feeling jaded by your work, this episode is for you because I'll be sharing tips on how to start enjoying your work more by changing from a "planning" to a "design" mindset.

People-pleasing is a harmful habit in a person's life because the act takes your focus off what you can control and places your focus on what you cannot and shouldn't control, which is someone else's happiness and wellbeing. People-pleasing doesn't work because we won't correctly predict the mood someone else would be in all the time, as these kinds of things are not within our control.
Hence, if we base our happiness or unhappiness on someone's hands, we are highly vulnerable.
Today I'm going to share something called the people-pleasing Quadrant to help you understand more about what people-pleasing is all about and what we can do when we see our people-pleasing tendencies popping up. This people-pleasing Quadrant consists of 4 different situations you may find yourself in. Quadrant means four which means there are four different situations where you can develop strategies to deal with your people-pleasing tendencies.

Since self-confidence is such an important success trait, what better gift to bestow our children than helping them develop strong confidence in their abilities? Many of us assume that the only way to feel good about ourselves is to have other people constantly reaffirm to us that we are enough. This is not only unrealistic and unsustainable. Too often, we depend on other people to provide us with kindness, love, and support before we feel worthy. But the reality is when we need love and support, the first person we should rely on is ourselves!
In this episode, I will be sharing some helpful tips that you can use when you need the inspiration to cheer yourself on. If you have constantly been depending on other people's approval to feel worthy, this episode is for you.

Today's topic is anger management! Over the last 2 years, I find myself getting angry and upset more easily. I'm not sure if it's because of the lack of leisure or traveling that was once my favorite activities to destress after a long year's work, or it's the frustrations of working from home and the hiccups I face due to technological glitches. Anyway, my fuse is shorter now, that's for sure.
What about you? Do you find yourself getting upset at the most trivial things? Fret not. There's nothing wrong with you. As humans, we experience a range of emotions, making us human and differentiating us from other animals. That being said, learning some simple anger management techniques can help you to feel calmer and restore a sense of self-control over responses to situations that may upset you.
In this episode, I share a few simple anger management techniques that you can easily learn and apply, so that the next time you feel anger boiling within you, you can try them out before losing your temper unnecessarily. Enjoy!

Today we're going to discuss and explore something called the recovery rate. You might be asking, what is the recovery rate? Well, your recovery rate refers to the time you take to recover from actions or events that upset you. Does it take seconds? Minutes? Hours? Or does it take days or even weeks? How long exactly do you take to recover? The longer your recovery rate, the more influence an event or incident has on your actions, which causes you to be less able to perform at your best. To summarize, the longer you take to recover, the weaker you are, and the poorer your performance.
If this is something new to you, just ask yourself, how often have you gotten angry at your spouse or another half for something they did hours ago? How often have you missed an opportunity because you were feeling upset about an incident and didn't have the mood to attend to other matters? How often have you gotten pissed over a reckless driver who cut into your lane, and you curse and swear while driving home?
In this episode, I'll share with you a secret technique that I teach my life coaching clients to help them improve their recovery time and be the best version of themselves and I hope this would benefit you too!

In this episode, we will dive deep into this topic, and you'll learn tips that are based on my real-life experience which you can apply to your own life as well.

We've all been through this situation before. We have a good idea of what should be done, but we get stuck and fail to act because of fear! In my younger days, I was known as the “nice and nerdy girl” who would go out of the way to help others. I was often taken advantage of and that made me feel miserable, although I really wanted to make friends and fit in and hence, I continued with my ways. I did not speak my mind even though deep down I knew what I thought. What I didn't know so well was what I really felt, what my needs were and also how to express them.
It took me years to recognize that I was a People Pleaser, and since then, I have changed far from that pattern of behavior and find complete relief and satisfaction in the change. Today, I’m an independent, capable woman with a mind of my own.
And the truth is, you too, deserve this level of liberation, happiness, and balance.
In this episode, I’m going to share with you 3 reasons and supporting tips to stop being a people pleaser and live life on your terms. If you’re a people pleaser, or worst still, you feel like a doormat that everybody is taking advantage of, you NEED to listen to this episode.

In this world where it's extremely common to say "no," it takes a lot of courage to say "yes." The word "no" is not a bad thing if used appropriately. Permitting yourself to say "no" to certain things that do not serve you can keep you out of trouble and liberates you from committing things that you don't feel like doing. The problem happens when "no" starts to take on a life of its own and when that life is yours.
In this episode, we'll explore why people tend to say "no" and fail to take action, even if it's something that they truly want.
I'll also share tips on how you can resist a "no" and say "yes" instead when a new and exciting opportunity comes up and all those irrational fears start rioting inside you.

Self-confidence is one of the most important life skills that we need to develop in order to achieve greatness. Having greater self-confidence frees you from self-doubt and negative thoughts about yourself. You will also experience less anxiety and fear and be more willing to try new things and step out of your comfort zone, all of which are important in helping you progress and grow in your life.
Self-confidence levels differ for different people, depending on the environment they grew up in and the experiences they had in their childhood. If you grew up in an environment that has more criticism than praise or recognition, the chances are that your confidence levels will be lower than those who grew up in an environment that is more supportive. But the good news is, self-confidence is something that can be developed, literally for everyone!
In this episode, I'm going to share with you, my friend, some tips that I've employed in my life to skyrocket my confidence, which you can start applying today to boost your confidence too!

Today's podcast topic is "How to Set and Achieve your Goals".
Before you brush this off as a boring topic, think about it. Everybody sets goals sometime in their lives, especially during New Year's Eve! Everybody sets goals, but how many of these goals are being realized? Maybe you have made a few attempts to achieve your goals in the past but failed to make any progress, and you simply gave up along the way.
Why not give yourself another chance to fulfil your dreams? After all, you only live once, and I'm sure no one, if given a choice, would want to live their life with regrets!
But before that, the first thing you need to know is that goal setting is both an art and a science. Many people create goals that simply don't work. If you want to start working effectively, you need to set clear goals to help guide you in the right direction.
An effective and popular way to create goals that work is by using the SMART model. SMART is an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, and Time-oriented. In this episode, we'll go through each part of the SMART model so that you will become familiar with the process of setting a powerful goal.
