This is a podcast focused on YouTube channel growth tips and advice, with practical examples and use cases that are of interest to Minecraft content creators, but advice that applies to content creators of all shapes and sizes, in any genre, on YouTube or Twitch (or both).
In this episode, we talk about internationalization, reaching a global audience with your YouTube channel, and producing content that appeals to a wide range of people around the world. Minecraft is a worldwide game, and your content is consumed worldwide. Because of that, we need to think about how language is used in different parts of the world, and how that impacts Minecraft videos we create for our audience.

I do not condone the actions at the Academy Awards in 2022 at all, and I do not believe that violence is ever the answer to our problems. For the purposes of this podcast episode however, I have decided to mostly ignore those recent events and focus entirely on the events of the year 1997 instead.

Pixlriffs is a large Minecraft content creator on YouTube, so why is he cancelling his Patreon page? Why is he closing down Pixlrift, closing down his Minecraft server? And what can we learn (or should we learn) from this?
Pixlriffs is the creator of the Minecraft Survival Guide, he's the voice of the Hermitcraft Recap, a player on the Empires SMP this year with fWhip and other creators, and he recently commentated the Hermitcraft Rivals or Twitch Rivals livestream. He's also had brand deals with NVIDIA and others.
So why would a successful creator like Pixlriffs cancel his Patreon service? With 235 patrons, Patreon is surely a massive boost to his income, but at what cost? Perhaps it's linked to what we discussed last episode, talking about creator burnout and quitting YouTube before you get burned out as a Minecraft creator (or other content creator).
