Despite the present beauty behind the spiritual evolution found within communities founded in enlightening practices, there can also be present dangers that come with the overgeneralization of such traditions and customs. Growing up I always admired the artistic talent Melissa exhibited at such a young age. Not only would she sketch out cute characters, she would also create beautiful back stories for each and everyone of them. Welcome back everyone! On this week's episode, I had the pleasure in sitting down with Jivamukti Yoga instructor and Sacred Cacao Ceremonialist, Anna Papadakis! In yoga, becoming mindful of your everyday practices is important, as these practices determine the unity between your mind, emotions, and physicality. Although this is essential, the thought of adopting more mindful practices into our hectic daily lives can be quite overwhelming. Nonetheless, Anna touches upon the way in which yoga has gradually transformed her life into one with profound intention.

When peering into other sister dynamics, Natalie and I often fail to see genuine loving interactions between them. This is common for siblings who may grow up within households that navigate hectic and emotional waters. However, I am thankful to be able to say that my connection with Natalie has truly been different. She was my first best friend and was always by my side after my parents' marriage had failed. I firmly believe that she was brought into my life, as an angel in disguise, in order to help me navigate through the divorce (a true soul sister). All throughout those moments we have even share funny telepathic thoughts together. Those exact moments are the ones that let me know that she truly sees me and understands me as a human.
She has witnessed my vulnerability and I hope one day I can really sit and listen to her's. Heres to healing our relationship as soul sisters. I hope this conversation can bring you insight into bringing up tough conversations around your family one day.
