A podcast about bouldering created by a group of friends. In each podcast, we will talk about different bouldering-related topics and sometimes speak to guests. Find us on Instagram @bouldersbreakdowns
In this JAMPACKED episode, Connie, Becky, and Anna talk bouldering-complementary sports and complete (a pretty wholesome) group assessment of their strengths and weaknesses. We really enjoyed recording this episode and have looked forward to sharing it.

Howdy. In this episode, Anna and Becky are joined by our guest, Luke, as we discuss body image and bouldering. Understandably, this can be a sensitive topic for a lot of people. We encourage taking breaks, avoiding this episode, or doing whatever you need for self-care if you find this episode hits too close to home.
Here are some useful (UK) organizations that could be helpful if needed:
Young Minds - Body Image: https://www.youngminds.org.uk/young-person/coping-with-life/body-image/
BEAT: https://www.beateatingdisorders.org.uk/
(BEAT is a charity focused on helping people with eating disorders. As part of this, they have some useful things on body image).
It was difficult to find places that solely help with body image and it tends to be eating disorder charities that focus on this. But, if you are struggling, we suggest talking to either a local professional or a loved one about these feelings. You don't need to struggle alone.
Thanks again for checking out this episode!
Becky, Anna & Luke x
Hello, this episode is a bit different from what we thought it would be about due to technical issues. So Becky is presenting an episode on mental health. I want to thank everyone who contributed as it really made the episode exciting to create.
This episode might feel too close to home at times. That's okay. Take the time you need to either listen or switch off.
If you have been impacted by mental health difficulties then support can be found with your local GP. Alternatively, there are organizations and charities which focus on supporting people with their mental health. These include but are not limited to:
Mind - "If you need non-urgent information about mental health support and services that may be available to you call 0300 123 3393 or email info@mind.org.uk"
The Samaritans - "Whatever you're going through, call us free any time, from any phone, on 116 123" Crisis Text Line - "In a crisis? Text SHOUT to 85258 in the UK to text with a trained Crisis Volunteer"
Thank you for listening,
Tom, Becky, Anna, and Connie x
In our first episode, Becky, Anna, and Tom discuss our recent bouldering achievements, what got us into bouldering, and what people can expect for their first time... Thank you to our Instagram followers who have also contributed to our podcast. Look out for our Instagram questions if you want the chance to feature in our next episode
Thanks,
Becky, Tom, Anna, and Connie
Due to an unforeseen COVID-related incident, we are unable to produce our first episode as intended. So here's a mini-introduction about what you can expect from us!
Thanks for listenings,
