I'm Stitch! This is an absolutely informal, 100% for fun and venting podcast-y attempt where I bring my usual too-rude approach to commenting on fandom and media to a (relatively) regularly scheduled podcast-y setting. Expect lots of snark, intense opinions, and plenty of poking at our problematic faves.
In 2022, people continued to be angrier that fans of color dared to talk about the racism they were seeing/experiencing in fandom they were about the racism in fandom itself. In 2022 priorities remained skewed, racists were even bolder, people keep insisting that talking about racism in fandom is anti fandom in and of itself, and once again I am reminded that I alone (to say nothing of other fans of color speaking up in smaller spaces) am punished and harassed more for documenting this stuff than anyone is for being racist in queer/feminist fandom.

The second part of my two-part Festa episode arc. This is all about the tough stuff - the Festa dinner, enlistment (broadly), the not-hiatus, and the future of BTS and ARMY.
I'm grateful for the fandom, having the room to explore and talk about stuff so I unpack it, my co-fans who lent me their voices for this episode, and of course... I'm grateful to BTS for being willing to be vulnerable on main in a world where that's not always respected.

- The police officers who murdered Breonna Taylor in her own home are still free and weren't fired or charged as a result. I don't know if signing petitions is helping but I have emailed Louisville/Kentucky officials to try and urge them to do something. Here is a link that you can use to find information on how to contact Louisville/Kentucky officials about Breonna's murder. (It also has other information for other travesties of justice.)
- I think people need to get comfortable with the idea of being uncomfortable. Unlearning racism isn't easy. It's not fun. If you go into it expecting that folks will hold your hand through it, you're not going to get anywhere but frustrated.
